Andy looked up to see Miranda leaning against the doorframe. She smiled softly at her and they both got lost in the moment until Caroline nudged her.

"Please go on, Andy," Cassidy said.

"Of course," Andy said, pulling herself out of her dreamy state to continue with her reading with a soft smile.

Miranda left the room and went into the kitchen to make herself another cup of coffee and saw Andy's cellphone screen blink to life without making a noise. It was on silent but the incoming call showed it was her mother. She stared down at the phone for a moment before deciding to pick it up. "This is Miranda speaking."

"Oh!" Was the surprised gasp that greeted her. "Hello, Ms Priestly, what a surprise. This is Cathrine Sachs. Uhm...is my daughter okay?" The woman asked in concern since it was her boss answering.

"Hello, Catherine, please call me Miranda. I wanted to ensure you didn't worry when Andrea didn't answer you immediately since she's just reading to my girls." Miranda replied.

"Oh, how wonderful," Catherine exclaimed. "She's always been a bookworm. Thank you for letting me know. It's good to know she's safe in this scary situation." Catherine stated.

"I can promise, she is," Miranda said.

"Good." Catherine breathed. "You know, I've heard so many great things about you and I can imagine this situation isn't easy for you and your children." She babbled nervously.

"Why thank you, I'm glad to hear that and yes, it sure is. Having Andrea here makes it a lot easier for everyone though." Miranda said enjoying the pleasant conversation.

Andy joined her in the kitchen giving Miranda a puzzled look.

"Oh here is your daughter now," Miranda smirked.

"It was lovely talking to you, Miranda. Take care." Catherine said.

"Goodbye, Catherine." Miranda handed the cell over to a dumbstruck Andy. "I'm sorry, Andrea. I thought I should let your mother know you're okay." She advised softly.

"Hello, mother." Andy greeted with gritted teeth. Once Miranda had left the room she continued. "Oh my god, what did you tell her?" She demanded in a low hiss.

"Hello to you too." Catherine sassed. "I honestly said nothing. We simply had a nice little chat. I must say, she's very lovely, your Miranda."

"Oh lord." Andy sighed.

"Oh, would you calm down? I didn't tell her you're utterly in love with her if that's what you mean, but guess what she told me?" Catherine invited.

"What's that?" Andy asked.

"She said that you make everything easier by being there," Catherine told her gleefully. "So that's pretty amazing."

"She really said that?" Andy asked.

"She sure did. She is lovely, well at least from what I hear from you and as I said, our little chat was very pleasant." Catherine stated. "Anyway, I called because I was wondering how things are?"

"Well, Mom, don't freak out but we cuddled and she kissed me on the lips," Andy whispered almost freaking out herself when she thought about it again.

"Good for you, Andy. What do you think her girls would say if you'd started to date?" Catherine asked.

"Uhm...well, I guess they would be fine with it. They even suggested I move in with them." Andy admitted before starting to giggle. "They are really wonderful girls. I love spending time with them and with Miranda. Ugh, it's like a fairytale."

"Oh, my baby's got it bad." Cathrine chuckled. "By the way, your dad says hi. He's in the backyard mowing the lawn."

"Do you think he'd be okay with me dating a woman...an older woman to be exact?" Andy queried. "I mean if it were ever to happen."

"Oh he doesn't care, baby. He told me just yesterday that no matter what, he hopes you're happy. That's the way it is with us, if you're happy then we're happy." Catherine reassured. "And he wants grandchildren, not that he would ever admit that."

"Jeez, okay. Well, let's just see how everything goes, Mom." Andy rubbed her neck. "Am I selfish for not wanting the numbers to go down so I can stay a while longer?"

"Oh, Andy, baby. I'm sure the Priestly women will haul your butt right back once you return to your apartment." Catherine said. "Alright, baby, I should go. Your dad needs help."

"Okay, Mom. Thanks for calling. Tell dad I love him." Andy said

"I will. Bye, baby. I love you." Catherine told her.

"I love you too, Mom," Andy said as she ended the phone call with a sigh.

She tucked her cell in her pocket and moved upstairs to her room. When she stretched, her back started to cramp and she let out a strangled cry. "Oh, shit..."

"Andy?" Caroline queried. She opened the door and peered inside. "You okay?" She asked. When she spotted e a pained look on Andy's face, she grew worried. "Oh no, Andy. I'll go get Mommy." She rushed into the hall and started to yell. "MOM, ANDY NEEDS HELP." She stepped back into the room and sat down next to Andy.

"It's fine, Caro, I just have a cramp in my back. It's nothing serious." Andy said and sighed as she felt the pain lessen.

"What happened?" Miranda asked breathlessly.

"I just stretched and got a nasty cramp. As I said to Caro, it's nothing to worry about, really." Andy insisted, trying to act like she was fine.

"Caroline, you can go back to your room now. I'll take care of Andrea." Miranda stated, sending the girl away. "Lie on your stomach." She ordered.

"Wh-at…uhm...how do you mean?" Andy asked, a little confused.

"Lie. On. Your. Stomach." Miranda enunciated. "I thought we had established the fact that I do not like to repeat myself." She said, growing annoyed. Andy quickly obeyed and did as she was told. "Now if it hurts, you must let me know," Miranda stated as she pushed her shirt up and started to massage the lumbar area where Andy had her cramp. "Right here?" Miranda asked.

Andy was startled with a shooting pain since Miranda hit the right spot. "Oh...shi...yes, that's where it hurts." She hissed, trying not to cuss. Miranda continued to massage and Andy started to relax, and enjoy Miranda's touches. "Oh, finally!" She exhaled. "The pain's no longer shooting through my back. You're a lifesaver. Where did you learn how to do this?"

"Well, as you are aware, I'm full of surprises." Miranda offered with a small smile. She sat across Andy's thighs and continued the massage.

"I'm a lot better. You don't have to continue. I'm sure you're busy." Andy said, enjoying Miranda's hands on her way too much.

"It's fine, Andrea, just enjoy," Miranda said very softly.

Andy couldn't help but relax. "I'm enjoying it more than you know." She admitted. As she relaxed further, little noises of enjoyment were pulled from her throat every now and then. "Oh god, this feels so good." She whimpered.

Miranda's hands wandered under her shirt and slid up and to her sides giving her a full back rub now. "I'm glad you are enjoying this, darling, but you now owe me one in return." She whispered, leaning close to Andy's ear and making the woman beneath her tremble. She got up and saw the results of her handiwork.

Andy was totally relaxed with a goofy grin on her face. "I'm sure that can be arranged." She replied. Opening one eye, she looked up at the woman and smirked.

"Trust me, I'm counting on it," Miranda said and swept from the room.

When Andy was alone she turned on her back and grinned up at the ceiling like a lovesick fool and realised she was utterly in love with the woman.
