The next episode of Total Drama Aftermath was about to begin. The letters, T, D and I appeared on the screen with the word "Aftermath" appearing underneath. The camera then proceeded to zoom in on Alexneushoorn and Blaineley sitting on the brown leather couch by the pool at the Playa Des Losers mansion. Aston once again sat in the first seat in the bottom row of the peanut gallery, Hana once again sat next to Aston, Oliver once again sat next to Hana, Sasha once again sat next to Oliver, Grayson once again sat next to Sasha, Tessa once again sat next to Grayson, Dustin once again sat next to Tessa, Victoria sat next to Dustin again, and Johan sat in the first seat of the second row of the peanut gallery.
"Welcome back to Total Drama Aftermath, people!" Alexneushoorn began with an optimistic smile.
"If you like cooking, then tonight's episode of Total Drama Island was right up your alley! For this episode's challenge, the Screaming Gophers and the Killer Bass had to cook up a three course for our host, Chris!" Blaineley chimed in with an equally optimistic smile.
"Yep! And in the end, the Screaming Gophers were able to finally break their pathetic losing streak against the Killer Bass because Socorro trusted some pea brained beasts to guard the Killer Bass' three course meal, and those pea brained beasts proceeded to eat the Killer Bass' three course meal! Of course, such a grave mistake didn't go unpunished, as the majority of the Killer Bass proceeded to vote Socorro and his ostrich buddies off the island!" Alexneushoorn continued.
"I get that Melissa was mad at Socorro for causing the Bass to lose the challenge, but to leave him out of that feast that the viewers back home voted for them to win? That's a bit harsh in my opinion." Aston spoke up from the peanut gallery.
Hana nodded in agreement. "Melissa appears to be very driven by the competition, and when the competition is lost for her team, her temper appears to get the best of her, which is what led to her acting so mean spirited towards Socorro after the challenge was over." She chimed in.
"I can read Melissa as someone who is driven by winning any competition she enters, and due to being a bad loser, she tends to get enraged whenever she loses in a competition, as was the case in tonight's episode. Only time will tell if this competitive drive will lead to her downfall in the competition." Oliver then spoke up.
"Y-Y-Yeah...W-W-While Socorro did c-c-cause his team to lose the ch-ch-challenge, Melissa had no r-r-right to be so mean towards S-S-Socorro..." Sasha meekly added as she shyly rubbed her left arm with her right hand.
"If I were still in the game, I wouldn't know what to do during tonight's challenge, because I'm terrible at cooking and only know basic stuff." Grayson admitted as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "If Cammie had told my team that, I would've gotten voted off in this episode if I didn't get voted off a few weeks ago." He added.
"I understand Melissa's anger towards Socorro. I mean, like you said, he did trust some pea brained beasts to guard the Killer Bass' food, but that doesn't mean Socorro deserved to starve to death while the rest of his team was stuffing themselves with delicious food." Tessa continued.
"I gotta be honest, I'm still weirded out by the fact that Socorro had ostriches with him in the game, but I don't blame him since they were there to keep him company. I also feel a bit bad for Socorro for getting the boot in this episode, but not too much since his elimination was still his fault." Dustin chimed in.
"Socorro's a really sweet guy, and he cares for those ostriches like they were his kids, but they ended up costing him his place in the game. But knowing Socorro, he probably isn't too mad at those ostriches about it. He forgives rather easily, from what I could tell about him during his stay on the island." Victoria then spoke up.
"It's too bad Socorro ended getting voted out over some pea brained beasts eating his team's food. I would've loved to see that guy make it farther into the competition. But unfortunately, it didn't get to be. And now him and his ostriches are on their way to Playa Des Losers, where they get to spend the rest of Total Drama Island's runtime." Johan concluded.
Alexneushoorn nodded at the eliminated campers' commentary. "Alright, thank you all for your commentary." He told them before turning his attention back to the camera. "Anyway, while we await the arrival of Socorro and his ostriches, let's take a look at the day's events!" He announced as the tv screen behind him and Blaineley lit up to reveal what the eliminated campers had been up to at Playa Des Losers for the day.
-Confessional: Johan-
"Well, today's my first day here at Playa Des Losers after I got framed by those snakes Janson and Miles..." Johan sighed. "I just hope that Sybil will be able to hold out back on the island despite my departure, because if not, she's going to get the boot herself sooner or later."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Victoria-
"I feel really bad for Johan for suffering a fate similar to my own in this game..." Victoria admitted with a frown. "I'll be sure to give him all the comfort he needs here at Playa Des Losers today. I'm sure that's what Sybil would've wanted me to do."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Dustin-
"Johan's arrival at Playa Des Losers the other night marked the third Screaming Gophers elimination in a row. I'm honestly just hoping that the Screaming Gophers won't lose too many more challenges, because if they do, there'll be none of them left by the time the next phase of the competition hits."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Tessa-
"Johan seems like an interesting guy. He likes music, much like I do. Perhaps we could do a few jam sessions by the pool during the remainder of our time at Playa Des Losers this summer." Tessa remarked.
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Grayson-
"I feel bad for Johan for falling victim to those douchebags Janson and Miles. I mean, Janson is part of the reason why I'm here at Playa Des Losers myself. Maybe I'll hang out with him for a bit today, and try to befriend him. It's the least I can do when we're both stuck at this resort for the rest of the summer." The motocross lover shrugged.
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Sasha-
"J-J-Johan's a really nice and sweet guy...He did n-n-not deserve the fate he s-s-suffered at the c-c-campfire the other night...J-J-Johan and I got along f-f-fairly well back at camp, so...The b-b-bonding part shouldn't be too much of a p-p-problem...R-R-Right...?"
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Oliver-
"First me, then Sasha, then Dustin, then Victoria, then Johan. The Screaming Gophers keep dropping in numbers, and most of the Screaming Gophers booted from the competition were booted as a result of those twats Janson and Miles scheming against them. It just boils my blood to see those wankers running the game, and I'm hoping they'll both get the boot themselves sooner or later."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Hana-
"Another Screaming Gophers elimination last night, and this time, it was Johan. Due to the two of us being on opposite teams when we were still in the competition, we haven't interacted much, but now that the two of us are here at Playa Des Losers, that might change. I'm most interested in getting to know Johan, I must say."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Aston-
"Two Killer Bass eliminations in a row...Two Screaming Gophers eliminations in a row...Two Killer Bass eliminations in a row...Three Screaming Gophers eliminations in a row...I fear that the next three eliminations might be Killer Bass eliminations..." Aston noted out loud with a worried look on his face.
-End Confessional-
The scene then cut to Victoria and Johan sitting inside Johan's bedroom, sitting on Johan's bed together. Johan let out another sigh. "I still can't believe I got framed by those assholes Janson and Miles..." The snarky musician muttered.
Victoria put an arm around Johan. "I suffered the same fate, Johan. I got voted out of the game because of those jerks as well." She told him.
Johan looked at Victoria and nodded to her. "Yeah...I feel really bad for Sybil right now...She must be heartbroken because I'm no longer around..." He replied.
"I'm sure that she'll be able to use your elimination as motivation to continue with the game and win it for you." Victoria told Johan with a reassuring smile.
Johan thought about it before smiling at Victoria and nodding. "You're right, Tori. I bet she can pull through this. I'll be rooting for her all the way while I'm here at Playa Des Losers. I'm sure we'll be reunited by the time this show is over." He agreed.
"That's the spirit, Johan!" Victoria beamed. "Now how about we go grab some grub from the kitchen to lighten the mood even further?" She asked him.
"Sounds like a plan." Johan smiled as him and Victoria got up and proceeded to leave the bedroom to head to the kitchen.
The scene then cut to Grayson and Hana sitting on the roof terrace together in a love seat. "Sure feels nice up here on the roof terrace today, doesn't it, Hana? No one here, except us and the cameras." The motocross lover said with a smile.
Hana smiled and nodded in agreement. "Agreed. Very peaceful and quiet. Perfect for some meditation, wouldn't you say?" She asked Grayson.
"Meditation, huh? You mean sitting still and doing nothing, something that people do to calm their minds?" Grayson asked her back.
Hana nodded. "Correct. Would you perhaps be interested in a meditation session right now?" She asked Grayson back again.
Grayson smiled and nodded. "Sure, I'd love that." He replied.
"Very well. Just cross your legs as if you were a magic genie sitting on a flying carpet, okay?" Hana instructed as she began to sit on the love seat that way.
"Alright." Grayson nodded as he began to sit on the love seat the same way.
"Use your thumb and index finger to make a circle with both hands." Hana then instructed as she began to do that.
"Alright." Grayson nodded as he did as Hana instructed.
"Now, just shut your eyes, and go...Ommmm..." Hana began humming out loud, with Grayson doing the same thing.
"Ommmm..." Grayson hummed, and the two went on like that for a while.
The scene then cut to the kitchen, where Johan, Victoria, Sasha and Oliver were eating together. Johan was having a sandwich with cucumber and mayonaise and a glass of carrot juice, Victoria was having a grilled cheese sandwich and a glass of strawberry milk, Sasha was having a hamburger with ketchup and mustard and a glass of orange soda and Oliver was having an omelette with a glass of milk.
"Man, who knew that this resort was right around the corner from Camp Wawanakwa? Going to this place after being eliminated from Total Drama Island feels like a reward for putting up with Chris, Chef and the crumminess of Camp Wawanakwa." Johan remarked as he ate his cucumber sandwich.
Oliver couldn't but shiver in disgust at the sight of Johan's cucumber sandwich. "Your consumption of a cucumber sandwich frightens me, Johan..." The British detective remarked with a frown on his face.
"Why's that?" Johan asked after taking a bite from his cucumber sandwich.
"Well...Every day since I moved out of my parents' house, a cucumber is placed outside my apartment door. I don't know why it's placed there, and it terrifies me..." Oliver admitted.
"C-Cumcumbers are being placed outside your apartment d-d-door every day...? I-It sounds a little silly, b-but also serious if it s-s-scares you..." Sasha remarked after taking a bite from her hamburger.
"Indeed, it does...This is one of the few cases I just can't seem to crack, and it's driving me bonkers..." Oliver sighed before going back to eating his omelette.
"Don't worry, Oliver. I'm sure you'll crack that case eventually." Victoria assured him with a cheerful smile.
Oliver nodded at that. "You're right, Victoria. Thank you for the kind words." He smiled as he continued to eat.
The scene then cut to Dustin and Oliver playing chess in Dustin's bedroom. Because the game went on for a while, the footage was once again sped up until Oliver eventually managed to beat Dustin. "And that's checkmate, my friend." Oliver smirked.
"Aw, shoot. Don't worry, I'll beat you at some point during our stay at Playa Des Losers, Oliver. For now, good game." Dustin smiled as he shook the British detective's hand in a sportsmanlike manner.
The scene then cut to Tessa and Aston playing a game of air hockey against each other in the game room, with Grayson and Hana playing a motorcycle racing arcade game against each other in the background.
"I wonder how the other campers are doing back at Camp Wawanakwa..." Aston wondered out loud as he played air hockey against Tessa.
"Most likely they're being put through a challenge right now. I wonder what challenge Chris has in store for those guys today..." Tessa wondered out loud herself.
"I guess we'll have to find out by watching tonight's episode of Total Drama Island." Aston replied as he managed to score a point by getting the puck into Tessa's goal.
"Indeed." Tessa replied as she placed the puck back on the table and shot it towards Aston's goal.
Grayson and Hana were listening in on the conversation. "I just hope that Janson won't be doing too much manipulative work on Cammie during today's challenge, because it always boils my blood to see that eel at work with her." Grayson replied to Aston and Tessa.
"Well, maybe if the Killer Bass lose tonight's challenge, we could be getting a break from Janson and Miles' scheming. As much as I would hate to see our former team lose the challenge, I could use a break from watching Janson and Miles scheming the downfall of another innocent camper." Hana chimed in.
Tessa nodded in agreement. "I agree, Hana. It would be nice to get a break from Janson and Miles' scheming, even though I'd hate to see our former team lose the challenge." She replied to the Judoka.
"We'll just have to watch tonight's episode of Total Drama Island, then we'll know." Aston chimed in.
The scene then cut to the gym, where Dustin, Johan and Grayson were running on treadmills next to each other. "Nothing says masculinity like three guys working out together, don't you think?" Grayson asked Dustin and Johan with a chuckle.
Johan chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Agreed, Gray. It feels great to be working out with my fellow men. Just the thing to remind myself of what gender I am." He replied to the motocross lover.
Dustin smiled and nodded in agreement as well. "Yep. So, guys...What are your favorite school subjects?" He curiously asked.
Grayson thought about it. "I'm not sure. But if I had to choose one of my favorites...It'd have to be P.E.. It gets the blood pumping, and it helps me keep in shape. My favorite part of P.E. is dodgeball. I especially love it when the gym teacher joins my team when we're losing, because our gym teacher is a pro at dodgeball." The motocross lover remarked with a grin.
"My favorite school subjects are music, art, writing and reading. I am a songwriter, after all." Johan remarked with a smile.
"What about you, Dustin? What are your favorite school subjects?" Grayson asked the mathematician.
"Math, history, physics and P.E.." Dustin replied.
"That's nice. I hate math myself, so it's nice to see that someone else likes it." Johan remarked.
"Yep. I like the more mind oriented school subjects because one of my life goals and dreams is to become one of the chess grandmasters." Dustin replied with a prideful look on his face.
"Yeah, that makes sense. I'm sure you'd become a very good chess grandmaster." Grayson said with a smile.
"Yeah. I'm sure you'd be a tournament topper." Johan agreed with a smile.
Dustin chuckled. "Thanks, guys." He replied with a smile as the guys continued working out together.
The scene then cut to the wellness center, where Grayson and Hana were sitting inside the sauna while Dustin and Victoria were sitting inside the mud bath together. "Whew, that was quite a workout with the guys earlier." Grayson sighed in satisfaction as he sat inside the sauna with Hana.
Hana giggled a little bit. "You and the guys sure put your arm and leg muscles to work in the gym today, did you?" She asked Grayson with a smile.
Grayson chuckled. "We sure did, Hana. I mean, we're eating a lot of good stuff from the kitchen, as well as the outdoor grill, so we wanna make sure we don't put on too much weight from all that eating." He told her.
Hana giggled a bit more as she had an arm around Grayson's waist. "I had quite the Judo spar with Johan earlier, so it feels good for me to unwind in the sauna as well after such a workout." She told Grayson with a smile.
Grayson chuckled once more as he had an arm around Hana's neck. "Ain't that the truth?" He replied before sighing in satisfaction once more.
Dustin and Victoria couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of this. "Grayson and Hana, kissing in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." Dustin and Victoria said in a singsongy tone of voice, causing Grayson and Hana to blush and remove their arms from each other's bodies.
Finally, the scene cut to the eliminated campers watching tv in the lobby together. They were watching the latest episode of Total Drama Island, and they had just seen how Socorro and his ostrich buddies were eliminated.
"Aw, poor Socorro. But it was bound to happen at some point." Aston spoke up.
"That's what you get for letting a pea brained beast such as the ostrich guard the Killer Bass' food. Their eyes and stomachs are bigger than their brains, as is the case here." Hana added.
"Indeed. That was a grave mistake on Socorro's part. If you ask someone to guard the food, they will almost always most certainly eat it." Oliver chimed in.
"Y-Y-Yeah...It was not a very s-s-smart decision of Socorro to do that..." Sasha meekly spoke up with a frown on her face.
"Another member of the Killer Bass bites the dust...Oh well, I suppose it's only fair after the Screaming Gophers lost the previous three challenges." Grayson sighed.
"I guess you're right, Gray. I guess you're right. That still makes it a sad elimination though." Tessa voiced her opinion on the matter.
"I guess it does. But Socorro still has himself to blame for his elimination." Dustin then spoke up.
"Yeah...But we'll make sure to give Socorro all the comfort he needs once he gets to Playa Des Losers, right, guys?" Victoria asked the others, who nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, the guy is probably upset that he's out of the game." Johan agreed as well. The tv screen then went black again.
"Well, I think there's no denying that Grayson and Hana are slowly but surely becoming a couple." Blaineley chuckled as Grayson and Hana's faces turned bright red.
"Absolutely not! And even if we were, it's none of your business!" Grayson retorted.
"Technically, it is. You are on a reality show, after all." Blaineley pointed out with a smirk as Grayson groaned and Hana just remained silent with a flushed face.
Alexneushoorn chuckled. "Aaaah, young love..." He smiled before turning his attention back to the camera. "Anyway, with those formalities out of the way, let's give it up for our eliminated camper of the night! Please put your hands together for Socorro and his ostrich buddies Victor, Judy and Lionel!" He announced as Socorro entered the scene from the right side of the scene with his ostrich buddies and sat down in the brown leather chair in between the peanut gallery and Alex and Blaineley's couch. The ostriches sat down on both sides of the chair.
"Hiya, Socorro! Welcome to Total Drama Aftermath!" Blaineley greeted Socorro.
Socorro rolled his eyes at the sight of Blaineley, knowing fully well what kind of person she was. "Thanks, I guess." He replied to Blaineley. "I'd rather much talk with the dude though. At least he's not a Hollywood cliché like you." He added.
"I am not a Hollywood cliché, ostrich boy!" Blaineley huffed with an angry look on her face.
"She is." Alexneushoorn whispered to Socorro before getting another kick to the shin from Blaineley. "Ow!" The bald headed host exclaimed.
"How do you put up with her?" Socorro asked Alexneushoorn.
"Hey, when you've been in the business for a while, you learn to put up with these people." Alexneushoorn told him before moving on. "Anyway, this Aftermath's not about us, it's about you. The point is, you got booted from the game because of your ostriches eating the food. Are you mad at your ostriches for what happened?" He asked Socorro.
"Well, yes and no. Yes, I am upset with them for eating my team's three course meal that could've won us the challenge, but I've only got myself to blame for that. I left my ostriches alone in the kitchen with the three course meal when I should've known better than that. So my elimination was my fault. But it was really harsh of Melissa to not let me join in on that feast the viewers back home had voted for us to win. At least Mason and Kennedy were nice enough to give me some of that stuff before I took my leave from Camp Wawanakwa. I ate it on the way here." Socorro explained.
"I agree that Melissa had the right to be angry at you, but she also shouldn't have excluded you from the feast." Grayson agreed.
"So you're mad at your ostriches, but you're also not mad at them?" Blaineley asked Socorro to make sure where he was going with this.
"Pretty much." Socorro replied. "Sure, I may have seen 100 grand slip through my fingers and most likely disappointed my family, but at least I have something that no amount of money can put a prize on: Three best friends." He said as he gestured to Victor, Judy and Lionel, who happily smiled.
"Awwww..." Alexneushoorn smiled as Blaineley rolled her eyes.
"Alright, with that out of the way, the viewers back home have left a few questions for you back home. Would you like to answer them?" Blaineley asked Socorro.
Socorro shrugged. "Sure, why not?" He replied.
Alexneushoorn and Blaineley nodded as the tv screen behind them lit up again. "Alright, xxPrincxssxx wants to know: What are your plans now? Are the ostriches going to continue living with you and your family? Who are you rooting for in the competition?" Blaineley asked Socorro.
"Well, now that I'm out of the game, I think I'm most likely going to try and continue improving myself so that my family will be happy that I'm trying to achieve greater goals than they ever had. I just want my family to be proud of me for once in my life. And yes, the ostriches will continue to live with me and my family. And if my family objects, I'll just blackmail them into letting them live with us by refusing to achieve greater goals than them if the ostriches can't live with us. As for who I'm rooting for in the competition, I'm definitely rooting for Mason and Kennedy. Those two have just done so much for me during my stay at Camp Wawanakwa, and I owe them for that. I'm hoping those two make it to the final two together." Socorro replied.
Alexneushoorn and Blaineley nodded before moving on to the next question. "Next, Fritz Electroscreech wants to know: Why the hell did you think of using ostriches as a bodyguard? They have small brains! Also, why did you bring ostriches to Wawanakwa?" Alexneushoorn asked Socorro.
Victor, Judy and Lionel looked offended at Fritz Electroscreech's remark about their small brains, but Socorro rubbed their heads to comfort them. "Well, first off: These ostriches are not my bodyguards. They're my pets and best friends. They've just been helping out my team during challenges. And second: I didn't bring them to Wawanakwa. Chris did. He first brought Victor to Wawanakwa to help me overcome my fear of big birds like ostriches and cassowaries, and after I befriended Victor, Chris brought Judy and Lionel to Wawanakwa, as they're Victor's mate and kid. Hopefully that answers your questions." Socorro replied.
"Next, Fritz Electroscreech has a question for Blaineley: Can you wear something other than that dress? Try to be like Vanna White!" Alexneushoorn asked Blaineley.
For once, Blaineley wasn't offended by Fritz Electroscreech's question. "If you insist, sure. I'll wear another dress for the next Aftermath. It'd give me a good chance to show off the rest of my Olivia Sachs collection too." She replied.
"Yeah, I should probably wear some different suits for the future Aftermaths too. I've only wore this white two piece suit for all Aftermaths so far." Alexneushoorn agreed before him and Blaineley moved on to the next question.
"Next, Thunderstrike16 wants to know: Do you have any hard feelings towards Melissa on how she treated you after the challenge?" Blaineley asked Socorro.
"Well, yes and no. Yes, I was upset that she treated me so harshly after the challenge, but she also had the right to be angry because I left Victor, Judy and Lionel alone with the three course meal that could've won us the challenge. So her anger was partly justified." Socorro replied.
Alexneushoorn and Blaineley nodded before moving on to the next question. "Next, Candela Monsoon wants to know: How do you think you'd fare without your ostriches?" Alexneushoorn asked Socorro.
Socorro thought about it. "I'm not sure. I probably would fare well, but I'm not sure if it'd change my standing in the elimination rankings. I just have the feeling that I would've been eliminated in tonight's episode either way." He replied.
"Alright, one last question before we move on to the next segment. Obsidian Champion wants to know: If you had to only pick one of your ostriches to keep you company, who would it be and why?" Blaineley asked Socorro while Victor, Judy and Lionel were surprised by the question.
"Well, I don't like to biased towards my ostriches, since I love them all equally, but if I had to pick only one of them...It'd have to be Victor. I mean, he did help me get over my fear of big birds like ostriches and cassowaries, and I owe him for that. Sorry, Judy. Sorry, Lionel." Socorro said.
Judy then squawked, with subtitles on the screen reading: "It's cool, Socorro. I know it's hard to choose only one of us."
Lionel squawked as well, with subtitles on the screen reading: "Yeah, we understand."
"Alright, that's about all the questions we had on the Total Drama Hotline tonight! Now it's time to move on to our next segment: The Best of Total Drama Island, where you, the viewers back home can relive the best and worst moments of tonight's episode of Total Drama Island!" Alexneushoorn announced.
Blaineley nodded in agreement. "A lot of people seemed to show sympathy for Sybil after her boyfriend Johan was wrongfully eliminated at the hands of Janson and Miles. Let's take a look at this clip from the very beginning of tonight's episode." She said before the tv screen lit up to show the clip.
"Sybil? You awake?" Cameron asked Sybil.
"I am...Barely got any sleep last night..." Sybil groaned in agony, her words being muffled due to her face still being buried in her pillow.
"Is it because of Johan?" Valerie asked her. Sybil simply groaned in response. "I'll take that as a yes." The Latina nodded.
"Come on, Sybil. I get that the two of you were close with each other, but the dude was a thief. I mean, he stole our stuff and put it in his guitar suitcase where he thought no one would look." Michelle told Sybil.
"Leave her be, Michelle. She needs some time to take it all in." Cameron told her.
Valerie had put on her clothes in the meantime. "Well, I don't know about you señoras, but I'm going to the toilet and then get ready for breakfast. Chris most likely has another challenge coming up for us today." She said before leaving the cabin.
Michelle had also quickly put on her clothes. "Yep. And knowing Chef, he'll probably have another crummy breakfast ready for us when we arrive at the mess hall. But first, I'm going to the toilet too." She said before following Valerie out of the cabin.
"See you at breakfast, Sybil." Cameron told Sybil after putting on her own clothes and leaving the cabin to go to the toilet as well. Sybil simply groaned in response once more.
-Confessional: Sybil-
Sybil had dark circles under her eyes, and she stared up at the ceiling in agony. "Ugh...I got no sleep at all last night...I spent the whole night mourning Johan's elimination at the campfire pit the other night...I know that Johan wouldn't have wanted me to be this miserable over his elimination, but I just couldn't help it...I just have to get over it and help my team win this challenge if I want to avoid being the next camper kicked out of the competition at the campfire tonight..."
-End Confessional-
Johan couldn't help but frown at the sight of seeing Sybil so miserable over his elimination. "Poor Sybil...My elimination really did affect her..." He sighed.
"Looks like you managed to break some hearts without intending to do so." Blaineley replied with a smirk before Alexneushoorn rolled his eyes at her words and proceeded to move on to the next clip.
"Anyway, for our second clip, people have shown some love for this conversation between Kylie and Lester during the challenge about Lester's experiences with his school's chess team, and they're hoping that Lester will be making it all the way to the finale after this conversation. Let's take a look." Alexneushoorn spoke before the clip began to play.
Meanwhile, back on the Bass' side of the kitchen, Kylie and Lester were working on the dessert for their team's three course meal, and like with the appetizer and the main course, Kylie and Lester were impressed.
"Wow. Who knew Melissa knows how to make an extravagant tiramisu?" Kylie asked Lester as they were working on said tiramisu.
"I know, right? I'm impressed by such cooking talent as well. And with that onion blossom Mason, Kennedy and Socorro are making, as well as Nathan, Melissa and Regina's lobster with lemon butter and fries, Chris will most likely automatically make us win the challenge." Lester agreed.
"Yeah. But even though we've won three challenges in a row, and we've got a pretty good idea for our three course meal going, I can't help but have a bad feeling that our hot streak of winning challenges is going to run out." Kylie admitted as she and Lester continued to work on the tiramisu.
"You know, I've actually been having that same bad feeling." Lester agreed once more. "If there's one thing I've learned from running with the chess team in my school, it's that winning too many competitions is bound to bring bad luck at some point. Me and the guys and gals on the chess team in school back home, we were having a hot streak with winning chess competitions for a while, raking in trophy after trophy, and we even played good enough to make it to the championships, but once we got to the championships, our luck ran out. We sucked crap through a straw in the first round and were quickly eliminated from the championships. When me and the chess team returned to our school, we were pelted with raw eggs and rotten tomatoes. I've never felt more humiliated in my life." He told Kylie.
Kylie frowned at that. "Oh, you poor little guy! I'm so sorry you had to deal with that!" She told the short teen in a compassionate tone of voice.
"It's fine. Me and the chess team didn't go running around, crying and acting sad over that incident. We just dusted off our shoulders and kept on moving. I still appreciate the sentiment nonetheless. But my point is: Our team's luck with winning challenges is bound to run out at some point, just like how my chess team's luck ran out. Heck, it could even run out today." Lester replied to Kylie.
"Lester appears to fit the underdog stereotype in reality show competitions like this very well. You shouldn't underestimate the underdogs, as they are usually the ones who make it very far into the game." Aston spoke from the peanut gallery.
"Ain't that the truth?" Blaineley replied in an attempt to make herself look good, but it didn't work as Alexneushoorn, as well as Socorro and the eliminated campers in the peanut gallery rolled their eyes. Even the ostriches rolled their eyes. Blaineley glared at this. "Wow. Tough crowd." She remarked before turning her attention back to the camera.
"Anyway, on to our final clip of the night. People have truly shown sympathy for the tears that Mason and Kennedy shed as Socorro took his leave from Camp Wawanakwa tonight. This moment gave Mason and Kennedy a whole bunch of new fans who hope that the two of them will make it all the way to the finale together. Let's take a look." Blaineley spoke as the clip began to play.
Socorro sighed in defeat. "I had it coming. I deserved this. I left Victor, Judy and Lionel alone in the kitchen with the three course meal when I should have known better than that. My family's going to be so disappointed with me when I get home. Goodbye, guys. Thanks for everything." He said before getting up and turning to his ostrich buddies. "Victor, Judy, Lionel...Let's go." He added before Socorro and his ostrich buddies walked down the Dock of Shame and stepped on board of the Boat of Losers.
"Socorro, before you go, we have something for you!" Kennedy called as she and Mason ran up to Socorro and both handed him some of the food from the feast they had earlier that night.
"Kennedy and I secretly saved some food from the feast for you. We felt like despite your ostrich buddies screwing us over during the challenge today, you didn't deserve to starve to death." Mason told the Type-A perfectionist.
Socorro smiled as tears ran down his cheeks. "Thanks, guys...It means a lot to me...I'll never forget you guys and the acts of kindness you pulled for me..." He said before the Boat of Losers took off and Mason and Kennedy gave Socorro a farewell salute as a single tear rolled over their cheeks.
Tears started rolling Socorro's cheeks again. "I just can't believe that they were nice enough to save some of the food from the feast for me and give it to me as I took my leave from the island...I love those guys so, so much..." Socorro tearfully replied.
"Awwww..." The eliminated campers in the peanut gallery sighed. Oliver gagged in disgust before Hana smacked him on the back of the head.
"Ow!" Oliver exclaimed.
Alexneushoorn couldn't help but chuckle at the exchange between Hana and Oliver before clearing his throat and turning his attention back to the camera. "Anyway, let's move on to our next segment: Brooke's Breakdown, where Valerie's girlfriend, Brooke Sinclair will be analyzing each episode of Total Drama Island and giving her opinions on everything that's happened during the episode! Without further ado, here's Brooke!" He announced as Brooke appeared on the tv screen again.
"Hi, Total Drama Aftermath! I'm back!" Brooke smiled and waved.
"Hey there, Brooke." Blaineley smiled and waved. "So, what do you have to say about tonight's episode of Total Drama Island?" She asked Brooke.
"Oh, a lot!" Brooke laughed as her shirt was lifted up by Valerie's brothers, Armando and Alejandro, causing her to unintentionally show off her stomach along with her pierced belly button. "Socorro, I don't see why you would ask a bunch of ostriches to guard your team's food. You do know that ostriches are very dumb animals, right?" She asked the Type-A perfectionist as Victor, Judy and Lionel had an offended glare on their faces.
"I do admit that asking my ostriches to guard the food was a big mistake on my part..." Socorro sighed as he rubbed Victor, Judy and Lionel's heads to comfort them. "I know I keep repeating myself, but I deserved to be eliminated tonight for costing my team the challenge. While Melissa was harsh to me after the challenge was over, she had the right to be angry." He continued.
"By the way, who are those boys lifting up your shirt? Are those Valerie's brothers?" Alexneushoorn asked curiously as Armando and Alejandro's eyes widened in shock as they realized they had been caught. Brooke stopped laughing as she realized this, and she proceeded to blush madly as Armando and Alejandro ran out of the room while Brooke gave chase.
"If you come into my room while I'm filming for Total Drama Aftermath one more god damn time, I will grab Valerie's papi's seasoned kitchen knifes and cut off all your fingers and toes! Now get the fuck out!" Brooke shouted at Armando and Alejandro off screen before returning to her room and locking the door to prevent Armando and Alejandro from entering again. She exhaled deeply as she sat down again.
"Sorry about that...Valerie's brothers are a real pain in the ass sometimes..." Brooke said with an annoyed look on her face.
"Hey, it's cool. It made for some good entertainment." Blaineley assured her. "Anyway, do you have anything else to say about tonight's episode of Total Drama Island?" She asked Brooke.
Brooke thought about it. "I guess so. I felt really bad for Sybil because she felt so miserable over Johan's elimination. I also liked how Valerie tried to make things up to Sybil by covering her during today's episode. She might be being manipulated by those assholes Janson and Miles, but at the end of the day, Valerie's got a heart as big as a whale. That's one of the big reasons why I fell for her in the first place." She spoke with a smile.
Alexneushoorn and Blaineley nodded at that. "Alright. Anything else you have to say about tonight's episode or was that about it?" Alexneushoorn asked her.
"Off the top of my head, that's about it. Looking forward to the next episode, and I hope to see you all again next time with another episode of Brooke's Breakdown! Bye for now!" Brooke smiled and waved before the tv screen went black again.
"Alright, that was it for Brooke's Breakdown! Now let's move on to our final segment of the night: Epic Mail Time!" Alexneushoorn announced.
"Yep! This is the segment where eliminated campers from Camp Wawanakwa currently here at Playa Des Losers will be receiving letters and weird gifts from fans all around the world! Let's take a look at what Bruce received from you all today!" Blaineley added as Bruce entered with all the mail, as well as a cardboard box, which interested some of the eliminated campers.
"This is everything I got from the viewers. Enjoy." Bruce said before leaving again. Alexneushoorn then proceeded to pick up the first letter.
"This first letter's for you, Johan." Alexneushoorn told the snarky musician.
"Really, huh? Who's it from?" Johan asked curiously.
"Let's see..." Alexneushoorn replied as he began to read the letter. "Dear Johan, I was a huge fan of you during your run at Camp Wawanakwa, and I was SO SAD when you were eliminated because of those jerks Janson and Miles! I hope that you and Sybil will be reunited by the time Total Drama Island wraps up and you'll be able to really start your relationship! Got my fingers crossed and will continue rooting for you during your stay at Playa Des Losers! – Stacy Belmont, Flatbush, Alberta, Canada"
"Thanks for you letter, Stacy. I hope Sybil and I will be reunited by the time Total Drama Island wraps up as well, and I can't wait to see her again." Johan said to the camera.
Blaineley proceeded to pick up the next letter. "This next one's for Victoria." She said.
"Who is it from?" Victoria asked curiously.
"Let's see..." Blaineley replied as she began to read the letter. "Dear Victoria, I'm mailing you this rhino plushie that used to belong to my son when he was little. He's 17 right now, and he said he doesn't need it anymore, so I'm sending it to you, because I felt you would like something like this. If not, feel free to regift it. – Michael Atkinson, East London, United Kingdom" Blaineley then proceeded to hand the rhino plushie to Victoria.
"Ooooh, he's so CUTE!" Victoria squealed happily. "Thanks, Mr. Atkinson, for the rhino plushie! I'll be sure to give it a special place in my bedroom when I get home!" She happily beamed at the camera.
Alexneushoorn smiled before picking up the next letter. "This next letter's for Dustin." He said.
"Really, huh? Who's it from?" Dustin asked curiously.
"Let's see..." Alexneushoorn began to read the letter. "Dear Dustin, I've seen you in action at Camp Wawanakwa, and I felt really bad for you because Miles was using you to further himself into the game, and I felt even more bad for you when Miles disposed of you when you were starting to cause trouble for him. A guy as nice as you deserves much better. Hopefully you and your brothers will be able to get out of the terrible financial situation you three are currently in, and life will get better for you. – Elias Bruyndoncx, Brugge, Belgium"
Dustin smiled at that. "Thanks for your letter, Elias. I appreciate the sentiment, and I wish I could've seen sooner that Miles was using me." He spoke to the camera.
"I don't." Blaineley smirked as she picked up the next letter. "This next letter's for Tessa." She said.
"Who's it from?" Tessa asked curiously.
Blaineley began to read the letter. "Dear Tessa, I heard about your lack of funds for your nomadic lifestyle, so my whole neighborhood and I began to raise funds by holding a Monopoly marathon at our local pub, and we managed to raise a total of $1000, which I've included with this letter. Hopefully you'll be able to find some use for it. – Caroline Goggins, Curdsville, Virginia, USA" She then then proceeded to hand Tessa the $1000 included with the letter.
Tessa smiled as she held the $1000 in her hands. "Thanks for the $1000, Miss Caroline. Thanks to everyone in your neighborhood and everyone who donated as well. My new travel fund is getting bigger and bigger with every donation I get here on the Aftermath." She spoke to the camera.
Alexneushoorn smiled and picked up the next letter. "This one's for you, Grayson." He told the motocross lover.
"I wonder if it has to do with that big package..." Grayson wondered out loud.
Alexneushoorn began to read the letter. "What's up, Gray? I'm sending you this care package from back home: Your favorite motocross helmet you use for competitions back home! When I saw you found a dirt bike to ride around on during your time at Playa Des Losers, I just knew I had to send it to you! Enjoy, Gray, and hopefully we'll be able to hang out again soon! – Your best friend, Brandon McCallister"
Grayson gasped happily at that. "He sent me my favorite motocross helmet? Gimme, gimme, gimme!" The motocross lover exclaimed.
Alexneushoorn chuckled as he stood up and handed the package to Grayson, who immediately opened it to find his favorite motocross helmet in there. "Wow, he really did send it." Hana said, quite impressed.
"So Brandon's your best friend?" Dustin asked Grayson curiously.
"Yeah, we've known each other since we were kids. Brandon is a mechanic and the one who got me into motocross in the first place." Grayson replied with a smile before looking at the camera. "Brandon, thank you so much for sending me this! I'll be sure to repay you the favor some time!" He beamed.
Blaineley chuckled at Grayson's happiness before picking up the next letter. "This one's for Sasha." She said with a smile.
"W-W-Who is it from...?" Sasha asked as her eyes slightly widened.
Blaineley began to read the letter. "Dear Sasha, I wrote you this letter to let you know that despite your early elimination from Total Drama Island, that doesn't mean you're weak. You're actually very strong, as you were selected out of hundreds, maybe even thousands of applications for Total Drama Island. That says a lot about how strong you are. You were there. You were one of the 24 contestants who competed on Total Drama Island. That makes you a very strong young woman, don't forget that. – Gerda Rust, Putgarten, Germany"
Sasha had a bright smile on her face from those words. "T-T-Thank you, M-Mrs. Rust...I-I really appreciate the k-kind words, and I'll definitely take them to h-heart..." She said to the camera.
"Awwww..." Alexneushoorn smiled before picking up the next letter. "This one's for Oliver." He said.
"I wonder who it could be from." Oliver wondered out loud.
Alexneushoorn began reading the letter. "Dear Oliver, I'm sending you this letter because I've got a question for you: Have you ever played the board game Clue? If so, how many times have you won at that game? – Daryl Tomlinson, Twycross, Leicestershire, England"
"Thank you for your letter, Daryl. And to answer your question, yes, I have played Clue many, many times before in my life. And I've won every single game of Clue I've ever played. In fact, I've won so many games of Clue that I got my photograph in the local newspaper because of it one time. Hopefully that answers your question." Oliver spoke to the camera.
Blaineley nodded before picking up the next letter. "This one's for you, Hana." She told the Judoka.
"Who could it be from?" Hana wondered out loud.
Blaineley began to read the letter. "Dear Hana, my father's an artist, and he stayed up all night to sketch this artwork of you as Bruce Lee in his unfinished movie, Game of Death. He asked me to mail it to you, and he hopes you like it. – Asako Kazamatsuri, Tottori, Japan" Blaineley then proceeded to hand the drawing to Hana.
Hana was quite impressed with the drawing, showing her in Bruce Lee's tracksuit from his unfinished movie, Game of Death. "Many thanks to you father, Asako-san. It is a beautiful work of art. It will be going up on my bedroom wall back home, for certain." Hana then spoke to the camera with a smile.
"Alright, final letter of the night, because we're running low on time." Alexneushoorn spoke before picking up the final letter. "This one's for you, Aston." He told the OCD.
"Who could it be from?" Aston asked.
"Let's see..." Alexneushoorn replied before he began to read the letter. "G'day, Aston! Even though you were the first contestant eliminated from Total Drama Island, you've grown to become my favorite former contestant currently at Playa Des Losers. It's nice to see that despite your OCD, you're trying to engage in as much activities with the other eliminated contestants at Playa Des Losers as you can. That says a lot about you in my eyes. Keep up the good work, mate! – Victor Pankhurst, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia"
Aston smiled at those words. "Thank you very much for your letter, Mr. Victor. I really appreciate them." He simply said to the camera.
"And with that, we've come to the end of this episode of Total Drama Aftermath! We would like to thank Socorro for joining us here tonight, and we would like to thank everyone in the peanut gallery for giving their thoughts on tonight's episode and providing any additional content!" Alexneushoorn announced.
"Anytime, Mr. Alexneushoorn." Aston nodded.
"It was my pleasure to be here once again." Hana chimed in.
"Not at all." Oliver shrugged.
"Y-Y-You're always welcome..." Sasha replied with a small shy smile.
"No problem." Grayson said with a grin as he shot Alexneushoorn a pair of finger guns.
"I'll be here all summer until this show's over." Tessa remarked.
"It was fun being here for another Aftermath." Dustin smiled.
"It sure was!" Victoria beamed.
"Yep." Johan simply replied.
"So the Aftermath's over now?" Socorro asked the Aftermath hosts.
"Yep. Head on inside. Your ostriches can stay with you here at Playa Des Losers for the rest of the summer as well." Blaineley smiled.
"You hear that, guys? You get to stay with me at Playa Des Losers as well!" Socorro cheered as Victor, Judy and Lionel happily squawked, and the four of them got up and entered the mansion.
"And for anyone left watching, we'll see you next time on Total Drama Aftermath!" Alexneushoorn finished as him and Blaineley parted with a wave and the next episode of Total Drama Aftermath ended.
And that's it for Episode 11 of the Aftermath! Special thanks to Thunderstrike16 and Obsidian Champion for helping me write Grayson and Dustin for the Aftermath, and special thanks to Fritz Electroscreech for giving me suggestions for the Brooke's Breakdown segment! Your suggestions are always appreciated!
For this Aftermath's Viewer's Vote, you get to decide which team gets to enjoy a photo shoot with Chris and Chef after the challenge! Will the Screaming Gophers get to enjoy snapshots of themselves in nice clothes? Or will the Killer Bass get to dress to impress the photographers? You decide! As always, I'll only be accepting votes through PM, and the team with the most votes by the time I start writing the next episode will win the reward!
