The next episode of Total Drama Aftermath was about to begin. The letters T, D and I appeared on the screen with the word "Aftermath" appearing underneath. The camera then proceeded to zoom in on Alexneushoorn and Blaineley sitting on the brown leather couch by the pool at the Playa Des Losers mansion. Alexneushoorn and Blaineley were both wearing a different outfit for this episode of Total Drama Aftermath: Alexneushoorn wore a brown checkered suit with a red tie and brown loafers while Blaineley wore a blue dress that exposed her shoulders and part of her back along with blue pumps, a white beady bracelet on her left wrist, white earrings and a sapphire necklace. Aston once again sat in the first seat of the bottom row of the peanut gallery, Hana sat next to Aston, Oliver sat next to Hana, Sasha sat next to Oliver, Grayson sat next to Sasha, Tessa sat next to Grayson, Dustin sat next to Tessa, Victoria sat next to Dustin, Johan sat in the first seat in the second row of the peanut gallery and Socorro sat next to Johan. The ostriches were sitting in front of the peanut gallery.
"Welcome back to Total Drama Aftermath, people!" Blaineley began with an optimistic smile.
"This episode gave a lot of screen time to Camp Wawanakwa's chef, Chef Hatchet, or as he was known as in this episode: Master Chief Hatchet!" Alexneushoorn chimed in with an equally optimistic smile.
"Yep! He gave the 14 remaining campers a run for their money by putting them through his disgusting and dangerous boot camp challenges! Finally, we got something exciting for a challenge after all of the more easy going challenges we've had in the last few episodes! And we got to see a whole bunch of pranking from our prankster couple, Kennedy and Mason!" Blaineley continued.
"Kennedy and Mason were certainly made for each other, it seems. They are just birds of a feather when it comes to their pranks, their generally upbeat attitude, and so on. They're just the perfect couple in my eyes." Aston spoke up from the peanut gallery.
"Indeed. They are quite the match on a romantic scale, and it warms my heart to see such perfectly matched romance bloom on a show such as this one." Hana chimed in her agreement.
"It certainly is, you two." Blaineley nodded her agreement to Aston and Hana before turning her attention back to the camera. "Of course, not everyone could laugh as much about Kennedy and Mason's pranks as they did, because they went a bit overboard with the pranks, netting Kennedy not only a night of solitary confinement in the scary boat house, but also a one way trip down the Dock of Shame after Lester cried bloody murder and got the Killer Bass to vote Kennedy off the island." She continued.
"I always knew there was something off about that Lester chap. I could read him as being more than meets the eye during our time on the island, but if I were to tell the Killer Bass about it, I'm certain they wouldn't believe me. But I'm sure all competitors left in the game will learn about Lester's true colors on their own time." Oliver spoke up from the peanut gallery.
Sasha shyly nodded. "Y-Y-Yeah...W-W-What Lester did to K-K-Kennedy wasn't very n-n-nice..." She said as she shyly rubbed her left arm with her right hand.
"Yeah, I feel bad for Kennedy for getting voted off because of that deceptive little weasel Lester crying bloody murder at Mason and Kennedy's pranks and using his innocent façade to get the Killer Bass to side with him." Grayson then spoke with a scowl on his face.
"I can't believe that little rascal tricked every single one of us with that innocent façade of his. That explains why he dressed like such a dork: He was baiting us to ridicule him so he could play the victim and get his bullies in trouble." Tessa chimed in with a scowl equal to that of Grayson.
"While it was scummy of Lester to get Kennedy eliminated from the game the way he did, Mason and Kennedy were setting themselves up for elimination by going overboard with the pranking. Now that Lester has been revealed as another villain, it's definitely going to get crowded with villains once the next phase of the competition hits, since I doubt that the teams will be around forever. Personally, I'm really hoping that Miles will be eliminated next episode, even though I doubt it will happen. I'm still really mad that he used as nothing but a pawn in his scheme, no pun intended." Dustin continued.
"I have to agree with Dustin. Sure, it wasn't very nice of Lester to do what he did to Kennedy here, but Kennedy kinda had it coming with the way she was going overboard with the pranks. I honestly wonder if she came to regret going overboard with the pranking..." Victoria wondered out loud.
"Lester may look as innocent as a newborn puppy, but underneath that exterior, he's meaner than a junkyard dog. He's definitely someone the other competitors are going to have to watch out for in the next phase of the competition." Johan shared his views on the matter.
"I knew something wasn't right about Lester. I just couldn't put my finger on what it was, but I guess the mask has now fallen." Socorro concluded, with the ostriches squawking in agreement.
"Alright, thanks for your commentary." Blaineley told the eliminated campers in the peanut gallery before turning her attention back to the camera. "Kennedy is currently on her way to Playa Des Losers, so while we wait for her to arrive here, let's take a look at what our reality show has beens have been up to here at Playa Des Losers today!" She announced as the tv behind her and Alexneushoorn lit up to show the day's events.
-Confessional: Socorro, Victor, Judy and Lionel-
"Well, today's my first day at this beautiful resort after my elimination from Total Drama Island. I've seen 100 grand slip through my fingers, and I've most likely disappointed my family in front of the whole world on television, but at least I have something that no amount of money can put a prize on: Three best friends." Socorro spoke with a smile as he hugged his ostriches, who happily squawked in response.
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Johan-
"So last night a member of the Killer Bass arrived here at Playa Des Losers, that member being Socorro, as well as his pet ostriches. I'm not sure how to feel about Socorro, since we didn't really interact with each other during our time on the island, but he should be an interesting guy to interact with. Him and his ostriches seem like the type who enjoy music, so this should be fun."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Victoria-
"After three Screaming Gopher eliminatees, we had a Killer Bass eliminatee arrive here at Playa Des Losers last night. Socorro seems like a fun guy to be around. Not to mention, his pet ostriches are adorable. I'm honestly just worried that they're going to be eating all the food from the outdoor grill and the kitchen, since their gluttony is what got Socorro out of the game..."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Dustin-
"So now we have Socorro and his pet ostriches here with us at Playa Des Losers. I honestly still find it strange that Socorro has those ostriches around him the whole time, but seeing as they're his pets and have been of assistance to the Killer Bass up until the cooking challenge, I don't blame Socorro for having them around. I should try and hang with Socorro a bit at the Playa today. I'm sure he'd appreciate making some new friends."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Tessa-
"It's honestly sad Socorro got booted from the game because of his pet ostriches. I'm sure he would've made it to the next phase of the competition if it weren't for those ostriches, even if Socorro doesn't think so. But hey, if Socorro's happy, everything's good, am I right?"
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Grayson-
"Another Killer Bass arrival at the Playa last night. This time, it was Socorro. Despite his assurances that he's happy, I can't help but feel that Socorro is upset about the whole situation inside, so I'm gonna try and provide him with some comfort when I get a chance today."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Sasha-
"S-S-Since Socorro and I were on d-d-different teams during our time on the i-i-island, I'm not sure how to...f-f-feel about his arrival at Playa Des Losers l-l-last night..." Sasha admitted as she shyly rubbed her neck with her fingers. "He does seem n-n-nice enough, s-s-so...He should be easy to get along with...R-R-Right...?"
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Oliver-
"Losing the game because of a family of pea brained beasts. If it was up to me, I would've had those ostriches eliminated from the game for causing the Killer Bass to lose the challenge. But unfortunately, I'm not the one in charge of this show, so it's not my call to make."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Hana-
"Socorro's journey on Total Drama Island came to an unfortunate end the other night when he let his beloved pet ostriches supervise the three course meal that the Killer Bass were supposed to serve to Chris for the challenge. If this show ends up getting renewed for future seasons, I want to give the future contestants a word of advice for a future cooking challenge: Do not ask someone to guard the food. They will almost always certainly eat it."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Aston-
"I knew that Socorro would be eliminated sooner or later, but surprisingly, it's not because of his need to control a situation, but because of his pet ostriches eating the three course meal that the Killer Bass were supposed to be serving to Chris. Guess this game can be very unpredictable, which is another reason I'm not really a huge fan of it."
-End Confessional-
The scene then cut to Grayson and Hana at the beach, where Hana was watching Grayson riding his dirt bike while wearing his favorite motocross helmet his best friend Brandon sent him during the previous Aftermath episode. Eventually, Grayson came to a stop and stepped off his dirt bike, taking off his motocross helmet.
"Man, I'm still so happy that Brandon sent me my favorite motocross helmet as a care package from back home! This is gonna make riding this dirt bike around all summer so much sweeter!" Grayson exclaimed with a grin.
Hana smiled at that. "Brandon seems like an interesting individual. What is he like?" She asked Grayson curiously.
"Well, Brandon is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to fixing things, and he likes to take his time, and while it does get a little annoying at times, the end result is always good. He's always managed to restore my bikes to perfect working condition after they get wrecked during a competition or just casual riding. Brandon's also going to inherit his dad's auto shop when he's older, but for now, he's planning to go to college with an engineering or mechanics degree." Grayson told Hana with a smile.
Hana smiled once more. "I'm certain I would've liked Brandon if we were to meet back in the real world." She replied to the motocross lover.
Grayson chuckled at that. "I'm sure there's people from your circle that I would've liked if we were to meet back in the real world as well." He remarked with a smile.
Hana giggled a little bit at that. "Yeah, I'm sure there are." She smiled once more.
The scene then cut to Socorro, his ostriches, Victoria, Sasha and Aston outside by the pool. Socorro was preparing some food for Victor, Judy and Lionel on the outdoor grill while Victoria, Sasha and Aston were in the pool. Sasha had a swimming tube on due to her inability to swim.
"Those ostriches of yours weren't stuffed after eating the Killer Bass' three course meal, weren't they, Socorro?" Victoria asked Socorro with a slight giggle.
Socorro shook his head. "Apparently not. That's why I'm making them some food right now." He replied.
"I don't t-t-think it's nice to make j-j-jokes at Socorro's e-e-expense, V-V-Victoria..." Sasha told the optimist with a frown on her face.
"Don't worry about it, Sasha. I can take it." Socorro assured her as he continued to prepare food for the ostriches.
"O-O-Okay...If you s-s-say so..." Sasha replied.
"I wonder what the campers back at Camp Wawanakwa are up to today..." Aston wondered out loud.
"Most likely they're going through a challenge right now. I wonder what Chris has in store for them today..." Socorro wondered out loud as well.
"Well, there's only one way to find that out: Watch tonight's episode of Total Drama Island!" Victoria chimed in with a beaming smile.
"Y-Y-Yeah...W-W-What Victoria said..." Sasha shyly agreed.
The scene then cut to Dustin playing chess against Grayson in his room. "Thanks for joining me for another game of chess, Gray. I'm trying to prepare to beat Oliver in a game of chess after I lost to him the other day." Dustin told Grayson with a smile.
"Anytime, Dustin. I'd be happy to help you prepare for your next game against Oliver." Grayson replied with a smile of his own as the motocross lover made his next move on the chess board. The footage was then sped up as the chess game went on for a while, but eventually, Dustin managed to beat Grayson, and the mathematician raised his arms in victory.
"Alright, I did it!" Dustin cheered.
"Great job, Dustin. Keep practicing until you're ready. You'll get Oliver soon." Grayson told Dustin with a smile.
"I'll do my best." Dustin nodded before the scene cut to Hana, Oliver, Tessa and Johan eating in the kitchen. Hana was having a plate filled with sushi and a cup of oolong tea, Oliver was having a sandwich with mayonnaise, meat and lettuce and a glass of milk, Tessa was having a cheese pizza with a glass of cola and Johan was having some strawberry shortcake and a glass of grape juice.
"Hey, guys. Do you have any words you live your life by?" Johan then curiously asked the other eliminated campers at the dining table.
""A true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength, but by the size of his heart."" Hana spoke before continuing to eat.
""Always have a Plan B. Don't get fooled."" Oliver spoke before continuing to eat.
""Life is like a highway full of adventure and opportunity, so seek out that adventure and opportunity while you're young."" Tessa spoke before continuing to eat.
"What about you, Johan-san? Do you have any words you live your life by?" Hana then asked Johan.
"Well, mine would be "He who is tired of music is tired of life."" Johan replied before continuing to eat.
Hana, Oliver and Tessa nodded at that. "You guys sure have the most interesting ways of striking up a conversation. Another reason why I'm glad I joined this show." Tessa said with a smile.
"Same here. This show has taught me to not always spend my time training my Judo skills. Thanks to this show, I've learned to slow down and enjoy life at times." Hana agreed.
"This show has taught me the importance of social contacts, which I'm rather grateful for. It's certainly a life lesson I never thought I would learn on this show, but again, it's a life lesson I'm rather grateful for." Oliver chimed in.
"This show has taught me that you can overcome anything, which I'm also rather grateful for. Thanks to people like Sybil and Victoria, I've managed to overcome my writer's block, and now I can write music again like I used to." Johan added.
"I don't think there's anything this show has taught me, but I'm still grateful for the experience nonetheless." Tessa concluded as the four campers continued to eat.
The scene then cut to Socorro, Sasha and Dustin inside the game room. Socorro and Dustin were playing at the foosball table while Sasha was playing the crane game. "Hey, Socorro. Where's those ostrich buddies of yours?" Dustin asked Socorro as the two played at the foosball table.
"They're in my room, taking a nap. After all that grilled food I fed them earlier today, they were pooped, so they're just taking a nap in my room." Socorro replied to him.
"W-W-Well, you d-d-did feed them quite a lot of g-g-grilled food earlier today, so it makes s-s-sense they were p-p-pooped afterwards..." Sasha chimed in as she turned to look at Socorro and Dustin.
"Yep. Those ostriches may have a tiny brain, but they sure have a big stomach." Dustin chuckled as him and Socorro continued playing at the foosball table.
"Yep. But I still love them regardless." Socorro smiled as the game at the foosball table continued, while Sasha continued trying to get a stuffed purple rabbit that was inside the crane game.
The scene then cut to Grayson and Hana sitting on the large curvy couch in the lobby, watching a movie together. "This sure is a great movie, Hana. Thanks for selecting it." Grayson told Hana with a smile as he ate some popcorn from a bag that him and the Judoka were sharing together.
Hana smiled at Grayson. "Anytime, Grayson-san. I figured this movie would be something you enjoy, and I'm glad I was proven right." She told the motocross lover as she also ate some popcorn.
"I wonder how Cammie is doing right now..." Grayson then wondered out loud.
"I'm certain she's doing just fine on the island right now. Cameron would probably appreciated you're thinking about her, but she would also rather not have you worry about her so much." Hana replied to him.
Grayson nodded at that. "I know, I know. But I just can't help but wonder when she will be eliminated from the show, or if she will be eliminated at all. For all I know, she could be eliminated tonight and then we'll be expecting her at the aftershow." He replied.
"Cameron is a strong individual, Grayson. I'm certain she can handle things back on the island." Hana assured him before they went back to watching the movie.
The scene then cut to Aston and Dustin sitting in Dustin's room, playing a game of chess. "Thanks for joining me for another game of chess, Aston. I really appreciate it." Dustin told Aston with a smile as he made his move on the chess board.
Aston smiled back and nodded. "Anytime, Dustin. After Grayson told me you were preparing for a rematch against Oliver, I just knew I had to help you practice." The OCD replied as he made his move on the chess board as well.
"Yeah. I'm sure that if I keep practicing, I can beat Oliver sooner or later." Dustin said with a confident smile before the footage was sped up, as the game went on for a while before the game eventually ended with Dustin winning.
"There we go! I win again!" Dustin said with a happy grin as he raised his arms in victory.
"Congratulations, Dustin. You're one step closer to getting that practice done for your rematch with Oliver." Aston said with a smile.
"Yeah. Thanks again for helping me practice today, Aston. I really do appreciate it." Dustin replied.
"I was happy to help." Aston smiled once more.
The scene then proceeded to cut to Oliver, Tessa and Socorro inside the gym, where Socorro was giving Oliver and Tessa a gymnastics session together with his ostriches. "Alright, guys. Just follow my lead, and you'll be losing all that weight you've put on from all the delicious food at this place in no time." Socorro told Oliver and Tessa with a smile.
"I can't believe I'm participating in this, but I might as well if I wanna prevent becoming a misfit amongst the people here." Oliver shrugged.
"Trust me, Oliver. It'll be fun." Tessa assured the British detective with a smile.
"Alright, here's how it'll work: Victor, Judy and Lionel in that order will each give a 1, 2, 3 squawk, and then you have to copy my moves, got it?" Socorro asked Oliver and Tessa.
"Seems easy enough." Oliver nodded.
"Ready when you are." Tessa smiled.
"Alright, here we go!" Socorro said as the gymnastics session began. The footage was once again sped up as the gymnastics session went on for a while.
The scene then cut to Dustin and Victoria sitting inside the sauna in the wellness center together. "Thanks for joining me in the sauna today, Dustin! Back home, I don't go into saunas alone with a boy that often!" Victoria beamed at Dustin.
Dustin chuckled. "I'm assuming that's because of your dad not liking it when you do that?" He asked.
Victoria giggled. "Yep! Typical dad being protective around his daughter's involvement with boys kind of stuff!" She replied with a smile.
"Well, if he ever ends up watching this, he can rest assured that I wouldn't dream of doing anything malicious to you in a sauna. I wouldn't want to go through life with such a heinous act on my conscience." Dustin told her with a smile.
"Awwww, thanks, Dustin! You're such a sweetheart!" Victoria replied as she hugged the mathematician and buried her face into his shoulder, causing him to blush a bit.
The scene then cut to Grayson sitting in the hot tub by the pool together with Socorro and his ostriches. "Hey, Socorro. Are you alright after what happened during that cooking challenge the other day?" Grayson asked the Type-A perfectionist in a concerned tone of voice.
Socorro nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine, Gray. I appreciate the concern for my emotional health, but I've already accepted my fate in the game. I'm happy with the place I finished in, and I've departed from Camp Wawanakwa with three new best friends." He assured the motocross lover as he gestured to Victor, Judy and Lionel, who all squawked with a smile in response.
"Alright. I was just wondering if you were hurt by Melissa's treatment towards you after the challenge." Grayson told Socorro.
"Yeah, it did hurt a little bit, but she had her reasons for it, so I'm not too mad about it." Socorro assured him.
"Alright then." Grayson nodded.
The scene then cut to the roof terrace, where Johan was posing for a painting that Tessa was making of him. "Thanks for being my model for this painting, Johan. I was just itching to get around to painting another one of my fellow eliminated campers." Tessa told the musician with a smile as she continued to paint.
"Anytime, Tessa. Grayson told me you're really talented, so I wanted to see for myself." Johan smiled back.
"Alright. Well, I'm sure you're gonna love it. It's done." Tessa told him as she proceeded to show the painting she made of Johan. He was holding his guitar on the painting, and it looked really good.
Johan was impressed. "Wow, Grayson was right! That's really good! Do you think I could take this home once the show's over?" He asked Tessa with a smile.
Tessa smiled and nodded. "Of course! Anyone can take the paintings I make of them home once the show's over! Think of it as a little reminder of me!" She beamed.
"Alright, thanks, Tess. I appreciate it." Johan smiled once more.
The scene then cut to Dustin playing chess against Socorro in his room. "Thanks for joining me for a game of chess today, Socorro." Dustin told Socorro with a smile.
Socorro smiled and nodded. "Anytime, Dustin. Aston and Grayson told me that you were preparing for a rematch against Oliver, so I just knew I had to help you prepare." He replied as he made his move on the chess board.
"Yeah. I just can't wait to see that smugness get wiped off his face once I win that rematch." Dustin chuckled as he also made his move on the chess board. The footage was sped up once more as the chess game went on for a while, but Dustin eventually managed to win his third chess game of the day.
"I did again!" Dustin cheered as he raised his arms in victory once more.
Socorro smiled and clapped for Dustin. "Good job, dude! If you keep practicing like this, I'm sure you'll be able to beat Oliver soon enough!" He beamed.
Finally, the scene cut to the eliminated campers sitting in the lobby together to watch the latest episode of Total Drama Island, and they saw how Kennedy was eliminated.
"Oh no, Kennedy was eliminated! That's a shame, she was really nice!" Aston said with an upset look on his face.
"That Lester is a deceptive one, for certain. He's much like a kitsune." Hana remarked with a serious look on her face.
"Don't worry, because that little bastard will get his comeuppance sooner or later." Oliver assured her as he had an equally serious look on his face.
"Y-Y-Yeah...I especially feel bad for M-M-Mason, since his girlfriend is now out of the game..." Sasha chimed in with an upset look on her face.
"That deceptive little weasel is so painfully dead when he gets here!" Grayson said with a scowl on his face.
"I can't believe he had us all tricked like that!" Tessa scowled as well.
"I agree it's sad that Kennedy went out, but she and Mason kinda had it coming by going overboard with the pranking." Dustin gave his opinion on the matter.
"Yeah...But that still makes Kennedy's elimination a sad one." Victoria replied to him.
"Well, at least we get to enjoy her at Playa Des Losers once she gets here, if that's any consolation." Johan remarked.
"Yeah. I'm sure she'll bring a lot of joy to us here at Playa Des Losers." Socorro agreed, with his ostriches nodding in agreement as well. The tv screen then went off again.
"It seems like Dustin has a crush on Victoria, and I can't help but find that cute!" Alexneushoorn beamed with puppy dog eyes as Dustin and Victoria both blushed.
"I'm gonna have to agree with Alexneushoorn there, guys. You guys are a cute couple." Tessa told the mathematician and the optimist with a chuckle.
Oliver smirked and nodded in agreement. "I can't wait to see them kiss." He chuckled as Dustin and Victoria blushed even more.
Blaineley chuckled as well before turning her attention back to the camera. "Anyway, with all of that out of the way, let's welcome tonight's eliminated camper! It's Kennedy!" The blond haired host announced as Kennedy entered the scene from the right side, and she walked over to the brown leather chair in between Alexneushoorn and Blaineley's couch and the peanut gallery and sat down in it.
"Hey, Kennedy! Welcome to Total Drama Aftermath!" Alexneushoorn greeted Kennedy with a smile, and he high fived the prankster only to get shocked by a joy buzzer she was wearing on the hand she high fived him with. "Ah! Good one!" He chuckled.
Kennedy giggled a little bit. "Thanks! I'm happy to be here tonight, even though I'm out of the game now!" She replied.
"Yep, you're indeed out of the game because of you and Mason pulling that prank on Lester. And it turns out that Lester wasn't as innocent as he makes himself out to be." Blaineley told her.
Kennedy curiously tilted her head. "...Huh? What do you mean?" She asked in a confused tone of voice.
"Take a look at this confessional Lester recorded after the campfire ceremony." Alexneushoorn told her as the tv screen behind him and Blaineley lit up to show said confessional.
-Confessional: Lester-
Lester evily smirked at the camera. "Hehehe, suckers. That's what you get for pulling all those pranks on me today. Prank me once, shame on me. Prank me twice, shame on you. Prank me thrice, I'll get you out of the game. See, that's why I dress like such a dork: I need to bait people into bullying me so that I can play the victim and get the bully into trouble. Same thing goes for pranksters like Mason and Kennedy. Once I was fed up with their pranks, I decided to cry as loudly as I could so that the rest of our team would hate them and one of them would get the boot at the campfire. After all, nobody suspects the innocent, nerdy and dorky kid. And that, my friends, is how you manipulate the bigger kids to get the other bigger kids in trouble." The short teen spoke, revealing his true colors.
-End Confessional-
Kennedy gasped in shock, and she fumed. "What a jerk! Crying bloody murder and using your innocent façade to your advantage to get the rest of the Killer Bass to side with you..." She said as she crossed her arms.
"Yep, it must really hurt that he besmirched the reputation of Mason and yourself after the two of you besmirched him in chicken wear." Blaineley chuckled as Alexneushoorn rolled his eyes.
"Yep..." Kennedy exhaled deeply. "But I gotta hand it to him: He's quite the little mastermind to use such an innocent façade to advance further into the game." She then admitted.
"That he is, Kennedy. That he is. Anyway, our viewers back home have left a few questions on our Total Drama Hotline. Would you like to answer them?" Alexneushoorn then asked Kennedy.
A smile made its way back onto Kennedy's face. "Of course!" She beamed.
Alexneushoorn and Blaineley nodded at that. "Alright, let's take a look at what the viewers back home left for you..." Alexneushoorn said as he looked at the tv screen behind him and Blaineley. "Fritz Electroscreech wants to know: Did you ever have a prank that went too far before you joined the show? What was your first prank?" He then asked Kennedy.
Kennedy thought about it. "Well, there was this one time where I was at a McDonald's restaurant, and I put a fake roach inside a customer's burger to prank him, and he ended up getting sick to his stomach, but it didn't stop there. He ended up suing the McDonald's restaurant, and they ended up shutting down because of the incident, and I felt really bad about it afterwards. As for what my first prank was, that was when I put a rubber band on the kitchen sink, and my sister ended up getting sprayed because of it. I still have fond memories of my first prank." She giggled.
Alexneushoorn and Blaineley nodded. "Alright, before we move on to the next question for Kennedy, Fritz Electroscreech also has a couple of questions for you, Blaineley," Alexneushoorn told his co-host.
"Well, as long as they're not questions asked to make fun of me or make me look bad, I say: Ask away." Blaineley replied.
"Alright, Fritz Electroscreech wants to know: Why do you prefer that red dress? Has anyone mistaken you for Pamela Anderson? How do you stay in shape?" Alexneushoorn asked her.
"Well, the reason I prefer that red dress is because it was the first dress that Olivia Sachs has made for me, and I have gotten a lot of good luck in my life while wearing it, hence why I prefer it. And yes, I have been mistaken for Pamela Anderson before in the past. One time, I was out walking my poodle in Toronto, Ontario when I ran into some Pamela Anderson fans who wanted her autograph, and I decided to pull a little prank on them by pretending to be Pamela Anderson and gave those people my own autograph. The fans later discovered I wasn't Pamela Anderson and it turned into a celebrity drama, and a lot of people hated me for causing the drama, but I didn't care. I loved watching the drama unfold. As for how I stay in shape, when I'm not at work, I go to the gym for three hours every day and try to work off any fat I may have gained during the day. It's not easy being a celebrity at times." Blaineley explained.
"Alright, now time to move on to our surprisingly final question of the night, which is for Kennedy. Thunderstrike16 wants to know: Any hard feelings towards Lester for what he did?" Alexneushoorn asked Kennedy.
"Well, yes and no. Yes, I am upset that he got me out of the game, but I also have myself to blame for it because me and Mason went overboard with the pranking. I mean, Chef locked me up in solitary confinement in a boathouse because of all the pranks we pulled on him. While pranks are funny, I learned today that I need to know when to quit." Kennedy replied.
"Alright, that's surprisingly all the questions we had on the Total Drama Hotline tonight! Time to move on to our next segment: The Best of Total Drama Island, where you, the viewers back home can relive the best and worst moments of tonight's episode of Total Drama Island!" Blaineley announced.
Alexneushoorn nodded in agreement. "Melissa was feeling in the dumps for a bit because she felt that some of the campers on the Killer Bass were mad at her for how she treated Socorro the other night, and despite Regina's protests, Nathan went to go comfort his girlfriend, something that you viewers back home seemed to show appreciation for. Let's take a look." He said before the tv screen lit up to show the clip.
As Melissa was walking away from her team's cabin, Nathan caught up to her and began walk next to her. "Hey, Mel. You okay?" Nathan asked Melissa as they walked.
Melissa sighed. "Not really...I get the feeling that some of the other people on our team are mad at me because of how mean I was to Socorro the other night..." She admitted.
Nathan nodded at that, putting an arm around Melissa's neck. "Yeah, that harsh treatment towards Socorro was uncalled for, but I'm sure that despite them being mad at you for it, they'll be able to put it aside and work with you to try and win this next challenge. I'm sure that's what Socorro would have wanted them to do." He told his girlfriend with a reassuring smile.
Melissa smiled at that. "Thanks, Nate. That's exactly what I needed. Thanks for the sweet words." She told her boyfriend before kissing his cheek.
Nathan chuckled at that as he hugged Melissa. "Anytime, baby. Anything to make you feel better." He told Melissa with a smile before the camp speakers screeched, indicating the next challenge was going to be announced.
"Nathan certainly is one lovable guy." Aston remarked with a smile.
"Tell me about it." Grayson replied with a grin.
"Moving on to the next clip! A lot of viewers seemed to enjoy Mason and Kennedy pranking Chef to the point where Chef lost his cool and gave Kennedy a night of solitary confinement in the boathouse, not because of Kennedy getting a night of solitary confinement, but because of Chef losing his cool! Let's take a look!" Blaineley continued as the next clip began to play.
Mason and Kennedy snickered quietly before Kennedy proceeded to toss a bunch of marbles in Chef's direction. "I need to use the john, so I'll be right back. And if any of you are not doing push-ups by the time I get back, your asses will be sorry as well." Chef warned before standing up from his folding chair and slipping on the marbles Kennedy threw, landing on the ground with a thud.
Mason and Kennedy struggled to contain their laughter as Chef got back up on his feet, holding a bunch of marbles in his right hand. "A'ight! Which one of you sons of bitches threw marbles in front of my feet?! Speak up before I get really fucking mad!" Chef shouted as Kennedy stood up onto her feet.
"I did, sir!" Kennedy giggled as she quivered from hyperactivity once more.
"Will you knock it the hell off with the pranks, soldier?! There's no place for pranks in warfare, you know?!" Chef asked Kennedy.
"I would, but warfare is no laughing matter, you know? I mean, during a war, there wouldn't be any time to do something like this!" Kennedy giggled as she held up the belt of Chef's pants, causing his pants to drop and revealing he was wearing a pair of pink boxers with red hearts on them, causing the campers to burst out laughing.
Chef, on the other hand, was so mad, that steam was coming out of his ears, causing the campers to get scared. "Uh, Kennedy? I think you might have pushed him too far..." Kylie gulped.
Kennedy looked scared for once as well. "You know what? I think you're right..." She gulped.
"...One night of solitary confinement in the boat house!" Chef said quietly but angrily, causing the campers to gasp.
"A boat house? That doesn't sound too bad." Kennedy smiled before the scene cut to Kennedy inside the boat house, surrounded by scary things. Kennedy frowned as she looked around the boat house. "...Shoot." She simply said.
Kennedy giggled as she was quivering from hyperactivity. "Even though that prank pushed him too far, I still enjoyed pulling it on Chef, and I think Mason enjoyed it as well." She said with a smile.
"It was a pretty good prank for sure." Tessa replied with a smile.
"Y-Y-Yeah...E-Even though C-Chef scared me when he l-lost his c-cool, it was still a f-funny p-prank..." Sasha chimed in with a small shy smile.
"Now let's move on to our final clip! A lot of you viewers enjoyed seeing Chef admit defeat and compliment Valerie after she had survived every single one of his dangerous and disgusting boot camp challenges! I'm pretty sure Valerie's dad, Señor Rodríguez is just brimming with pride from Casa Rodríguez! Let's take a look!" Alexneushoorn announced as the clip began to play.
"Hey!" Chef called as the Gophers proceeded to stop. "Valerie, I just wanted to congratulate you for being the toughest of them all during this boot camp challenge of mine. Your dad may be a shallow son of a bitch for being better at cooking than me, but he raised a young lady to grow up to be as tough as himself, and I can't help but respect that. I would go to war with you any day of the week, soldier. Congratulations." Chef told Valerie as he saluted the Latina with his right hand.
Valerie smiled and saluted Chef back. "Gracias, hombre. I can hear in your voice that you genuinely mean what you say, and that makes me happy as well." She told Chef before the Screaming Gophers continued to run towards camp while carrying Valerie.
"Congratulations..." Chef said again as tears rolled down his cheeks.
-Confessional: Valerie-
Valerie smiled triumphantly at the camera. "What did I tell you? It takes more than what Chef put me through to break me down. The Rodriguez Familia triumphs once again!" She cheered.
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Chef-
Tears continued rolling down Chef's cheeks. "Señor Rodriguez...If you're watching this...You're a great father and have raised a daughter with the strength of a mountain lion and the speed of a jaguar..." Chef tearfully spoke.
-End Confessional-
"Hey, Grayson. Since you have Mexican roots, is it something of a tradition for Mexican dads to raise their daughters to be strong and independent?" Oliver then proceeded to ask Grayson curiously.
Grayson thought about it. "Hm...Not that I know of. But perhaps it's a tradition in Valerie's family. If Valerie's dad ever calls into the aftershow, we should ask him." He replied to Oliver.
"Definitely." Oliver nodded in agreement.
"Alright, that's all of the clips we have for tonight! Now, normally, we would have the Brooke's Breakdown segment at this point of the Aftermath, and I really feel bad about this, but I have a special announcement: The Brooke's Breakdown segment has been cancelled." Blaineley announced.
"Was it because of the shirt pulling Valerie's troublemaking brothers did during the last Brooke's Breakdown segment?" Aston asked Blaineley.
"Well, that and the producers have decided to cancel the segment on request of the network because they thought the segment didn't add much entertainment nor good content to the Aftermath. So instead, we will be having a brand new segment starting with this Aftermath: Johan's Jams!" Blaineley then announced.
Alexneushoorn smiled and nodded. "Yep! In this segment, Johan will be playing a song describing tonight's episode of Total Drama Island from his point of view! So without further ado, take it away, Johan!" The bald headed host told the snarky musician with a smile.
"Thanks, Alexneushoorn." Johan smiled before he got up from the peanut gallery with his guitar and proceeded to sit down on a stool, then began to play his guitar.
"Kiss me goodbye and mail me when I'm gone
Goodbye, my sweetheart
Goodbye, Total Drama Island
The campers have all heard the bugle call
And they knew that it involved them one and all
Chef Hatchet was preparing them for war
And I'm telling the tale playing my guitar
Goodbye, my darling
Goodbye, Total Drama Island
The money's lost
For another player to be won
Kiss me goodbye and mail me when I'm gone
Goodbye, my sweetheart
Goodbye, Total Drama Island
A boat is waiting for me at the dock
My Total Drama adventure has stopped
I have been eliminated by the fire pit
And have been sent to this resort along with the other kids
Goodbye, my darling
Goodbye, Total Drama Island
The money's lost
For another player to be won
Kiss me goodbye and mail me when I'm gone
Goodbye, my sweetheart
Goodbye, Total Drama Island"
As Johan finished playing, he was applauded by Alexneushoorn, Blaineley, Kennedy and the other eliminated campers in the peanut gallery. "I really like how you chose Hello Vietnam by Johnny Wright to describe this episode's events! Very fitting!" Tessa remarked with a smile as she clapped.
"Well, after I heard the song in the movie Full Metal Jacket, I just knew it would be fitting for tonight's episode." Johan chuckled as he sat back down in the peanut gallery.
"Alright, with that out of the way, it's time to move on to our final segment of the night: Epic Mail Time!" Blaineley announced.
"Yep! This is the segment where eliminated campers from Camp Wawanakwa currently here at Playa Des Losers will be receiving letters or weird gifts from fans all around the world! Let's see what Bruce received from all you guys tonight!" Alexneushoorn added as Bruce entered the scene with all the mail he received during the day and put it down on the table in front of Alexneushoorn and Blaineley.
"Here you go." Bruce told the Aftermath hosts before leaving the scene again. Blaineley proceeded to pick up the first letter.
"This first letter is for Aston." Blaineley spoke.
"What does it say, and who is it from?" Aston asked as he raised a curious eyebrow.
Blaineley cleared her throat and began to read the letter. "Dear Aston, I'm mailing you this foam battle axe that I used to use for Live Action Roleplays, but I recently got a new one, so I don't need this one anymore, so it's all yours now. I hope you enjoy! – Lucas Christensen, Helsingborg, Denmark" The blond haired host then proceeded to hand Aston the foam battle axe, and the OCD smiled.
"Wow, thanks a lot, Mr. Lucas! This looks great!" Aston beamed at the camera.
Alexneushoorn smiled as he picked up the next letter. "This one's for Hana." He said.
"Who could it possibly be from?" Hana asked curiously.
Alexneushoorn cleared his throat and began to read the letter. "Dear Hana, even though you were eliminated quite early on in the contest, you've grown to become one of my favorite campers during the Aftermath episodes. I'm still mad that Janson robbed you of a longer run in the game, but I'm grateful that I still get to see you and enjoy you during the Aftermath episodes. Keep it up over there at Playa Des Losers. I'll be rooting for you all the way. – Sietske Postma, Moddergat, The Netherlands"
Hana smiled at those kind words. "Arigato for the kind words, Sietske-san. I'm glad to have built up a fanbase during my short lived run on Total Drama Island." She spoke to the camera.
Blaineley rolled her eyes and picked up the next letter. "This next one's for Oliver." She said.
"Who sent it to me?" Oliver asked curiously.
Blaineley began to read the letter. "Dear Oliver, I have a question for you. Have you ever watched Doctor Who? If so, what are you thoughts on the 2005 reboot of the show? – Parker Green, Little Rock, Arkansas, USA"
"Well, first of all: Thank you for sending the letter, Parker. Second, I enjoy the 2005 reboot of Doctor Who. David Tennant is quite good at playing The Doctor in my eyes, and I can't wait to see more of him as the series progresses." Oliver told the camera. (Note: This story takes place in 2007, when David Tennant was playing The Doctor on Doctor Who)
Alexneushoorn nodded and proceeded to pick up the next letter. "This next letter's for Sasha." He said.
Sasha's eyes widened slightly. "W-Who could be from...?" She asked.
Alexneushoorn began to read the letter. "Dear Sasha, you've grown to become one of my favorite campers on Total Drama Island despite your short lived run on the show. That's why I'm mailing you this teddy bear as a gift. I hope you like it! – Jessie Tinkler, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada" He then proceeded to hand the teddy bear to Sasha.
Sasha smiled as she looked at the teddy bear, then turned to the camera. "T-T-Thank you for the teddy bear, Mrs. Tinkler...I really a-a-appreciate the thought..." She told the camera.
Blaineley proceeded to pick up the next letter. "This one's for Grayson." She said.
"Take it away." Grayson replied as he gestured for Blaineley to read the letter.
Blaineley nodded and began to read the letter. "Dear Grayson, I have a question for you: Would you say you're more into the mountains or the ocean? – Burt Cooke, Saint Vincent"
Grayson thought about it. "I'd say the mountains. It's just a motocross adventure waiting to happen in my eyes." He replied.
Alexneushoorn nodded and picked up the next letter. "This one's for Tessa." He said.
"I wonder who it's from." Tessa replied.
Alexneushoorn began to read the letter. "Dear Tessa, after you told about your lack of funding for your nomadic lifestyle, me and the boys began raising money by performing as a band at the local farmer's market, and we managed to raise a total of $750 that I've mailed to you along with this letter. I hope it'll be of use in your travels. – Otis Smith, Tucson, Arizona, USA" He then proceeded to hand Tessa the $750 included with the letter.
Tessa smiled as she looked at the money, then turned to the camera. "Thanks for the money, Mr. Otis. I'm sure this'll be of use in my travels." She told the camera.
Blaineley proceeded to pick up the next letter. "This one's for Dustin." She said.
"Who's it from?" Dustin asked as he raised a curious eyebrow.
"Let's find out..." Blaineley replied as she began to read the letter. "Dear Dustin, I'm the owner of a chess team, and I've seen you play a few chess games during your time on Total Drama Aftermath, and I'm sending you this letter to ask you if you would perhaps be interested in coming to Helsinki some time and challenge all of my students in various games of chess. I'm sure you'd have a good chance of beating every single one of my students. – Johannes Koskinen, Helsinki, Finland"
Dustin smiled at that and turned to the camera. "Mr. Koskinen, if you're watching this, know that I accept your invitation of coming to Helsinki and challenging all of your students in various games of chess. That is, once I'm done here with Total Drama Island." He told the camera.
Alexneushoorn proceeded to pick up the next letter. "This next letter's for Victoria." He said.
"Ooh, who could it be from?" Victoria asked with a beaming smile.
Alexneushoorn began to read the next letter. "Dear Victoria, I'm sending you this letter to let you know that you've become one of my favorite contestants on Total Drama Island, and that I was soooo upset when Janson and Miles robbed you of a longer run in the competition, but at least I can continue to enjoy your optimism on Total Drama Aftermath! Keep it up over there! – Winnie Bennett, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia"
Victoria smiled and turned to the camera. "Thanks for your letter, Winnie! I'll be sure to continue to bring joy to people with my optimism here at Playa Des Losers!" She beamed at the camera.
Blaineley rolled her eyes and picked up the next letter. "This next one's for Johan." She said.
"Who's it from?" Johan asked curiously.
"Let's find out." Blaineley replied as she began to read the next letter. "Dear Johan, I'm mailing you this flute from my father's shop because I just love how musically inclined you are. I hope you'll enjoy playing this flute during your stay at Playa Des Losers. – Ahmed Hassan, Beni Mazar, Egypt" She then proceeded to hand the flute included with the letter to Johan.
Johan smiled as he looked at the flute, then turned to the camera. "Thanks for the flute, Ahmed. Be sure to thank your father for the flute as well, since the flute came from his shop." He told the camera.
"Alright, we're down to our final letter of the night, and that final letter's for you, Socorro." Alexneushoorn told Socorro with a smile.
"Who's it from?" The type-A perfectionist asked curiously.
"Let's see..." Alexneushoorn replied as he began to read the letter. "Dear Socorro, I heard that you like Stevie Nicks, so I'm sending you a cd of her collection album, Crystal Visions – The Very Best of Stevie Nicks, along with a cd player so you can listen to her music at Playa Des Losers all summer long. Enjoy! – Spencer Adams, Seattle, Washington, USA" Alexneushoorn then proceeded to hand the cd and cd player to Socorro.
Socorro smiled at his new gifts and then turned to the camera. "Thanks, Mr. Adams! I'll be sure to enjoy listening to this music all summer long!" He beamed at the camera.
"And with that, we've come to the end of tonight's episode of Total Drama Aftermath! We would like to thank Kennedy for joining us here tonight, and we would also like to thank everyone in the peanut gallery for providing commentary and other content for the Aftermath!" Blaineley announced.
"Anytime, Ms. Blaineley." Aston nodded.
"You're welcome." Hana nodded.
"Meh." Oliver shrugged.
"I-I-It was my pleasure..." Sasha shyly nodded.
"It was a really cool Aftermath." Grayson grinned as he shot Blaineley a pair of finger guns.
"Can't wait for the next Aftermath." Tessa smiled.
"Me neither." Dustin smiled.
"I'm sure it's gonna rock!" Victoria beamed.
"I'm gonna start practicing for the next episode of the Johan's Jams segment." Johan remarked.
"I was happy to be here." Socorro smiled.
"So we're done here?" Kennedy asked the Aftermath hosts.
"Mhm! Head on inside, I'm sure you'll like it here!" Alexneushoorn told her.
Kennedy grinned as she looked at the mansion. "Here I come!" She beamed as she got up from her chair and ran into the mansion.
"And for anyone left watching, we'll see you next time on Total Drama Aftermath!" Blaineley finished as she and Alexneushoorn parted with a wave and the next episode of Total Drama Aftermath ended.
And with that, we've come to the end of Episode 12 of Total Drama Aftermath! Sorry for taking so long to release this episode of the Aftermath, but I was waiting on additional reviews on the last chapter, but didn't get a lot of them! Plus, I've been dealing with a bit of writer's block lately and have had a hard time to find the motivation to write anything, but I'm sure it was worth the wait! Special thanks to Thunderstrike16 and Obsidian Champion for giving their approval of my ideas for writing Grayson and Dustin for this episode of the Aftermath! Your input is always appreciated!
For this Aftermath's Viewer's Vote, you get to decide which team gets to read letters from their loved ones back home! Will the Screaming Gophers get to enjoy words of encouragement from the homefront? Or will the Killer Bass get some pep to their step from their friends and family? You decide! As always, I'm only accepting votes through PM, and the team with the most votes by the time I start writing the next episode will win the reward!
Have some review questions!
