The episode opened with Chris on the Dock of Shame. "Last time, on Total Drama Island...The teams were officially dissolved, and it was now every camper for themselves. For their first post-merge challenge, the 12 remaining campers had to play another trivial challenge that involved them standing on diving boards that were mounted to a cliff, above water infested with snapping turtles. One by one, the campers were dropped into the water and snapped up by the snapping turtles until it was down to Melissa and Valerie to duke it out for immunity. Melissa was quicker on the draw to answer the final question than Valerie, netting our athletic nerd immunity for the first post-merge campfire ceremony. Fortunately for Valerie, she managed to win the first post-merge Viewer's Vote and won herself a luxury caravan that she gets to take home at the end of the summer. Knowing very well that they were in the minority, the guys, under the leadership of Janson, forged a guys only alliance. Behind the back of our resident strategist Zane, this guys only alliance managed to vote out the most dangerous player in the game at the time: Valerie. As this Mexican go-getter left the island, she and Chef finally buried the, ha ha...Hatchet and made peace with one another." Chris gave a recap of last episode's events before the scene cut back to him on the Dock of Shame.

"Tonight's episode requires our remaining 11 campers to get down and dirty in a game of lies, deception and trickery that is bound to mentally push them to their snapping point. Which camper will emerge victorious in this challenge? Which camper will win the Viewer's Vote? And which camper will be out of the contest and back on the Dock of Shame by the end of this episode? Find out in tonight's most dramatic campfire ceremony yet, on Total...Drama...Island!" Chris finished as the intro began to play.

Two spotlights rose into the air and were turned on. A camera rose from the ground where a groundhog was lying on while another camera came out of a tree.

Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine.

The camera zoomed across the camp before heading over the edge of the cliff and going underwater to show Kylie swimming there as a shark followed from behind. She then proceeded to bravely kick the shark in the face and swam away as the shark rubbed its snout in pain. The camera proceeded to rise to the surface of the water where Sasha was sitting in a motorboat that she had just fixed with a wrench and gave a small smile to the camera.

You guys are on my mind.

The camera then went into the forest to find Michelle playing a game on her handheld as Tessa was painting her doing this. However, she was soon disturbed by Regina sliding down a tree trunk on a skateboard and hopping over Michelle and Tessa, causing the trestle that Tessa's painting was standing on the collapse and the painting to fall onto her, covering her in paint before she looked at the camera in annoyance.

You asked me what I wanted to be,

The camera continued to follow Regina riding her skateboard through the forest as she passed by Miles, giving him a high five as she did so. Miles grinned as he gave Regina a thumbs up and then ran off into the forest.

And I think the answer is plain to see...

Hana was practicing her Judo moves in an open clearing in the forest. As she did so, she accidentally kicked against a wire which caused a platform in a tree above her to collapse and then a bucket of water fell onto her, soaking her judo gi. Hana was visibly upset as she looked around for any perpetrators before the camera zoomed out to reveal Kennedy and Mason hiding behind a rock, struggling to contain their laughter.

I wanna be famous.

The camera then began following Nathan and Melissa as they were jogging out of the forest and towards camp as they smiled at each other.

I wanna live close to the sun.

The camera then zoomed towards a waterfall where Valerie and Victoria were slap fighting with each other in a canoe which promptly fell off the waterfall with them inside. Socorro was standing on a wooden log and was horrified to see Valerie and Victoria fall down the waterfall, but then the log he was standing on collapsed underneath him as he fell as well.

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won.

The camera then turned to Zane leaning against the outhouse confessional as he was waiting for the person who occupied it to come out. Sybil then proceeded to come out of the outhouse as she and Zane looked at each other in awkward silence.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way.

The camera then went into the mess hall as Chef was preparing a meal in there. He smiled as he looked at Oliver and Aston, whom he had tied up with rope. Oliver and Aston nervously looked at each other before looking at Chef.

I'll get there one day.

The camera then turned to Dustin and Lester playing chess against each other, with Dustin winning the game as he raised his arms in victory as Lester just shrugged his shoulders, being indifferent to losing the game of chess.

'Cause I wanna be famous.

The scene then showed Cameron and Grayson at the beach, staring at Janson, who was lying on the beach before he splashed his bare torso with water, turning it to steam, causing Cameron to fan her face in admiration while Grayson shook his head in annoyance at his sister's reaction.

Na na na na na na, na na na na, na na na na na na.

The scene then then showed a seagull with plastic around its neck drifting on the water as a shark jumped over it before being pulled underwater by an octopus.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

The camera then turned to Johan, who was sitting on a stool on the Dock of Shame with his guitar as he began to play it. He then proceeded to throw his baseball cap into the air as the camera began to follow it. The scene then turned to nighttime as Johan was sitting at the campfire and caught his baseball cap again before putting it back on his head. Chris and Chef then showed up with marshmallows.

[Whistling] I wanna be, I wanna be famous.

The camera then zoomed out to show all 24 campers sitting around the campfire, as well as a sign that read "Total Drama Island" on it.

The scene then cut to Zane waking up and stepping out of the luxury caravan that Valerie had won in the previous episode. The strategist yawned and stretched before scratching his back and walking towards the communal washrooms to get on his bathroom routine.

-Confessional: Zane-

"After the rest of the guys voted out Valerie, one of my closest allies in the game at the campfire ceremony the other night, I didn't want to be near them, so I took up residence in the luxury caravan that Valerie had won during the last Viewer's Vote. After all, Valerie gets to take it home at the end of the summer, so until Total Drama Island wraps up, I'm sure that Chris and Chef won't mind if I sleep in there." Zane spoke calmly, although he was still ticked off about the guys voting out Valerie despite not showing his anger.

-End Confessional-

The scene then cut to the former Killer Bass cabin, where the girls were waking up as well. Sybil yawned and stretched before getting up from her bed. "Morning, girls." The ingenue said to the other girls in the cabin.

"Morning, Sybil." The rest of the girls replied in unison.

"Sure feels quiet without Valerie around here, doesn't it?" Cameron remarked as she also got up from her bed.

"Tell me about it. I actually kinda miss her loudmouthed nature." Michelle agreed as she also got up from her bed.

"I didn't get to spend as much time with her as you girls did, but from what I have seen from her during the short time we got to know each other, I agree that since her departure the other night, things have gotten a lot more quiet in this cabin." Melissa agreed as she walked up to the other girls.

"Well, nothing we can do about it now. We'll just have to keep moving forward with the competition. As the finale draws closer, more and more of us will be leaving this island until there's just two of us left. It may be sad, but this is a competition, and we can't all be winners no matter how much we want to." Kylie chimed in.

Sybil nodded in agreement as she finished putting on her regular attire. "Kylie has a point. Well, I'll see you girls at breakfast." She waved and proceeded to leave the cabin.

The scene then cut to the mess hall, where the campers were having breakfast. Now that the teams had been dissolved, the campers were sitting in groups at both tables. The first group consisted of Miles, Janson, Michelle, Cameron and Lester, and they were sitting at the former Killer Bass table.

"What kind of challenge do you think Chris is gonna put us through today?" Cameron asked the other campers at her table curiously.

"I'm not entirely sure, Cameron, my dear. But I suppose that we will find out in due time once Mr. McLean calls us to the playing field." Janson replied to her as he ate.

"I just hope it won't be as bad as the previous challenges. The bites I got from those snapping turtles still sting." Michelle admitted with a scowl as Miles stroked her hair to calm her down a bit.

"Don't let it get to your head, baby. Getting worked up over a game like Total Drama won't get you anywhere." Miles calmly told his girlfriend.

"He's right, Michelle. Today's challenge could be worse than the previous one." Lester chimed before he got pelted with a spoonful of Chef's slop.

"Shut it, short stuff!" Michelle barked at the scrawny teen.

"Point made and point taken." Lester nodded.

The other group, consisting of Sybil, Nathan, Melissa, Regina, Kylie and Zane was sitting at the former Screaming Gophers table, and they looked over at the other group. "What do you think they're talking about?" Regina asked no one in particular.

"Who knows? They could be talking about Scandinavian farmers stirring through syrup, for all I know." Melissa replied as she swallowed another spoonful of Chef's slop.

"Well, it sure wasn't a friendly conversation if Michelle pelted Lester with food." Nathan chimed in as he continued to look at the former Killer Bass table.

"Well, while they're chatting up a storm about whatever it is they're chatting up a storm about, how about we chat up a storm about something else?" Kylie suggested.

"Like what?" Sybil asked her with a curious tilt of her head.

"Like what you would do with the money if you won, for example. I'll start. If I were to win, I'd save it for my 18th birthday so I can live independently from my parents." Kylie spoke.

"Are your parents a handful?" Regina asked the cheerleader curiously.

"They do get on my nerves with how much they try to kiss my ass, but I just put up with it. What else can you do?" Kylie replied with a shrug.

"Fair enough." Regina nodded. "Anyway, if I win, I'm gonna spend the money on things that'll allow me to do even more dangerous stunts." She continued with a cheeky grin.

"Never one short of adrenaline, I see." Sybil smirked.

"Yeah. So what about you, Sybil? Whatcha gonna spend the money on?" Regina then asked the ingenue.

"I guess I'd spend it on people who need it. I like to share things with other people." Sybil shrugged.

"Sweet. Boring, but sweet. What about you, Mel?" Regina then asked Melissa.

"I'm gonna save it for college and use the rest as I see fits." Melissa simply replied before turning to her boyfriend. "Hey, Nathan. What are you gonna use the money for?" She asked Nathan curiously.

"I'll use it to fund underprivileged schools and advertise my comedy routines." Nathan replied with a smile.

Melissa smiled back and hugged Nathan. "You're such a selfless person, Nathan. I'm glad I chose you to be my significant other." The athletic nerd beamed.

The group then proceeded to turn to Zane. "What about you, Zane? What would you spend the money on if you win?" Kylie then asked the strategist.

"I'm gonna use it to help my parents move out of the slums and get them securely in the middle class. After that, I'm gonna try to get to college, which is something I'm unable to achieve in my current situation." Zane replied calmly.

Everyone was impressed by Zane's words. "Wow. We had no idea you had it that bad back home." Kylie replied back with widened eyes.

"You don't know half of it." Zane simply replied as he went back to eating, with the rest of the people at the table soon doing the same thing.

-Confessional: Zane-

"I hate having to talk about my financial situation back home, since I don't want to get to the finale through the sympathy of my fellow campers. I prefer to get to the finale through my own hard work. The only reason I brought up my situation at the table back there was because everyone else was sharing their plans for the money and pouring their hearts out. I just didn't want to sit there, soaking it up and giving nothing in return."

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Regina-

"Man, all the people I was at that table with have such boring plans with the money. All of them are planning to give it away or use it for responsible matters. There's nothing wrong with spending the money on yourself, you know."

-End Confessional-

The scene then cut to the 11 remaining campers sitting around a round table in the middle of Camp Wawanakwa. Chris and Chef were standing at the head of the table. "Alright, campers! This next challenge will be putting your trust in each other to the ultimate test! This next challenge is gonna require you to get down and dirty in a game of lies, deception and trickery!" Chris announced as the campers were shown wearing shock collars around their waist.

"Any reason why we're wearing shock collars for this challenge?" Sybil asked the raven haired host as she raised a suspicious eyebrow.

"I'll explain in a minute, Sybil. Be patient." Chris told Sybil before he began to explain the challenge to the campers. "Here's the deal...At the start of this challenge, I want you all to close your eyes and NOT peek. Once all of you have closed your eyes, I will be assigning two traitors out of the 11 of you. The goal of these two traitors is to take out all the other campers. Meanwhile, the goal of all the other campers is to unmask the two traitors. Whichever team succeeds in wiping out the other will win immunity, and for the winner of the Viewer's Vote, a reward will be waiting." Chris explained the challenge to the 11 remaining campers.

"And where do the shock collars come into play in this challenge?" Sybil asked the raven haired host again.

"Glad you asked, Sybil! The shock collars work like this: The shock collars have a red light and a green light on them. If you press the button in the middle of this table after punching in the name of a specific camper on the computer screen at every seat at this table, then that camper will be electrocuted and paralyzed for at least 6 hours. If the red light on the collar lights up after a camper is electrocuted, then that means a camper is not a traitor. If the green light lights up, however, then that means a camper is a traitor and you've unmasked them. Allow me to demonstrate." Chris continued to explain as he punched in Chef's name in every computer screen at the table, then pressed the button in the middle of the table, causing Chef to be electrocuted and drop to the ground, paralyzed. The campers were horrified at the sight of this.

"One more thing before I start to assign the two traitors: The traitors will have a radio earpiece that allows them to contact me and electrocute a camper of their choice. To make it more difficult to unmask the traitors, the earpieces will be very small and hard to see." Chris concluded.

-Confessional: Miles-

"A game of lies, trickery and deception, huh? If I'm gonna be a traitor, this challenge should be right up my alley." The brunette spoke with a sly and evil smirk.

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Janson-

"A challenge that involves lying and deceiving, you say? Mm, mm, mm, mm, mm! Nobody feels more at home with a challenge like this than myself. It's my pièce de résistance, so to say."

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Lester-

"I hope that I get to be a traitor for this challenge. It would a perfect way for me to cause some mayhem amongst the campers."

-End Confessional-

"So, without further ado, let's assign the traitors! If you would all be so kind as to close your eyes. And if you peek, you're out of the challenge, so you've been warned. If you find my hands on your shoulders, then that means you've been assigned as a traitor." Chris explained before the campers proceeded to close their eyes as the scene cut to about a minute later, after the traitors had been assigned.

"Alright, the traitors have been assigned. Let the challenge begin!" Chris announced before leaving the area, leaving the campers at each other's mercy.

"So...What do we do now?" Cameron asked the other campers with a confused look on her face.

"I guess we could try to unmask one of the traitors right now?" Kylie replied, sounding unsure of her answer.

"I suppose that would be the most reasonable course of action at this point in the challenge. Let's all put a name into our computers, and the camper with the most votes shall be electrocuted. Does that work for everyone?" Janson suggested to the rest of the campers, who all gestured "Yes.""

The campers then proceeded to each put a name into their computer screen and submit their answer. "Now who should be the one to press the button?" Cameron asked the others. None of them budged before Melissa sighed.

"I suppose I'll take the unpleasant task of electrocuting one of us upon me." The athletic nerd remarked before reaching for the button in the middle of the table and pressing it. Upon pressing the button, Miles proceeded to scream in agony as the machiavellian was electrocuted and dropped to the ground.

"How dare you electrocute my boyfriend?!" Michelle angrily asked the other campers before rushing to her boyfriend's aid, finding that the red light on his shock collar lit up, revealing the machiavellian wasn't a traitor.

"Wow. I really thought he'd be a traitor." Sybil remarked in disbelief.

"You're just saying that because you have beef with Miles because we voted out your boyfriend Johan a few weeks ago, aren't you?! You should be ashamed of yourself, Sybil! I get that you're still mad over that, but it happened a few weeks ago! Let it go!" Michelle barked at the ingenue as she hugged her paralyzed boyfriend.

"Michelle, dear. Please calm down. The challenge has just begun, so we all had to vote for someone whom we assumed would be the traitor, and the majority of the campers was unfortunate enough to assume Miles was the traitor." Janson calmly told Michelle.

"Well, I'm sick of this challenge already! If you need me, I'll be in the girls' cabin, playing my handheld until this stupid challenge is over!" Michelle scoffed before she got up and made her way towards the girls' cabin.

After Michelle left the scene, the rest of the campers looked at each other. "So...What do we do now?" Nathan asked the others.

"I suppose we'll do as we like for now, and if the traitors take one of us as their victim, we return to this table to try and unmask one of the traitors." Janson suggested.

The other campers nodded at that. "Works for me. I'll be at the mess hall. Now that Chef's down for the count, I'm gonna take the opportunity to get some real food." Kylie said before she got up and walked towards the mess hall.

"I'm gonna join her. It's been a while since I've had actual food." Lester agreed before he also got up and followed the cheerleader to the mess hall. The rest of the campers looked at each other, then shrugged and each split up into the camp.

-Confessional: Kylie-

"This challenge is gonna make all of us as paranoid as one of those conspiracy theorist guys you see on Animal Planet regularly, I just know it. I hate this challenge already..." The cheerleader sighed and shook her head."

-End Confessional-

The scene then cut to Kylie and Lester sitting in the mess hall, eating some snack cakes they stole from Chef's pantry. The two teens sighed in relief as they ate their snack cakes. "Man, I really needed that food after all the tasteless slop I've had to put up with for the past few weeks." Lester remarked.

"Couldn't agree more, Lester. I'm really starting to appreciate the broccoli I refused to eat when I was a little kid because of the crap that Chef serves here at his mess hall three times a day." Kylie agreed with the schemer.

"Yeah. So, what do you think of this whole fucked up challenge?" Lester then asked Kylie.

"We'll just have to put up with it. What other choice do we have? It's not like Chris has a say in the greenlighting of the challenges on this show. The producers are the masterminds behind the challenges that we have to perform on this show, and Chris is merely the host who has to do as the producers say." The cheerleader replied as she gave the schemer a shrug.

Lester nodded at Kylie's words. "You're right, Kylie. As much as Chris would probably like to go against the greenlighting of some of the pretty twisted challenges we have been put through so far, he can't. And we have no choice but to try and survive the challenges as best as we possibly can." He agreed. Suddenly, the two heard a scream, and the two teens jumped at the sound of it.

"What was that?!" Lester asked in shock.

"I don't know, but it sounded like it came from the girls' cabin! Let's investigate!" Kylie replied before she rushed out the door of the mess hall, with Lester following behind as they made their way towards the girls' cabin, where they were soon joined by all the other campers, and they were all greeted by a paralyzed Michelle lying on the ground of the girls' cabin, her handheld still in her hands.

"Damn. Looks like the traitors have gotten to Michelle." Regina remarked with a shocked look on her face.

"Indeed they have, milady. I suggest we return to the table and try to unmask one of the traitors before they take another victim." Janson suggested before the group returned to the table and gathered around it.

"Alright, let's all cast our votes and make our decision, just like Chris always tells us to do at the campfire ceremony. And whoever gets electrocuted, please don't take it personal, alright?" Melissa told the other campers.

"We won't, milady. It's not like we have a choice." Janson assured her before each camper proceeded to put a name into the computer screens. Zane then proceeded to press the button to see which camper would be electrocuted. The person who was electrocuted was...

...Janson! The handsome Singaporean teen was electrocuted with a scream in agony before he dropped to the ground, paralyzed.

"Janson, no!" Cameron cried out as she hugged her paralyzed boyfriend, then began sobbing. The red light on Janson's collar lit up, revealing that he wasn't a traitor either. "Are you happy with yourselves?! He wasn't a traitor, so you guys wrongfully accused him!" Cameron angrily told the other campers through her tears.

"We're sorry, Cameron. This challenge is very unpredictable, so we just voted for who we assumed would be a traitor." Zane calmly told the climber, but she wasn't having any of it.

"Save your silly excuses! I need to be alone right now!" Cameron sobbed before she ran off, towards the communal washrooms before she slammed the door shut and began bawling her head off.

-Confessional: Zane-

"The number of people left in this challenge continue to dwindle. I hope we will unmask one of the traitors before they manage to secure the win."

-End Confessional-

As the day went on, the campers continued to grow more and more distrustful of each other, since any one of them could be a traitor. At one point, they heard a scream and rushed over to the communal washroom to find Cameron paralyzed on the ground, and knowing there was no time to waste, the remaining campers rushed over to the table to start punching in a name.

"If the next camper to be electrocuted isn't a traitor, I don't know what I'm gonna do." Melissa said before slamming her fist onto the button in the middle, causing Regina to be electrocuted as the daredevil dropped to the ground, paralyzed. The green light on her collar lit up, revealing that she was a traitor. Realizing this, the other campers cheered in euphoria as they realized that they had unmasked a traitor.

The cheering soon died down, however. "Alright, guys. I get we're happy that we managed to unmask one of the traitors, but there's still one more traitor on the loose. We must find that traitor before they manage to take out the rest of us." Zane told the other campers.

Melissa nodded in agreement. "Zane is right. We must not rest on our laurels knowing we still have one more traitor to catch before we can win this challenge." She chimed in.

"Should we wait for the remaining traitor to make their next move or should we try to unmask them now before they take another victim?" Kylie asked the others.

"I think we should take a break and clear our heads for a bit. We can't unmask the remaining traitor if we're all stressing the heck out." Nathan suggested.

"Nathan is right. Perhaps we should all take a 5-10 minute break and then come back here so we can all logically think while we try to unmask the next traitor." Lester agreed. The other campers nodded, and they all split up once more. But about 5 minutes later, the campers heard another scream and they rushed over to find Melissa paralyzed by the campfire pit as Nathan was kneeling next to her, an upset look on his face.

"No! Not Melissa!" Nathan exclaimed in dismay.

"What happened?" Sybil asked him.

"I don't know! Me and Melissa were just walking here near the campfire pit when she got electrocuted by the remaining traitor!" Nathan replied.

"Let's get over to the table, posthaste!" Lester said as the campers did just that. They gathered around the table, and looked at each other.

"Who could that last traitor be...?" Zane asked in an inquisitive tone, scratching his chin.

"Well, it can't be me. I was with Melissa the whole time, and if she could testify for me, she could definitely tell you that it wasn't me." Nathan said in his defense.

"I don't know, Nate. You could easily be the traitor, and Melissa could've caught you exposing yourself as the traitor, and then you took her out to cover your tracks." Kylie pointed out.

"No! Why would I ever do such a thing to my girlfriend?!" Nathan asked in disbelief.

"Kylie has a point, Nathan. You could be lying your way out of the situation." Zane agreed with Kylie's reasoning.

"Fine, go ahead and electrocute me. But don't say I didn't warn you when you find that I'm not the traitor." Nathan sighed, folding his arms, not liking what was going to happen next. Everyone put a name in their computer screen and submit their answer before Kylie pressed the button in the middle, causing Nathan to be electrocuted and drop to the ground. Unfortunately for all the other campers, the red light on his shock collar lit up, revealing that he wasn't the last traitor.

"Oh no! He was speaking the truth!" Kylie exclaimed in dismay.

"There's no doubt about it: One of us four is the remaining traitor. And we have to unmask them before they win." Zane concluded.

"No kidding." Lester sarcastically replied.

"One thing is for sure: As long as the last traitor is still among the four of us, we shouldn't leave this table. If one of us leaves this table, they could easily become the traitor's next victim. And we shouldn't let that happen now that the traitor is this close to winning." Zane told the other three campers as he gestured with his thumb and index finger to put emphasis on the "close" part.

"I think that the last traitor is Zane." Lester concluded.

"What? Why me?" Zane asked, a bit surprised that he was being accused of being the traitor.

"Think about it. The way you've been unusually calm for this whole challenge is very suspicious. That's a good sign that you could be traitor." Lester explained his reasoning.

"That's just ridiculous. Why would me being calm for the entirety of this challenge be any sign of me being the traitor?" Zane asked the schemer with a calm look and tone of voice.

"Lester has a point, Zane. It is rather suspicious." Kylie agreed with the schemer's reasoning.

"Alright, I admit that it is a bit unorthodox to be calm the whole time when we're competing in a rather stressful challenge, but think about it this way: Is getting stressed out going to get us anywhere in unmasking the final traitor?" Zane calmly reasoned with the cheerleader and the schemer.

Kylie and Lester were unsure how to respond to that question, since they knew that Zane was making a good point as well. "...Alright, you have a point, Zane. But that still doesn't rule you out as a suspect in finding the traitor." Lester replied to the strategist.

"Well, I have no idea how else to prove that I'm not the traitor." Zane replied before the campers heard an evil giggle. They looked over to see that the giggle came from Sybil.

"This game was fun while it lasted, and it felt good to deal some karmic justice on Janson and Miles for getting Johan out of the game a few weeks ago, but the gig is up. It's time for me to win this challenge." Sybil spoke with a smirk.

"Sybil...You were the traitor." Zane spoke, being surprised despite still looking and sounding calm.

"You finally noticed, huh? Yes, it was me who took out pretty much all of the other campers. I took out Michelle, I took out Cameron, and I took out Melissa. I convinced Regina to let me do the work of taking out the other campers because I had a score to settle with Cameron and Michelle for being involved in voting out Johan." Sybil explained as she put her feet up on the table, continuing to smirk.

"But what about Melissa? I don't recall you having any beef with her whatsoever." Kylie replied.

"Oh, I simply took her out for being a threat. After all, it's every camper for themselves now, and I want to make sure I get far enough into the game to get revenge on Janson and Miles for voting out Johan a few weeks ago, and if that means knocking people who didn't do anything to me out of the challenge, so be it." Sybil explained.

Zane looked at Kylie and Lester, who nodded before the three of them put Sybil's name into the computer screen and submitted their answer before Kylie quickly pressed the button, causing Sybil to be electrocuted as the ingenue dropped to the ground, paralyzed. The green light on her collar then lit up, confirming what Sybil said. An airhorn then sounded over the camp speakers as Lester, Kylie and Zane covered their ears for a moment.

"And that's the challenge! Both traitors have been unmasked, and Lester, Kylie and Zane have all gotten immunity at tonight's campfire ceremony! Congratulations!" Chris called over the camp speakers.

-Confessional: Zane-

The strategist looked conflicted. "While I'm happy that I have immunity at tonight's campfire ceremony, I can't help but feel bad about knocking Sybil out of the challenge. Sure, she was one of the traitors, but she was also my friend and one of the few allies I have left in this game. No doubt is Sybil's role as a traitor during the challenge going to play a big part at the campfire ceremony tonight..." He sighed deeply.

-End Confessional-

As soon as all the paralyzed campers had recovered, Chris rounded them all up for a debrief. "Well, campers! This was a horrible, horrible challenge full of stressful moments, but as you all know: I don't have a say in the approval of the challenges for this show. I'm merely the host and have to do as the producers say. Anyway! You're probably all wondering who won the Viewer's Vote! Well, the results are quite funny...No one really voted in the last Viewer's Vote, so instead, we decided to give the Viewer's Vote reward to whoever won the challenge! And since Lester, Kylie and Zane won the challenge, the three of them all win the Viewer's Vote, netting the three of them an interview on a late night talk show before the campfire ceremony!" Chris announced as Lester and Kylie cheered while Zane smiled and gave a thumbs up.

"Lester, Kylie, Zane. The three of you better start preparing for your interview, since you'll be live on air in about 20 minutes. The rest of you are free to do as you like until the campfire ceremony." Chris concluded before the campers all split up to go their separate ways.

The scene then cut to Janson, Nathan and Miles sitting on the Dock of Shame together. "So...Who are we going to vote off?" Nathan asked Janson and Miles.

"It's quite obvious: We're going to vote out one of the two traitors during the challenge, which means either Regina or Sybil. And personally, I'm going to be gunning for Sybil because I get the feeling she had me and Janson electrocuted because of a personal vendetta she has against the two of us." Miles told Nathan with a serious face.

Janson nodded in agreement. "Miles is right, my friend. We must get rid of Sybil now before she goes too far in her vendetta." The manipulative flirt chimed in.

"Alright...Do we get our girlfriends to vote with us again?" Nathan asked the boys.

"Yep. I'll get Michelle to vote for Sybil, Janson gets Cameron to do it, you get Melissa to do it. Are we clear here?" Miles asked Nathan.

"Loud and clear." Nathan nodded.

"Good. Then the guys only alliance meeting is hereby concluded." Miles nodded before the guys each went off to find their girlfriends.

The scene then cut to the campfire ceremony at night. Almost all of the campers were already there. They were just waiting on Lester, Kylie and Zane to arrive. "As soon as our remaining three campers return from their late night talk show interview, we can commence the campfire ceremony." Chris told the campers who were already there.

"Let's make it quick. Me and Miles are planning to play games on my handheld after this." Michelle scowled, folding her arms in front of her chest.

Chris looked annoyed at Michelle's crabby nature. "We get it, Michelle. You're an insular and angry gamer. You don't have to show it every episode you appear in." The raven haired host told the blond gamer. Michelle was about to retort, but Miles put his hand over her mouth.

"Michelle, you really need to learn to control your temper. It will only do you more harm than good in the long run." The machiavellian told his girlfriend as she exhaled deeply in his hand. Lester, Kylie and Zane soon arrived at the campfire ceremony and sat down in their seats.

"Ah, good. The three of you made it. How was your late night talk show interview?" Chris asked Lester, Kylie and Zane with a smile.

"It was fun. We had about 20 minutes to answer the questions of the host and any of the other guests he had at the table tonight, and I had fun answering the questions." Lester smiled.

"Yeah, me too. It felt good to get a taste of what being famous feels like." Kylie agreed with a smile.

"Mhm." Zane simply nodded.

"Alright. Well, fun time is over, because it's time to get down to the order of the evening. You all cast your votes and made your decision. I only have 10 marshmallows on this plate. When I call your name, come up here and claim your marshmallow. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow tonight must immediately return to the Dock of Shame to catch the Boat of Losers and leave the island. Which means you're out of the contest. And you can't come back. Ever." Chris did his usual intro monologue for the campfire ceremony.

"The first three marshmallows go to Lester, Kylie and Zane, since they have immunity tonight." Chris began as Lester, Kylie and Zane walked up to Chris to grab their marshmallows off the plate.

"Marshmallows also go to...Michelle, Janson, Cameron, Melissa and Nathan." Chris continued as the aforementioned five campers also got up to grab a marshmallow off the plate. It was now Sybil, Regina and Miles in the bottom three.

"Sybil, Regina, Miles...The three of you all received votes tonight, but unfortunately, I only have two marshmallows left on this plate. And one of those two marshmallows...is for Miles." Chris spoke as Miles sighed in relief and got up to claim his marshmallow.

"Sybil, Regina...This...is the final marshmallow of the evening. And I'm sorry to say this, but the final marshmallow goes to...

...Regina." Chris finished as the daredevil sighed in relief and got up to claim her marshmallow. Sybil sighed in defeat.

"I feared this would happen...I guess I let my desire for revenge get the best of me today, and it costed me my place in the game..." Sybil spoke as she got up from her seat. "Guys, I apologize if I hurt any of you today. But Johan's elimination a few weeks ago still stings, and I guess it stung so hard today that I let my heart grow dark as a result of it, and that's not who I am at all." The ingenue told the remaining 10 campers.

"Well, learning that lesson not only cost you your place in the game, but it'll also leave your friends you'll leave behind in much pain. Sybil, the Dock of Shame awaits." Chris told the ingenue before the scene cut to Sybil standing on board of the Boat of Losers as it took off into the distance.

"Good luck, guys! I believe in you!" Sybil called to the remaining 10 campers standing on the Dock of Shame before the Boat of Losers was eventually out of sight.

-Confessional: Miles-

"It's about time. I wanted to get rid of that damn girl for weeks. It's good she finally gave me a reason to." The machiavellian said with an angry look on his face as he folded his arms in front of his chest.

-End Confessional-

-Confessional: Zane-

"Sybil, if you ever see this confessional on tv, know that I will do anything in my power to avenge your elimination tonight. I don't know how I'll do it, but I will. I can promise you that." The strategist told the camera with a reassuring look on his face.

And that's a wrap for Episode 16 of Total Drama Island: The First Showdown! Needless to say, but Sybil has finally fallen to the diabolical duo that is Janson and Miles! I had her elimination in this episode planned for a while, and that elimination has come around at last. It's a shame to eliminate Sybil here, because I had a blast writing her throughout the story so far, and her dynamic with Johan was very similar to the dynamic Gwen and Trent had going on in canon Total Drama Island, but Sybil was bound to fall victim to Janson and Miles' schemes eventually after she knew about their scheming for so long. Special thanks to Candela Monsoon (Currently known as aesthetic nightmare) for submitting Sybil to this story and letting me use her throughout this story! But don't worry or feel sad about Sybil's elimination, for she and Johan will be sure to get a little arc of their own during the Aftermath segments!

The challenge for this episode was inspired by a challenge from Total Drama Space Station, a Total Drama SYOC by TheGreatGolem/NumberOneKatieFan here on ! Be sure to check out the story, because it is an absolutely wonderful story! :D

Now for some review questions!

#1: What did you think of the episode?

#2: What was your favorite part of the episode?

#3: Who do you think should have gone home?

#4: Do you have any questions for Sybil at the next Aftermath? Once again, you can also leave questions for Alexneushoorn and Blaineley, since they answer those too!

Thanks for reading, and see you next time on the aftershow! :D – Alexneushoorn
