Chris was sitting in a room, on a bench with a towel over his shoulders as he tried warming up. "I told you Chef, I'm not mad about dropping me in the mote… not at all…." Chris turned when he realized the camera was on him "well, hello there. I didn't see you come in. Last time on Total Drama Castle Chaos, we found our new cast of contestants, some, weirder than others" The screen showed Dino pointing out his badges and then Mina excitedly gushing over Chef. "but at the end of the day, they got a new challenge. They all have to find a key, or keys, to get in. If they don't find any keys in the town, hey, first out is easy. So stay tuned for their first challenge on Total Drama Castle Chaos!"

Intro plays.

Back outside the castle and in the small village, many of the contestants had gone off in their own little groups to find keys. One of said groups was Lester and Dan, who were walking around the town, not even sure where to start. Dan scratched the back of his neck as he looked up to a small manor. Dan was about to walk in when Lester reached up and grabbed the back of his shoulder.

"Hey, D-Dan, man. Are you doing alright? You seem to get worried really easy"

Dan smiled weakly as he waved his hand dismissively "I'm fine, really, just having trouble with new people is all…"

Lester nods as he starts walking into the manor, seeing that it looked like it hadn't been used in ages. He sneezed with a weak groan "jinkies, the dust got all over my glasses" he took off his glasses to wipe them when he accidentally dropped them on the ground. He let out a weak sigh before reaching down and grabbing his glasses

"I-I always get so clumsy. T-this is my third set of glasses this year… the others were all crushed by the cheer squad" He side eyed Dan a little to see Dan frowning.

Dan helped clean his glasses before giving them back to him "I'm sorry that happened to you Lester, but you're a cool guy. Those girls were just being mean, but once all of them see how cool you were competing they'll come and apologize for sure"

Lester smiled meekly up at him "thanks D-Daniel. I hope we can hang out a bit once this season is over. I would be happy to invite you to my dnd games, I usually have to play it by myself. Or maybe w-we can just play some normal games together…."

Dan smiled "well, uh, that stuff isn't really my thing, but I would be happy to try and get into it"

Lester just smiled "I'm happy to call you my friend Dan. I wouldn't be surprised if y-you were a total hit with the ladies back home"

Dan just chuckled nervously with a faint blush "I-I wouldn't quite say that much. I only… ever had one girlfriend before" He looked down with a frown.

Lester cracked a small smile "only had one? I guess she's missing out hu?" He started looking through the manor to try and find any key cards. He walked to the front desk and tapped the bell.

"What are you doing that for?" Dan walked up behind him.

Lester just shrugged with a smile "maybe some people or interns live around here"

"May I help you two?" a woman suddenly popped up from behind the counter with a cheeky smirk. Dan almost immediately jumped back in surprise, before crouching down a little to hide behind Lester.

The woman at the receptionist table had black hair done in a side ponytail that went all the way down to her elbows. She was just a little taller than Lester and wore a blue crop top with short sleeves, there is a heart in the center of the shirt with a knife sticking into it, dark skinny jeans with a glittery belt, tan sandals with a lilac colored band.

"Hu… I didn't expect anyone to actually respond. Me and my friend are here to find a keycard or something like that. Do you know where it could be?"

"I know where it is, but do you know where it could be?" She smirked a little as she rested her chin on her palms.

Lester awkwardly looked at Dan before looking at her again "uh, no. That's why we're asking you, whatever your name is"

"No, I was asking you whoever you are"

Lester was starting to have an annoyed expression as the conversation continued "I'm Lester and this is Dan. Now just tell us where the freaking key cards are!"

"I have no idea"

"You just said you knew!" Lester almost yelled in frustration.

"Wasn't me" Darla's smirk only grew the angrier Lester got. Dan sighed at their conversation, really not wanting to argue with others as he went to quietly look around. It was a large manor, so he decided to at least be partially thorough.

Dan walked up the stairs to the second floor, where he could hear some distant walking. He didn't know if this town was actually populated with people or not, so he chose to quietly walk towards the steps. He eventually reached a room at the back of the hall, where the lights were on and he could see shadows walking inside. He noticed the shadows but just shrugged before reaching for the handle and opening the door. The moment he walked in he saw no one was inside, but there were two pink keycards on the bed.

"Oh, cool" He smiled a little as he picked them both up and walked downstairs to still hear Lester and Darla arguing.

"I told you, Power Rangers is totally a cool franchise! They fight and kill monsters, how is that not cool?"

"Killing monsters is basically any franchise, please." Darla was still smirking.

Lester was just fuming in anger, he was so angry he didn't have the ability to say anything. Dan just stared down at Lester before walking forwards to touch his shoulder. Lester jumped and faced him with an annoyed look.

Dan's smile weakened a little as he held up the two keycards "while you, uh, argued with her I got us some keycards…."

Lester started smiling a bit as he pushed up his glasses "I feel so lucky to have partnered up with you Dan. And I'm definitely happy you're competing over her" He angrily pointed over his shoulder, receiving a small chuckle from Dan as they walked out.

"Those keycards don't matter in the end, you wasted your time!l" Darla smirked a bit as they walked out. Her smirk slowly became a frown when they didn't come back to argue with her.

Confessional: Lester

Lester smiled a bit at the camera "I admit, I got way too heated arguing with that one girl. But that part doesn't matter now. We were the first ones to probably get card keys, we were so fast, so we either get to pick teams or the color means we're on the same team. I hope for the second. Having such a reliable friend like Dan around on my team would be really nice"

Somewhere else in the town, a group of contestants were looking around the prison. However, none of them were talking to each other. Phoebi, Lucy and Julia were all standing in opposite ends of the office room. Looking for any signs of a keycard or really just something that looked important.

Phoebi went behind a desk and opened one of the drawers only for a blast of blue ink to splat all over her body. From the other sides of the room Lucy was snickering in amusement. Phoebi glared over at her before raising an accusatory finger "did you do this jackass!?"

"Me? Do you really think I would do something that immature? Please. Was probably her" Lucy pointed over at Julia, who wasn't really paying attention to their conversation. Only paying attention to the other two in the room when Phoebi was face to face with her.

"Did you or is that Lucy girl messing with me?"

Julia just deadpanned up at her "do I look like the prankster of the cast?"

Phoebi eyed her up and down before hearing laughter further in the small prison. She growled a bit before turning back to looking around, scoffing with a forced smirk "Strider is just pranking me to try and make up for how much of a failure she is. I would do the same if I was her"

Lucy rolled her eyes as she leaned against a wall "you can believe whatever you want girl. I don't want you blowing a gasket and getting out first…. Actually, forget what I said. Keep doing what you're doing"

Phoebi just laughed sarcastically at him "please Lucy, I don't need you being jealous of me. I already have too many people like that"

Phoebi smirked as Lucy rolled her eyes as she went back to looking through the file cabinet behind the desk. She opened the one at the top before a boxing glove came flying out and gut punched her. She groaned as she fell onto the ground. Lucy burst out in laughter while Phoebi rolled on the floor.

"Oh, I was hoping that wasn't the only trap she just had lying around!" She slapped her knees as she continued to laugh.

Phoebi slowly raised back up to glare over at her "you're really starting to get on my nerves here Lucy. How about you shut up and look for a keycard?"

"Yea, yea. I'll do it" Lucy rolled her eyes as she went over to a waiting couch. She pulled up the cushions on the couch when a pie flew up and hit her in the face.

Phoebi looked surprised for a moment, but pretty quickly started snickering to herself "ohhh, I think I can see why you found those so funny. Not all too clever, but hey, I guess I can find it amusing"

Lucy glared over at her "I don't care how humorous you found that, It's now a me issue" Lucy didn't look over at Phoebi as she started storming into the building to try and find where Strider was hiding.

"Hey, I'm more than happy to join you" Phoebi smirked as she followed behind the other girl.

Neither of the girls cared to notice Julia walking out with a pink keycard. She had a blank expression as she closed the door to the building behind her.

Confessoinal: Julia

"So, I don't want to draw attention to myself and all that, but I really, really don't want to be on a team with those three. Sure, I definitely wouldn't get noticed with people like them. But, they're… a total handful" She mumbled, doing her best to keep up a mostly bored and uninterested look

Far away from that small group and even outside of the city Oscar was crawling around the forest. He smiled a bit as he looked up to a tree before seeing a green keycard. A smile grew on his face. Oscar started climbing up the tree to grab it. Smiling a bit more excitedly as he reached up to grab it.

"Hey, Oscar, right? Can we discuss something?"

Oscar was surprised to hear someone else all the way out here before looking down to find Olena, her cold eyes staring directly into his. Oscar grabbed the keycard before slowly descending "what's goin on?"

She raised a similar green keycard "you and I will be on the same team. I just came here to tell you beforehand that I will be leading our team"

"And…?" Oscar was kinda confused why she was talking to him about this.

"Nothing more. I just wanted to tell you so you can understand that I'm in charge. Simple" Olena, like earlier in that day, was as cold and emotionless as ever.

Oscar quietly looked at Olena "yea, uh, I'm not big on the whole leader thing. But I'm sure you'll do a fine job leading us without being bossy" he smiled a little

Olena let out a dry sigh "I see you don't realize that you don't really have a choice on that. I will lead our team to victory and I expect you to help carry said team to victory. If you fail to contribute to our team I will be more than glad removing you if need be"

Oscar started to slowly glare at her "I really don't like your tone now. You should stop being so bossy before they eliminate you first"

Olena started to glare a little back "I see you want to make this difficult hu. Oscar, I will state once more just in case you were mistaken. I will be leading our team one way or another. Our team will win and be the new Amazons or Toxic Maggots, and you will be putting up with that. Do I make myself clear?" She stared daggers at him as she took one step closer.

Oscar's anger only grew the more she talked so he pushed her to the side "I don't need your advice. Your bossiness will get you eliminated early, just like every other bossy contestant"

Olena didn't respond, just staring at the back of his head as Oscar kept walking. Not caring if she stared or not.

Confessional: Olena

"I don't see why he has to be difficult. Every team needs a leader to work, and I saw the other contestants. Someone has to step up to the plate and I will take that burden."

"I don't like causing problems with people. I even think I'm a kinda chill guy. But people like Olena just get on my nerves. People shouldn't be bossed around like that. Well, unless they're into that. But I'm a free spirit. I'm not really a big fan of being tied down like that. But I'm hoping this was just a bad first impression and that's it"

While those five had found their keycards pretty easily, the rest of the contestants and their groups weren't having as easy a time. One of those groups was Vincent and Violet…. Along with two people trailing a bit behind. Rosalina was quietly writing in her notebook as she followed behind them while Dylan was just quietly looking around.

"Do they have to follow behind us?" Violet grumbled quietly to Vincent.

Vincent smiled at Violet and shook his head "they're fine. Dylan seemed like a respectable young boy and Rosalina is friendly"

Violet turned slightly to glare at the two "do you two mind going somewhere else? There's a whole city to explore"

Dylan turned slowly to Violet before shrugging "sure, I guess I can do that." He was about to walk away when Rosalina grabbed his arm. Rosalina smirked quietly to herself as she wagged her finger at him.

"We'll be right on our way then you two. I hope you guy's don't miss us too much" Rosalina started dragging Dylan away, still getting a glare from Violet as they went away.

"I don't trust her one bit"

Vincent waved his hand dismissively, smiling at his sister "don't worry so much about her. She doesn't seem like much of a Heather or anything like that"

"Believe me, that's not my concern"

While those two continue to mostly take a straight route through an alleyway, Rosalina dragged Dylan away to an area that looked far too modern for a medieval village like this. It looked like a normal everyday pool.

"Why are we looking here?" Dylan looked around confused after helping Rosalina crawl over the fencing with him. Rosalina just walked towards the edge of the pool "Maybe we can look under the water for the keycards. I think I saw some in the deep end while we were climbing" she pointed towards the deepend.

Dylan slowly walked over before noticing keycards at the very bottom of the deep end by the diving boards "oh, I actually see it"

Dylan crouched down near the edge to see there were four down there. He slowly turned to Rosalina "do you know how to swim? Or at least hold your breath?"

Rosalina immediately shook her head. She had a mischievous smile on her face, which almost immediately had Dylan worried, but he nodded his head "I'll just try to swim down and get it. Stand here in case I can't get down in time"

Rosalina just nodded while looking off into the distance. Dylan quietly sighed as he took off his shirt and jumped into the water. After a few moments Rosalina turned from the pool and started screaming "help me, my friend started drowning!"

Confessional: Rosalina

Rosalina was quietly writing in her notebook "if you think about it, me screaming for help might be for the best. That pool got pretty deep and I can't swim that well. I think Dylan and I would be a lot safer if Vincent came in and gave him CPR…. if we get to that at least" She sighed a little "please get to that"

Haden smiled a little to himself as he walked down the village square, examining every corner of the area with a small smirk. He was in a thinker pose with a slowly growing smirk as he walked backwards to the well. He slowly turned around and looked down the well. He turned to the crank and slowly turned it. After a few seconds of cranking it up the bucket came up to the top. Inside was a bucket of water.

"This was really just too simple" Haden shrugged a little as he moved the bucket and poured it out on the ground. In the small stream of water was a green keycard. He smirked as he picked it up and held it in the air "next time Chris, I would appreciate a mental challenge a baby couldn't beat"

Haden, after showing his superior intelligence to everyone at home and started walking to the castle "I hope I don't have to pick the teams. I doubt it would be too much fun if all the good players are on mine" he monologued to himself.

Back in the town Lester and Dan were walking back with their keycards. Dan was walking ahead as they just enjoyed the peace and quiet.

"So, Dan. What were you two arguing about? It got pretty heated before we left" Dan looked down at Lester with a small, amused smile.

"Oh, it was nothing. Just a little nerd argument. Happens all the time" Lester waved his hand with a meek smile. Dan seemed to accept this excuse and nodded along with him. They continued to walk when a launcher came up from the ground and shot steaming hot spaghetti at the two.

"What the hell!?" Lester yelled out in pain, trying to swat the spaghetti off himself. Dan, on the other hand, looked like nothing happened as he kept walking. Not a care in the world before he noticed Lester was falling behind.

"Hey, Lester, you ok there buddy?" Dan smiled at him. Behind him an explosion of trash goes off, causing him to stumble forward with a banana peel on his head "what the hell was that?" He quickly looked around in confusion.

Lester looked skeptically up at him, getting the spaghetti off himself then off him "Dan, do you seriously not feel any pain from that? Seriously?"

"Uh… no. I don't really feel pain…" he grabbed the banana and flicked it off. "But don't tell anyone about it or anything. I don't really like people testing to make sure I don't actually feel anything"

Lester just nodded, forcing back a mischievous smile "well, keep leading the way big guy. Your secret is safe with me"

Dan smiled down at him before he started walking along the path back to the castle. Lester on the other hand kept alert. After just a few more steps a stink bomb is launched from a building. Lester side stepped a bit to let Dan take the hit again, with Dan just taking the hit without much problem.

"Ugh, what's that smell?" He asked in annoyance as he held his nose and looked down at Lester.

Lester blushed slightly as he looked down, he didn't want to say he used him as a human shield so smiled meekly "I, uh, may have farted…"

Dan groaned a little as he waved the air away from him.

Dan and Lester had made it all the way back to the drawbridge, Lester was slowly dragging Dan at this point. Dan was covered in trash, scratches, bruises, and had several bear traps on his leg.

"You really should learn… how to duck" Lester grunted as he finally dropped Dan to put in his keycard, smiling at a small ding noise. Dan slowly raised his head to put in his keycard as well, dropped the drawbridge for them both.

"You don't have to drag me in Lester" Dan smiled a bit at him as he started prying the bear traps off his leg.

Lester tried his best to keep dragging him but fell on his butt. "G-good idea. My u-upper body strength isn't the best…" Lester weakly walking inside.

Dan slowly pulled himself up when two more dings went off. He looked over to see Julia and Oscar putting in their cards. Oscar smiled over at Dan "I can't believe you two beat us"

Dan smiled a bit and scratched the back of his head "I'm just surprised you two caught up so fast. There were a lot of traps"

Julia shrugged slightly "we just followed the traps you set off. Thanks by the way"

"Oh, I g-guess that makes sense" He nodded as he looked down a little. Julia stared at him for a moment before walking in. Oscar smiled and pat his shoulder as he lead Dan in beside him "yea, I hope we're on your team man"

Dan smiled back at him as he walked in alongside him. This season was already going better for him than he was expecting it to be.

When they all got inside they saw Haden just sitting on a bench while eating a candy bar. He slowly turned to the four and waved with a smirk "did you all fall for the traps outside? I was almost worried those were a little too obvious"

He received a slight glare from Lester before he sat down with the other four "I don't trust that guy too much. He comes off as too smug f-for my tastes. He reminds m-m-mee of the guys who used to dunk my head in the toilet because I brought an action figure to school..."

Dan frowned slightly before patting his friend on the back "I doubt he's that bad. But hey, if you're lucky you won't be on his team. 50-50 chance really"

"Somehow that's not too convincing, but I-I-I guess it could be worse. N-No one has insulted or hit me yet. It's already going better than my High School"

Oscar and Julia awkwardly looked at each other, not really too sure on what to say next. Oscar turned back to Lester with a smile "I don't think anyone here would hurt you on purpose or anything… besides Phoebi, or Olena… or maybe Strider"

Lester whimpered a bit as he raised his hands a little "m-man, I just joined to get away from that and it's going to happen all over again. But now I'll be embarassed and harassed on national tv!" Lester started whimpering loudly. Oscar and Julia awkwardly scooted away a little from him. Oscar scratched his neck and looked down while Julia was just looking away.

Dan just frowned a bit more "Lester, when this season is over you and I can go hang out. We'll show those kids at your school that they're missing out on you!"

Lester smiled sheepishly up at him before tightly hugging him "I don't know what I'd do without you big guy"

Dan smiled a bit and hugged him back.

Confessional: Dan

"I really don't get why people would bully someone like Lester like that. I know he's a… bit nerdy, but that's hardly a reason to beat him up. He seems like a genuinely cool guy. But no matter, I don't expect to last long here, so maybe helping boost his confidence before I go would help. It would definitely make my time on this show worth it"

Aaron was quietly looking through a room full of small vaults. He was really taking his time to look through them, not finding anything… because he doesn't know how to open vaults. He just knew one of the keycards had to be in there if they were going to have a room full of vaults. Aaron sighed as he sat down "I'll never get zis..."

"Hey, we could help"

Aaron turned around in surprise, seeing Vaughn and Xavier just smiling at him. Aaron rubbed his hands together awkwardly before waving them over. Aaron just quietly pointed to the vaults, not really wanting to speak if he didn't have to.

Vaughn cracked his knuckles as he got to work examining one of the vaults on the ground. Xavier looked down at Aaron and smiled warmly at him "how long have you been doing these?"

"Vell… I-I-It's been… a-about ten minutes" He mumbled bashfully as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Vaughn's super good at this though, I have faith he'll get anything lying around here no problem" Xavier smiled warmly at him as he sat down next to him.

Xavier continued to smile excitedly while Aaron just sat there quietly. Slowly, time passed as they both looked progressively less interested in Vaughn's progress. Opposite of them, Vaughn was whipping his brow as he opened a vault. Inside was a green keycard.

Vaughn sighed in relief "finally. Got another" the camera zoomed out to show he had opened basically every other vault and only had one other green keycard in his pocket.

"Ok guys, I found two for you. I'll see you back at the castle" Vaughn turned towards them and handed them both keycards. Aaron was surprised to get one before him but he slowly took it.

"I told you Vaughn's great" Xavier smiled at Aaron, who slowly nodded his head.

"Don't worry too much about me. There's only a few vaults left. I might even beat you two there" Vaughn smirked a little as he went back to opening vaults.

Xavier just smiled and nodded before walking out. Aaron on the other hand, stuck behind for a moment before bowing towards Vaughn "I a-a-appreciate t-t-the help s-s-sir. I w-w-will t-try my best to repay you"

Vaughn just waved his hand with a smile "don't worry about it. I'll be fine. I just couldn't let a nice guy like you sit around so long like that"

Aaron nods a bit again before walking out to catch up with Xavier.

Vaughn slowly started smirking to himself as he smashed a vault open to find another green keycard "sweet. I guess we'll be quite the little team, aye boys?" He whispered to himself with a wide smirk. Vaughn started walking off, but walking much slower than the other two.

While everyone else, excluding Rosalina, was searching for keycards, Penny and Claire were quietly watching Mina raid a restaurant on the outskirts of the town. Claire covered her mouth a bit, getting grossed out by how little Mina seemed to chew, while Penny was just looking down at her phone.

"Jeez Mina, you might be taking a record here. You sweeped this place clean in under an hour…." Penny mumbled in surprise.

"I was… never for muckbangs…" Claire held her mouth, feeling closer to throwing up.

Mina just smiled at the two other girls, she looked pretty relaxed as she ate a chicken leg with the bone without chewing once. Penny slowly looked at Claire before smirking a little and tapping her nose "I call not doing cpr if she chokes on her food"

Claire looked at her before sighing a bit in defeat "I guess I lost fair and square. But if she breaks the record I get to record it"

"More than fair for me" Penny smiled up at her.

Mina had mostly ignored their conversation and continued to eat, however, after throwing another chunk of meat into her mouth she held her throat, making loud choking noises.

The other two girls were a bit distracted, as Claire was showing a game on a handheld to Penny. Penny looked like she was bored already with it, but nodded her head anyway "really looks like a fun time…" Penny yawned a bit by accident.

Confessional: Penny

"I don't really get why those two decided to go looking with me. Don't get me wrong, Mina seems nice and laid back, and I doubt Claire is that bad, but I can't say I particularly trust them running around with me. But either way I'm totally checking out that game Claire showed me when I get home!"

Mina weakly held her arm out towards the other girls, trying to get their attention as they continued to watch the game. Penny slowly raised up to see if she was done eating before her eyes widened in surprise.

"S-shit!" Penny jumped up and grabbed Mina from behind and started performing the heimlic on her. Claire was still just distracted and playing her game.

Penny continued to pump Mina's stomach before she spat up a pink keycard, landing directly on Claire's face "sick!" Claire grabbed the keycard and held it away from herself, just looking disgusted.

Penny looked surprised and let go of a panting Mina to pick it up "if there's one in here there might be more!" she turned back to Mina "do you think you could eat more of the food here?"

Mina rubbed her throat a little before quickly going back to normal and nodding nonchalantly "sure, I could eat"

Claire got out a napkin and started rubbing her face clean of saliva "can you at least point her away next time she finds another one?"

"No promises"

A few blocks away, and back to Rosalina's diabolical scheme, Vincent and Violet had run over soon after hearing Rosalina scream for help. Vincent quickly looked around once they made it over "w-what's wrong Rosalina? I don't see anything going on here"

Rosalina looked like she was close to tears as she pointed to the water "D-Dylan jumped in after some keycards and started drowning! You need to go help him!"

Vincent's eyes widened at the news and quickly took off his shirt before running and diving into the water. Rosalina and Violet slowly walked towards the edge of the water. Rosalina smiled excitedly as Violet quietly glared at the back of her head. Even if Rosalina noticed the glare, she was far too excited for when they would come back to look back to her.

After a few moments Vincent came out of the water dragging Dylan by his shoulder. Rosalina almost squealed as he dragged his fellow contestant onto land. Dylan opened his eyes slowly before raising up two green and two pink keycards "I got them all"

Vincent looked down at him for a moment before sighing in relief "oh thank goodness. Rosalina made us think you were drowning down there. It's good to see you're ok"

Rosalina lightly groaned before Dylan slowly turned to her. She bashfully looked down at her feet "you were taking a while…"

Vincent just nodded his head understandingly. "Well, we all got keycards because of you. And I am forever thankful. If you ever need help, I would be glad to do so"

Rosalina slowly started smiling excitedly before Violet stepped in front of Vincent "you and the other guy get the pink ones. Vincent and I will take green" She slowly leaned down towards Rosalina "I swear, if you keep sexualizing him I will end you"

Rosalina stared blankly at her before looking past her to Vincent "I look forward to being friends!"

Vincent smiled at her and nodded.

Dylan just quietly put his shirt back on before handing out the keycards "We should get going. We get distracted for a bit too long there"

Violet nodded, grabbing Vincent's arm and dragging him ahead so Rosalina couldn't lay her hands on him. Dylan stared at them for a moment before looking down at Rosalina "I wonder what her problem is"

Rosalina just shrugged with a small smile "I really have no idea honestly"

As fewer and fewer keycards are left lying around, speakers above the town suddenly turned on "so, I read the sheet for the challenges, and I guess there are just two more locations with keycards, lucky you guys. One's at… ye olde mideevil mall, and the other is underground. Good luck searching!"

Harmonia silently shook her head, slightly annoyed that an old fashioned village like this would have something like a mall just lying around.

She quietly walked to the mall, which was a lot bigger than she anticipated. But she still didn't feel too interested in the place as she walked in. As she looked around she could see Dino looking through an outdoors shop while Vivian was just watching the tv's.

Harmonia smiled faintly as she walked over to Dino, not saying anything as she quietly examined what he was checking out, which was really just fishing gear.

"Are you big into fishing Dino?" Harmonia quietly asked with a warm smile.

Dino jumped a little, not expecting someone to suddenly start talking to him. But when he noticed it was Harmonia he couldn't help but start smiling warmly at her "hello Harmonia! Yes, I do enjoy fishing. A third of my badges on the back of my sash are water related. Do you want to see them?" He smiled as he slowly started turning his sash around.

Harmonia smiled in amusement at his badges as she nodded "I would enjoy it quite a bit actually. I haven't met someone from the boyscouts and it would seem from your badges you're more than above average at it"

Dino's grin grew as he started going in depth at every badge on his sash. Harmonia didn't look bored during his first few badges so he just decided to continue until she asked him to stop.

Vivian, a bit away from them, was watching the drama brothers performance from a few months back. She had a slight frown before smiling at Dino and Harmonia talking. She decided to walk over before stumbling and falling on the ground. The two turned over to her, with Dino quickly walking over to help her while the anthropologist wrote down something in her notebook. Vivian blushed a little when Dino extended a hand down towards her. She sighed a little and took it.

"Thanks…"

"No problem, a boy scout always helps!"

Confessional: Vivian

Vivian chuckled awkwardly "y-yea, my first impressions here aren't getting any better. But maybe my team will be mostly girls. Would be nice having some gal pals while I'm around at least…"

Confessional: Harmonia

"Well, those two are an interesting situation. Dino, being a boyscout who knows nothing besides camping probably has no female friends. While Vivian is likely one of those ditsy pretty girls. At the very least there's a good chance she's more on the Lindsay or Justin side and not the Alejandro side" She smiled a bit confidently "I pride myself on being an… excellent judge of character. That's all"

Vivian took her hand back and looked away "so, uh, have you two found any keycards?"

"No ma'am" Dino immediately started shaking his head.

"I admit I haven't looked that hard. But it's not the largest mall I've seen. It can't be that hard to find a few" Haromnia analyzied with her blank expression.

"We just have to think like Chris" Dino put fingers on his temple in thought "just gotta think like Chris…"

Dino stopped talking as he completely focused on his plan. Haromina just stared at him before turning to Vivian "wanna just look for a store that would feature Chris?"

Vivian just nodded and walked away with her. Leaving Dino behind to keep lightly tapping his forehead in thought.

Confessional: Dino

Dino had a confident smile on his face "I got three badges for hunting, and as my boyscout leader always said, you have to think like your prey. So, if I'm looking for something Chris hid, I gotta think like Chris'' Dino started trying to comb his hair like Chris "Alright campers, time to talk about how cool I am!" He smiled as he did a terrible Chris impersonation before moving his hair back "I also won an impressions badge and a comedy badge. Both of which I'm excited to use!"

The three of them continued to walk around the mall for a while. They eventually passed by a movie store when Dino held his hands out to stop the two of them "wait guys, I got it!"

Dino grabbed their arms and brought them inside "what are you doing Dino?" Harmonia asked, sounding more curious than annoyed.

"Well, as someone who won the Total Drama trivia badge, I know full well that Chris McLean had made movies, right? This place sells movies, if any of his movies are in there, easy win!"

"That's… pretty smart Dino" Vivian nods a bit. Dino just smiled happily as he started walking in.

"Do you think he actually got all those badges or is he making them up?" Vivian whispered when he was out of the way.

"I think the answer there is obvious" Harmonia smirked slightly as she walked inside after Dino

Vaughn was walking back from the vaults, quietly smirking to himself. He was enjoying the personal time where he could just enjoy his silence. He looked over to the side to see Harmonia, Dino, and Vivian rushing towards the drawbridge. Vaughn was confused on why they were running before he snapped his finger and picked up his pace.

Confessional: Vaughn

"I see they're worried this challenge is an elimination. I doubt it considering we don't even have our teams yet, but it's possible. Even if I doubt it I'm out, it wouldn't hurt to scare um a little" He smirked evily to himself.

While he didn't look like he was the most athletic contestants, the other three weren't either so he caught up pretty quick. As he ran he pushed in front of Harmonia and placed his keycard after the other two "yes, safe!"

Harmonia had a soft smile "my, did I lose already? Such a shame. I was hoping I would at least merge. Oh well"

The drawbridge dropped for them, Chris and Chef just looked over at them "what are you talking about?" Chris asked in a deadpanned tone.

"We… assumed we were last so we ran" Vivian mumbled through her panting.

Chris and Chef just quietly snickered to themselves "you maggots get dumber every season. You aren't even the last ones here"

"We're not?" Vaughn asked as he furrowed his brow.

"Yea, that's us" Phoebi and Lucas both had amused smiles on their faces as they put in their keycards like it was no big deal.

"So, I am not out?" Harmonia asked politely.

"None of you are out!" Chef yelled in annoyance "we never said anything about an elimination!"

"Oh, no elimination?" Phobie spoke up with a groan "that stinks"

"Yea, was really hoping for that," Lucy nodded.

"Why would you two want to get eliminated?" Dino tilted his head.

"Oh, we don't" Phoebi smirked "It's just because we know we're not last"

Dino looked confused before Chris stepped forward with a smile "that's right. Strider is still out there… somewhere. And Chef will be going to get her. But don't worry too much about her, these keycards were just for your brand new teams!"

Phoebi and Lucy both looked slightly dissapointed, but the rest just looked relieved as they followed Chris inside the castle.

Strider was tied up in a prison cell, glaring in annoyance at the darkness "people here just can't get a joke…"

Confessional: Phoebi

The girl still looked a bit annoyed but shrugged "well, I guess it doesn't matter too much. Considering how that girl is she'll get herself out in no time. I'll just wait patiently and bam, she's out of here"

Chris and the last seven contestants walked into the castle. Strider had been released and after everyone waited for her to get there they all stood in one large group. Strider glared over at Phoebi and Lucy, who didn't seem too interested with her

"something wrong?" Phoebi asked dismissively.

"You two seriously need to learn to take a joke" Strider grumbled angrily. Phoebi just snickered.

"Alright contestants! As you all know your keycards were color coded. So, your colors represent your teams. Those who got green cards, line up to my right. Those who got pink can go to my left"

Everyone did as told and moved aside. On his right stood Haden, Oscar, Olena, Rosalina, Dylan, Xavier, Aaron, Vaughn, Lucy, Phoebi, and Strider. And on his left was Dan, Lester, Julia, Mina, Penny, Claire, Violet, Vincent, Vivian, Dino, and Harmonia.

"Those on the right, you guys will be known as the Pissed Peasants!" Most of the contestants looked unimpressed with the name, but he got some smiles from a few of them. A pink symbol of a man kicking the air appeared above their head

"Oh that's a fun one!" Xavier smiled excitedly.

"Meanwhile, you on the left will be the Joyous Jesters!" a green symbol appeared in the corner, showing a man in a jester costume laughing to himself.

Mina shrugged a little "I guess it could be worse…"

Confessional: Olena

"This team seems like it could be a handful. At the very least most of them seem capable and will listen to reason. Ignoring the obvious elephant in the room known as Oscar of course" she sighed a bit in annoyance "I hope he doesn't make me have to do something to keep our team going"

Confessional: Violet

"This team will probably be annoying, I don't doubt that. But at the very least a chunk of them seem to know to keep to themselves. But just having Rosalina on the other team and away from Vincent makes me more than happy" she cracked a very, very small smile.

"And now that you all have your teams, I'm sure you can all guess this season's theme!" Chris smiled expectantly at the group, only to hear crickets. Chris sighed "not even going to throw out a guess?"

More crickets. Chris slowly slowly shook his head "it's in a castle sooooo…. It's obviously Mideevil themed!"

"Ohhhhh" Rosalina smiled "I assumed it was a spooky theme because spooky castle"

"...ok, not a bad guess. Now, we can start a tour of the castle!" Chris announced while raising his hands to the sky "Chef, care to do the honors?"

Chef grumbled in annoyance "you really think I know every square inch of this place? It's a castle, it's huge!"

Chris rolled his eyes "we can't just have them walk around to find them all, they might miss someplace important! How will we give them a challenge if they don't know where they're going?"

"That's what we're here for!"

Chris and the others turned to see the girl that had argued with Lester earlier and another girl. The other girl had an apple figure and has an assymetrical bright ginger bob hairstyle styled generally towards the right. She was wearing brown sandals, cream knee-length capris and a short-sleeved light blue collared shirt, which is tied, exposing her midriff.

Chris scoffed "and who exactly are you two?" Chris asked with an accusatory finger.

"Oh, you can call me Max" the girl smiled up at Chris "and my partner here is Darla. We're your interns" she hugged Darla's side as she introduced them. Darla looked around Chris and towards Lester before sticking her tongue out at him with a smirk. Lester just looked down. Not wanting to face her at all.

"Well, yet another thing to be annoyed with Mr. G over. Well girls, how about you go and show them around aye?"

Max just smiled and nodded "right away! Follow us everyone"

Max and Darla just walked past Chris and Chef and started their tour. Chris groaned and started following after them "I was being sarcastic!"

Max and Darla were walking through the first floor and walked up to a large cafeteria room "well, here's my favorite room, this is where I spent most of my time here so far" she joked with a smile "and this is where you'll be most of the season Chefy"

Chef glared at her 'nickname' but nodded. A few contestants slowly raised their hands, getting a smile from Max "if anyone has questions Darla will be happy to answer them"

Darla smirked at the group, seeing all of their hands slowly go down. Max just continued walking down the halls, walking past knight armor standing by large windows "lots of halls around here" Strider mused.

"Yea, most of the season Mr. G says you'll only need the first floor. Oh, and on your right we have your new official confessionals!" Max smiled as they walked past two large doors that look like the entrances to a red carpet theater.

Confessional: Xavier

Xavier was looking around with a wide grin "this place is super fancy!" He started feeling the fancy walls with a growing grin.

"And these are the last rooms that should matter" Max raised her hands out at the end of a hall "the guys from both teams will be sleeping on this side and the girls will be on the other"

"Oh thank god, we're finally done with the tour" Phoebi sighed in relief as she walked towards one of the girls rooms before Chris grabbed her shoulders. Soon the other contestants started walking into their rooms.

"Right, yea, good idea campers. You can all rest and get used to each other. Because the next challenge will be much harder!"

Most of the contestants just ignored Chris as they got comfortable. Xavier was already jumping on his bed as the others unpacked.

"I guess we'll just have to break them into respecting me" the host forced a smile "but enough about them. How will their first challenge go? And how will they all deal with their brand new teams? Find out in the next episode of Total Drama Castle Chaos!"

AN: Not much to say here or anything, but now we have both teams and we got to meet our two interns. I know I didn't make any point of it, but all 3 interns will eventually have a role at some point in this season. So look forward to that.
