Chris was standing outside his castle as Chef used stilts to try and cover some of the holes from the last challenge with cardboard. Chris rubbed the bridge of his nose before noticing the camera being pointed at him "oh! Well hi there. It's been... not long enough I would say. But either way, last time on Total Drama we had ourselves a classic ohmidevil pilaging challenge. Where for whatever reason, they thought smashing things into my castle was a good idea! But, luckily, those Jesters got themselves eliminated and thanks to their failures they had to send Claire home. But, now that we're on to a new day, we'll just have to see if the Jesters can screw up a challenge even worse than last time on Total Drama Castle Chaos!"
Intro Plays
It was just a normal morning, where everyone was either in the cafeteria or were on the way there. Everyone could hear a lightning storm going off outside as they ate their breakfast.
Violet was quietly walking there by herself, as everyone else just didn't want to walk with her. Not that Violet cared either way though. She noticed Vincent also walking alone to the cafeteria and smiled at him "hey Vincent. Have those guys been getting on your nerves yet?"
Vincent frowned a little at his twin sister "Violet… I don't think they're that annoying"
"You don't?" Violet stared at him "I know you're easy to get along with but all these guys on our team are nuts. Somehow the freak who's obsessed with badges and the weirdo obsessed with her looks are the normal ones on the team. I can only imagine liking the girl in that gaudy dress because she doesn't talk"
"Violet, you almost got eliminated yesterday, don't you remember? If you keep acting this way they won't hold back anylonger and vote you out next time we lose. You're only still here because Lester got one of the girls to vote with us"
"Look, I get that I can be annoying but I don't care what the others think of me" Violet's expression was starting to soften "I could care less if they find me annoying. They all annoy me"
Vincent sighed "V, please, at least bite your tongue and not say something snarky. That's all I ask. I want us to compete as long as we can together" he puts his hands on her shoulders with a small smile.
Violet stared at him for a moment before turning to the cafeteria. She could see Dino and Penny handing Mina random blobs of food for her to devour, Vivian was inching towards Dan who inched away, while Lester was just quietly looking over Harmonia's shoulder to see what she was reading. He quietly rubbed against her. Julia meanwhile was just quietly trying to eat her slope while side eyeing everyone else.
"But… they're all so annoying"
Vincent just continued to stare sternly at him.
Violet turned away "fine. I won't say anything to them. I'll just pretend I'm ignroing all of them"
Vincent smiled happily "thank you Violet. I want to enjoy this season. And if I don't have you around it won't be as fun"
Violet smiled softly "I feel the same. I can't imagine how terrible this would be if I was the only one who got accepted"
"Just remember you and I are going to do our best to win this thing" Vincent smiled as he started walking back to the group, smiling and waving to Dan and Dino.
Violet sighed a bit and just quietly followed after him.

Violet leaned back and groaned softly "this is going to be a difficult season if I have to get along with anyone. But. I think I can work along with Julia. Girl doesn't talk. The rest… I will ignore as I planned to"

Meanwhile, at the other table everyone was sitting in their groups. Phoebi was sitting very close to Lucy while Rosalina and Olena sat on the opposite end, with Rosalina practically shoving a manga in her face. Olena didn't understand a single word she said as she quietly nodded her head.
Meanwhile the guys sat at the end of their table. Vaughn looked over to the girls on their team before clearing his throat. "Have you guys noticed those girls on the team have been getting closer?"
The rest of the guys looked over, much less subtly. Especially Xavier who just ended up staring into Olena's eyes. Vaughn sighed a little "oh please guys, don't be too subtle here"
"That's just how it is" Haden spoke up "it's like how all us guys ended up hanging up even if most of us aren't even friends"
"Z-z-zat's a fair point" Aaron murmured.
Dylan also nodded a bit, which got most of the other guys to not question their closeness. While Haden did help dissolve some of the worry, he was looking over at Olena as he slowly bit into an apple.
Confessional: Haden
"I hate that I almost believed Olena to be subtle with her approach" he laughed a bit "hanging out with your alliance mates so openly? At least wait until you have an undisputed majority. Now I have to make sure she doesn't get too cozy… I wonder which of her gal pals would have some dirt on them"

Everyone on both teams continued to chow down on their meals when they heard a loud thunder sound as the lights suddenly turned off. Everyone looked around confused.
"Is Chris starting a challenge? Does he always have to start challenges while we're eating?" Mina groaned a little as she slurped down the last of her food.
"Well, if he turned off the power he's going to have a hell of a time getting to us to tell us what we're doing" Phoebi leaned back with a smirk.
"Well, Chef was just serving us food, right? He's probably just back there" Lucy stood up and walked over to the counter "hey, Chef man, you in there?"
However, Lucy didn't see him.
"Welp. he's out" Lucy leaned back with a small shrug.
"I suppose we should stay behind and wait for him to come back" Olena stated quietly as she crossed her arms and stayed where she was.
"Well, what shall we do then?" Harmonia spoke up for her team "anyone willing to go explore with me? If this is a challenge we won't be getting anywhere over here"
"I can go with you" Mina raised her hand.
"Good enough for me. Let's go deary" Harmonia walked towards the door with Mina following behind. They open the doors to the room only to see Darla and Max with terrified expressions, paper, and flashlights.
"What's wrong with you two?" Mina murmured as she looked at them. However, they ignored her and ran into the room.
Max and Darla quickly handed all the Peasants flashlights and two maps "ok campers! Chris has been…. Let's call it missing in action along with Chef. So, since you guys won the last challenge you guys have a map that shows where the power is and the flashlights. But, first team to get the power back on wins invincibility!" Max quickly spoke.
"Woah, woah, woah. Slow down!" Vivian groaned a little "w-what happened to Chris and the power? Explain a little bit"
"None of you business" Darla quickly concluded.
"So this is just a normal challenge. Great to know" Vaughn stood up and smiled at Aaron and Xavier "you two come with me, we're going to go turn the power on and win another challenge for our team!"
Aaron and Xavier both smiled as they stood up and grabbed their flashlights.
"Wait" Olena stood up "we have to conclude who gets the map before we all walk off"
"We'll be fine! Xavier spent the whole last challenge wandering around and… Aaron is here. We'll be fine!" Vaughn waved dismissively as the group walked out.
Olena sighed as she rubbed her head "ok, our new teams will be Dylan, Rosalina, and Haden with me an-" Olena turned around to see everyone besides Rosalina had run off with the flashlights and map.
Rosalina smiled up at her before slowly looking around "hey, where'd they all go?"
"At this point I'm starting to worry about our chances of winning. But ignoring that you and I have to win this for our team. Can I trust you to focus?"
As Olena spoke, Rosalina was too distracted watching Lester cling to Dan out of fear as thunder went off outside. Olena leaned closer and snapped her fingers "hey, hey. Focus"
Rosalina jumped back to reality "oh! Sorry! Yea, let's go!" Olena nods as they walk out with their flashlights.
Meanwhile with the Jesters, they were just pairing up randomly. Lester was third wheeling Vivian and Dan, as Lester basically had to drag him along; Harmonia went alone, with Mina quietly following her; leaving the twins, Penny, Dino, and Julia.
Violet grabbed Vincent's arm "alright, let's get going. This is our first challenge where we don't have to deal with the rest of the team."
Vincent dragged his feet as he leaned back "actually Violet, I was wondering if maybe we should try to get you hangin out with one of our castmattes. Y'know, make some friends?" Vincent gave her a pleading smile.
Violet glared slightly, but eventually let up as she looked over the last three. Dino smiled at Julia as he held up his sash to show off more badges. However, she didn't seem to really care all that much.
Violet sighed "they're all so… annoying. But we can take Penny. She's at least physically useful. As long as she doesn't get handsy with you"
Vincent tilted his head a bit in confusion, but just chose to smile at Violet letting someone come along with them "het Penny! You wanna join me and V?"
Penny turned to them, she was just trying to get through her food "oh, uh, you sure you want me to join?"
"Of course! V was totally alright with that" Vincent smiled. Penny smiled bashfully as she got up and walked over to them.
"I'll try to not disappoint your high standards" Penny joked.
"Trust me, it's about as high as your height" Violet snarked.
Penny glared slightly at her "I hope it's not as high as your vote count yesterday. I don't know how I would ever compare to that"
Violet and Penny were now face to face as they glared at each other. Vincent immediately got inbetween them "ok you two. How about we just get to the challenge and not too much? Sounds fair?"
Penny and Violet glared at each other, but slowly nodded.
Vincent smiled and grabbed their arms "great, let's get moving. We don't have flashlights so we need to make sure we stay close and don't get lost"
As that group of three left, Julia looked around quickly before realizing she was stuck alone with Dino. Dino on the other hand smiled "oh man Julia, I know we haven't talked much but I'm really looking forward to working together with you!"
"Oh yea, and why is that?" Julia asked dryly as she just started wandering into the halls.
"Well, I want to be friends with everyone on the team, and you're the only one I havent' gotten to talk too much" Dino smiled as he held up his friendship badge "I earned this badge and I will not fail to live up to its morals!"
Julia side eyed him "you *really* like those badges hu? I guess everyone needs their hobbies"
Dino smiled "yep! It's a good way to pass the time. Maybe when this is over our team can go on a big camping trip!"
"I wouldn't want to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere with anyone… so good luck convincing the others on that too"
Confessional: Julia
Julia started off with a small sigh "Dino is a lot different to the type of people I usually talk to. He's very simple minded, but at the same time he seems way too open and trusting. He knows how this game is right? Everyone is supposed to be manipulating each other, and he just focuses on making camping buddies. I might feel a bit bad when someone eliminates him"

Every group was walking on their own, most of them going in random directions. As only one group ended up grabbing the map they needed. That team being Phoebi and Lucy. Phoebi held the map while keeping the flashlight in her mouth to help light it up.
"Looks like we're headed in the right direction" she murmured through the flashlight "I knew we'd be the only ones to use this correctly."
"Hate to say it but I'm happy you partnered up with me" Lucy smirked a bit "I have to admit you have a decent head on ya, even if following a map isn't that impressive"
Phoebi didn't care if that sentence ended in a snarky comment as her heart fluttered a bit, she looked away to hide her blush "well, thank you Lucy. I'm happy you can see that too. I was starting to think everyone here was a knuckle scraping idiot before now"
"I wouldn't let our fearless leader hear that"
Phoebi scoffed "like I care what she thinks. She's just a wannabe leader. You and I could lead this team no problem. Brains, brawn, beauty all in one!"
Lucy chuckled and leaned back "you really know how to butter someone up. Don't expect me to just suddenly lower my guard around you. You're still another competitor"
"Oh of course. Any other person could be a threat"
Lucy nods with a smirk "I guess you are a bit smarter than you look"
As the two continued on their path Harmonia was hiding behind a suit of armor on the wall with a small smirk on her face.

Somewhere else in the castle, slowly walking through a long narrow hallway was the friendzone squad of Dan, Lester, and Vivian. With Lester standing in the middle of the two so Dan was only sweating a bit. To their side was large glass windows that were constantly being hit with hard rain. The long red curtains slowly waved around, with those further down the hall waving much faster
"So, uh, where should we look, you think?" Dan smiled bashfully at Lester, not looking up to Vivian.
"W-w-well, we could always look to the top of the building if we wanted… I-I-I doubt anyone e-else will go all the w-way to the top"
"That's a good idea guys. If everyone else checks everywhere else then we'll already be ahead of them"
The only noise they heard besides their voices was the rain as they wandered down the hall. Dan enjoyed the silence as he tried to forget he was walking so close with a girl. He slowly closed his eyes when he heard a crash of thunder going off. Dan widened his eyes a little and looked over to see Lester clinging to Vivian in her arms.
Lester smiled a bit at Dan, giving him a small thumbs up while Vivian looked annoyed. Dan chuckled bashfully at his friends' antics.
Confessional: Dan
Dan smiled in his confessional "Lester's a fun guy. He's made this competition kind of worth it if I'm honest. He's slowly breaking out of his shell and I think he might have a crush on Vivian…." Dan started thinking a little "Vivian is considered kinda pretty… maybe I should help him out and try to set them up? I know she voted with us yesterday thanks to Lester so she might like him too"

Vivian had an annoyed look "of course he lied and only brought Dan along so I would come. I just wanted to make friends here… and all the girls on my team either hate each other or don't like me, and then all the guys either fell for me or avoid me like Daniel." she sighed slightly "I guess I really shouldn't try so hard for this. I should just accept being on a team of enemies"

Vivian quickly dropped him on the ground with a still annoyed look. Lester chuckled nervously as he slowly got up "sorry… got s-s-s-scared there…"
"You could've jumped in Dan's arms then. Nice try"
Lester still chuckled a bit as he stood close to her. Dan had stopped paying attention to their conversation. He looked down to the end off the hall to see a figure slowly crawl into the window. It was soking wet but they couldn't see anything about him.
"Uh… guys…" Dan reached over and tapped both of them on the shoulder. VIvian was ecstatic to see him actually move forward like that, while Lester just looked confused at him.
Dan pointed to the end of the hallway, but didn't see anything.
"Dan, a-a-are you doing ok?" Lester looked up at his friend, obviously confused.
"Oh… sorry about that guys… I guess I was just seeing nothing…" Dan looked around a little but couldn't see anything in the darkness.
"We'll be fine" Vivian smiled a bit "even if it's a danger it's obviously part of the challenge"
"Yea, a-a-a-and I'll happily protect you" Lester smiled up at her with a meek grin. VIvian didn't respond and just started walking. Lester sighed sadly but followed along. Dan looked down to his friend before frowinging a little at Vivian.
However, before they walked off Dan felt somene reach around and grab him from behind, quickly dragging him away.

While most groups had been walking around outside, Vaughn's group had decided to go outside and look for any sign of an electrical box. Xavier was holding up their umbrella.
"A-a-are you guys s-s-sure ve should be o-o-outside in ze middle of a s-s-storm?" Aaron murmured nervously as he looked around the cliff leading down to the moat.
Vaughn shrugged "it's kinda a good idea. Chris would put it at the last place you would think. And I doubt most of our teammates would consider going out"
Vaughn went up to the walls and slowly walked around them. He looked over to the side seeing a power box as a grin grew on his face "looks like I found our way to victory boys"
Vaughn goes over and opens it without any worry, however, once it was open a wave of electricity struck him. He yelled in pain, quickly getting Xavier to try and come in to help him, only to get caught in the electricity with him.
Aaron quickly ran around and slammed the electric box shut. Xavier and Aaron slowly got back to their senses. Xavier hunched over and threw up off screen while Vauhgn was just coughing up smoke.
"A-a-a-are you t-t-two ok?" Aaron put his hand on Xavier's back with a small frown.
Xavier groaned as he stood up "we definitely have power. Which of you two idiots thought we could find the powersoure out here?"
Aaron stared blankly at Xavier before Vuaghn quietly raised his hand "s-s-sorry about that…"
"Of course it was you, you absolute moron" Xavier scowled before starting to head inside.
"H-h-hey! I'm sorry!" Vaughn chased after his friend, who never turned back to him. Aaron was completely flabbergasted before snapping out of it and chasing after them.
"A-a-are you t-t-two sure you're a-alright? Zat e-electrictiy m-might have messed v-v-vith you"
"We're fine, so just keep up will ya!?" Xavier scowled back to him, immediately shutting him up as he followed behind.

Dylan was quietly walking through the halls while holding up the flashlight. He had chosen to go alone for the challenge, but ended up having someone trail him without his approval. Dylan turned slightly to see Haden with a small smirk as he dusted a part of the wall.
"This place can be rather… dusty. I suppose it is a castle after all" Haden slowly turned to the other boy who was starting to walk away.
Haden followed close behind him, slowly walking beside him "you know Dylan, I wish we had the chance to talk more. Feels like you're the only one on this team I don't get to talk to much"
"I don't talk normally" Dylan stated plainly before just going back to complete silence.
Haden nods "I get it. Going for a man of mystery. I'm sure you bring all the girls to the yard with that" He couldn't help but smirk to himself, even as Dylan remained silent.
"hey, I don't mean to push you on questions or anything but do you remember what happened in the challenge after us guys went downstairs? I saw the group head upstairs so I want to hear how you five handled them so well" Haden decided to finally cut to the point with him.
Dylan, as per usual, just didn't say anything as he looked away from him. This received a small smirk from Haden.
"Oh come on, I'm just curious. Olena hasn't really talked with me much since you guys hung out…"
"I have no idea about them" Dylan finally spoke as he shrugged. However, Haden obviously didn't look very pleased with the answer.
"I believe you Dylan. I always found you to be a trustworthy guy" Haden smirked slightly as they walked "I just worry, y'know, Vaughn has Aaron and Xavier while Olena seems to be making some friends fast… it really feels like we're on the outside of the team, right? Once Olena deals with Oscar she more or less has the majority"
Dylan didn't respond, or even look over to him as he kept walking. Haden walked a little behind him with a smirk as he looked around "so where are we going anyways big guy?"
Dylan looked up and around before shrugging. Haden sighed softly, "well, ok, how about we go this way?" Haden just pointed into one of the many different rooms littering the hall.
Dylan shrugged and nodded as he walked in first. Haden was about to walk in when hands came down from the ceiling and grabbed him. Pulling him into the ceiling and disappearing. Haden stood there for a moment, he should've felt bad but just closed the door and went back on his way.

"I mean, maybe if he gave me more of an answer I would've gone to try and save him." Haden smirked and shrugged "but hey, I still put that seed into his head for later, that's all that matters. I just need to outthink a few more of them and our next elimination will be quite the time"

Oscar was awkwardly looking around, he ended up going in alone so he didn't really know what to do or where to go. So he just chose to take a relaxed approach and walked into the kitchen with a relaxed pace. He looked around the room before noticing a hunched over figure on the ground snacking on some food.
Oscar tensed up, but he had the courage to slowly make his way over. He got close enough to see it was a very short girl in black attire.
"Oh, Mina? Why aren't you with your team?" Oscar spoke in a hushed tone.
Mina slowly turned around, she looked sad as she had a hand inside a large cookie jar "oh, uh, we all chose to go our own seperate ways…"
"Eh, I guess same thing happened with my team," Oscar shrugged. "We can always search together if you want. I doubt we'll find the power before anyone else so consider it just us hanging out"
"Are you really not that worried about winning? Aren't you worried your team will eliminate you?" Mina murmured up to him.
"Eh, Olena will do what she does, she'll be out because of her own hubris before I go. Besides, I can't just leave someone by themself in the dark" Oscar smiled as he extended a hand.
Mina took another handful of the food into her mouth before taking his hand and pulling herself up "t-thanks. Uh, yea, I feel way better now" she chuckled awkwardly "p-please don't tell Chef that I went straight into his kitchen"

Mina was eating a chicken leg with a small smile "I, uh, may have been making excuses so Oscar wouldn't think I was just straight ignoring the challenge just to eat more of Chef's great food…" Mina started munching on her food again "but he's a nice guy, I have no idea why no one went and partnered up with him"

Every group continued on their quests to try and find wherever the generator was supposed to be. With Phoebi and Lucy being the only two going in the right direction. In fact, Lester and Vivian had been going in the entirely wrong direction this whole time.
"What do you mean Dan just wandered off?" Vivian groaned a little as they went up the stairs.
"I don't k-k-k-know, m-maybe he wanted us to have some a-alone time…"
Vivian stared down at him "Lester, I'm not interested can you get that? I didn't come here to start a relationship anyways! I just want to get along with everyone, that's all"
Lester turned to not look up at her as he whimpered softly. Vivian frowned slightly as she put a hand on his shoulder "h-hey, uh, I'm sorry Lester… I didn't mean to be mean like that…"
Lester looked up to her with tears in his eyes "y-y-y-yoou don't have to say anything…" he sniffed and rubbed his sleeve to get rid of the snot "I-I-I like a girl.. T-they turn me down… a-a-a-and then they make fun of me!" Lester started crying louder.
VIvian sadly frowned before quickly trying to smile at him "don't feel too bad Lester, I think of us as friends. You're not a half bad guy at all"
Lester sniffled as he looked up to her "s-s-s-so I got f-friendzoned?"
Vivian sighed a little "look Lester, we kinda just met… but I-I guess you never know what the future holds?" Vivian smiled awkwardly.
Lester immediately perked up "that's great to hear!" He went in for a hug that Vivian didn't return at all. However, as they hugged a shadowy figure appeared out of nowhere and pressed a button on a large remote, causing the ground under them to collapse in under them. Vivian immediately held Lester as she looked down at the deep pit they'll be falling down into. Lester just smiled at the fact he was chest height.
"Four down… so many more to go" they sighed a little as they disappeared again.

"Phoebi, Lucy, where did all you guys go!?" Olena called out with an annoyed expression. She groaned and slowly shook her head "I have no idea where thoes two went off with our map."
Rosalina was just writing in a notepad "hey Lena, Lena, Lena!"
Olena turned around, showing a little surprised by the new nickname "yes Rosalina, what can I help you with?" Olena flinched and quickly turned away from her hearing footsteps.
"Do you think Vincent and Dylan partnered up? I didn't see either walk out and they would totally be cute together right? Like, he's trying to hide away from his sister and then… in a moment of silence they slowly leaned towards each other and-" Rosalina was speaking faster and faster as she started blushing and drew more intensely.
However, she was quickly interrupted by Olena "could you please stop perving on our teammates Rosalina? One of the things I will not accept is my teammates lewding each other. It is simply inappropriate"
Rosalina slowly looked up to her "b-b-but that's like asking me not to breathe!"
Olena could hear the steps coming closer "c-can you at least try to tone it down around others? Your perversion is sorely unneeded"
Rosalina frowned a little but nodded slowly "ok, I'll keep it down for the others… if you promise to read my manga when challenges are over!" She had a huge grin on her face as she held her notebook up.
Olena sighed "fine fine. But only for ten minutes, got it?" Olena quickly turned around hearing a creek. However, while she obviously seemed nervous her cold exterior made it impossible to tell if she wasn't actually scared, at least to Rosalina.
"Oh, oh! Lena! Let me calm your nerves!" Rosalina smiled as she bounced where she stood.
Olena turned to her, with a deadpan expression "and how would you do that?" Olena could hear a noise just continually getting closer when Rosalina smiled and did a flip in the air.
"So, what did you think?" Rosalina raised her hands triumphantly.
"...ok, I'm kind of impressed" Olena emotionlessly admitted before turning to be face to face with the dark figure from earlier.
"Shi-" Olena was cut off by Rosalina grabbing her and sprinting away as fast as humanly possible.
Olean slowly looked down, very confused "w-when were you suddenly this strong?"
"Only two things get my adrenaline pumping, boys flirting and adventure!" Rosalina smiled excitedly before tripping over a hidden leg and going straight down a set of stairs with Olena first.
Rosalina and Olena landed at the bottom of the stairs. Olena was the first to slowly raise their head, seeing that they were now at the bottom of a dark room. Olena slowly got up, quickly trying to run to the door before it slammed shut.
Confessional: Olena
Olena's head was wrapped in a cast. She had her cold exterior but her angry aura was basically screaming her annoyance "Rosalina… is a handful… but I know she can be an asset to this team. I just know she can be! She's gotta have some skill beyond drawing boys… something…"

"I told you earlier, we already went into this room!" Violet groaned as Penny looked around the room for any sign of a power generator.
Penny glared back at her "are you sure it's the same room or does everything you see besides Vincent look shitty?"
"C-can we please not fight like this…?" Vincent murmured helplessly.
"I'm just saying I don't trust her. I bet she's sabotaging us so one of us falls on the chopping block again!"
"That's a big claim for someone with little to no social understanding"
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want me to make a small claim to fit you?" Violet smirked as she leaned towards her.
Vincent sighed, his sister didn't take any of his statements to heart. He was even sure Violet was being even nastier to Penny than she usually was. He looked out to the hall to see Julia and Dino just talking to each other without any problem. He turned back to Violet and Penny arguing before deciding his best bet was to just go off and join those two as he snuck out of the room and chased after the two.
"Hey guys!" Vincent called out, causing both of them to stop in their tracks.
Dino smiled and waved at him "Vincent, my main man! Great to see you're just walking around two. What happened to your sis and her plus one?"
"They… were a bit too argumentative. I just didn't want to deal with it for a whole challenge. Have you two found any luck with finding the power?"
Julia slowly shook her head "we ended up getting distracted" she side eyed Dino "because he had a badge for every single thing we passed by"
"Oh man, I thought you were impressed that I knew how to build furniture…" Dino groaned lowly.
"I told you not to tell any of the others about that" Julia murmured. "I knew you'd be the type to just say anything that comes to mind" Julia continued to mumble under her breath.
Vincent and Dino didn't hear her so the purple haired boy just smiled "hey, I'm glad to see the team has some good dynamics at work. Maybe you can crack Julia's shell someday aye?"
Julia didn't say anything and just went back to walking "if he can get me to open up I'll send a letter to the UN for a nobel peace prize"
Dino smiled a bit as he quickly followed after her "hey, I'd be honored if you were the one to help give me the best badge known to man. That would look so good on my sash!"
"Don't get too ahead of yourself boyscout" Julia stated coldly as she tried to ignore him to not burst a blood vessle.
"Come on, we spent all day together, you must have at least enjoyed part of it"
"None that I didn't lock deep in the recesses of my mind"
Vincent smiled as he followed the two "this is way better than a podcast"

The teams were slowly dropping down in number until really it was just a select few groups of teams the figure hadn't touched yet. To be specific, Phoebi and Lucy didn't know where anyone had gone. They soon reached a locked door. Lucy leaned over Phoebi's shoulder "is this the spot?"
Phoebi blushed but nodded her head quickly "y-y-yep yep! This map leads right to here"
Lucy grumbled looking at the lock "so, can you use that brain of yours to crack that lock open or will I just smash er?" Lucy cracked her knuckles.
"Don't bruise your firsts over a stupid puzzle from Chris! Besides, it's a puzzle from Chris. I could do it even if I lost thirty IQ points" Phoebi scoffed with a confident smirk.
"Oh of course. Go ahead" Lucy rolled her eyes as she took a step back.
Phoebi got on her knees and put her ear to the lock as she slowly started scrolling through the options. Lucy stood behind her and crossed her arms impatiently as she waited for her to finish it. However, as she stood there a figure slowly descended from the ceiling. They grabbed Lucy from behind and covered her mouth.
Lucy kicked in the air as she was slowly raised upwards. Before Lucy could fully be taken into the ceiling Phobe turned around and threw the lock at the asailants face.
"Nothing annoys me more than when a creep thinks he can just touch a cute girl no problem!" The assailant dropped Lucy and immediately crawled back away from the scene.
Lucy landed on her butt and looked up to Phoebi with a very angry face. Phoebi looked down to Lucy before practically diving on her with a hug "oh man I was so worried they were going to take you away!"
Lucy awkwardly pat her back "yea, uh, thanks for the assist there Phoebs…" she awkwardly looked away from Phoebi, soon seening Vaughn, Aaron, and Xavier looking down at them.
"Oh… h-hey guys" Lucy awkwardly waved at them, not sure what she could even say to not make this whole thing awkward.
Confessional: Lucy
Lucy chuckled nervously "I-I knew Phoebi kind of had a thing for me last challenge… it can't be more obvious in this case… but I realize this is going to be a problem if they ever find out… that. No way is she gonna take that well… so I think I'll just play the clueless romantic interest role until… one of us gets eliminated at least"

"What are you two just lying on the floor for?" Xavier scowled down at them.
"T-t-t-they probably took a s-short breat…" Vaughn murmured as he glanced away from them.
Lucy and Phoebi stared at them for a short moment before looking over at Aaron. Aaron just sighed and shrugged "z-z-zey got s-s-shocked… I d-d-don't really get i-i-i-it either…"
"Well, that part doesn't matter" Phoebi stood up while lifting Lucy up. "We got ourselves a challenge to win!"
"Is that why the vault is already open?" Xavier deadpanned. The two girls stared at him before slowly turning around to see the door was opened and the map was long gone.
"W-what?" Phoebi was slightly taken aback before Lucy raised her fist in annoyance.
"Of course that's it! The other team was distracting us! Those cheeky bastards!" Lucy practically screamed before running down the stairs and into the basement.
Phoebi quickly ran after her while the boys just kinda watched this transpire.
"S-s-s-should we go after them?"
"They're on our team, idiot. If they lost the directions and we're no longer in the lead we need to catch onto them!" Xavier smacked him on the back of the head before chasing them down the stairs. Vaughn whimpered but followed behind with his head held low.
"I-I-I-I-I don't know if I n-need to s-shock you two a-a-a-again or v-v-at…" Aaron sighed as he went along last.

Harmonia had an amused smile on her face as she quietly speed walked through the dirty basement. Easily avoiding all the cobwebs.
"My, this castle is inaccurate but they got the dust down well" Harmonia mused to herself. She turned her head slightly and moved out of the way as Lucy dived towards her.
"Oh, excuse me. I was in your way. I am truly sorry for that inconvenience" Harmonia stepped over Lucy as she kept on her merry way.
Lucy raised her head, still glaring at her as she got back up and went back to the chase. Phoebi and the rest of the Peasants tried to keep up with Lucy but she was way faster than the rest of them.
"S-she's so fast!" Aaron panted weakly.
"She's basically the only one on this team with any muscles" Phoebi weakly mumbled.
"She at least has more than this guy" Xavier smirked and pat Vaughn hard on the back with a snicker.

Penny and Violet had noticed Vincent wandered off and were looking everywhere for him.
"Vincent! Where'd you go Vincent!?" Penny called out as she looked from room to room.
"Great, you scared my brother off with your thirsting for him" Violet rolled her eyes.
"T-thirsting!? I just want to be friends with him, but I can't imagine he has any if you're constantly on his heels"
They both quickly went back to arguing, not noticing someone in the shadows pulling out a remote like earlier. But this time he clicked a button on a separate part of the controller, causing a ramp downwards to form under them. Both Jesters screaemed as they started descending fast.

Lucy was still chasing Harmonia down, quickly tackling her to the ground with a smirk "nice try, your diversion wasn't gonna work on someone like me!"
"Diversion? My dear, I did nothing involving who tried grabbing you. I had gone on my own actually"
"Yea, yea. Nice try trying to trick me again"
As Lucy was about to get up she heard screaming coming from above, resulting in Penny and Violet landing on top of her.
"Ugh, of course you landed us somewhere worse than before" Violet growled.
"You're the one who was leading the way" Penny grumbled as she slowly sat up and looked around. Looking confused when she finally saw the Peasants running up.
"Oh, hey, you guys fall down that pit too?" Penny rubbed the back of her head awkwardly.
Phoebi and Aaron hunched over once they finally caught up "g...get off Lucy" Phoebi tried to sound threatening.
Penny and Violet looked down. Penny slowly got up but Violet stayed there. Phoebi scowled and tried to pick Violet up.
"You can move me but Harmonia is already long gone" Violet smirked. The group of Peasants looked to where Harmonia had been to see she was just sprinting far far away.
"Dang it! Don't stand there let's hurry along" Xavier grabbed Vaughn and Aaron and dragged them along faster.
Harmonia was now in a much darker part of the basement, using her stolen flashlight to look around. She knew she was getting close to the powerbox, so she wasn't exactly worried.
Harmonia slowly wandered forward until finding the power box. She smiled to herself, and walked towards it before out of nowhere Vaughn was flung at the powerbox, sending a volt straight through him as he landed on the ground in a smoldering pile as smoke came off him.
Harmonia turned around to see Xavier with a smirk in a thrower's position "good use partner!" however, the power didn't turn on, at most it just caused the box to fizzle a bit.
"I don't think you quite know how turning on electricity works dear" Harmonia opened the electricbox door and flipped the switch up, causing the electricity to come back on.
"Ah, another win"
Xavier grumbled in annoyance as he walked over to Vaughn "oh way to go you screwed it all up!"
Vaughn looked up to him, glaring at him before pulling out a wire and electricuting Xavier.
"Don't talk down to me, jerk!" Vaughn let Xavier get shocked for quite some time until Xavier dropped down on the ground.
"S-sorry Vaughn..."

Once the power was back on, everyone dropped down from where they were taken, with Dylan falling from the ceiling; Olean and Rosalina got let out of the cellar; and Vivian and Lester were flung back out of a pit with Lester holding onto her tightly.
Olena sighed in relief "finally we can get out of here" the power turned back on and both Peasant girls could see Chris and Chef tied up in the same cellar as them.
"Woah, were you two doing… b-bondage together and got carried away!?" Rosalina asked in surprise, slowly starting to write in her notebook again.
Olena rolled her eyes slightly and went to untie them "guess the interns exaggerated where you two went off to…"
"They have some elaborating to do once we're out of here" Chris growled once the tape was off his lips.
"What could be worse than making them do bathroom duties?" Chef turned to their host.
"There's always laundry duty. Better make that next challenge real dirty" Chris snickered slightly.
"W-wait, so this wasn't planned?" Olena finally spoke up, getting a little nervous.
"Nope! Once the storm started someone tied us up. If this was a challenge we would've brought all the campers to one watching room until it was done"
Rosalina and Olena fearfully eyed each other.

Oscar and Mina looked up and smiled "oh, one of the teams won. Wonder which one it was" Oscar mused to himself.
Suddenly, everyone in the castle could hear on the announcements "congratulations contestants! The Jesters have won their second challenge of the season!" the voice however, wasn't Chef's or Chris's
"Well, congratulations to you and your team Mina" Oscar smiled "I should probably go and find my team"
"Later Oscar" Mina smiled as she went on her own way. As Oscar began to walk Haden dropped in front of him with a serious face.
"O-Oliver?" Oscar asked in shock.
"Oh, thank goodness Oscar. I seriously need to talk to you. There is something going on here and I don't trust the others." the detective pleaded.

Chris was groaning to himself as he flung some rope over his shoulder "well, we gave them their chores. Even if they didn't do this I had to take my anger out on something." the host deadpanned to his second in command.
"Eh, my money's on a disgruntled old contestant. Wouldn't be the first time one kidnapped you."
"Doesn't make it any less annoying" Chris cleared his throat "anyways! Peasants, you guys lost today, so one of you will be going home! Who will it be, who will it be?"
"Honestly half of our team could be on the chopping block" Phoebi rolled her eyes.
"Exactly right Olena! And lucky for you four, Rosalina, Phoebi, Oscar, and Olena are safe!"
…
Rosalina caught hers on her notebook with a proud smile, Olena and Phoebi meanwhile weren't too surprised and simply caught theirs. Oscar smiled as he caught his and popped it into his mouth.

"Vaughn and Aaron, you're both also safe!"

Aaron sighed in relief catching his while Vaughn caught his in his teeth with a smirk, glaring slightly at Xavier.

Xavier was starting to look nervous as he shook slightly in his seat, Haden was just sharing his usual smirk, Lucy was looking annoyed from the challenge still, and Dylan was just sitting there.
"Congratulations Xavier and Haden, you're also safe!" Chris threw the marshmallows at the two. Xavier finally relaxed in his seat while Haden smirked a bit to himself.

"That just leaves you two. Lucy, you failed to stop Harmonia, a woman in a gaudy dress from running past you. And Dylan, well, no one really feels close to you and they aren't so sure you weren't the one running around this challenge."
Dylan looked uninterested in the whole thing while Lucy was actually starting to look nervous. Phoebi scoffed "it's obviously Dylan. Who could willingly vote for Lucy? She's amazing!"
"Oh, it really is fun seeing that ego considering the votes" Chris smirked to himself "but let's just count the votes shall we?"

Phoebi was biting her nails, crossing her fingers while Lucy was slowly leaning forward.

"And the one going home is…. Dylan. You're out" Lucy sighed in relife as she caught her marshmallow.
"Any last… or basically third words Dylan?"
Dylan just shrugged, still not showing much interest.
"You fodder these days really don't want to leave with any fun do you?" Chris sighed but sent Dylan flying through the air in his coffin.
"Hu, it's almost like nothing changed" Vaughn murmured once Dylan was gone.

"Olena brought up voting out… I think his name was Dean? I can't even remember. Guy left that little of an impact really" she shrugged "better him than Lucy or me"

AN: and so we have our first mail eliminated contestant. This is another kinda hard one. Dylan has potential for becoming more social and simple character development, but with his silent personality and how the team is more or less becoming factioned off. Leaving Dylan as basically the only one who can't really squeeze his way into one of the groups with not talking. Even Oscar had a social game good enough to not make him the obvious outsider. But beyond that, who do you people think will be out next? I always love having theories for this kind thing
