It was 9:30 am as Anna and Kristin made it to the baggage claim at Heathrow Airport.
Suddenly, a thought popped into Anna's head before she spoke, "Wait, I forgot to check in with my parents."
She then pulled out her Annamunicator from her skirt pocket with her left hand and activated it.
Kim and Ron appeared on the screen soon after.
"Hey, Anna," Kim said with a smile.
"Hey, AC," Ron added with a smile. He then asked. "Did you safely make it to London?"
"I did," Anna replied with a smile. She then turned the screen towards Kristin. "And here's Kristin."
"Hey," Kristin waved with a smile.
"How are you two getting along?" Kim asked.
"We've become friends in just a matter of seconds," Kristin replied.
"I think it's really sweet you two have become friends," Kim said, happily. "I hope you kids have a great time at school together."
"We will," Anna spoke up as she turned to screen back towards herself. Just then, a buzzing sound was heard. "Well, we'd better get going; I need to retrieve my bags."
Kim nodded, "Of course; don't wanna forget them." She then waved. "Bye, Anna."
"We love you," Ron added with a wave.
"I love you guys too," Anna said. She then waved with her right hand. "Bye."
After the screen went black, Anna put the Annamunicator back in her pocket before she and Kristin proceeded to the nearby baggage conveyer belt.
It was 10:00 am as Kristin was waiting by a door to a changing room at a laundromat near the airport.
Just then, the door opened, revealing Anna wearing the exact same school uniform as Kristin.
"So, how do I look?" Anna asked with a smile.
"You look great!" Kristin commented with a smile. "And exactly like me too!"
The two pre-teens then looked at themselves in a mirror.
"I do look exactly like you," Anna agreed with Kristin.
"Let's head on over to LPA," Kristin suggested.
"I'm right behind you," Anna said.
With that, Anna and Kristin walked out of the laundromat and climbed into a taxi cab that was waiting for them.
Just after the cab drove off, Anna asked, "So, Kristin, how long have been going to LPA?"
"I've been going since I was a little girl," Kristin replied. "My parents back in Munich, Germany wanted me to learn the English language."
"Do you ever see or talk to your parents?" Anna asked.
Kristin frowned, "Hardly. They are so busy they don't have time to talk to, let alone visit me. Heck, because they're busy, I have never been able to visit them during weekends and vacations. Couple that with the fact they live so far away."
"You never talked to or visited your parents and vice versa?" Anna asked in disbelief.
Kristin shook her head, "Nope. Although I've written them letters, they never wrote back."
"I'm so sorry you hardly ever get to see or talk to your parents," Anna said with sympathy.
"It's okay, Anna," Kristin assured.
"Who do you spend your weekends and vacations with?" Anna asked.
Kristin smiled a little, "I spend them with the headmaster of LPA, John Churchill; his wife, Jackie; and their son, William, who's also my best friend. I always look forward to spending time with them; they're like a second family to me."
Anna smiled a little, "I'm so glad that you, in a way, have family to spend time with."
"Me too," Kristin said. She soon thought of something else and changed subjects. "Say, Anna, changing subjects, you remember telling me that you are willing to tap dance for me sometime?"
Anna nodded, "Yes."
"Do you think you could teach me how to tap dance?" Kristin asked.
Anna smiled, "Of course, Kristin; I'll be more than happy to teach you."
"Here we are," The taxi driver announced as he pulled up to the front of the London Preparatory Academy.
Later, Anna and Kristin entered a dorm room.
"This is where you'll be rooming with me," Kristin said as she showed Anna the dorm room.
"Amazing," Anna commented as she looked around the dorm room. She then asked. "So, where's your other roommate?"
"She was selected to go to your school in Broy," Kristin replied. "Her name's, Hazel Briggs." She then frowned. "But I feel bad that she was selected."
"How come?" Anna asked, confused.
"She told me the person that was selected to guide her is a complete jerk," Kristin replied.
"Who's the guide's name?" Anna asked.
"Connie Waller," Kristin replied.
Anna scowled, "I know that girl. She's my tap-dancing rival and a complete jerk. She even made one of my closest friends cry last year at a dance contest."
"That's horrible," Kristin commented.
Anna smiled a little, "But I was able to encourage my close friend, Ellie Kelly is her name, to never let Connie, or any jerk like her, get the best of her."
"Did Ellie win the dance contest?" Kristin asked.
"She won," Anna replied. "And even though I lost, I was happy to see Ellie make Connie lose."
"That's great Ellie won and you supported her victory," Kristin commented. She then took a breath before speaking, again. "Now, let's go meet up with Headmaster Churchill."
"I'm right behind you," Anna said.
With that, the two girls walked out of the dorm room and to the headmaster's office.
Later, Anna and Kristin reached the door to the headmaster's office.
Kristin knocked.
"Come in," Came a male voice.
Kristin opened to door before she and Anna walked inside to see a man with black hair, brown eyes, fair skin, and wearing a grey suit.
The man noticed the two kids, smiled, stood up, and waved, "Hello!"
Kristin then introduced the man to Anna, "Anna, this is Headmaster, John Churchill."
"It's nice to meet you Headmaster Churchill," Anna commented, smiling before she and Churchill shook hands.
"It's nice to meet you too, Miss Stoppable," Churchill commented. He then raised an eyebrow and asked. "You are Miss Stoppable, right?"
"I am," Anna replied to the headmaster's question.
"My apologies," Churchill said in an apologetic tone. "You two are very hard to tell apart."
"We are," Anna and Kristin agreed in unison.
"Anyway," The headmaster continued. "I would like to say that it is an honor for you to be attending this school for a few weeks. You have no idea how many of us were looking forward to you coming here. After all, you saved our country, earned the Victoria Cross for it, and became an honorary member of the British royal family. You really are a hero."
Anna shook her head, "Nah, I'm just a basic average girl who's here to save the world. As well as tap dance for it."
"And if a mission comes up that requires your assistance," Churchill continued. "I will allow it."
"Thanks," Anna said in appreciation.
"You're welcome," Churchill said in appreciation. "Do you have any questions, comments, or concerns?"
Anna shook her head, "None that I can think of."
The three then stood up from their seats.
The headmaster sighed with a smile, "Well, I do hope you enjoy your time here."
Anna nodded, "I will."
Churchill waved, "I'll see you kids later."
"You too," Anna and Kristin both waved in unison.
With that, Anna and Kristin walked out of the office and closed the door behind them.
Just after walking out of the headmaster's office, Kristin asked, "Shall we begin the tour?"
Anna nodded, "Of course."
Just then, Kristin's cellphone rang.
"Hello?" She answered it. "Hey, William! That's great! I'm glad you are having a great time! I was just about to take Anna on a tour of LPA. I'll talk to you later. Bye."
She then hung up her cellphone.
"Was that, William?" Anna asked.
Kristin turned to Anna and nodded, "Yes. He's part of the exchange program and is currently attending school in Sydney, Australia." She then took a breath before continuing. "Now, shall we begin the tour?"
"You know it!" Anna said, happily.
With that, the two pre-teens walked off.
Later, at 1:00 pm, Anna and Kristin, with trays of lunches in their hands, walked over to a table in the dining hall and sat down.
"That was quite the tour," Anna commented with a smile. "Thanks for showing me around."
"Anytime, Anna," Kristin said with a smile. "And tomorrow will be the first day you will be attending the same classes I attend."
"I'll be looking forward to that," Anna said. She then thought of something and changed subjects. "Say, Kristin, I was wondering…"
"About what?" Kristin asked with a confused look in her face.
"I would like to get to know you more," Anna replied.
Kristin smiled, "I was gonna say the same to you."
"What do you like to do?" Anna asked.
"I like to do gymnastics, swimming, running, martial arts, figure skating, snowboarding, singing and ballet," Kristin replied. She then asked. "What do you like to do?"
"I like to do all the things you just mentioned, except ballet," Anna replied. "I've done ballet before, but I stopped taking it after one class after puking."
"I'm so sorry for what happened," Kristin said with sympathy. "If you should know, I puked during my first ballet class too. But still wanting to do ballet, I had to take stomach medicine to do so. But I've been getting tired of ballet and wanna switch to tap dancing."
"And I'll be more than happy to teach you tap," Anna added. She then asked. "Another question, when's your birthday?"
"I was born on August 12th, 1994," Kristin replied.
Anna couldn't believe it, "What? No Way! I was born on that same date!"
"What an amazing coincidence!" Kristin commented.
Anna soon spoke, "You know, Kristin, getting to know you already, it's as if you could be my twin sister."
"Do you have a twin sister?" Kristin asked.
Anna's smile soon faded, "Had one. She died the same day we were born. Her name was also, Kristin."
Kristin's smile faded, "I'm so sorry for your loss."
Anna then continued, "I know this sounds weird but, ever since you and I first met in person, I've felt like I've known you all my life. I don't know why, I just do."
"I feel the same way," Kristin said. She then took a breath before continuing. "Even though you and I aren't related, will it be alright if I considered you an honorary twin sister?"
Anna smiled, "Of course."
Kristin smiled, "Thanks, Anna!"
The two girls then embraced in a hug.
