Chapter 3: There's Two of Them?

It was September 1st at 2:40 pm as Anna and Kristin walked back into their dorm room with smiles on their faces.
"So, Anna, did you enjoy your first day of school here?" Kristin asked.
"You know it!" Anna replied, happily. "There were great teachers, classes, and classmates."
Kristin soon thought of something and spoke, "You know, if you ever wanna transfer here I can talk to Headmaster Churchill and he can make that happen."
"Thanks," Anna said. She then shook her head. "But no thanks. This school may be great, but HHP is my home and my family lives in the town said school is in. Thanks for the offer though."
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"What's the sitch, Wade?" Anna answered her hand-held Annamunicator.
"Anna, Professor Dementor and Duff Killigan have kidnapped an aide to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom," Wade announced. "The British Parliament needs you to rescue him."
Anna's face turned serious as she asked, "Do you know the villains' whereabouts?"
"According to a hot tip I received, they are on Killigan's Island," Wade replied.
"Have a ride for me ready and I'll be on my way," Anna said.
"Already have," Wade announced. "There's a limo outside waiting to take you to Buckingham Palace where a Royal Marine helicopter is waiting behind the palace to take you to Killigan's Island."
"Thanks, Wade," Anna said in appreciation. She then remembered something. "Also, contact my dad and tell him I wish him a happy birthday."
"Today is your dad's birthday?" Kristin spoke up.
Anna turned to Kristin and nodded, "Yup, he turns 19 today."
Kristin smiled, "I wish him a happy birthday as well."
"I'll let Ron know you both wished him a happy birthday," Wade announced.
Anna looked back down at Wade, "Thanks, Wade."
After the screen went black, Kristin spoke up, "I'm coming with you on the mission."
Anna looked up at Kristin, "Kristin, this could be dangerous. Plus, the headmaster may have my head if I put you in danger."
Kristin chuckled, "Anna, it's okay. I talked to Headmaster Churchill about going on missions with you and he's okay with it; he thought you may need a partner to go on missions with."
Anna nodded, "Very well."
"Plus," Kristin continued. "I have some mission clothes of my own."
Anna soon thought of something and asked, "Actually, are you up to wearing a spare pair of mission clothes I have on this mission?"
"Why do you ask?" Kristin asked.
Anna smirked, "I just thought up a wild idea to defeat Dementor and Killigan."
"What did you have in mind?" Kristin asked, eagerly.
Later, Professor Dementor and Duff Killigan, along with a few of the former's henchmen, were looking at a man wearing a suit tied to a chair with his mouth taped shut in the basement of the castle on Killigan's Island.
"So, what should we do with this, ladie?" Duff Killigan asked Dementor.
"Ve shall hold him for ransom," Dementor replied to Killigan's question.
"Shouldn't we make a video and send it to the British Parliament?" Killigan asked.
"Not yet," Dementor said. "Not until after we capture, Anna Stoppable."
"Why would you wanna capture that Norwegian lassie?" Killigan asked.
"So, ze British Parliament vill have to pay double!" Dementor replied. "Anna Stoppable's considered a great hero in ze UK and an honorary member of ze British Royal Family."
"The only thing that's paying double is you and Killigan!" Came a familiar female voice.
Everyone in the basement looked up at the open door to the basement to see Anna with her hands on her hips.
"Vell, Vell, Vell," Dementor said with a smirk. "If it isn't Anna Stoppable. Vhere's your parents?"
"It's just me this time," Anna lied.
"Get her!" Dementor ordered his henchmen.
The henchmen saluted before they charged up the stairs.
Anna quickly ran towards the front entrance to the castle and hid behind a corner.
Just after the henchmen ran through the basement door, they heard it shut and lock behind them.
They turned to see what appeared to be Anna leaning against the door.
"Come get me!" She said.
The henchmen ran towards Anna as she hid behind a corner.
"Over here!" Came Anna's voice, only from behind.
The henchmen turned to see Anna at the front entrance.
"Come and get me!" She said.
The henchmen then charged towards her as she hid behind a corner.
"Hey!" Came Anna's voice from behind.
The Henchmen turned to see Anna standing at the basement door.
"Come get me!" She said before hiding behind a corner.
Then, over the course of a few minutes, Anna seemingly appeared at the basement and front doors quickly and with the henchmen constantly running and changing direction.
Soon, the henchmen got tired and dropped to the ground.
Just then, the door to the basement broke down as Dementor and Killigan came running out.
They soon stopped before Dementor turned to Killigan, "Next time, remember to keep some exploding golf balls and clubs in ze basement."
"I'll make sure of that," Killigan groaned.
Dementor soon noticed his henchmen on the ground, "Vhy are you idiots napping on ze job?!"
"The girl..." The first henchman spoke.
"Kept moving," The second henchman added.
"From one place to another," The third henchman added.
"Very quickly," The fourth and last henchman added.
"Couldn't catch her," All the henchmen said in perfect unison.
Suddenly, Dementor and Killigan noticed what appeared to be two Annas charging at them from their left and in front.
Before Dementor and Killigan could react, they were pushed into each other and fell down to the ground.
"Tok deg!" One Anna said in Norwegian.
"That would mean, 'got you', in my language!" The other Anna added in English.
"There's two of them?" Killigan gasped in disbelief.
"Du gjettet riktig," The first Anna said.
"Speak English!" Dementor ordered.
"I'm speaking Norwegian so you guys could tell me and Kristin apart," Anna pointed out. "What I just said in Norwegian was: you guessed right."
"My henchmen will get back up and get you two!" Dementor warned.
"We don't think so," Kristin spoke up. She then looked up at Anna. "Anna?"
Anna then pressed a button on her Annamunicator and said, "Royal Marines, you're clear to enter!"
Just then, a group of Royal Marines started pouring into the castle.
The villains and the henchmen got back up and raised their hands in surrender as they were surrounded by the Royal Marines.
Anna and Kristin ran down into the basement to untie the aide.
Just as they made it to the bottom of the stairs, Anna and Kristin ran up to the aide.
Anna managed to untie the aide's ropes while Kristin removed the tape covering his mouth.
"Thanks for saving me, Miss Stoppable," The aide said with a smile as he stood up from the chair he was tied to. "Which one of you is, Miss Stoppable?"
"Jeg er," Anna said with a smile, getting the aide's attention. "That would mean: 'I am', in your language."
"You two are really hard to tell apart," The aide commented.
"We get that a lot," Kristin spoke up. "I'm Anna's lookalike, Kristin Müller."
Anna then spoke, "The villains had no idea they were up against identical twins the whole time until it was too late."
"Are you two really twin sisters?" The aide asked.
Anna shook her head, "We're not biological twin sisters." She then nodded her head. "But we are honorary twin sisters."
The aide soon thought of something and spoke, "You know, my wife is a doctor who specializes in DNA testing at Saint Mary's Hospital in London. Perhaps I could see if she can do a DNA test on you and your lookalike tonight if you two want just for the fun of it. It's the least I could do after you two rescued me."
Anna and Kristin turned to each other, nodded once, and turned back to the aide.
"We're in," Anna and Kristin said in perfect unison.
It was the next day, September 2nd at 8:00 am, as Anna and Kristin were standing in an area in front of Buckingham Palace. They were both wearing knee-length dresses, headbands, and black patent Mary Jane shoes. The only difference between the outfits were the colors of the dresses and headbands; Anna's dress and headband was red while Kristin's was light blue. They were both standing on tap dance boards and each holding a black dance cane with white tips in their hands.
"Say, Anna?" Kristin asked.
"Yes, Kristin?" Anna answered.
"I want to thank you again for agreeing to teach me how to tap," Kristin said with a smile.
Anna smiled, "You're welcome, Kristin."
"And I'm amazed that you were able to quickly get me tap shoes, a tap dance board, a dance cane, and a perfect dance outfit."
"That's the power of Lapezio's instant delivery."
Kristin soon remembered something and changed subjects, "You know, Anna, I was just thinking."
"About what?" Anna asked.
"I wonder when we will get the results of that DNA test we took last night," Kristin replied.
"I wonder too," Anna said. "It can sometimes take a few days or so. Now, are you ready to learn how to tap?"
Kristin nodded, "Yes."
Anna then began, "Okay, first we are going to start off with a shuffle."
It was 11:00 am as Anna was watching Kristin tap dancing impressively.
Soon, Kristin stopped tap dancing.
Nearby pedestrians who saw the dance gave a round of applause before going on their way.
"That was amazing!" Anna commented. "You are without a doubt on the road to becoming an excellent tap dancer, like me."
"I am a fast learner," Kristin said. She then noticed a nearby clock and asked Anna. "Wanna go back to the school and have lunch?"
"That sounds great," Anna agreed with a smile.
Later, at 11:30 am, Anna and Kristin sat down at a table in the dining hall with trays of lunches.
"So, Anna, after lunch what do you wanna do?" Kristin asked.
"Let's work on our homework after lunch," Anna suggested. "Afterward, we will figure out where to go from there."
"That sounds like a great idea," Kristin agreed.
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"Go, Wade," Anna answered her hand held Annamunicator.
"Anna, I just got word from the owner of the restaurant, Jack's Bar and Grill, in London," Wade announced. "He would like for you to tap dance there Friday night at seven."
Anna smiled, "Tell the restaurant owner I'll be there."
"Can I perform with you?" Kristin asked.
Anna turned to Kristin, "Of course you can."
"I'll inform the owner that you two will both be performing Friday night," Wade announced. "Wade out."
After the screen went black, Kristin thought of something and spoke, "Say, Anna?"
"Yes, Kristin?" Anna answered.
"I have a wild idea for a tap dance routine."
"What did you have in mind?"
It was the night of September 5th at 7:00 pm at Jack's Bar and Grill as people in the restaurant were eating dinner.
Then, the lights dimmed and a few spotlights shined upon a stage that had what appeared to be a large mirror frame.
Then, Anna and Kristin, walked onto the stage and took positions on opposite sides of the mirror frame.
They were both wearing white collard shirts, black tuxedo jackets, light-blue vests, black skirts, red bow ties, black top hats with light-blue bands, black tights, and black patent Mary Jane tap shoes. They also had their hair in ponytails and were holding black dance canes with white tips.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!" A voice announced over the speaker. "Please welcome, twin tap dancers, Anna Stoppable and Kristin Müller!"
Soon, piano music started playing before Anna and Kristin started dancing to the rhythm and reflecting each other's moves.
It was 8:00 pm as Anna and Kristin entered their dorm room with smiles on their faces.
"That was great!" Anna commented.
"I had a great time!" Kristin commented.
"That was an awesome idea to do a mirror tap dance routine," Anna commented.
"Since we both looked identical it seemed like a great idea," Kristin said.
"And it was really nice the owner gave each of us gift certificates to his restaurant for our performance tonight," Anna commented.
"It was nice," Kristin agreed. "I wonder what could make tonight more amazing."
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"What's the sitch, Wade?" Anna answered her Annamunicator.
"Anna, I just got the results from the DNA test you and Kristin took," Wade announced.
"Well, what are the results?" Kristin spoke up.
Wade took a deep breath, "There's a DNA match."
Anna and Kristin both went wide-eyed and said, "You mean…?"
"Yes," Wade said. "You two are biological twin sisters."
Anna and Kristin couldn't believe what they just heard.
