Chapter 2! Imma just say, it was a little unexpected for the story to gain followers and favorites like it did. I was in school the next day when I checked and I got so friggin excited! Thank you all so much for checking out my story.

In light of the first ever review on Tsuchigumo, I've come up with, and may incorporate previous ideas into the story and into Izuku's power system. Thank you Wizardwolf 1020.

Let me also say, this story takes place in a world where Spider-Man PS4/Miles Morales and My Hero Academia collide, if it wasn't clear in the first chapter. Being that the original MHA takes place mostly in Japan, it's not too far-fetched for me to change up the American setting. (I-Island from the movie doesn't count. That'll still be used somewhere.)

This'll also be a three-shot now instead of two chapters. Just cuz.

Enough talk! Let's get on with the show! Plus Ultra!!

As Izuku walks down the hallway looking for his dorm room, he wonders what kind of hero he'd be. It didn't take long for Miles's encouragement to take root for the green bean. He hadn't been filled with this much excitement since the days he saw the video of All Might's debut. He might as well have given that video ten-thousand views himself, if not more.

Izuku had finally arrived at his dorm room, room B1-A. He fished the key out of his pocket and unlocked the door, finding a bunk bed, two dressers and two desks and chairs. The room was very bare, and barely had anything of value. Thankfully, in Izuku's bags were posters and figurines of everyone's favorite number 1 hero. He'd also gone to the store recently and bought a few posters of heroes from America, so he didn't look like too much of a fanboy.

As soon as Izuku started unpacking, another boy entered the room, with a suitcase and backpack. He was around 5'10 with silver-white hair, and freckles scattered around his face. As soon as he walked in, he put his things down.

"Uh, which bed are you taking," The silver-haired kid asked.

Izuku was a little confused and freaked out. The other boy had bags under his eyes and looked super tired. And considering how bare the room was, and that his bags were unpacked, the green bean machine deduced the other kid was new as well.

"Take whichever one you want," Izuku said with a nervous smile.

The other boy yawned before giving a thumbs up and climbing onto the top bunk. He didn't even cover himself in the blankets, he was just gone. Izuku chuckled a little at the sight and continued unpacking. He had taken the desk towards the window and already had a bunch of his All Might action figures and funko pops in place, with a few other heroes like Iron-Man, Captain America, and Black Widow.

About an hour after Izuku had finished setting up his area, the boy with silver hair had woken up with a burning passion.

"Ah! That's the best nap I've had in a long time!"

The boy proceeds to set up his desk in record time. Literally speaking, seeing as it only took 3 seconds. Izuku deduced it was a speed quirk and quickly began taking notes on the nameless boy.

"Hey, what's your name," the boy asked while sipping a soda.

"Oh, I'm Izuku Midoriya. And yours?" Izuku was a little surprised at how he was able to speak a full sentence to someone other than his parents without stumbling. It made him a little happy though.

"I'm Pietro Maximoff. The Quicksilver. Also the fastest person on the planet," He says with a cocky grin.

Izuku chuckled at his self-proclaimed title and continued taking notes. All he had was that he could complete simple tasks in a minimal amount of time, and that getting from point A to point B must not take very long, but he needed more information.

"W-would it be alright if I got some information on your quirk?" Pietro had to admit, the question was pretty ballsy, but he had no real reason to refuse. He always loved meeting a fan.

"Yeah sure! Whaddya need to know?"

"Anything and everything! Sorry if that sounds weird, but it helps a lot."

Now Izuku was excited. He was excited before, but now you can really see the sparkle in his eyes. The iris almost came off as a neon green, with the pupils looking a bright white.

"Well, my quirk is super speed. It affects every part of me, including how much I eat. I have a very fast metabolism, so I can eat as much as I want without getting fat. I can also think very fast too. It doesn't make me smarter, but if we're having a conversation, chances are I thought of a response the picosecond after you finished your thought."

Izuku was taking all of this in like a sponge, and writing it all out in his notebook. He even had a mini drawing of Pietro already on the page to go with it, serving as a model/manikin for the different points of his body.

"Thank you. This really helps," Izuku says excitedly. Taking notes on heroes was one of his favorite things to do. He'd spend days watching videos frame by frame learning all he could, from ultimate moves to even the ways heroes walked. He'd even purposefully go to a big scene just to get a few lines. It was reckless, but the green haired kid had faith in the heroes.

After a few minutes the boys hear a knock on the door.

"Ah, that's for me," Pietro says, already at the door. His speed was useful in just about any situation. He opened the door for a 5'3 girl with red hair. She was wearing a red leather jacket, a black skirt and leggings, with boots on.

"Izuku, this is my sister, Wanda Maximoff," Pietro announces. He could see Izuku's nervousness in the situation. Izuku didn't talk to many girls, so it seems likely he wouldn't understand how to address the situation.

"H-hello… n-nice to m-meet you." He stiffly extends his hand in an attempt to shake her hand. She returns the gesture and greets him warmly.

"Nice meeting you too," she says in the sweetest of tones. Izuku's cheeks flushed a bright red as he was now holding the hand of a girl. Her skin was baby smooth. To Izuku, it felt like a cloud. They had broken the handshake leaving Izuku a little more flustered than before.

Pietro and Wanda talked for a bit while Izuku was completing homework. The two teenagers then left after sharing goodbyes. They had apparently planned to go to the bodega beforehand. Pietro had asked if Izuku wanted to join, but the green bean turned them down. He didn't want to intrude. Instead, after completing his work, he went to watch his favorite video. The debut of All Might, saving everyone from a dangerous fire.

The video barely had any context, but what mattered was that the current Number 1 hero had saved anyone with a big grin, yelling his famous catchphrase

"Fear not citizens! Hope has arrived, because I am here!" Those words filled Izuku with hope and determination. He wanted to be able to smile like that in the face of danger, and say those words. Although with every downfall he's faced, there was now that little black hole of doubt.

On the way to the bodega, Pietro and Wanda turned into an alley, as that was their shortcut. Though in the alley, they find a woman being mugged by a 6'4 male with a black hoodie. Neither of them were heroes, but no one said that you couldn't use it in self defense. Especially since the man had turned the gun to the siblings.

"The hell are two kids doing here? Might wanna leave before a bullet ends up in your skull," the mugger threatens.

Pietro chuckled. Wanda rolled her eyes. They were frankly unamused, and really just wanted to get a soda or something. The mugger was red with rage as he began shooting at the kids. Pietro's speed was enough to deal with the bullets as he caught all of them before they hit. The mugger was shaking as Pietro dropped all the bullets onto the floor.

"Damn…" the mugger knew he messed up. He was at least sensible enough to know when he was defeated. Pietro grabbed the mugger and ran him to the police station, while Wanda took care of the woman from earlier. She was still a little shaken, but grateful to the two teens.

"Alright! Mugger taken care of," Pietro says, basically popping up out of nowhere.

"AH!! Pietro, you idiot, I told you to stop doing that!"

"HA! Sorry, I couldn't help myself. It's too fun seeing you jump!"

The siblings had walked with the woman and made sure she was safe before leaving for the bodega. She expressed her gratitude by giving the young Maximoffs money in return. They tried to refuse, but the lady was very persistent. Pietro and Wanda reluctantly took the money and thanked the lady for it. After parting ways with the woman, they headed straight for their destination. As soon as they got there, Pietro went straight for the soda aisle. He loved the taste of soda and the way it ran down his throat. The carbonation was amazing to him.

Wanda on the other hand went to the candy aisle. She was looking for her favorite candy. A good ol' snickers bar. There was something about them that just made her feel safe. Maybe it was the warm chocolate, or the way the creamy caramel tasted. Whatever it was, she loved it.

They had both walked up to the cashier to complete their purchases. Pietro with four different sodas, and Wanda with six snickers bars. They had paid, thanked the cashier and left. Pietro had taken his pick of his first soda, now enjoying a pepsi. Soda was one of the only things he'd ever enjoy slowly. It was fizzy and fun, and he enjoyed every second of it.

"We should head back. The front gate of the school locks at 7:15," the young witch says speed walking.

"Well, there's always the option of running." Pietro is about to pick up Wanda before he gets a hand in his face pushing him back.

"You know I hate it when you do that. You're always like 'Let's just run!' Can't you ever take things slow," she scolds.

"I mean, soda, but that's about it," Pietro chuckles.

It'd be a while before the two of them made it back, due to the very large pet peeve of Wanda. They had gotten back around five minutes before the doors locked. Incredibly lucky. Otherwise, they'd need a pass to get back in, and neither of them had brought their IDs with them.

Is this a weird place to end the chapter? I feel like it might be. But it felt so rambly, so I had to do it. Either way, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I hope to have Izuku gain his powers next chapter.

This Blaze Is Burned Out.
