Chapter 3. This'll be the chapter where Izuku gets his new powers. With a certain villain from the new Spider-Man trailer. Btw, I really hope Toby and Andrew join the movie! I'd love to see the interactions between the Peters.

Izuku will gain his powers and have small bursts of them activating, but as far as him being a hero, I'll leave up to future me and those future chapters. I will tell you now, Izuku will have a power similar to Miles's venom shock.

Anyways, let's rock and roll! PLUS ULTRA!!

It's now Friday. Students are free to visit home on weekends seeing as there's obviously no school on the weekends. Izuku was currently on the bus waiting for his stop in Queens. It wasn't too far from the school, but it did give him time to check out the news in Japan. Apparently, All Might had caught a sludge villain about to take over a young man's body. It was a very frightening concept, but Izuku was glad the number one hero was able to protect another soul.

The bus had stopped at the corner two blocks from Izuku's house. He was getting pretty tired of sitting there, so he took the opportunity and walked the rest of the way. On the way to the house, he was thinking about the kind of hero he'd be. He'd done some research on the American heroes. Heroes like Iron-Man and Black Widow caught his eyes specifically. They had no quirks but still managed to fight and keep everyone safe.

Izuku unlocked his front door once he arrived, hanging up his jacket. No one seemed to be home, so he went to take a nap in his room. It had been an eventful day, full of exercise, worksheets, and note taking. Izuku was happy to be home to say the least. There's nowhere else he'd rather be on the weekends. This was most likely due to not having many friends to hang out with, but the boy felt that it may soon change.

About an hour into his nap, the front door opened, revealing Izuku's mother in a yellow cardigan and jeans holding a few grocery bags. She had dropped her keys on the kitchen counter and began unpacking the contents of the grocery bags. After a few minutes, Izuku came down to greet his mother. He found her cutting up chicken and boiling rice. He had made sure to make his presence known so he didn't startle her.

"Hi Izuku! How was your week at school," Inko asks as she finishes with the chicken.

Izuku had over a thousand things he wanted to tell his mother. He's making friends, he talked to a girl for the first time, he wasn't ostracized for being quirkless. Someone even believed in his dream of being a hero for the first time ever. He couldn't say that last one though. Izuku's parents were trying their best to support their son, but telling them about Miles's support would be like an insult to their parental skills.

"It was really good. Really, really good actually," The young man says with his eyes sparkling.

Once Inko saw how bright those eyes sparkled, she started to tear up. It'd been so long since that light shone. She could sense the spark of hope and determination and it made her really happy to see it again after years.

"I'm really glad," she says, wiping her eyes.

A few more minutes pass. Izuku is helping Inko with the cooking, and Hisashi walks in taking off his hat and coat. The stereotypical American dad thing to do. Or at least it was in the 90's. He greets his wife with a kiss and Izuku with a hug and a head pat before going to his bedroom to change clothes. Once he came back down, he'd find dinner complete. It progressed quicker with Izuku's help, which Inko was very grateful for.

After everyone finished eating, Inko took everyone's plates while Izuku told Hisashi about his week. Hisashi was pleased his son was enjoying his time, and was working hard while doing so. He also felt remorseful for not supporting his dream. That was something he wanted to change.

"Hey Izuku, I know how much you like taking notes on heroes, so I got you a new notebook," he says, pulling out the notebook from his case. One thing was for sure, when he presented, he presented in style. The notebook was green with 'Izuku Midoriya' in red bold text written on the front. It had been specially ordered for him on Wednesday.

Izuku was trying to hold back tears, but Hisashi could see he'd explode with tears like Mt. Fuji. He chuckled seeing this and gave his son a hug. He didn't say it often, but he loved Izuku and would do anything to protect him.

"Thank you," Izuku says with very happy tears in his eyes.

The next day Izuku heads out into the city to take some notes. He wasn't sure he'd find any big fights, but there were plenty of heroes around and wanted to get some answers for the many questions he had. So far he hadn't gotten anything. He was nervous on how to start the conversation, but he knew he'd get something.

After an hour of walking, Izuku still hasn't gotten anything written. He was sitting on a park bench with a milkshake he bought from the concessions stand, feeling a little defeated. It was a small thing to be upset about, he would admit, but it was still his biggest passion.

Getting up to go home, Izuku hears crashing in the distance, car alarms blaring. He immediately took off running, throwing his finished shake in the nearest trash can. If this was what he thought it was, he'd finally get to see some action.

Peter was fighting Otto Octavious. A genius who developed many weapons and techniques to kill Spider-Man. Somehow though, each time, almost as if Peter had plot-armor in an anime, he never succeeded.

"You won't defeat me this time Peter. You'll die before you can foil my plans again." He was very confident he could win this time. Ever since their fight the last time, Otto had become crazier in isolation. The genius of a scientist, plus being a complete psychopath never meant anything good.

"If this is about Norman, you'll probably have to take it to court Otto," Peter remarks, dodging Otto's arms. He'd upgraded them with lazers, small missiles, and incredibly sharp blades, sharp enough to cut a tree with one swipe. You'd never want to be on the other side of those things.

Just when Peter was about to be hit with a missile, a web caught them and redirected them at Otto.

"Hey! Didn't think we'd have to fight this early." Miles has appeared to join the fight.

"Hey! Perfect save! Like it was out of a video game," Peter says, now standing next to his apprentice.

"Thanks, I've been working on my entrances. Do you practice those poses beforehand, or…"

"I'll tell you how I do it once we take out Oc. It'll be easier if we have two heroes to take him out."

"Will both of you shut up and DIE?!" Otto is now shooting lasers at the heroes, destroying anything in his path. Peter runs in attempting to keep damage to a minimum, but gets grazed by one of the lasers in his arm. The burn was white hot, burning miserably. In his pain, Otto pins him to a wall, leaving Miles alone to dodge lasers.

"Well Peter, it seems as if I'm on my way to finally killing you. Do you have any last words," Otto asks, claw to Peter's eye.

"As a matter of fact, I do! Miles! NOW!"

As soon as Peter gives the order, Miles shoots his webs at Otto.

"What is this puny attempt?"

Miles winks as he electrifies his webs with his venom blast, shocking Otto to the floor. Once Peter was released he tied Otto win webs restraining him.

"Look Doc… you really don't have to kill Norman. Just go through the proper channels, and you can sue him or something," Peter says as he writes a note for the police.

Izuku had just gotten a lot of notes. The fight that had just taken place was breathtaking. Both Spider-Men had handled the situation flawlessly. They had swung away once the battle was over, leaving Otto for the inevitable police to come take him. The street had filled up again with civilians once the battle was over. Izuku had walked over, taking a look at Otto's decommissioned arms off to the side.

"These are incredible. It must take a lot of brain power to operate them." Izuku continues mumbling while taking notes. While he's distracted taking notes, a capsule containing a spider emerges from one of the arms. The spider breaks out and jumps on Izuku, hiding. Izuku is none the wiser.

Izuku puts his notebook away, satisfied and happy with his findings. He walks to the nearest bus stop to get home. Very excited to look over his findings.

Izuku arrives home after around an hour, his parents in the living room watching the news. He greets them before going to his room to do more research on Doc Ock and his machines. What he found was very unpleasant. He had been charged for human experimentation, creation of symbiotes that take over the host, mind control, etc. The green machine was extra glad there were heroes to take care of these situations.

After a while, Izuku began to feel something crawling up his leg. It was the spider from Ock's arm. He scratched the area the spider was crawling, and it had gone away for a bit. It came back near his stomach and then his chest, until it finally settled on the back of his neck. Izuku was about to scratch the back of his neck. The spider noticed this and bit Izuku before being crushed.

After a few minutes, he felt tired and really wanted to sleep. He had gotten in bed and passed out in seconds. His mother checked in on him to see her son asleep. She smiled closing the door knowing he had one adventurous day.

Very awkward place to end this, don't get me wrong, but it felt rambly again.

Next chapter, I'll reveal some of Izuku's powers, and how he'll use them.

Sorry for this chapter taking so long for me to publish. High School is annoyingly hard to navigate sometimes. Either way, I hope you continue to enjoy this.

Plus Ultra!
