Location: Neo Domino City
Time: Early Evening.
Sitting on the ground of a park, Faye wondered:
'How did I get here again?'
One week had passed since Yusei and her had escaped from the Satellite, despite Ushio's desperate attempt at stopping them and the close call near the end, they both made it safe and sound to Neo Domino, but their moment of victory had been soured by the arrival of…
'Him…' Faye growled in her head.
Flashback (Oh great this again)
"Atlas!" Faye growled at the figure above them with as much venom as she could muster.
Which is a lot.
She took great pleasure in seeing the way her future victim squirmed under her glare.
Unfortunately he recovered and ruined the moment.
"So," the worm begins, "What brings you bottom dwellers to the big city?" He asks with a smirk.
Yusei was about to answer but was beaten to the punch.
"You're one to talk about bottom dwellers you son of a-!"
"Faye" Yusei warns with a side glance and Faye backs up.
"I see Ushio wasn't able to keep you two out of the city." Jack comments.
Yusei ignores him "I want my Stardust Dragon back Jack!" He demands.
"Oh?" Jack takes out a card "This old thing? I suppose that wouldn't be too bad, it served the king well for a while, but I don't need it anymore." And with that, Jack threw the card at Yusei who caught it and flipped it over, revealing a familiar and beautiful form.
Stardust Dragon.
His- Their hope, the card which gave everyone hope that they would one day escape the Satellite, and the man he once considered his best friend (his brother!) had not only taken it from them, but he had also placed one of his friends in danger to get it.
But now he was back, Stardust was returned and was back in his-
Yusei threw it back.
"What are you-?!" Faye exclaims in shock, even Jack is surprised by this.
"I won't just take it back, I am going to pay you back for all the pain you caused us by defeating you, and then I'll take Stardust back!" The other two people present stared at him for a few seconds.
Then Jack began laughing "Is that what you want? Very well! But when you inevitably fall to the King, don't look at me to blame for your idiocy, for it was you who failed his friends! Now, follow me!" With that he turned around and got on his D-Wheel, the Wheel of Fortune, and drove away.
"Yusei," Faye called out before he could start driving. "I hate to agree with the bastard, but if you lose, I'll never forgive you." She said with full seriousness.
Yusei looked back at her and they stared at each other's eyes for a few seconds with a serious expression.
Yusei then smiled softly and said "Then I simply have to win right?" He asks.
Faye's expression softens as she sighs "You're hopeless…"
Yusei allows himself a small grin at her murmur "But that's why I have you isn't it?"
A light pink dusts Faye's cheeks for a second before it quickly disappears without a trace and she smirks "Of course, after all," She placed her head closer to Yusei's and whispered into his ear "master's orders are absolute aren't they?"
Yusei groaned "This again?" He asks with annoyance, but a twitch of his lips sells out his amusement.
Faye smiles softly.
The ride to the arena is filled with comfortable silence, neither of them break it to mention the tension in Yusei's shoulders or the way his grip on the handlebars is tighter than before, neither do they break it to point out how Faye is holding on tighter and leaning in closer to him .
End flashback
And then the absolute idiot went and got caught and thrown into the Detention Center.
Faye took a bite out of the apple on her hand, she had managed to escape among the chaos of the duel and Yusei's arrest.
There was no reason for both of them to get caught, Yusei was probably worrying enough even though she wasn't caught, she can only imagine how he would be running around like a chicken if she had been taken as well.
She refused to acknowledge the way her grip on the apple tightened every time she thought of Yusei's state of being in the Detention Center.
'But still…' She thought as she finished the apple and then stabbed the core into the ground in front of her 'That dragon was…' The phenomenon that occurred during the duel was something she hadn't stopped thinking about for the entire week, how could she forget anyway? She was pretty sure the entire city had seen it.
Faye reached for the sack next to her for something else to eat but was stopped by a sudden thud coming from the same direction.
She turned to look and there was a small juggling knife embedded into the floor and passing through the sack, effectively shutting it close.
Faye's eyes furrowed as she stood up and looked around.
"Who's there?!" She called out.
'Why am I getting the strangest feeling of Deja Vu here?' She idly wondered.
"Hee hee hee," someone cackles with a slightly androgenous voice.
"Show yourself before I have to go look for you, trust me, you won't like how I drag you out." Faye warns, the threat is evident in her voice.
"My~ No need to get violent, Satellite." Someone mocks from the shadow of a nearby tree, the voice is slightly high-pitched and the mocking tone is impossible to miss.
The owner of the voice walked out from the shadow of the tree and is now fully visible, the figure is a short effeminate male with the appearance of a clown, he wears makeup consisting of red lipstick and two red lines running vertically over his eyes, his hair is a light purple with spikes and his clothing is made up of a red coat with a black collar and gold trim, underneath is a white shirt with a golden lining and gloves as well as black and gold boots.
"A clown?" Faye got out after a moment of shock. "You must have the wrong address, this is a park, circus is two blocks further down."
"How original~" The clown mocks.
"Well when you make it so easy…" Faye drawls in return.
"Hee hee hee," he snickers. "Then I believe I should introduce myself!" He declares as he jumps high into the air and lands behind Faye where the apple core she planted stood.
"I am the Head of special investigations and right hand man to the director of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau," he explains as he does a slight bow "My name is Jaeger."
'Security? Ah shit…' Faye cursed in her head.
"I see…" Is what she says out loud "So, how can I be of assistance to such a high standing officer?" She asks with as much fake politeness as she has the energy to give.
Which is not enough to convince anyone.
"Kuroiwa Faye," Jaeger begins while ignoring her previous comment, and Faye flinches.
'What a pain…'
"The director would like a word with you." He says.
"Well, please send Godwin my regards and apologies but I will have to pass." She comments offhandedly as she gets up to leave.
"You know," Jaeger interrupts. "There have been a few reports about a mysterious robber stealing food from some of the houses around the area, some of them have even reported that some of their cards have been stolen, you wouldn't happen to know anything about that? Would you? Kuroiwa-san~"
"Not at all, good day." Faye retorts easily.
Instead of saying anything, Jaeger just kicked the sack at his feet, the knife cut it open and all the contents spilled out, revealing multiple fruits and other random food items such as bagged chips, nuts, and even some candies such as chocolate.
"Breaking and entering is a serious offence, you know?" The clown asks idly "I can easily arrest you for this, no one would bat an eye for a sewer rat like you anyway~" He baits.
Faye doesn't fall for it "Hoh? I was under the impression that Godwin wanted to see me, now I am being arrested?"
"You would meet him there one way or another, he is currently having a… 'talk' with a prisoner, Fudo something I believe?" Now that gets a reaction out of her.
It is only a small twitch of her shoulders but it's exactly what Jaeger was looking for.
"Oh? Do you know him? I guess you bottom dwellers have to stick together…"
Faye growls and Jaeger flinches, even if he was in control of the situation, the girl is still terrifying.
"If you do something to him..." The threat was not hidden at all.
"Do you really believe we would do that? You wound me~"
"I'll show you what a wound really is if you don't shut up."
"N-no need to get violent." Jaeger says with a nervous chuckle before composing himself.
"Tell me what you want." Faye growls, Jaeger opens his mouth but is interrupted "Now!" She demands.
"Director Godwin has taken an… interest in a certain group of people, Fudo is one of them, and seeing as to how you have close ties to him, we have thought it prudent to keep you on a tight leash." Jaeger explains.
"Well… if it's for something like that then I should definitely comply shouldn't I?" Faye drawls sarcastically.
"I think you're not understanding something satellite~" The clown mocks before his tone turns much more serious "You don't have a choice."
"And I think you're not understanding me…" Faye whispers ominously as she bends her knees "There… is always a choice!" She yells as she charges at Jaeger who's eyes widen as he jumps away just a second before Faye can punch him.
He is about to say something, but is once again forced to jump due to Faye already being in front of him.
"Will you stop that?!" Jaeger yells.
"Stop running then!" Faye shoots back as Jaeger's back hits a tree.
His face shows absolute panic for a second before he ducks, not a moment too soon because his attacker's fist just barely missed his head and collided with the tree behind him, almost managing to split the trunk in half.
"W-wait!" Jaeger begs and Faye stops for a second "How about we solve this in a more… civilized manner?" He suggests as he takes out a deck.
"A duel huh?" Faye murmurs "Give me one reason why I shouldn't just bash your deformed skull in right now" Jaeger's smirk reappeared.
"Because you are completely unable to reject a challenge, aren't you?" He asks, though he already knows the answer.
Faye growled again before taking out her duel disk.
"I'll duel you Jester, just don't blame me when you end my Fortunato."
"My~" Jaeger hums as he stands up and walks a few feet away from Faye "How surprisingly educated for a Satellite~ And here I was thinking you were just a brainless brute."
"Watch it laughalot," Faye warns as she also moves to stand directly in front of her opponent "Now if you're ready…" Jaeger smirks.
"Duel!" They both declared.
Faye: 4000
Jaeger: 4000
"I will take the first turn…" Jaeger informs as he draws for turn. "I place three cards face down and with that I end my turn." Three horizontal cards appeared in front of him.
Faye narrows her eyes.
'What is he planning?' She wondered.
"My turn," is what she says out loud "Draw!" She looks at her hand before deciding on a move "I summon Superheavy Samurai Jisha-Q"
Superheavy Samurai Jisha-Q: Level 4, 900/1900, Machine, EARTH.
"And Jisha-Q's effect lets me summon another monster by changing it to defense position, so I summon the tuner monster: Superheavy Samurai Tsuzu-3."
Superheavy Samurai Tsuzu-3: Level 1, 300/300, Machine, EARTH.
The new monster had the appearance of a drum, with a glowing red ring surrounding both ends.
Jaeger took out a small metal rod from his pocket before a holographic screen expanded from it.
"Superheavy Samurai…" He began reading out loud "A deck centered around monsters attacking while in defense position, with the unfortunate drawback that most of them can't use their effects while spells or traps exist in your graveyard."
"Nifty little thing…" Faye murmurs.
"Hee hee, it is, isn't it?" Jaeger questions idly as he changes the screen "Your deck is also made up of various synchros correct? Are you going to be bringing one of them out now?"
"Why don't you put your toy away and watch?" Faye responds before continuing with her move "I activate the effect of Horaga-E, since there are no spells or traps in my graveyard, I can special summon it." She explains as she reveals the card in her hand.
Superheavy Samurai Horaga-E: Level 2, 300/600, EARTH, Machine.
"Now get ready." Faye warns him "My level 2 Horaga-E tunes my level 4 Jisha-Q." The small machine turns into two green rings which the magnets then flies into.
"The roar of the ancient, raging gods will become the dreaded howl which tears through the world! Synchro summon! Rage forward! Superheavy God Oni Shutendo-G!"
Superheavy God Oni Shutendo-G: Level 6, 500/2500, Machine, EARTH.
A pillar of light appeared and from it came a red figure holding a spiked club.
"Shutendo-G... " Jaeger mutters as he checks his screen again. "Destroying all my backrow cards huh? Well, I can't allow that to happen now can I?"
Faye narrows her eyes at the comment "Shutendo-G's effect!" She declares, pushing the doubt aside, "When it is summoned, I get to destroy every spell and trap you control." The red ogre grabs its club and swings at the floor creating a massive shockwave.
"Hee hee hee," Jaeger snickers. "Didn't I just say I wouldn't allow that? You must be quite the dullard~" He mocks "I activate the trap card: Posture at the Court." The trap revealed itself, the artwork shows Raging Demon marching stiffly in front of a king.
The shockwave disappeared before it could hit its target "Tch, explain jester." Faye demands.
"Pushy~" He mocks but ultimately relents after receiving a glare "Posture at the Court allows me to negate the effects of all monsters you control and change them to attack position, so long as I do not control any monsters myself, and if I ever control 2 or more, the card goes bye bye." He explains as Shutendo-G and Tsuzu-3 turn back into their original colors and set themselves straighter.
"Is that so…" Faye hums "You came here prepared to duel me didn't you?"
"Maybe, maybe not~ that doesn't really matter now does it?"
"I suppose not…" Is her answer "but if you think I'm done then think again, my level 1 Tsuzu-3 tunes my level 6 Shutendo-G." The drum turns into a single green ring which the mechanical ogre jumps into as Faye begins her chant which starts silent but gets progressively louder.
"Silent as the wind, the enemy falls before an eye can blink, a single, decisive strike will end the battle before it begins. Synchro Summon! One hundred silent strikes, Superheavy Ninja Shinobi-AC!"
Superheavy Ninja Shinobi-AC: Level 7, 1200/2800, Machine, EARTH.
"Posture at the Court's effect," Jaeger says immediately after the new monster appears "Shinobi-AC is changed to attack position and its effects are negated." Faye narrows her eyes as her monster stands up straight.
"Battle…" Faye murmurs "Shinobi-AC attacks the player directly, Silent Strike!" She declares and Shinobi-AC disappears in a whirlwind before reappearing behind Jaeger and swinging its weapon at him.
"Is that so? Well I apologize but I cannot allow you to harm me." Jaeger interrupts "I activate the trap card: Manners of the Court," Shinobi-AC's weapon halted a few centimeters away from Jaeger "When you declare an attack while I control no monsters, I can destroy all attack position monsters you control." Faye's monster struggled for a few seconds against an invisible force before being thrown back a few feet and exploding upon hitting the floor.
Faye tch'd before announcing "I end my turn."
"Hoh? Is that it? Very well…" Jaeger sighs giving the impression that he was genuinely disappointed. "I draw," he begins but is interrupted.
"Shinobi-AC's effect," Faye comments "if it was destroyed by a card effect, I can summon it back during the following turn." A blue portal opens on the ground and Shinobi-AC jumps out from it.
Superheavy Ninja Shinobi-AC: Level 7, 1200/2800, Machine, EARTH.
"Please don't get too far ahead of yourself," Jaeger calls out "I activate the trap card: Wicked Dealings of the Court!" Jaeger's last face down is revealed, the artwork shows Raging Demon with a face full of fear shaking the hand of the same king as before whose face is shadowed "When you summon a monster while I control no monsters, I can destroy it and then you take damage equal to that monster's level times 100." He explains as lightning strikes Shinobi-AC, destroying it.
Faye covered her eyes from the explosion and her life points went down.
Faye: 3300
Jaeger: 4000
"Hee hee hee, seems I got the first blood doesn't it?" Jaeger questions mockingly and Faye doesn't deign him with an answer "Nothing to say? Very well, then I will continue." He takes one of the cards in his hand and places it on the duel disk. "I summon Jester Lord."
Jester Lord: Level 1, 0/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
'No attack points?' Faye thought 'He went through a lot of trouble to make sure it was the only monster on the field, so it must have a way to damage me…' Her assumption was proven correct the seconds following it.
"Jester Lord's effect," a sphere of fire appeared on the monster's hand and he started juggling it "so long as no other monsters are present on the field, he gains 1000 ATK points for each spell or trap on our fields."
Faye's eyes narrowed.
What a potentially dangerous effect.
Jester Lord: Level 1, 1000/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"Then I will set two cards," Two more vertical facedowns appeared in front of Jaeger "And with that, Jester Lord's ATK points go up." An additional pair of fire spheres appeared on the monster's hand and he continued juggling all three.
Jester Lord: Level 1, 3000/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"And now let's battle! Jester Lord attacks Kuroiwa Faye directly!" Jester Lord began juggling the spheres faster as he approached Faye, once he was close enough, the spheres fused into one and he threw it at his target, the attack connected and an explosion covered Faye for a few seconds.
Faye: 300
Jaeger: 4000
Faye tch'd "Lucky shot, don't go thinking you already won."
Jaeger simply smirked before declaring that his turn was over.
She growled before drawing for turn.
'This is…' Faye thought as she looked at her newly drawn card 'Perfect' she nodded.
"During my standby phase, Shinobi-AC comes back since it was destroyed by a card effect."
Superheavy Ninja Shinobi-AC: Level 7, 1200/2800, Machine, EARTH.
"And since there is another monster on the field, Jester Lord loses all of his ATK points."
Jester Lord: Level 1. 0/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"No, no, no, that simply won't do," Jaeger interrupts with a mocking tone "as if such dimwitted strategies would work against me, I activate the Continuous Trap: Registers of the Court." A new trap card revealed itself "When a monster I control loses ATK, I can have it gain ATK equal to the amount lost until the end of the turn."
Jester Lord: Level 1, 3000/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"How annoying…" Faye muttered "I activate the effect of Superheavy Samurai Hikya-Q, since I have no spell or trap cards in my graveyard, I can summon Hikya-Q." A red and white machine appeared on the field before turning blue and kneeling.
Superheavy Samurai Hikya-Q: Level 5, 1200/1800, Machine, EARTH.
"Hikya-Q? Can't say I've heard of that one…" Jaeger mutters as he checks his holopad "Tribute itself to… what?!" He suddenly exclaims when he reads the effect and Faye smirks.
"I activate Hikya-Q's effect, by tributing itself, I can summon up to two Superheavy Samurai monsters to your side of the field in defense position, and then I can draw one card for each monster summoned this way," She takes one card from her hand and throws it at Jaeger who reluctantly catches it.
"Being forced to touch the card of an animal…"
"I tribute Hikya-Q to special summon Superheavy Samurai Glo-V to your field." Faye interrupts Jaeger and the red and white machine throws a sphere at the clown's field which transforms into a brown and red machine with hands that are bigger than its body.
Superheavy Samurai Glo-V: Level 3, 100/1000, Machine, EARTH.
"And then I draw one card," which she does "Now I activate Shinobi-AC's effect, by cutting its DEF in half, it can attack directly."
Superheavy Ninja Shinobi-AC: Level 7, 1200/1400, Machine, EARTH.
"Are all your strategies so…" Jaeger pauses, looking for the right word before settling with "brute headed?"
"No," is her answer. "Some of them are lazy."
She smirks.
"Battle! Shinobi-AC attacks Jaeger directly, Silent Strike!" The ninja-like machine jumps over Jester Lord and Glo-V before landing next to Jager and swinging its weapon but is once again stopped.
"I grow tired of repeating myself, haven't you understood yet that you will not harm me?" Jaeger's rhetorical question is followed by him sending the last card in his hand to the graveyard "I activate the effect of Jester Illusion in my hand!" An ethereal body with a white clown mask appeared in between Jaeger and Shinobi-AC, halting the latter's attack "By discarding Jester Illusion I can redirect an attack to a monster who's original ATK is exactly 0, like my Jester Lord, and then have it gain 1000 ATK points for every spell and trap card on the field." Jester Illusion began shining brightly, blinding Faye and forcing her to close her eyes, when she opened them again, Shinobi-AC was no longer near Jaeger but was instead about to attack Jester Lord who's ATK had gone up.
Jester Lord: Level 1, 5000/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"I know it's hard for your kind, but you should have been smarter about this, Satellite." Jaeger took a pause to do his signature laugh before continuing "Now you can pay for your mistake with your life points, because even if your monster is in defence position, you still take the damage since you declared the attack."
Shinobi-AC swung its weapon at Jester Lord who fused the five spheres he was juggling into one before launching it at the machine-type monster.
Faye's expression didn't change though, she still wore a small yet confident smirk "Is that so? Well for that to happen Shinobi-AC would need to have a lower DEF than your monster's ATK wouldn't it?"
"I was right about you being a dullard…" Jaeger sighs "even the concept of basic math eludes you, look closely, 5000 in comparison to 1400, I will clearly win this."
"The duel happens on more than just the field, it's about time you learned that," Faye grabbed a card from her hand and sent it to the graveyard. "I activate the effect of Superheavy Samurai Soulbuster Gauntlet, when a Superheavy monster I control battles, I can discard Gauntlet to make my monster's DEF equal to double its original DEF." She explains.
"So? Doubling your power won't save you here." Jaeger idly comments
"Clean your ears clown," Faye answers "I didn't say its power doubles, I said that its DEF becomes double its original." she finishes as Jaeger's eyes widen.
"The original? B-but that means-!" He was interrupted by the sound of Shinobi-AC's DEF going up.
Superheavy Ninja Shinobi-AC: Level 7, 1200/5600, Machine, EARTH.
Faye's monster won the battle and Jester Lord was destroyed.
"Eee!" Jaeger panicked as his life points went down.
Faye: 300
Jaeger: 3400
"To think I was harmed by a sewer rat," Jaeger spat "how unforgivable!"
"Is it?" Faye questioned, her face returning to her usual tired look.
"I don't know if you understand this satellite, but as the head of Special Investigations I am held to a higher standard, you are just some trash drifting on an island, receiving even the slightest bit of damage from you is disgraceful."
Jaeger's explanation was answered with an eyebrow raise "Neo Domino must be a sad place, in a duel the only things that matter are the duelist and their decks, I feel nothing but pity for a society that brings outside matters into it."
"Easy to say that when you're the inferior being." Jaeger shot back "Maybe I should let you go so you can experience life in the city, you'll understand where I'm coming from then." He jokes with a smirk.
"Don't fuck with me," Faye growls in a threatning tone "I never leave a duel unfinished, if you try to run away I'll hunt you down."
Her opponent only hums.
'Is that so?'
"I end my turn." Faye calls out, bringing him out of his thoughts "Your move, city clown."
Faye: 300
Jaeger: 3400
Said clown drew a card before declaring: "I activate the effect of Jester Illusion in my graveyard!" The same mask from before appeared but there was no body this time. "If I control a face-up continuous trap card, I can release one monster in both fields in order to special summon this card." Faye's eyes widened for a second as the mask attached itself to Glo-V and Shinobi-AC before they both disappeared and Jester Illusion fully manifests on Jaeger's field.
Jester Illusion: Level 1, 0/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"What a ridiculous effect…" Faye mutters "I activate Glo-V's effect, when it's sent to the graveyard I can look at the top 5 cards of my deck and put them back in any order." She does so and inwardly smiles at the cards she got.
"Yes very good, but that won't save you, I activate my continuous trap card: Summonings of the Court!" The last set card flipped face up and it showed a king handing a letter to a kneeling figure. "One time each turn I can release a monster with 0 ATK I control to summon a different one from my graveyard, so I release Jester Illusion to summon Jester Lord!" A portal opened on the floor which sucked the ethereal body in, then the juggling jester shot out from it before landing with a bow.
Jester Lord: Level 1, 0/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"And with two traps on the field Jester Lord gains 2000 ATK points."
Jester Lord: Level 1, 2000/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"This is the end, battle! Jester Lord attacks Kuroiwa Faye directly!" The clown-like monster began moving towards Faye who didn't look worried in the slightest.
"I activate the effect of Superheavy Samurai Glo-V in my graveyard, when you declare a direct attack I can remove it from play and draw a card, if the drawn card is a Superheavy Samurai monster I can reduce the ATK of Jester Lord to 0." There isn't any dramatic pause, both knew she would draw a monster which she does a second later and reveals it, the monster shown is a brown sphere with a pendulum hanging from it.
Jester Lord: Level 1, 0/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"Have you forgotten already? Registers of the Court allows me to recover Jester Lord's ATK."
Jester Lord: Level 1, 2000/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
"And now that the interruption is over, the attack connects." Jester Lord throws a fire sphere at Faye which explodes upon contact and Jaeger smiles "It is over."
"Is that so?" Faye's voice called out from the smoke, shocking Jaeger.
The smoke cleared and a new monster was on the field.
Superheavy Samurai Djinn-101: Level 3, 300/1800, Machine, EARTH.
It was the clown's turn to growl.
"Explain Satellite!" He barked.
He could see the amusement rolling of his opponent in waves, her sleepy expression not doing anything to hide it.
The insolence of her.
"When I would receive damage," she begins her explanation "I can special summon Superheavy Samurai Djinn-101 and negate that damage."
Jaeger gritted his teeth "I end my turn, Registers of the Court's effect ends and Jester Lord's ATK returns to normal."
Jester Lord: Level 1, 0/0, Spellcaster, DARK.
Faye: 300
Jaeger: 3400
'My next card is Big Ben-K,' Faye thought as she looked at her hand, 'and with Kagebo-C I can bring him out immediately.' She nodded to herself 'Let's end this.'
"My tu-" she begins outloud but is interrupted by a beeping from Jaeger's pocket, he reaches for it and takes out the holopad from before. "Oi," she calls out in annoyance "what do you think you're doing? We're in the middle of a duel."
Jaeger ignores her and answers the call.
"Jaeger speaking."
"..."
"Are you sure?"
"..."
"I was just finishing."
"..."
"Understood, I will see to it sir." And with that he ended the call.
"Can we continue now?" Faye asks not a second later, her tone daring him to say no.

"What was that?" She whispers.
"As you heard it, something more important than you came up so I am allowing you to leave while you still can."
Faye growls.
"Don't fuck with me…" Despite her menacing tone, Jaeger ignores her and prepares to take his duel disk off "You think I'll let you leave?!" Without more warning she jumps at him but this time he was expecting it, Jaeger jumps over Faye who turns around to see the clown was floating away via balloon.
There was no duel disk on his arm.
Faye: 300
Jaeger: 3400

"And about that other satellite," Jaeger calls out and Faye glares at him "hee hee hee, I may have lied about his release date, he has been free for two days now and he was last seen in the Tops." Faye's eyes widen at this piece of information, an object suddenly falls in front of her, she looks down to see a letter embedded to the ground "If you wish to finish our duel, participate in the tournament, I will consider facing you afterwards." And after that he was too far away to hear anything else he might say.

After he left, there was silence.
Faye stood there with her hair shadowing her eyes, after a minute she picked up the invitation and began walking with a threatening aura surrounding her.
'That bastard…' she thought 'how dare he leave a duel unfinished?!'
She looked at the invitation in her hand and sighed, knowing that there was no way her pride was letting this end just like that, she then turned in the direction of the Tops.
'Now to look for the other bastard in my life.' Despite her words, a small smile made its way onto her face.

Done! I really have to apologize about this one cause I've technically had it finished for a few days but I made a mistake in the duel and had to go back and fix it, and then it took me a while to think of a fun fact for this one because… nothing really interesting happened while working on this one, I'm just slow, but the chapter is here so all well ends well.
This is something that I should have clarified better and it's completely my fault, but Aki can't see duel spirits, the reason she could talk with Hama is because Bii can give his monsters a physical body which he does most of the time which is also the reason the Pin the Hit trio could come into contact with objects and people around them.

Fun fact: In my first vision for this story, Jaeger wasn't gonna duel here and his only duel would have been against Bii much later in the story, but now his role in the story is much bigger as he will be a recurring character with at least 3 more duels.
Question of the chapter: Jaeger still had one more card in his hand, Faye was about to summon Big Ben-K who has enough DEF to end Jaeger with one hit, who do you think would have won had the duel continued?
