Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of either Dragon Ball Z or Paw Patrol, only how the story goes. The characters of Dragon Ball Z belongs to Akira Toriyama and the characters of Paw Patrol belongs to Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I also do not own any of the Christmas music featured in the story. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.
A/N: Its kind of like the situation in Fusion Reborn. There's going to be a bit of a disaster that requires the aid of the Paw Patrol and Goku. Also, this chapter might not be too long.

Chapter Three: A Disaster In the North Pole
North Poleā¦
Meanwhile, far to the North, an Aurora Borealis came over a wintery village. But it was no ordinary village as those hustling and bustling weren't humans or Pups, but Elves. The short little men ran through the streets to get their Christmas duties completed. But those who were the busiest were working in the biggest building in town; Santa's Workshop.
Inside the building, a tall man wearing a red suit, red cap and black boots sat at a desk looking over a very long scroll in an office with a huge window. Santa Clause, deliverer of gifts to good boys and girls, nodded or shook his head as he went over the list, "Mm-hmm, mm-hmm." Then he said, "Oh, dear."
A knock came to the door and Santa didn't look up from his work when he said, "Come in."
The door opened and an elf with long dark hair and a small beard and mustache. The Elf gave an apologetic bow of his head and said in an English accent, "Apologies for disturbing you, sir."
"It's no trouble, Godwin. I'm just going over the list once more." Santa shook his head. Getting up from his desk he asked, "Anything to report?"
"All is going according to schedule, sir." Godwin said while looking over a clipboard, "Toy production is very close to being finished. The reindeer have all been checked and are all one hundred percent in physical condition. The sleigh has been checked for any mishaps that would impede your route delivery. And the Christmas Star seems to be at full power."
"Excellent." Santa nodded in delight. Looking to the Elf he said, "This Christmas is going to be a unique one."
"Indeed." Godwin nodded in agreement. Both Santa and Godwin the Elf left the office and walked through the halls of the workshop. They passed by a few other Elves as they walked before coming to a much larger room. The two walked up to a rail before looking down at the factory floor. Elves were working on different kinds of toys as they went down a conveyer belt. The conveyer belts all lead to an elevated platform where Santa's sleigh sat, waiting to take off to deliver the gifts. On the wall behind Santa's sleigh was a large double set of doors to allow for take-off.
Santa had a happy smile when he could see that his Elves were working hard to make so many children happy.
Down on the factory floor, one of the Elves was looking a little tired as he put together a wooden train. His supervisor noticed and said, "Hey, Joey, I know you're tired but we only have a few more of the toy trains to go."
"I know, I know." Joey said and rubbed his eyes. His supervisor patted Joey's back and said, "Look, I'll go and find someone to take over and give you a few minutes to rest."
"Thanks." Joey tiredly said as he continued working. But when his supervisor left, Joey looked about and saw that he was the only Elf at his section, he smirked and pulled out a set of headphones. Placing them on his head, Joey turned on a music player and turned up the volume really loud. If anyone else was in the area or nearby they would be hearing a rock and roll Christmas song playing loud.
But as he started dancing around, rocking out to the song, Joey accidentally nudged a lever and the conveyer belt started moving much faster. But Joey didn't seem to notice as he continued to dance to the song. Suddenly, as it flew down the line, a train part fell off of the belt and landed amongst some gears and it caused the line to suddenly stop before someone further down noticed. They ran to see what the problem was before the strain from the stuck gears caused the entire conveyer belt to burst apart. Pieces of the line flew every where and all the Elves ducked down as the pieces crashed into the other conveyer belts. Only when the ground shook did Joey, his supervisor, Santa and Godwin all look to see what was happening. Their eyes widened at the scene before them.
The toy shop was a complete wreck; toys were scattered everywhere, conveyer belts utterly destroyed, some of the Elves were shaken or hurt and even the sleigh was wrecked. Godwin had his hands to his head and shook his head as he shouted, "This is a complete disaster!"
Down on the floor, Joey held a fire extinguisher and had a worried look on his face when he said, "Aw, man! Santa's not gonna like this. I'll get fired or worse for sure."
"Who is responsible for this?!" An angry Santa did question. All the Elves down on the floor glanced back to Joey who could only give a nervous laugh when he looked to the supposed to be jolly man in the red suit. Pointing to Joey, Santa said, "We'll talk about this later. But for now, we need to assess the situation."
"Santa! Santa!" One of the Elves shouted and ran up the stairs. When he came before their leader and stopped, the Elf shook their head and said, "It's a complete disaster. All the toys in or not in the sleigh have been ruined. And worse of all, the Christmas Star is cracked!"
Both Santa and Godwin gasped at this news and followed the Elf down to the factory floor. They ran up to the sleigh and looked to where the star sat. The Christmas Star was indeed cracked as there was a fracture that ran from the left corner to the right bottom point. Godwin looked really worried and said, "This is really bad. Without the power of the Christmas Star, you won't be able to deliver the gifts."
"I can't deliver gifts if they've all been ruined." Santa pointed out and looked to the desolated factory floor. With a saddened sigh Santa said, "Christmas may be a little sadder this year."
"Surely there must be something that we can do, sir." Godwin said and frantically tried to think. An idea suddenly came to the jolly red man and he snapped his fingers, "I've got it!"
"What?" Most of the Elves asked in unison. Santa then said, "I know it'll be a little risky and we don't have a lot of time. But I'm going to ask for help from the one team that I know will be able to get us back on schedule."
"But Santa, you know that bringing non-Christmas personnel to the North Pole is a breach-" Godwin tried to warn. But Santa nodded, "Yes, yes. I know. A breach in protocol." He then pointed out, "But, need I remind you that bringing joy to the whole world is a much bigger responsibility. Plus, they did help me to save Christmas before."
"That's true." Godwin nodded in agreement. Santa turned back to the ruined sleigh and said, "Get me Prancer. He'll be able to get me to Adventure Bay the quickest."
"So you are?" Godwin asked, just to be clear. Santa gave a nod of approval and said, "Yes, Godwin. I'm going to ask the Paw Patrol to help me once again save Christmas."

Author's Note: Well, all that happened. I did say that this wouldn't be a very big chapter, but I it is like what happened in the Fusion Reborn movie. And don't worry about Joey. He'll get a stern talking too, but it won't be nothing serious. Next, we're going to going into the Christmas Talent Show. I may include a small before scene before the big night, but I do plan for it to be a pretty good chapter. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
