Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of either Dragon Ball Z or Paw Patrol, only how the story goes. The characters of Dragon Ball Z belongs to Akira Toriyama and the characters of Paw Patrol belongs to Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I also do not own any of the Christmas music featured in the story. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.

A/N: And now we have the fight. Let's see how the group's training has paid off.

Chapter Eight: The Fight Before Christmas

The group assumed their stances as they prepared themselves to face off against the living toys. Neither side moved but just continued to stare each other down.

(Cue Christmas/Sarajevo 12/24 (Instrumental) track)

From the sides, Ryder, Mayor Humdinger and his kittens, Santa, Godwin and a few of the Elves watched from a safe spot. One of the Elves suddenly sneezed and both sides of combatants charged for each other. Goku dodged an axe from one of the soldier toys before blocking a sword strike from another. Chase ran circles around a car before Rubble came in with his shoulder to knock it back. Marshall and Rocky confused the soldier with the gun by weaving back and forth to confuse it. When it couldn't get a lock on them, both Pups leapt forward before reaching out with a back paw and knocked the toy back with a kick. Zuma had hopped onto a skateboard to avoid a plane as it flew by. But it proved to be a mistake on the plane's part as Skye was able to leap onto it before trying to wrestle for control. Wild Cat ran to help Goku and leapt at one of the toy soldiers. He flexed his claws and small flames erupted as he struck the soldier with the sword.

Though the toys couldn't feel no pain, they still pressed on the attack as an act of anger. Everyone who was trying to save Christmas carefully moved to where they were heading for the large double doors. The toy soldier with the gun rapidly fired its weapon and all eight friends gasped before moving out of the way of the shots. The shots crashed into the floor, conveyer belts, walls and ceilings. The bystanders had to move out of the way when something would fall their way. The toy car veered back into the factory, causing Rubble to gasp, "No! Not that way!"

Chase was quick to act with using his speed to race with the car. Using his herding skills, he was able to get the car back towards the door. But it pulled a fast one on the German Shepherd by heading to a column and smashed against the side of it. The impact caused a large crack to shoot out on the ceiling and Chase called out, "Everyone, keep out of the way!."

Then he nudged the racing car back to the original course towards the door. Over at the doors, Rubble, Rocky and Zuma all strained to open the large doors. When they were opened a good deal, Goku disappeared right when one of the toy soldier's swung their weapons before reappearing behind all the attacking toys. Then thrusting his hands forward, Goku sent all the toys flying with a small wave of energy. The wooden statues flew through the air before tumbling in the snow. They came to a stop just a few yards away from the toy factory and Goku and his pupils ran out to continue the fight.

The living toys got back on their feet and charged towards the heroes. The soldier with the gun once again opened fire on the group and everyone, Saiyan, Pup and Cat, all jumped high over the shots as they crashed into the snow. When they came down, Rocky looked to Goku and asked, "Think it's a good time to test out the move I've been working on?"

"I think it should be fine." Goku agreed. Then he reminded, "Just be careful, okay."

"You've got it." Rocky barked before raising his paw. Turning his paw pads skyward, Rocky started focusing energy and it formed a sphere made of swirling green winds. Running on his three free legs, the Mixed-Breed got ready to throw it as he shouted, "Green Means Go!"

Throwing the green sphere forward, it flew right towards one of the toys before impacting against it. The swirling winds caused the living toy to spin through the air before crashing into the snow.

Chase thought that it was his turn to use his training to good use. Once again setting his sights on the car as it zoomed through the snow, the German Shepherd dashed forward before running in a circle around the car. Not only did it cause a flurry of snow to form around the car, Chase channeled his energy to allow electricity to shoot out and zap the car. A few burn spots appeared on the car and it crashed into a mound of snow.

Marshall and Wild Cat teamed up against the toy soldier with the sword. A red dome formed around Marshall while the flames reappeared on Wild Cat's claws. Wild Cat rushed forward while Marshall ran around the side. With a leap, Wild Cat gave the soldier a few scratches before leaping back. Marshall was running right for it when he accidentally tripped over his own paws and started tumbling head over paws. He ended up barreling into the toy soldier and it fell on its side with a large burn mark while losing some of the paint. The Dalmatian sat up and said with a grin, "I'm good."

"Well, we're not out of the woods yet." Wild Cat said as the toy soldier rose back onto its feet.

Rubble squared off with the toy soldier with the axe and howled as he charged forward. The toy soldier brought its weapon down and Rubble was able to create a dome of yellow energy around him. Not only did it protect the Bulldog, but it caused the axe to break as well. With a happy bark, Rubble lunged forward and knocked the toy back.

Zuma and Skye also were tag teaming against a few of the toys as Zuma used his powers to melt the snow and feed into a horizontal tornado formed by Skye's wind controlling abilities. Water balls were shot from the tornado and struck the toys.

But when the toys didn't seem to be stopping, everyone quickly regrouped around Goku. Shaking his head Chase said, "We aren't getting anywhere?"

"Well, how about we try an all-out attack." Goku suggested and looked to the group. Knowing what he had planned, all seven nodded, "On it."

All of them moved out and surrounded the toys. When they were in position, all eight friends gathered what energy they could spare before a sphere of energy formed in front of them. They all fired their attacks at the toys. The living toys didn't stand a chance as the spheres of energy slammed into them and created a large explosion. Goku, Wild Cat, Zuma, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Marshall and Skye all braced themselves from the high winds created from the explosion and looked when it died down. When they could see where the toys were, they saw that the living toys had been obliterated by the attacks.

"I'm glad that's over with." Rubble said and took a few deep breaths. Zuma added with a small grin, "At least we wewe able to keep the fighting undew contwol."

"That is a positive." Wild Cat agreed with a nod. Goku looked to them and said, "And you guys put your training to great use." Giving them a thumbs up he said, "I'm proud of you all."

"Thanks, Goku." All seven pupils said with wide grins and wagging tails. They suddenly heard Ryder call out, "Guys, come quick!"

All eight friends quickly dashed back to the toy factory and burst through the doors. Chase looked about and asked, "What's going on?"

"Santa's hurt!" Ryder and an Elf shouted at the same time. All eight gasped when they saw Santa leaning against a column and clutching his leg.

Author's Note: Oh, no! Santa was hurt during the fight. I'll explain in the next chapter. I know that the fight was a little shorter than I expected, but I do hope that you still enjoyed it. Plus, we did see Wild Cat and the Pups all using new abilities. And I'm going ahead to tell you that I plan to post the next few chapters next week. This way I can really focus on finishing the story. I look forward to reading your reviews.
