A/N: And we get to the part where Goku and the Paw Patrol really get involved with saving Christmas. And I think you all know what that means.

Chapter Nine: Goku and the Paw Patrol, Won't You Save Christmas?

All eight of the heroes walked up to Ryder and Godwin who stood before the hurt Santa. Rocky asked, "What happened to Santa, Ryder?"

"I think it was when that car hit the column." Ryder said as he tried to remember. Chase started to feel a little guilty and said, "Uh! I should have done something different with the car."

"It's not your fault, Chase." Santa said before wincing in pain. Godwin then said, "Easy there, Santa. Your leg is sprained."

"I can't just sit down, Godwin. Christmas Eve is tomorrow." Santa argued. Goku looked to Ryder and asked, "Could you call Dr. Turbot? See if any of the Healing Roots are ready?"

"Give me a minute." Ryder said before taking out his Pup Pad and walking away to make the call. Rubble then asked, "So what now?"

"Well, the Christmas Star isn't acting up anymore so I think that we can get it patched up." Godwin reported to the group. But then he said, "But if Santa's been injured, he'll need time to allow his leg to heal."

"I'll be fine, Godwin." Santa reassured. Marshall then walked up and said, "Hang on, Santa."

Placing his paw against Santa's leg, he felt the injury. His eyes widened with worry and he shook his head, "It's not a sprain, Santa. Your leg, though it's only a fracture, it's broken."

Everyone, especially the Elves, gasped in distress to this. Wild Cat tried to alleviate the situation by saying, "But hopefully, we'll all be good. If we can get Santa a Healing Root, then he should be good."

"I wouldn't be so sure." Ryder said when he walked back over. Putting his Pup Pad back he said, "I just spoke with Dr. Turbot and she says that the Healing Roots won't be fully ready until Christmas morning."

Another round of gasps went through the Elves and a couple of them fainted. One of the Elves said, "Well, put me on the Naughty List and give me a lump of coal." Raising his arms he exclaimed, "Christmas is ruined!"

"But there's gotta be something we can do." Ryder said, trying to bring hope back into the situation. Santa shook his head, "I highly doubt that we'll be able to pull this off, my friends. I'm terribly sorry."

And just when all hope seemed lost, the sun shone through a window and landed on Goku and the Paw Patrol. Santa took it as a sign and he shouted, "Wait a minute!"

"What?" Everyone asked in unison. Santa carefully rose against the pillar and pointed to Goku, the Pups and Wild Cat and said, "Maybe there is a way for Christmas for the kids to still be great."

"And that would be?" Zuma asked, feeling a little confused but hopeful. Santa gestured to all of them he said, "Perhaps you all could make my deliveries for Christmas."

"Uh, how would we do that?" Goku asked, feeling really confused. Santa then said, "If we can rig up a way to connect you all with the Christmas Star, then you'd be able to not only use Instant Transmission, but you'd be able to move fast enough to deliver the presents."

"But no one can do the job like you, Santa." Skye pointed out. The jolly plump man in the red suit nodded, "That is true. But we don't really have much of a choice."

"Well, what about the kids if they see us?" Rocky made a good point. Looking between him and his friends he said, "They may be a little put off without a man in a red suit."

"Leave that to us." Godwin said with a confident grin. Santa nodded at the thought and looked to the group and asked, "Paw Patrol, Son Goku, will you help us save Christmas?"

Ryder, Goku, Wild Cat, Marshall, Chase, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma and Skye all looked to each other before giving Santa and the Elves a nod. All the Elves started cheering as hope was brought back to the North Pole. Ryder looked back to the factory and saw that it was a little wrecked again. With a sigh he said, "We have a lot of work to do again."

"That won't be much of a problem." Godwin said when he remembered something. Santa asked his right-hand Elf, "You have an idea, Godwin?"

"Oh, I do, sir." Godwin nodded. Turning to his boss he asked, "Do you remember last year when we accidentally made an abundance of toys?"

"Oh, yes." Santa gave a good-natured laugh. With a nod he added, "We accidentally went into overtime before one of the weeks we were supposed to take off."

"And if I do a head count on that amount of toys and get the assembly back up, we should be able to have enough for all the kids on the Nice list." Godwin thought up. Most of the Elves thought that it was aa good idea as they murmured amongst themselves. Ryder looked to Santa and asked, "Think I can also help with designing outfits for them?"

"I don't see why not." Santa shook his head. Godwin clapped his hands together and said, "Alright, people! We only have until tomorrow night to get everything ready!"

"And we'll help too." Mayor Humdinger promised with each of his kittens meowing in agreement. The Elves, Mayor Humdinger and his kittens scurried about to get things done. Some ushered Goku, the Pups and Wild Cat in one direction while the others helped Santa or were getting back to work.

Author's Note: And this part is done. I plan on a few more chapters. In the next chapter, we get a bit of a montage with the Elves preparing Goku, Wild Cat and the Pups to be ready to help out with Christmas. And I chose a pretty awesome Christmas song in my book. I might say something about the group in the next chapter. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
