A/N: Happy Thanksgiving!
"Huh, umm who are you?"
"My name is Kikyo, do you not remember me?"
"No, I am sorry. I do not know you".
"I don't want to scare you, but I am a friend from a very long time ago, going back 560 years".
"What! Lady, have you lost your marbles? Looks can be very deceiving, you are beautiful but a mental case".
"Lady Rin, you must believe me. I know it sounds confusing but…". Kikyo puts her hand on top of Rin's shoulder. In a flash they were in a different place. It appeared to be a white room.
Rin looks around, "Where the hell am I?"
"Lady Rin, I want to help you. You are a lost soul. You are trying to get back to him, your soul is very restless".
"Oh my god would you please stop and leave me alone and take me back to where I once was".
"Since I am a spiritual being with spiritual powers, I can help your restless soul".
Rin holds her forehead with her hands and then rubs her temples. "What is it that you think I need to know so I can get back home?"
"The true soul of your body is trying to get to you, but you keep rejecting it, it seems as if you have been doing this every time you reincarnate".
"Reincarnate?"
"Yes, you have always come back as Rin, but something pulls or stops you from opening that part of your mind. Your name somewhat changes but it always has Rin as a nickname".
"I know there are demons and spiritual beings out there like yourself, but I just didn't think of me, an ordinary human, my soul wanting to come back just to be with someone? I thought I was just a plain ordinary woman".
Kikyo tilts her head to the side and smiles. I have missed you my dearest friend , she thinks.
"Do you mind if I pry into your mind to see what is blocking you from your past self?"
Rin was hesitant but she nodded. She closed her eyes and Kikyo took her hand and placed it on top of her head. They begin to glow and Kikyo's eyes squint and then tears start to fall down her eyes, she sees enough and lets go.
"Well? What did you see?"
