![]() Author has written 10 stories for Naruto. I've more or less abandoned writing due to a significant lack of skill with it. Life gets stressful too easily for me and I will always lose story files no matter where i save them or how obvious I make it to myself that they are saved there. My stories are all up for adoption, just hit me up if you wanna try writing something like them. I'm curious to see what people come up with. A Thousand Words/A Thousand Actions How loudly do words speak? Do they speak louder than a thousand stamping feet? Do they speak louder than a thousand bow strings being drawn? Do they speak louder than a thousand arrows in flight? Do they speak louder than a thousands lives being ended in a single instant? Do they speak louder than a thousand cars honking? Do they speak louder than a thousand planes crashing? Words are oft believed to merely be enough to convey something, but this is a foolish belief. Words are never enough, for while words can be used as weapons, they are subtle ones. Silent ones. A contradiction, but the truth nonetheless. So tell me, how loudly do words speak, when compared to the sounds the rest of the world makes? Are words louder than anything else? Or are they the most quiet in comparison? I am curious to know, will your words be enough to convey what you want? Or will your actions be the louder form of communication? The better form of communication? Actions speak louder than words not because they are louder in volume, though some are, but because they have a lasting effect on the minds of others. People remember actions well. While words are often remembered well, they are not remembered with nearly the same clarity as actions. On top of that, words will not naturally be remembered by humans for nearly as long as actions will. If you are old, then you no doubt have made several mistakes in your youth. How many of the friends that you had then remember those mistakes? How well do they remember them? You will find they remember them well. How well do they remember them in comparison to the words you had spoken to them though? Words do not make the world give you what you want. Words alone will never make your plans or dreams come true. Actions will. Through action alone, one can shape the world. There are those who have never spoken a word, but changed the world. Many of such people are unrecognized. A Thousand Words/ A Thousand Actions That came about because my girlfriend has decided to ignore me. I have been thinking about her behavior, both in the past and now, and this came about. Her words say one thing, but her actions oft speak another, unless she feels she is losing control of me. I have been looking for a way to show her that she needs to change, that the path she is walking down now will destroy her, but i am unsure how to do this without letting her walk down it, and ultimately end up with no life at all. I'm afraid, that the only ones who may know a solution do not even know of or acknowledge her plight. Also, everything relating to pretty much everything has slowed down drastically, but not in a way I can make updates. On January 4th, of the year 2016, I was in a car accident in the early morning. My car had been flipped, as a result of me losing control. I am distancing myself from the entire thing knowingly, habitually, to reduce whatever trauma comes from it. While I did not receive any physical injuries, I did receive a concussion and whiplash. But, like with everything else regarding me, these are not healing or behaving in the way they are supposed to. The effects of the concussion come and go, and I suspect they will be doing so for the next couple of weeks. However, during this time, I will be looking to begin a new story. A bloodline I can wield has given me a new idea, and I intend to explore it while using the action of doing so to better cope with everything that is going on. My life may be falling to ruin, but I can at least produce something good with it. If you cherish someone, don't just say it, prove it. Even small actions can be louder than a thousand, nay, a million, words! Updates to anything at all will be slow period. For now, consider me, myself, and I, as on Hiatus until further notice. Life's getting busy, and I'm finding things changing in a way that leaves me scrambling to figure out whether I should duck and run or stand and fight(for convenience's sake, I'm going with stand and fight, I'm already standing). I've also found a girl, but am confused as to how to deal with her(girls scare me in general, she outright terrifies me.). As it is, I have little time to toss aside for anything. Primarily, I use that time for sleeping, as I need sleep. What little of it I can get. 12/3/2015 As a side note, Merry Christmas to those of you who read this. As I'll be working through to holidays, I ask you to enjoy them for me! And remember, Santa is real. You just have to order your present online and wait a bit. The UPS man will deliver it for you. I'm a young male living in the middle of nowhere Washington. Unlike many others, i have little drive for romance or the likes of it, and as a result have little skill in writing it. Other than some form of MPD i am relatively sane, and channel what insanity remains into writing. My life holds no prospects, so i'm hoping to eventually turn writing into my life's blood. Not likely to work, but i'm not going to put it out of my mind on a whim. A challenge for the Harry Potter world, as I know I could never correctly or sufficiently write it. What if Harry Potter possessed an innate spell, something woven into the protection his mother left behind. A spell that could nullify all forms of energy? 1. The story can start in any year, and harry can go to any side. 2. Dumbledore cannot know of the power existing in the first place. 3. Voldemort must pass the ability off as something else, though the choice of what he passes it off as and the rationalization is entirely up to the writer. Essentially, he must underestimate the ability and it's dangers to others. 4. I must be informed that you are taking up the challenge, if only so I can read it! While I may not be able to write it myself, I do enjoy reading a good story. If you want, I'll even review! :D Aren't I nice? 6. OCs are allowed. After all, new people are always interesting. Until they're not, anyway. "Let me guess; you think saying sorry is enough to make all the problems you've caused someone to just up and vanish, right? Say, what color is the sky in your world? Personally, mine is indigo. I tried getting it to be blue, but seeing as I'm only renting it, I couldn't change it. A shame really, blue is so much better than indigo." "He's a powerhouse. An utterly insane, very much unpredictable, powerhouse. And of course, he has no idea about any of it!" "Evil may always find a way, but it can only truly ever succeed when good stands idle." - Random quote I had pass through my mind. I will find the person who originally said this someday.. |
