Watching a video of Dragon Man getting taken down in one shot, I watched as a male ghost spider in all black with a large white spider on their chest landed on it, with me pausing the video. "Venom." I said, knowing the symbiote anywhere.

"Achoo!"

Turning around, I saw Gwen walking into the meeting room while rubbing their nose. "Sorry, that was me, I think I'm fighting something." She said as she took her seat.

"Geez, you think?" White Tiger said sarcastically. "Just keep your distance." She said, backing up in her seat a bit.

"Right, what do we know on this?" I asked, looking at everyone to see if they could spot something that I couldn't. It was always nice to get their opinions on the matter.

"Let me guess, you want him on the team." Gwen said sarcastically, with me narrowing my eyes at her. "Come on, you guys' can't see it?" She asked, where I crossed my arms.

"See what, a guy version of you with a cooler costume than yours?" Nova said, with me rolling my eyes at his comment.

"Who is he under that suit? Where did he get it? Is he on our side, or is he hiding his true intentions? Where does he sleep? Where does he go? What does he do?" I asked, turning to face the TV screen. "What's his story?" I said, frowning at it.

"He was brought here from the cosmic reaches of the universe, with his faithful space blob doop." Gwen said, with me looking at her as she had her hands out. "He is a powerful force for good! He is dedicated to Truth, Justice and piece for all mankind!" She said, with Nova yawning at it. "Ok, he came from outer space! Sentient and Savage! This creature from another world has targeted our world, Earth, for its Destiny of Conquest!" She said, with me shrugging as it was kind of true. "From the darkest depths of Humanities fears, it comes! It lurks in the shadows, waiting to strike at its prey! And its Prey, is us. AAAAAHHHHHH!?" Gwen screamed, with me rolling my eyes at that, hiding my smirk while the others just stared at her with blank expressions, except Danny who had a look of shock on his. "Come on guys, we already know his story." She said, with me nodding.

"Yes, we do." I said, with them looking at me. "It's Venom, and its back. Tame, but back." I said, with Nova shaking his head.

"Venom, no way! That thing was huge, and this is just a guy in a suit." Nova said, with me popping him upside the helmet, spinning it around a bit.

"Venom is able to change shape and size. The wearer is under complete control and if they are mentally unstable, he can cause you to enter a hypnotic world, making you live the perfect world, see things that have been locked away and show you secrets of past hosts that not even they knew. A few moments aren't enough to trigger these effects, but enough to make you believe you are you." I said, with Nova lowering his head in defeat.

"Maybe you are seeing connections, where there are none." Iron Fist said, with me looking over at him as he spoke up.

"Come on Luke, you see it, right?" Gwen asked, with Luke shaking his head as he leaned back into his seat.

"Are you two sure this is Venom, because this guy is doing better than you!" Luke said while pointing at Gwen.

"He may be doing a better job than her now but give it time and he will turn." I said, with Gwen getting up and walking towards the door. "Where are you going, this meeting isn't over?" I asked as she reached the door, with her turning to face us.

"I'm going to get to the bottom of this. Venom or no Venom, there is only room for one spider in this-AAACCHHHOOOO!?" Gwen sneezed, with me crossing my arms as the other freaked out over it a bit as she left the room.

"She better not get me sick." White Tiger said as she looked at me, making me sigh in annoyance.

"This meeting is over; I'm putting her on the case." I said, walking out of the room.

"Her?" All of them asked as I left the room.

Later, Hell's Kitchen

Reaching the office, I reached up to knock on it. "It's unlocked." Mat said, with me walking in and seeing him at his desk while MJ was doing a bit of studying, learning brail so that she could help Mat out. "Dakota, I take it you have business with us?" He asked, with me shaking my head.

"Sorry, but not with you." I said, turning to face MJ. "MJ, I'm here on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D., we have a mission that we feel that only you can complete." I said, with her standing up and looking at me.

"Is it that Black Spider-Man?" She asked, with me nodding.

"Yes, I take it you know what he is?" I asked, with her nodding.

"I've seen it up close a few times, its Venom." She confirmed, with me nodding.

"Then here is your mission. Find him, learn who he is, his level of control, and if he is hostile in anyway, even the slightest, take him out with Sound." I said, with her nodding. "Your gear." I said, holding a case out to her, with her walking over to it and opening it, holding up a blonde wig.

Later

Hearing my phone go off, I picked it up and saw that it was MJ. "Report." I said, standing up and walking over to the window, watching the news through the reflection, seeing that the Black Spider had struck again, against another Dragon Man robot.

"I know everything about the Black Spider, including you." She informed, with me frowning at this. "It is Harry, he showed it to both Gwen and I in secret." She said, with me sighing at this bit of information. "Does Gwen know I'm gathering intel on him?" She asked, where I watched Gwen swing by, sneezing part ways while doing so.

"She is smart, but no. She is running her own investigation on the Black Spider, you are to keep an eye out on him, if he goes rogue, take it down." I said, hanging up. "She learned of the Black Spider and didn't report in, I'll wait until sundown." I said, placing my hands behind my back as I watched over the city.

Later that night

Pressing a button on my computer, a holographic image of Gwen popped up. "You are avoiding me!" I said as I crossed my arms.

"Not at all, just doing the Recon thing." She lied, with me rolling my eyes at her obvious lie.

"What do you know?" I asked, wanting intel from her.

"I don't know anything, I'm just a stupid girl who loves to get her hair and nails done!" She said, with me narrowing my eyes at this, while imagining her doing just that.

"If you are holding information on the Black Spider-"

"Hey, when I know, you'll know. Over and out!" Gwen said, hanging up on me.

Hearing a knock at my door, I watched as Colson stepped through. "Creed, another Dragon Man Robot appeared, its on its way to Ozcorp." He informed, with me nodding and grabbing my phone.

"Keep the others out of this, I'm calling in some help." I said, holding my phone to my face. "Black Canary, there is a Dragon Man Robot in on its way to Ozcorp, get there and observe the Black Spider. Step in if he becomes hostile." I said, hanging up, knowing she had this.

Later, Black Canary POV

Watching Gwen get tossed threw a window by Venom, I shook my head and used my grappling hook to swing over to said window. Landing in, I saw Venom on top of her, going to eat her head whole. "Venom, so nice to officially meet you." I said, gaining their attention, with me seeing him turning towards me. "I'm Black Canary, and this is my scream." I said, before letting out a supersonic scream at Venom, sending him back into the wall while Gwen jumped off the table and away from the sonic scream.

"Wow, MJ, is that you, and when did you go blonde?" Gwen asked as I stopped screaming and pulled out a pair of batons.

"Not now, focus!" I said, tossing a sonic bomb forward, with it rolling at his feet while Venom placed its self-back onto Harry without much trouble. The bomb went off, releasing a loud screech in a continuous fashion while Gwen and I ran forward.

Smacking it in the face, Harry's face showed for a second before it was covered once more, with me doing the same thing a few times before getting back handed away while it grabbed Gwen and tossed her out the window, with him taking off after her. Grabbing my grappling hook, I took off after them.

Seeing them land on a roof, I jumped down after them, with Venom smacking Gwen around with ease. Landing on the Billboard, I let out another scream, with Venom covering his ears. Gwen started punching him in the face, with me stopping my scream. "Why aren't you webbing him!?" I yelled in annoyance, seeing as it would be the perfect time to trap him.

"Funny story, I'm kind of out of web fluid!" She yelled back, making me groan at this bit of information.

"I thought your webs were natural!" I said, before letting out another scream as Venom started making a run for it.

"I need Fire, or Electricity!" Gwen said, where she then turned to the billboard. "I've got it!" She said, grabbing a hairspray sign and running at Venom, where she smacked him into the billboard, with a massive discharge of electricity happened, with the only sound being that of Venoms screams before everything went white.

Opening our eyes, we saw Harry was in place of Venom, with Gwen catching him before he hit the ground as he started falling forward. Walking over to them, Harry looked at us. "What... what happened?" He asked, rubbing his head slightly.

"You tell me!" Gwen asked as he stood up on his own.

"Oh no... I... I couldn't control it... I thought I could but... I almost lost myself, didn't I?" He asked, with me nodding as he nearly lost himself, and if things went differently, us as well.

"You were just sick is all, trust me, I know what it's like." Gwen said, with me knowing that she used to have the symbiote at one point in time before it attached itself to Dakota. I had never worn it and I didn't want to either, seemed like a hassle.

Seeing him take his watch off, he stomped on it as he tossed it down. "I guess I owe you two, big time. Thanks Ghost Spider." He said, looking at us and then holding his hand out to me. "I'm Harry, and you are?" He asked, with Gwen looking at me with a raised eyebrow as well.

"Black Canary." I introduced, shaking his hand with a small smile.

Later, Dakota POV

Flashing a light into Gwen's face, the room was completely black, except for the light. "Gwen Stacy, you are withholding information on the Black Spider." I said, walking around the table, hands behind my back.

"Information? I don't know what you are talking about!" She said, covering her eyes from the light.

"No?" I asked, tossing some photos on the table so that she could see them, showing Harry Ozborn crushing the watch with her and Black Canary. "I'm not stupid, I know who he is. Who do you think got Black Canary involved in the first place?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at her.

"Look, I can explain-"

"You don't need to explain, because I know that you withheld this information to protect him." I said, with her nodding her head. "Venom, we both know how dangerous he is. We wouldn't have sent a team to take it from him, because that would have caused trouble, I would have had you take care of it because you know how to combat it. I sent Black Canary in because she is his ultimate weakness, but after tonight it is clear that he is building a resistance to it, so good job on the electricity part." I said, with her nodding. "Until we have Venom in captivity, I'm creating a task force to deal with him. You, Black Canary and Inferno." I said, with her raising an eyebrow at this.

"Dante? I thought he was with his family?" She asked, with me nodding.

"He is, but if the time comes, he is willing to step in to help. He is still a hero after all." I informed, with her nodding her head. "He is able to control his flames and other flames as well. Black Canary can use her sonic scream to weaken him, you use your web to remove whoever is inside, and then Dante removes him completely." I said, with her nodding her head again.

"Easier said than done." She said, with me nodding as she was right. "Anyways, was that all?" She asked, with me nodding. "Then why the interrogation room?" She asked, moving the light out of her face, where I moved it back.

"To annoy you and give you an example of what will happen if you withhold information again." I said, with her nodding as I turned the light off, leaving her in the dark.
