"Wow, that smells great!" Everyone said as we watched Brock cook his stew.
Seeing Brock taste the food, he nodded. "Yep, it's ready! Let's eat guys!" He said, with us nodding.
"Let's go Torchic, lunch time!" May said as he tossed her Pokeball up.
"Forretress, come and get it!" Brock said as he tossed his pokeball out as well.
"Taillow, Treecko, it's finally time to eat!" Ash said, with me watching them appear, and then all of them looking over at Treecko, who was new to the group, with said pokemon looking back at them with a look of uneasiness.
"It looks like Treecko might be feeling a little weird around all of our Pokémon." May said as she placed her hands on her hips.
"It's because they are all staring!" Max said, with me nodding as that was part of the reason.
"Hey guys, there is no need to be suspicious, say hello to Treecko!" Ash said, with all of them getting closer to said pokemon.
'This is going to be a problem, seeing as Treecko's are known to be shy.' I thought as I crossed my arms and watched said pokemon jump into a tree to get away from the others.
"Treecko, come back, unless you want to miss lunch!" Ash called out, with me looking at him.
"Treecko is just shy, so he probably feels more comfortable up there." I informed, with Brock nodding.
"Treecko's are known for their shyness, as well as being tree dwellers." Brock informed, with the others nodding at that bit of information.
"Reminds me of Ralts!" Ash said, with me looking up at Ralts, who was on my head, and sunk into my hood to hide as she was mentioned.
"Yeah, I guess you are right." I said as I reached over my head and picked Ralts up, holding her in my arms as I rubbed her head. "Let's eat!" I said, with the others nodding as we turned around to do just that.
Few minutes later
'There he goes again.' I thought as we watched Torchic running around with food in its mouth and head. "I was never like that as a kid... at least I hope not." I said, with me thinking back to how I acted in the village. 'Nope, I know I didn't. Big Sis would have clobbered me if I did. She can be scary!' I thought with a shiver, with Ralts doing the same.
"You, ok?" May asked, with me nodding.
"Yep, just thinking about how scary my sister can be!" I said with a smile, with her nodding her head with a confused expression on her face. Seeing Ralts jump on my lap, I felt how warm she was, with me looking around and seeing that Torchic was missing. "May, where is Torchic?" I asked, with everyone looking around as well, not seeing the pokemon.
"He was just here a minute ago." May said as she stood up, followed by said pokemon screaming, with all of us getting up and running in the direction it came from. Reaching the scene, we saw a Seviper bouncing said pokemon on its tail while Treecko stood not far, looking ready for battle. "Cut that out!' May called out, with Seviper looking at her.
"What's that?" Max questioned as we stopped.
"Leave my Torchic alone, whatever you are!" May demanded, with me narrowing my eyes at the pokemon.
"Seviper, they share a generations-long feud with Zangoose. They attack using its sword-edged tail. Its swordlike tail serves two purposes, it slashes foes and douses them with secreted poison. It sharpens its swordlike tail on hard rocks, hides in tall grass and strikes unwary prey with venomous fangs. In battle, it uses it's bladed tail to counter." I informed, with them looking at me and then the Seviper.
"Torchic needs help!" Brock said, with me nodding as I looked down at my feet and saw Ralts.
"That's for sure, but that thing looks really strong!" Max said, with me looking back at the pokemon.
"Ralts, use confusion on Torchic!" I said, with everyone looking at me.
"Why are you attacking Torchic!?" They yelled, with said pokemon being tossed over to us.
Holding my hand out, I caught said pokemon by its head and used its momentum to spin myself around and slow it down as I wrapped my arms around it. "Here, he is free!" I said, with May nodding.
Just then we heard Treecko yell out in pain, with us looking at it and seeing it getting hit with a poison tail. "Taillow, use wing attack!" Ash called out, with said pokemon hitting Seviper in the face.
"Forretress, try to Immobilize Seviper with your spike attack!" Brock ordered, with said pokemon spinning around and shooting spikes at Seviper.
"Ok Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash said, with us watching said pokemon discharge some electricity, shocking Seviper to the point that it gave up and left.
"Well, I hope that is the last we have to see of that thing!" May said as I passed Torchic over to her, with me heading over to Treecko and checking up on it.
"A poison tail as well as the impact with the tree, it's best not to move!" I said, stopping Treecko from getting up and hurting it's self even more.
"I'm pretty sure that there is a pokemon center just up ahead!" Brock said, with Ash picking Treecko up.
"Don't you worry, we will have you there in no time!" Ash said, with us taking off towards the Pokémon center.
Later
"Your Treecko will be just fine, it needs to rest a bit more and then we can release it!" Nurse Joy informed, with me nodding as that was some good news.
"Thank you, Nurse Joy!" Ash said with a smile at the good news.
"Nurse Joy, I couldn't help but wonder if you are the younger sister of the Nurse Joy that we met back in-"
"May, don't get Brock started, he will confuse Max." I said, with her looking at me.
"Actually, she is the younger cousin of the sister-"
"Brock, don't!" I said, glaring at him as I didn't care about which Nurse Joy this was, just that she helped Treecko.
"Chansey!" We heard, with us looking at said pokemon running down the hall, with me getting a bad feeling. Seeing it stop next to Nurse Joy, it made its face look like Treecko the best it could.
"Are you saying that Treecko snuck out of its room?" Nurse Joy asked, with us rushing towards the room and seeing that it was empty.
Making our way outside, we started searching for it until I came upon its bandages. "Everyone, over here!" I called out, with them coming over to me and seeing the bandages.
"It looks like Treecko decided to run for the hills!" Brock said, with me crossing my arms as this was more than just running away.
"Why do you think he decided to run away?" May asked, with me looking at her.
"My guess, it wants to get stronger so that he can beat Seviper!" I said, where we started following Ash.
"I'm going to go find out!" Ash said with a determined expression on his face.
Later
"There he is!" I said, pointing at the top of the waterfall. We watched as Treecko spat out the stick from its mouth and jumped off, shocking us. Seeing him flip around, he smacked his tail against the rock at the bottom before hitting the water, doing no damage to the rock.
"What in the world is it doing?" May asked, with it being obvious.
"It looks like it's doing some kind of training!" Max informed, with me nodding.
"That's right." I said, rubbing his head.
"It's working out!" Brock said, with Ash looking at him.
"Working out?" He asked, a bit confused as he should be resting after the previous fight.
"Treecko is upset with itself on its lose against Seviper." I added, with Ash looking back at Treecko.
"So now it's pushing itself to train!" Ash said, with me nodding as that was right, but still he needed to rest.
"Guess your Treecko really doesn't like to lose, huh, Ash." Max said, with me crossing my arms.
'No one likes to lose.' I thought, remembering all the times I had helped my sister practice to become Champion.
"I think that's really cool!" May said with a smile, gushing over the Pokémon's hard work.
We watched as Treecko gave it one more shot, looking beat up after so many attempts at trying to break the rock. Just like all the others, he dived in headfirst, but unlike the other times, he spun around, with me knowing that it was building up power with each twist. Watching as he broke the rock, everyone was amazed at the display.
As everyone celebrated, Ralts warmed up. "We have company!" I said, where a hand reached out and grabbed Pikachu, showing that it was Team Rocket.
"Prepare for trouble, with Pikachu!" Jessie said as she Stood to the left of Meowth, who had Pikachu in a robotic hand.
"And make it double, times two!" James said as stood to the right of Meowth.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To pronounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"We blast off so beautifully at the speed of light!"
"So, love us and Surrender or prepare fight!"
"Meowth, That's right!"
"Team Rocket!" Ash said as we walked out of the bush and looked at them.
"Not you again!" Brock said as he made a fist, with Pikachu now in a container. Seeing said pokemon try to bust out with an electric attack, it proved to be useless.
"Yep, and again we sucked out all of Pikachu's electricity!" Meowth said, with me rolling my eyes at this.
"And once again, Pikachu belongs to us, so get used to it!" Jessie said, a grin on her face.
"Oh, no you don't, go Taillow!" Ash said as he tossed out a pokeball, with said pokemon coming out.
"Go, Cacnea!" James said, with said pokemon coming out and giving him a hug, with me flinching as that had to hurt. "Cacnea, pine missile attack!" James ordered, with said pokemon jumping off and attacking Taillow.
"Taillow, dodge it!" Ash said, with said pokemon flying out of the way.
"And now we would like to introduce the newest member of team rocket!" Jessie said with a smile.
"So, after much anticipation-"
"-get ready for the rookie of the year!" Meowth interrupted James, who was giving a thumbs up to us.
"What are they jabbering about?" Max asked, with me shrugging as I didn't know but knew that they were bad. It was kind of the same thing over and over with these guys.
"A baseball game?" May asked, not really getting it either.
"It's time Seviper!" Jessie said as she threw out a pokeball, with me catching the name right away.
'Don't tell me it's the same one!' I thought with wide eyes, where said pokemon appeared and hissed at us.
"No way!" Ash said with wide eyes at seeing the pokemon.
"It's the same Seviper!" Brock said as I grabbed Ralts off my head and placed her down on the ground, just in case I needed to step in. Seviper was a poison type, which is weak to Psychic types, so I had the advantage here.
"Now, crush them Seviper and there will be more in it than rice balls!" Jessie said, with me narrowing my eyes, then seeing Treecko stepping forward.
"Guess I don't need to step in after all." I said, with everyone looking at me and then where I was looking, seeing said pokemon stepping up.
"Treecko, hold up!" Ash said, with said pokemon looking at him. "Before you start battling you should know that you are not alone! We're your friend, ok? We will battle with you!" Ash said, with said pokemon giving him a smirk before looking back at his opponent.
"Seviper, poison tail!" Jessie ordered, with said pokemon going for its attack.
"Treecko, use quick attack!" Ash said, with Treecko using quick attack to dodge all of the attacks from Seviper with ease.
"Hold still you little pipsqueak and let Seviper thrash you!" Jessie said as she made a fist, glaring daggers at the pokemon as it jumped around.
"Treecko, pound attack, now!" Ash said, with Treecko jumping up and smacking Seviper in the face, pushing it back just a bit.
"Finish this before it can attack again! Send that little green pest in the air with the power of your poison tail!" Jessie ordered, with said pokemon going on the attack once more.
"Watch out Treecko, show them the move you worked so hard on!" Ash said, with us watching Treecko jump high into the air and start spinning before smacking its tail into Seviper's head, sending it flying over to Team Rocket and freeing Pikachu from its captives.
"Don't look now, but Pikachu just hatched!" Meowth screamed, shocking the others as Ash walked over to said pokemon.
"Pikachu!" Ash said, with said pokemon jumping into his arms and hugging him. We watched Treecko walk away, gaining their attention as it picked up the same stick it had in its mouth earlier and putting it in its mouth, not before saying a few words to them.
"It's saying that now it's got it's revenge, that Pikachu can do the rest! What are we, chopped liver?" Meowth translated, with me shaking my head as this was over once more.
"That's right, that's insulting!" James yelled at us.
"Where's that big bad Seviper attitude that you had before!?" Jessie yelled at her pokemon, with Ash stepping up.
"Maybe this will help you look for it! Pikachu, Thunder!" Ash ordered, with said pokemon jumping up and sending thunder from the heavens down onto them, sending them flying into the sky once more.
"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!?" They yelled, with me picking Ralts up and placing her on my head.
'I wonder how they survive the falls?' I thought as we walked over to Ash. "We should get back so that we can heal Treecko up." I said, with them looking at me with blank expressions. "You did forget that we came out here to retrieve Treecko, right?" I asked, with them getting sheepish looks on their faces, making me sigh. "Come on, let's get back!" I said, ushering them along before something bad could happen.
