Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Elizabeth, and I am the mother of three children. Recently, a franchise called "Pokemon" became popular at their school again, but I forbade them to become involved with it, as it is associated with daemons and the occult. My children were upset because everyone else was into this "Pokemon" franchise, and my youngest son got picked on because of my decision as a mother. I thought of the perfect solution. I will make a clean, family-friendly version of "Pokemon" so that other Christian mothers can let their children read this instead of the daemonic video games and cards.
Cheers!
-Sarah Elizabeth
Ash Ketchum walked downstairs excitedly. Today was the day he could get his first angel from Reverend Oak. He was dressed nicely for the occasion. He wore a nice tuxedo with a yellow tie and shiny black shoes, the perfect church outfit. He saw his mother making breakfast, and so he sat down to join her. His mother, Delia, was the ideal housewife.
"Are you ready to get your first angel? Reverend Oak told me that he prayed for four of them, and they just arrived," said Delia, smiling.
"I've always wanted my own angel so I can pray against demons. I can't believe I'm finally old enough to do that," Ash said.
After finishing his breakfast, Ash grabbed his bag and left to go meet Reverend Oak at the church. His bag consisted of a Bible, a daily devotional, and some healthy snacks. He was prepared for the challenges to come.
Ash entered the church and felt a sense of awe. It was as if God Himself was pleased with Ash Ketchum for going on this journey. Ash made his way to the front of the church and saw Reverend Oak and his wife, Mrs. Aurea Juniper Oak. They were smiling at him warmly.
"Welcome, Ash. I have four angels here that you can choose from. Pick whichever one you feel like the Lord is calling you to," Reverend Oak explained.
Ash looked at the angels in front of him. They looked like an orange salamander, a blue turtle, a green toad, and a yellow mouse. Except what set these creatures apart from those earthly animals was the fact that they all had large angel wings. His heart felt called to the one on the far left. It was like a little electric mouse with a spiky tail and large angel wings. Ash got down on his knees and began to pray.
"Dear Lord, is this the angel I should pick?" he asked God eagerly.
Suddenly, a white dove appeared before him and then vanished. This must be the sign that Ash should pick the mouse angel!
"I'll take this one please, Reverend Oak," admitted Ash.
"I saw you praying so innocently, and I just know that if God told you to choose this one, then it is the right choice. This angel is called Pikachu. I hope you take good care of him," Reverend Oak said peacefully.
Ash took a ball out of his pocket and opened it. Inside was a piece of paper with a Bible verse on it. In order to make the angel his partner, Ash needed to prove himself. On the piece of paper was John 1:1, and he recited it to Pikachu. Pikachu glowed blue for an instant and then stopped. Ash had tamed Pikachu.
Mrs. Aurea Juniper Oak smiled at Ash warmly. She picked up Pikachu and handed him to Ash. Suddenly, a young girl came into the room. She had nicely combed short red hair, and she was wearing a nice, modest, blue church dress. She was the ideal Christian girl. She looked at Ash and smiled innocently.
"This is our daughter, Misty. She is starting her journey today with her Psyduck. I want her to go with you, because women are not meant to be alone. Will you take care of her?" requested Reverend Oak.
Ash looked at the beautiful young girl. She was so kind and followed the Words of the Lord. Of course Ash would take care of her.
"I will take care of her. After all, Genesis 2:18 says, 'It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him,'" replied Ash.
Reverend Oak and Mrs. Oak said goodbye to Ash and Misty, and the two children left to go on their journey. Their goal was to convert as many people as possible by battling their enemies' daemons with the angels from Reverend Oak.
Ash and Misty lived in the quiet Unovan town of Numeva, so they would have to go to Accumula Town in order to save more souls. But little did the children know that lurking in the shadows of route one were two people who wanted to lead them astray. As Ash and Misty walked along route one, two people and a daemon hopped out. The girl was inappropriately dressed, wearing a crop-top with a very short skirt. The boy was wearing a crop-top with long pants. They were NOT dressing as the Bible commands. The daemon that was with them resembled a cat, but it walked upon two legs.
"Hey kids, are you bored? We have something nice for you to read," said the boy, pulling a book from his pocket and handing it to Misty.
Misty looked at the book. It was titled On the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin. She began flipping through the pages, but Ash grabbed the book and threw it onto the ground.
"This book is meant to lead us astray! Charles Darwin claims that humans came from monkeys, and he wants us to believe that God is not real. But he is a liar! The real Truth is that God created the heavens and the earth!" exclaimed Ash.
"Let's have a prayer battle, then. We'll see who has the real truth!" said the immodestly dressed girl.
The boy and girl began reciting Satanic passages, which commanded their daemon to attack. Ash knew what he had to do. He needed to recite the Bible so that Pikachu could fight back.
"Colossians 1:13-14 says, 'For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins!'" yelled Ash.
With those powerful words, Pikachu leapt onto the cat daemon and bit it, draining the daemon's power. Ash had won through faith and prayer!
"Thank you for saving me from that unholy book. I was almost led astray by those atheists," confessed Misty.
"It's okay, Misty. Anyone can be led astray, but we must stay strong and resist temptation," Ash said knowingly.
"I think we should head back to Numeva Town. I want to ask my parents who those people were so that we might avoid them in the future," responded Misty.
Back at the church, Reverend Oak looked worried after hearing the terrible story from the children. He felt like it was time to tell them something.
"Those two people were Jessie and James, and their daemon was called Meowth. They hate Christians, and they work for a group called Team Plasma," said Reverend Oak sadly.
"How could anyone hate Christians? They are the light of the world, and they are trying to help people accept Jesus!" Ash exclaimed.
"Well, Team Plasma is led by a so-called 'doctor' named Colress. He believes that there is no God, and he is trying to become elected champion of Unova. He is going to use that power to ban us from practicing our religion. He is being helped by Ghetsis, a communist dictator, and N, a socialist liberal. Colress believes that because he is a doctor with many PhD's, he can prove that God is not real. But we know the Truth, and we will fight to defend it," said Reverend Oak gravely.
