Hello, children of Jesus! My story has several hundred views at this point in time, and I would like to thank you for the support. I recently read a review from a user called suzukeii, and they said that they read it to their eight children, which greatly pleases me. They also asked if they could print out my story for their weekly ladies' meeting, to which I give my full permission! Unfortunately, there are a few trolls who claim that "Pokemon" is not demonic. However, I disagree. "Pokemon" use their powers to defeat other "Pokemon," and there is no indication that these powers come from God. As Jesus does not support violence, these powers must come from Satan! I also had a few reviews tell me that a series called "Persona" is far worse than "Pokemon," and that "Pokemon" is far less demonic. Well, simply because there is worse out there does not mean that I cannot make "Pokemon" child-friendly. But if the "Persona" franchise bothers you so much, I may rewrite it as well after I finish "Pokemon: Gospel Version."
Ash and Misty had gained much popularity in Accumula Town after defeating Ghetsis using God's scripture. But as the Bible commands that Christians be humble, the two Christian children had to flee their popularity and go to Striaton City.
"We wanted to show the people of Accumula Town that they should walk in the ways of the Lord, but they treated us like celebrities! They should have known that God is the one in control, not us!" exclaimed Misty, clearly upset.
"We must forgive them, as many of them have never heard of Matthew 23:12, which states, 'Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted,'" replied Ash sadly.
"Did you know that the gym in Striaton City has three gym leaders? They are brothers, and they all take turns trying to lead Christians astray. When a Christian comes into town, they decide who has an advantage over the Christian, and that brother goes to battle them. We need to keep our guard up," Misty explained.
"I have the power of God on my side, and if I call upon His name, I am sure to win. Other Christians may have lost to the brothers due to lack of faith, but I will stay strong in the Lord," Ash responded.
Ash and Misty made their way to the gym, which had a pleasant aroma. As they walked inside, they saw that the workers of the gym were cooking various delicacies. Perhaps this gym was not as bad as it seemed. A worker approached Ash and Misty, handing them a menu.
"Welcome, children. Would you like something to eat? We have a few tables available," said the worker.
"I sure am hungry. I would love to eat something at your restaurant, if it isn't too much trouble," Ash requested.
The worker walked with Ash and Misty to the other side of the restaurant, and they passed the kitchen, where they got a glimpse of the cooks. Ash noticed that only men were cooking the food, which made him slightly uncomfortable. He sat down with Misty at a table, and they looked at the menu.
"Isn't it a bit strange that men are cooking the food? That is supposed to be a woman's job, as women were created to cook, clean, and serve their husbands," observed Misty.
"I did find it a bit strange. Something is very off about this place, but I do not want to offend our host," Ash replied.
After placing their orders, the worker returned with food for the two children. Ash had ordered a nice, healthy soup, while Misty had ordered an organic salad. They said a prayer to the Lord and blessed the food, and then they got up to wash their hands. Ash made his way to the men's room, but on his way there, he saw something abhorrent. One of the cooks was giving his food as an offering to a false idol! Ash ran over and smashed the statue of the false "god." He then saw Misty going back to their table, and she almost took a bite of her salad. Luckily, Ash managed to smash the salad and soup onto the ground, as it was disgusting to the Lord. The good Christian boy ran to the front of the restaurant and began telling the people the Truth.
"God says in the very first and second commandments that, 'You shall have no other gods before Me, and you shall not make idols!'" Ash screamed earnestly.
The restaurant workers tried to drag Ash away, as he had called them out for sinning, but the people eating at the restaurant seemed intrigued. Many people began yelling and cheering for the young boy's great deed.
"The Lord is the true God! We must stop worshipping idols! We must stop offering food to them! We must turn from our wicked ways!" the crowd yelled.
Suddenly, the door was pushed open, and three boys entered the restaurant. They were the three gym leaders, and they ran the restaurant. Ash was not afraid of them, as God was more powerful than Satan.
"You claim that we are wrong for offering our food to idols, but our idols give us strength!" said the red-haired brother.
"My name is Cilan, and since I have a grass daemon, it will resist your electric angel's power! Come battle me, and we'll see if this God of yours can defeat me!" challenged the green-haired brother.
Ash sent out his Pikachu angel, and Cilan sent out Pansage, a monkey daemon. Cilan was shaking with fear, because deep down, he knew he was a sinner. But Ash stayed strong and knew that the Lord would protect him. Cilan grabbed an idol from out of his pocket and began praying to it. He uttered some daemonic chants, hoping to call upon his idol's "power." Pansage's eyes began to glow red, and the power of Satan allowed it to scrape Pikachu across the face. Ash knew that the people in the restaurant were watching him, and if Ash won, they would convert to Christianity.
"Isaiah 45:20 says, "Gather together and come; assemble, you fugitives from the nations. Ignorant are those who carry about idols of wood, who pray to gods that cannot save.'" quoted Ash, trusting the Lord.
Ash's Pikachu heard these holy words, and he created electricity from his tail, which burned up Pansage. Ash had overcome Cilan's idolatry. The crowd began to clap, and they approached Ash, asking about salvation. Ash gave them copies of the Bible and of Jesus Calling, which they had been given by Nurse Joy. The people rejoiced at this new gift, and they began praying instantly.
