Welcome back, believers in Christ! I would like to thank you for nearly 1,000 reads! That is a lot of people, and it makes me so happy that so many of you want to hear the Words of the Lord. But unfortunately, there has been a lot of hate directed toward my story lately. Satan works in many ways, and I am going to resist his temptations by continuing to write my story. But on a lighter note, my youngest son has finally been able to talk with his friends about "Pokemon," as he now has a family-friendly version to read. I am hoping that he will show them my story, so that his friends will be able to enjoy my Christian alternative to the franchise.

Now that they had converted the Striaton brothers and Lenora to Christianity, Ash and Misty were on their way to Castelia City, the capital of Unova. It was a very large city, which meant that it would be very dangerous. But Ash knew in his heart that God could help him defeat all obstacles. They entered the city, and they saw people walking everywhere with signs. The signs all talked about how people need to believe in science, and not in God! Ash felt sick at the sight of such horrible things! But he knew that he needed to stay strong, because if he converted Castelia's gym leader, then the gym leader could convince the citizens to come to Christ.

Ash decided to go to the local church and pray for a bit, as it would be difficult to convert the leader of such a large city. He and Misty looked around the city, and they soon came across the church. It stood out amongst all of the unholy city buildings surrounding it. They entered the church and felt a sense of awe. This church was much larger than Reverend Oak's church, or any other church the children had seen. They looked around for a church member who could help them. They saw a man preparing a sermon in the back of the building, and so Ash and Misty approached him. The man turned around and smiled warmly at them, as a member of the church should. The man was tall and skinny, and had flowing dark hair. He was certainly an attractive man, and his indigo shirt was unbuttoned just enough to see his masculine chest hair. He was the ideal Christian husband.

"Greetings, children! How can I help you? I haven't seen you around Castelia, so you must have traveled a great distance," said the man.

"My name is Ash, and this good Christian girl is my friend, Misty. We want to convert the gym leader to Christianity, but we wanted to come here and pray first," Ash explained.

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Reverend Sycamore. I've been trying to convert the gym leader, Burgh, for years. But unfortunately, he continues to worship idols," the man replied sadly.

"What kind of idols? Back in Striaton City, the people were worshipping so-called 'gods' that were just statues," Ash questioned.

"The idol Burgh worships is not necessarily a 'god.' His idol is his work, and he spends more time making art than learning about the Lord. He claims he does not have time to join Christianity," explained Reverend Sycamore.

"That's terrible! He needs to break away from his idol! We need to help him!" Ash exclaimed.

"We should pray together, and after that, I'll come with you to help convert Burgh," suggested Reverend Sycamore.

The reverend took the two children into his office, shut the door, and turned out the lights. He grabbed each child's hand and began to pray with them.

"Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory," chanted the three Christians, reciting 1 Peter 1:8.

After their delightful prayer, they set off to the Castelia gym. On their way there, they stopped by the local Healing Center. If they were going to convert the citizens of Castelia, then they needed a lot of Bibles. Nurse Joy delightfully gave them many copies of the Bible and Jesus Calling, and they departed to their destination. As they entered the gym, they couldn't help but notice all the artwork scattered around. The gym was filled with white paper mache cocoons, but when they got to Burgh's office, they saw that paint was splattered everywhere. Burgh was huddled in a corner drawing over and over again.

"Burgh! You need to put your work aside and come to Christ!" Ash yelled at the top of his lungs.

"Why? My artwork is far more important than studying the Bible!" responded Burgh angrily.

"Your work has become a false idol! You must repent and go to church!" demanded Reverend Sycamore.

Ash knew that he would need to fight if he wanted to convert Burgh. He sent out his Pikachu angel, and Misty sent out her Psyduck angel. This would be a double battle. Burgh realized that the children were challenging him, and so he sent out his daemons: Leavanny and Crustle. Burgh began summoning the powers of Satan by chanting daemonically, which gave Leavanny and Crustle more energy. Misty was terrified, as she was a dainty Christian girl, but Ash had courage.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight," chanted Ash, quoting Proverbs 3:5-6.

With these words, Misty gained her confidence. She knew Ash would protect her, no matter what. Pikachu heard these words too, and he used his strength to hit Crustle with his tail, smashing the daemon into pieces. Now it was Misty's turn to fight, and she chose the perfect prayer for a Christian girl.

"Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered," chanted Misty tenderly, quoting 1 Peter 3:7.

Misty's soft, feminine prayer allowed Psyduck to do a great miracle. Psyduck summoned water onto the battlefield, which turned into a whirlpool. Leavanny was sucked into it, which drowned the daemon. Thanks to the prayers of the children, Burgh's idolatry had been vanquished.

"Thank you for showing me my error. I will quit obsessing over work, and I will go to Reverend Sycamore's church instantly," promised Burgh.
