Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto; it is owned by Masashi Kishimoto. Supergirl and all DC Properties are owned by Warner Bros, CW, DC COMICS, and the CBS respectively. I am just a humble fan.
Author's Note: Well everyone, here we are with my last Naruto/Supergirl idea. This one will be much different than anything I have written before. I have to thank Time Paradox otherwise known as Lex on discord for his help in crafting the ideas for this story; I am very grateful for his help. This is a multi-part story; probably four parts at the maximum with powerful final villains like Zod and Darkseid. I will not update as often due to job constraints and life, but I will do my best to craft a decent story unlike my first Supergirl story.
I honestly thought the Supergirl show would last ten seasons like Smallville. Alas, it could have been a spectacular show; season five was a colossal train wreck. How much the COVID-19 Pandemic played a part in the writing, we will never know. This story is my way of a tribute. Honestly my first Supergirl story sucked, so I am hoping this one is much better than the last. I hope you all will give it a chance. Without further ado, let us begin.
Prologue- Change is Inevitable
It was bright and sunny in National City. The birds were chirping, and the people were frolicking outside, enjoying the warm weather and enjoying the company of family and friends. On one hand, people were enjoying themselves in the park, while on the other hand there was the busy hustle of people getting on with their day, going to work, making money to feed their families.
In a coffee shop known as Noonan's, a woman was waiting patiently in line waiting to get a cup of coffee and sticky buns, with a very cheerful attitude on her face, listening to old songs of The Backstreet Boys while she was quietly singing along with them.
As soon as she got to the counter, she placed her order, while she was looking at the news. Her mood went from cheerful to sour, as she saw a metahuman committing a bank robbery, and being apprehended by the DEO, an organization designed to apprehend and capture criminals with extraordinary gifts and abilities.
As she got her order, she sat down on the table and was busy eating her sticky bun, when she could not help but overhear a familiar conversation; which did nothing but sour her mood further.
"Look, another one has been captured. Good for the DEO."
"Hmph, all they do is commit crimes, and choose to do nothing else. This is nothing. Did you hear the case about how a family was burned alive by these metahumans?"
"Then it is a good thing we have the DEO to protect us. All these metas are good for is being locked up. They are a danger to society, and we need to protect ourselves. Besides, they are unnatural, abominations the lot of them. They think they can replace us, hmph."
"The worst thing that can add to these metas is aliens showing up in the world."
As the men, laughed, the blonde woman clenched her hands tightly. She wanted to give them a piece of her mind, to tell them that not all aliens and metahumans were bad. That perhaps, there were good metahuman and aliens out there. She wanted to lay them out cold, but she wisely chose to not create a scene and draw attention to herself.
She had no idea how her life would change, and change in such a dramatic way.
The blonde woman in question was named Kara Zor-El, and on Earth, she was known as Kara Danvers. She was supposed to arrive at the same time as her cousin, Kal-El, otherwise known as Clark Kent; to planet Earth. Krypton, their birth planet, was a place of scholars, explorers, and great warriors. It was more than home for her, that planet. It was where her friends and family were. Krypton represented so much for her. She was going to be part of The Science Guild, like her father, making such great breakthroughs and furthering the glory of her race.
Instead, the planet's core was collapsing, and it was too little, too late to change anything. Her family tried to convince the High Council of this danger, but no one would listen. And so, they took steps to ensure the survival of what was left of their people.
Kara and Kal were placed in pods and sent to Earth. Kara's parents had told her that under the strength of the yellow sun, she would have unfathomable powers. She would be able to protect herself and her cousin.
Unfortunately, her cousin was able to reach Earth, and her pod was swallowed up by the Phantom Zone; the planet's explosion triggered its opening. When she arrived on Earth Twenty-Four Years Later, she was found by her cousin, who was no longer a baby but a fully-grown man.
Before she could even ask anything, he used his speed to whisk her away from the crater her pod created and hid the pod she arrived in someplace safe. He took her to his home and calmly explained things to her.
Kal, or Clark had explained the cold truth. That the world they were in was a hostile world, a world that was against aliens and those who were not truly human. Clark had learned this lesson when he saw a metahuman being taken away from the DEO. His parents, the ones who found him on Earth told him about where he came from, but never wanted him to reveal his powers, for fear that he would be taken away.
With a heavy heart, he locked away his Kryptonian side, and urged Kara to do the same. The world was not ready for people like them; people who would use their powers for good. Clark did not want to risk Martha or Jonathan's lives in trying to help anyone.
Kara was furious about hearing about all of this. Kryptonian were noting like these meta-humans or other aliens. Sure, they had faults but they were not a warmongering people. With a heavy heart, she was separated from Kal as he took her to the Danvers; a group of scientists who would protect her and keep her safe.
Kara had learned that they kept Kal's secret and vowed to keep Kara safe and raise her as if she was one of their own. It was as if she lost her entire purpose, her reason for enduring the hell of the Phantom Zone. It was dangled in front of her, and then shattered into pieces as if it was nothing.
She had nowhere else to go, and so she stayed with the Danvers. Eliza and Jeremiah felt sorry for Kara. It was such a shock for her; the new life she was now leaving. And so, they did their best to make her feel right at home. They could not replace her family; but they could do their best to make her feel like she had one, that she could count on them.
It took her an entire year to get past the loss of Krypton, her loved ones, and being away from Kal before she started to be cheerier and happier. There was also another matter that she was forced to acquiesce too but still could not believe she had to do so; not using her powers.
And so , just like Kal, she wore glasses to hide her true identity. It was something she did with great reluctance. Though she did understand where her foster family was coming from; she felt resentment towards humanity for this; to hide her identity and power.
And then, there was Alexandra Danvers. In Kara's eyes, Alex should hate her for taking her parents' attention from her, and being great at science. Instead, Alex defended Kara at every turn, and was genuinely happy to have a sister. Initially, their relationship was rocky, but later, it was stronger than ever.
However, even Alex begged her to keep her powers under wraps. Whether out of jealousy or fear of her being taken away, she reluctantly accepted.

She was shaken out of her musings as the men continued to talk about metahumans. Truth be told, after her talk with Kal, she was so reluctant to come out as a member of the House of El; to show her gifts and abilities to the world. To be a savior and protector as she was meant to be.
She was meant to be a protector. And now, she could not be. Worst of all, Kal kept in touch very minimally. Though she understood he was busy; she could not help but resent him for it. Another thing that humanity took from her.
She decided to go outside to clear her head. And once again, her world would forever change.
A portal had emerged in the sky, where a woman with horns on her head, alabaster skin, and white eyes emerged dressed in the garb of royalty. Following her were two teenagers, somewhere around the age of seventeen. The woman looked at the people beneath her, and grinned savagely, as she unleashed energy from her palms, indiscriminately taking life.
The sky had darkened as Lava began to shoot up from the ground. Meteors fell from the sky, devastating the city, as skyscrapers went on fire, shattering like dominoes. To her horror, Kara saw many die in front of her.
She wanted to help them, but the warnings of Alex and Kal kept her away from doing anything. She managed to get to safety as she saw many die in front of her, knowing she could help. Perhaps, she was afraid of being taken away, of being experimented upon, of losing her family; or worse, her family being taken from her, losing them like she lost Krypton.
Kara watched as the two teens battled this alien Goddess. One was a female, covered in an ethereal purple armor, whereas one was covered in golden flames. Kara then looked on in horror as energy coalesced around the royal looking woman, and she roared; unleashing natural disasters from her fingertips, showing her great command over nature.
She was shaken out of her musings when someone bumped into her. It was a beautiful, breathtaking black-haired woman with green eyes. She helped her to her feet, as she hastily thanked her and ran away. The raven-haired woman that bumped into Kara had been looking for her mother in all of the chaos, and she found her as they tearfully embraced.
While Kara was happy for them, she couldn't also help but feel a little jealous. She missed her own mother and wished she could see her again. The last time she hugged her own mother was before she was placed in that blasted pod. If only Kara realized that it would be the last time that raven-haired woman would be able to hug her own mother again.
There was a bright light as Kara was knocked back. After what felt like an eternity, Kara woke up to see National City being bombarded in storms, tornadoes; it was as if a mushroom cloud had emerged in the city and it looked like the scene from a horror movie involving natural disasters. The sky was filled with ash and the screams of people looking for their loved ones or searching for their loved ones among the bodies.
There were tears in her eyes and anger as well. She looked to the sky to see the teens furiously battling that alien bitch. She screamed to the heavens as they continued their battle; unaware of what was going on, below them, as the battle moved higher in the atmosphere.
She looked around, and to her horror she saw the raven-haired woman sobbing so loudly and painfully. Her mother was lying on a large slab of rock, a metal bar that crushed her throat, and a metal bat that pierced her stomach. She was trying to free her mother, as Kara noticed that she was bleeding from her stomach and losing consciousness. For the first time in her life, perhaps she realized why humanity hated what was non-human.
For once in her life, Kara chose to flout the rules and throw caution to the wind. She gently pulled the woman way from her mother, and using caution, found an abandoned, ruined area in a broken building.
She took the woman to a lower floor. The raven-haired woman tried to fight her grip, but it felt like steel to her. Kara looked at her and saw her name tag on her shirt; she was an employee at LexCorp, and the sister of Lex Luthor, Lena.
"Who are you?"
"I am sorry Lena. I am sorry you lost your mother. However, you cannot lose yourself right now. Please stay calm."
Kara noticed the bleeding was getting worse, as Lena was starting to drift in and out of consciousness.
"I have to stop the bleeding. If I don't, you are going to die. Please, stay calm. I will help you."
Kara closed her eyes, as she went deep into her solar reserves. It would be the first time she would ever use her powers. She hoped she could cauterize the wound without causing too much damage. Her eyes turned red as Lena whimpered, and then she screamed as Kara was doing her best to close the hole on her stomach. She was exhausted from screaming as Kara tried to heal her as best as she could. She saw her hands caked with Lena's blood; it was a sight she would never forget.
She then carried Lena away from the building, as she stepped outside of it to see the chaos.
National City was in ruins, as people were looking for their dead, praying to the almighty for deliverance and guidance. Kara had found paramedics, as she helped a man and a woman lying near her from the carnage into an ambulance. Once they were in the clear, she secretly looked around for anyone else hurt, doing her best to not draw attention to herself.
She saw the light show in the sky as ashes and fire reigned down upon everyone; explosions lighting up the city. The city had become a battleground for three new arrivals as Kara tried to get people to safety; unaware that someone was watching her.
She wished she could have fought this woman. She had never seen such a battle like this before. It was as if she was watching scenes from a movie, or from the Kryptonian Legends Of Old; like how the Sun God Rao united the people and brought Krypton to its Golden Age. She wondered if they were Kryptonians; they could fly and do incredible things. Was it possible for Kryptonians to unleash these kind of abilities?
She had no time to ponder this, as the ground literally started to rip apart. Gravity was pulling large chunks of debris from the Earth, and with her vision, she could see the alien screaming as she was encased in a spherical prison; screaming bloody murder and that she would get revenge one day. She looked closer and saw Nine gigantic, towering beasts in the sky along with the teenagers.
Soon enough, the light show had ended, as the man covered in golden flames touched down into the city, cradling the black-haired teenager in his arms, shedding tears. Kara could see the girl wipe away the man's tears, as she kissed his lips, and crumbled into ashes. And then the man on fire screamed; his scream piercing the heavens.
Despite feeling a twinge of pity and sorrow for the man at the loss of his friend and perhaps lover, Kara was angry and incensed at this man. And as his power dissipated, she could see his features in the thick smoke; she made a mental note to remember them. Whisker-like birthmarks on his face, spiky, shaggy blonde-hair, and a handsome face with piercing sky blue yes. He was handsome, she had to admit.
And from the smoke, the nine beasts had emerged, whispering something to the man covered in golden flames, urging him to leave the battlefield. They were speaking Japanese, that much she was sure of.
Soon enough, the police had arrived at the scene, and trained their guns on the beasts and the man. The man simply stared at them, flooding them with enormous killing intent; it was as if they were staring at Death in physical form.
Everyone had dropped to their feet; weighed down by sheer pressure. The man did something with his hands and in a flash of light, the party had disappeared.
As Kara was left to contemplate these events; she would realize later on that she could not feel Kal's heartbeat on Earth; he was gone and would return much later on.
However, there were people watching this day of events. A woman who had found much needed ammunition to exact her plans. Another woman with black hair and gray skin; a real beauty who looked upon this day's events with true sadness, wondering what was going to happen next.
Kara did not know it, but the events of this day would make humanity harden their hearts towards anything that was not human. An organization would be formed that would savagely pursue, imprison, and torture non-humans. It would be a long time before peace was found on Earth-38. And it would be a long time before hope would ever shine again.
Chapter End
Well everyone, that is the chapter. I hope you all enjoy. Please read and review generously. I changed up some things and eliminated some exposition and text.
I want to clear up some things. Naruto and a Female Sasuke fought Kaguya, and she died. I am still undecided as to Naruto becoming the host for the Ten-Tails. The heart illness that Naruto had in the novels will play a role in this story; but much later on.
Superman will not appear till this story and its other parts are done. There will be a much crueler DEO in this story.
The pairing I am thinking of is Naruto/Kara/Lena/Grail/Diana. It will take time for those relationships to happen, however. I will build up to it all.
I am thinking for this story to be a Four-Part story. I hope to do this justice. Since the show is ending, it is my small tribute for this crossover.
