The Nile River, Egypt

Anubis sat by the riverbank as he absorbed energy from the Sun. He wasn't the most energetic of his pack, so he enjoyed relaxing in hot areas to soak up the Sun.

Behind him, a familiar snake creature slithered behind him. She had convinced him that she was friendly, and had even convinced the humans that she was Sekhmet.

The reality was that she was Nozuki, a serpent Titan of lies and deception.

She unfurled her hood and prepared to sink her venomous fangs into Anubis' neck, but a thunderous boom caught their attention.

Not far off, the Pyramids of Giza were overshadowed by a Titan of War and Bloodshed. Her body was similar to that of the saber-toothed cat, but she had a pair of bat-like wings on her shoulders, and a long, scorpion-like tail whipped around behind her. Her ears were protected by a pair of curled antelope horns.

It was the real Sekhmet.

Anubis looked behind him quickly and saw Nozuki behind him. Piecing together what she was doing, he found out that she was trying to kill him.

The wolf Titan turned around and leaped at her, tightly clasping her neck with his jaws. Nozuki screamed and tried to pull him off with her serpentine body, but Sekhmet flew to her 'brother's' aid and locked her jaws on the snake's tail.

Nozuki struggled and fought, eventually freeing herself of the Titan's grasp. She slipped into the Nile and swam as fast as she could, but a massive jaw rose from the water and clamped down on her.

Sobek had arisen.

Seeing a nearby rock, Nozuki rubbed her chin against it and managed to open her skin. She slithered out of her old skin and revealed a body more well-suited to the water. She quickly outswam Sobek, who was distracted by the skin in his mouth.

Seeing the snake retreat, Sekhmet rubbed up against Anubis to make sure he was OK. He growled lightly to assure her, and she purred in contentment.

Not far off, the dust settled to reveal Sekhmet's mate.

Caesar walked up to Sekhmet and rubbed his head against hers. The two lions interacted after thousands of years apart, and now, they had a chance to be together again.
