Ascension Island, Atlantic Ocean

The cephalopod-crustacean Titan swam along the outer edges of Ascension, looking for suitable prey. His crab-like legs tapped against the inside of his shell in annoyance, but he wouldn't be annoyed for long.

Kraken was quickly attacked by Bakunawa, an old rival of his. The Sea Dragon pushed him up against Boatswain Bird Rock, where resident frigate birds flew away as the rock fell into the sea.

Kraken wrapped his tentacles around the smaller Titan, but Bakunawa was slippery and slid out of his grasp easily. The Sea Dragon opened his mouth and released a current of highly-pressurized water that created an unfavorable amount of turbulence.

Disoriented by the turbulence, Kraken was unprepared as a tail slammed against his larger eye. Bakunawa spun quickly and grabbed the cephalopod's shell. He used all of his strength, but the shell held fast.

Seeing what he was trying, Kraken coiled his tentacles around the Dragon's torso. Bakunawa tried to escape, but another tentacle wrapped around his neck. The Dragon was trapped.

Until a low droning was heard. Kraken, distracted by the Orca, released Bakunawa and began to swim toward the sound.

Bakunawa, however, had other plans.

Grabbing the shell once more, and swelling his neck with all the seawater he could take in, he forced a jet of water into the shell. The amount of water rushing into Kraken's shell forced the creature out of his greatest source of protection. Now, he was vulnerable.

But Bakunawa was no longer interested in Kraken. He was only interested in aiding his King.

Boston, Massachusetts

After bowing to Godzilla, alongside his fellow Titans, Bakunawa turned to the group of humans in the rubble.

"Madison!" they yelled. "Madison!"

Bakunawa smelled a strangely familiar scent, and remembered the human that triggered the explosion that revitalized Godzilla. He inhaled the scent and followed it to one of the younger humans, who, according to his scent, was the grandson of the human that helped Godzilla.

Bakunawa slithered up to him and groaned sympathetically. He wanted to console the smaller life form.

And he did. The human pressed his hand against the Dragon's nose, before hugging it tightly.
