Note: I think you should know the relationships between Godzilla and the other "Godzillas." Zilla is Godzilla's cousin (Dagon's brother's son) and Lazarus (Shin Godzilla) is Godzilla's half-brother (from Thetis). Zilla's father mutated in a volcanic explosion, and Zilla himself mutated during his hibernation. Lazarus was mutated by a nuclear test in a reef close to Japan.

Before I go, I should also tell you that I plan on having Godzilla and Lazarus fight before long.

That's all for now! Enjoy, and please R&R!

Chapter II

Hawkins, Oregon

Tiamat swam to the coast of Oregon, eager to do as she pleased. Godzilla had ordered her to stop harming humans, but she adamantly defied him with a slap of her tail.

Tiamat's head turned when she heard the sound of water giving way for a massive creature. She barely had enough time to look before Doris' full weight fell on top of her.

Tiamat screamed and thrashed under Doris' heavy body. An ordinary whale's bones would have been crushed under their weight if they tried this, but Doris' bones were made of tungsten, like most other Titans. Tiamat was not strong enough to push against the Goddess of the Sea's Plenty.

But she knew a Titan that could.

A much larger Titan approached, the one that had given the Titans their name and was the third to be discovered.

Titanosaurus rose from the dark of the sea and rammed into Doris' side, jamming the wailing cetacean into the cliff face of Hawkins' coast. Doris unleashed her signature shriek on Titanosaurus, but Tiamat used the distraction to her advantage and swam around to attack Doris while she was focused on the spinosaurid Titan.

Tiamat had her enemy in her claws, and Titanosaurus was extremely pissed off. Doris released one last wail, a call for help that, hopefully, someone heard.

And they did.

Titanosaurus was assaulted from behind by a Titan that, although smaller than him in size, was far larger in fighting spirit.

Zilla locked his jaw around the larger Titan's neck and pushed him away from Doris, who used the distraction to throw Tiamat off of her. Doris then rammed into Titanosaurus' gut and gave Zilla an opening, which he took by latching onto the fin on his head.

Tiamat was about to attack Doris again, but she heard a bellow from far away. She recognized that sound, and it meant that she and Titanosaurus had to leave fast.

Tiamat wretched Zilla off of her partner and told him to swim away. He did as she said and followed her along the coast, avoiding the approaching beast.

Zilla and Doris shared a look. Why would their enemies leave so suddenly.

Then they saw the silhouette. A massive creature, far larger than Zilla, with crystalline spines and burning yellow eyes.

Godzilla approached the two Titans. He was upset that Tiamat and Titanosaurus got away, but he would confront them later.

He uttered a friendly growl to Zilla, who growled in return. The two were good friends when they were young, and even now, they had a bond that few could break.

The King then turned to Doris. She lowered her head and averted her gaze in submissive respect.

Godzilla growled to acknowledge her as one of his subjects. He granted her the title of Queen of the Sea, for her fearlessness in the face of certain danger.

Doris looked up at him in confusion. Why would he choose her?

But there was no changing his mind. He gave her a soft look, before swimming back to Monster Island.

Zilla decided to stay with Doris. She would need a lot of help in her first days as Queen.

Jon swam out in his swim trunks, while Ken swam with a snorkel on the surface. Jon didn't need a snorkel or scuba gear, as he could modify his genes to create gills on his neck.

The hybrid swam down to meet Doris, who seemed to be exhausted. He kept his distance so he wouldn't bother her, but still, he was in awe of her.

Was she the whale that Herman Melville wrote about in his book? Was this the creature that swallowed Jonah before vomiting him onto dry land? Was she the beast that devoured Geppetto in Carlo Collodi's tale of Pinocchio?

One may never know, but there was one thing that Jon did know: She was a creature unlike any that he had ever seen.
