Note: It will be a while before I release the Endgame story, Come Hell or High Water. Before I release it, I plan on releasing stories that focus on Minya, Rodan, SpaceGodzilla, and the battles between the Titans during Flight of the Three-Headed Devil, along with other stories.

Enjoy, and please R&R!

Skull Island

Ghidorah's scream was heard throughout the world. It was even heard on Skull Island, where Skull-Crawlers ran like mad across the island to get to the coast.

Kong, Varan, and Gorosaurus stemmed the tide and killed the Skull-Crawlers as they tried to fight past the kings.

Kong grabbed a Crawler by it's head and slammed it against another Skull-Crawler. He then grabbed another Crawler as it ran past and swung it into a cliff face.

Varan glided down to the ground and locked his jaws around a Skull-Crawler's neck and twisted it violently. The Crawler's neck snapped as the creature fell to the ground, dead.

Gorosaurus ran over the horde of Skull-Crawlers with his muscular legs. He used his massive tail to slam a group of Crawlers into a mountain, rendering them dead in an instant.

Unbeknownst to them, a new Titan had arisen from the Hollow Earth. He was like-minded in the fight against the Skull-Crawlers, but he was from the Land Beneath.

Kong heard the newcomer's roars. They sounded... familiar, like the roars of his brethren before the Skull-Crawlers wiped them out.

The Crawlers in the area sufficiently subdued, Kong wandered over to where the roars were. He parted the trees, and saw a sight that shocked him to the core.

It was an apelike Titan, like him, but different. The newcomer was covered in white fur, and his skin was pink. His eyes were a ferocious blue, and he walked on all-fours like the gorillas of Africa.

It was Hannuman, the Jabari Gorilla God.

After killing the Skull-Crawlers that tried to attack him, Hannuman looked up and saw Kong standing there, watching him. Feeling threatened, the white gorilla stood on his legs and beat his fists against his chest, roaring in a vain attempt to intimidate the much larger Kong.

The King of Skull Island was not impressed. Kong pounded his fists into his chest with all his strength, and unleashed a monstrous roar that far surpassed the smaller gorilla.

Hannuman, realizing that Kong was no pushover, backed down and lowered his head, his face going from fierce to fearful in a second.

Varan, wondering where his surrogate father went, appeared from the forest, and saw the smaller, lighter version of Kong. Curious, the gliding lizard crawled up to Hannuman and flicked his tongue at the gorilla's arm. Sensing the fearful pheromones that Hannuman gave off, Varan moaned in a friendly manner.

Gorosaurus appeared next to Kong, who looked to him for guidance. Gorosaurus was the one who helped him raise Varan and maintain the integrity of Skull Island. Surely, the older, wiser therapod knew what to do.

Gorosaurus, however, just returned the stare. It was time for Kong to take on the responsibility of being King. He would have help, but the title fell on him alone.

Understanding, Kong returned his gaze to Hannuman, who was gently rubbing the side of his hand against Varan's skin. The lizard enjoyed the feeling and made no threatening movements.

Hannuman saw that Kong had continued looking at him. Submissively, the white gorilla bowed his head and held his hand out. Few creatures knew what he was doing, but Kong knew, almost instinctively.

Hannuman was asking Kong for permission to stay on the island.

Kong was known as a good king to the Iwi Tribe. He earned his title well.

Reaching down, Kong grabbed one of the dead Skull-Crawlers at his feet and handed it to Hannuman. The white gorilla looked up at the King to see him nod his head in acceptance.

Hannuman was now a respected Titan on Skull Island.
