Ollie was hanging out by his locker on his phone as he waited for Sam in the hallway of the school. He then saw Sam walking slowly towards him. She looked as tired as ever.
"Must've been some party huh?" Ollie jokingly asked.
"I never wanna drink that much again," said Sam.
"City High kids know how to party. I'll give them that." said Ollie.
"What's in the duffle bag?" Sam asked.
"It's what I worked on last night." Ollie answered with confidence. He was about to unzip it to pull out one of the pikbots but suddenly the clone walked up to Ollie and Sam. It wore sunglasses to hide its true eyes.
"Hello classmates." it said.
"Uh, hi." said Ollie, worried.
"Would you mind telling me where the plant science room is?"
"It's on the second floor where it always is." Sam explained, very confused.
"Thank you." the clone said. It gave a very creepy smile and walked off with two toads trailing behind it.
"That's not normal right?" Sam asked Ollie.
"Peach never wears sunglasses indoors," said Ollie.
"No not that, though that is a weird thing to do."
"I mean she might have gotten back from an eye doctor appointment."
"Those aren't what those glasses look like. And that's not even what I was talking about. I meant how she had two Toads behind her, and they weren't evil." Sam explained.
"Oh yeah. Weird," said Ollie. Sam began to slowly follow the clone up to the second floor. Ollie, confused on what to do, reluctantly followed her. The two followed the clone all the way to the botany lab upstairs. They hid next to the door and peaked their heads into spy. The clone pulled out the packs of Toad spores out from her pocket and placed them on the lab table. Ollie and Sam began whispering to each other.
"What is she doing?" asked Ollie.
"I think she's making more Toads." Sam answered. She did not like this.
"Maybe she just finally got them to work." suggested Ollie. He didn't seem to phased about this.
"Then explain the crown on her head. It looks like it's stuck." commented Sam.
"I don't know, a new fashion statement?" asked Ollie. Sam rolled her eyes and continued to spy. The clone had amassed six new toads. It looked around the room and noticed a big ray gun that was attached to the ceiling. It gave an evil smile and went over to use it on the toads.
"Ollie what does that big gun do?" asked Sam.
"Oh, it's to supercharge your plants…" Ollie soon realized the problem the two of them were about to face. The clone blasted the six toads with the ray gun. The toads began to shake violently and without warning their heads popped off. But they regrew new heads and their previous heads grew bodies. Sam and Ollie shared the same look of fear in their eyes.
"Ollie where's the suit?"
"The suit?"
"My suit?!"
"Oh! Robotics lab." The two then scurried away back downstairs to grab the suit that Suzie made for Sam. The clone heard them running away and sent some toads after them. Once they made it to the lab, Sam quickly locked the door to the lab. She began panicking looking for the suit.
"Where is it?! Where is it?! This is an emergency!" panicked Sam. Ollie saw a blue morph suit on a table. He walked over to it and examined it.
"I think this is it." He spoke. Sam looked at him and the suit.
"That can't be it, where's the rest of it!?" Sam frantically asked.
"Hey, is that a toad?" a random student in the hallway said. Commotion began to happen as the toads began attacking the students. Over the PA system principal Reggie told the students to evacuate as fast as possible.
"This is bad." commented Ollie.
"Are we sure this is the suit?" Sam questioned. She really examined it. It was a nice fabric.
"Look, it was on the same table where Suzie was working yesterday. We can only assume this is it." Ollie reassured.
"Okay, don't look," said Sam.
"Yeah, same to you." Ollie replied. The two of them began to change into their respective superhero suits.
MEANWHILE AT THE MARIO BROS. RESIDENCE
"Aye Mario! The mayor just called." said Luigi. He was in the kitchen cooking up breakfast for him and Mario. Mario was on the couch watching TBS.
"What she say?" asked Mario.
"Said there was trouble down at the gifted school again." explained Luigi.
"Alrighty then. Suit up brother." Mario said as he got off the couch. Luigi stopped cooking and the two of them went and threw on their respective clothes. The classic red and green combo. The two emerged from the mansion they resided in. "To the school!" exclaimed Mario. The two hopped in their go kart and headed for the school.
