KellHound270's Work

The droning was heard by all conscious Titans, all over the world. However, no place experienced the effects like Skull Island did.

The Skull-Crawlers ripped and tore through the forests to get to the sound. It annoyed them greatly, and they wanted nothing more than to destroy the source of the sound.

Fortunately, they wouldn't be getting very far.

Kong slammed his fist into a Crawler's face and swung it into a mountain by it's tail. Another Skull-Crawler tried to render aid to it's brethren, but Kong had grown too big for it to bring him down.

Varan roared as he clamped his jaws around a Skull-Crawler's neck. A sickening pop was heard as the Crawler's windpipe was dislocated. The unfortunate creature vainly tried to breath as Varan smacked another Crawler with his tail.

Gorosaurus kicked away a Skull-Crawler that was trying to gnaw on his leg to give it's comrades an opportunity to escape. The therapod bit into another Crawler and pulled it into the air before throwing it into a mountain.

Kong was being swarmed by Skull-Crawlers. They all tried to pull him down to give themselves a path to freedom, but Varan crawled over top of them and clawed them away, protecting his surrogate father.

A particularly big Skull-Crawler, one descended from Ramarak, launched itself at Gorosaurus and tried to choke him. Kong, having a hatred for Ramarak's lineage, grabbed the Crawler by it's neck and threw it towards Varan, who smacked it with his tail.

Kong assisted Varan in killing the large Skull-Crawler, using a boulder to crush it's skull in. Varan used his gliding abilities to perch atop a nearby mountain, and saw that the Skull-Crawlers had stopped trying to cross the ocean. He listened for the annoying droning, and found that it had ceased.

But, in the Skull-Crawler's place would come the Death-Runners, maniraptoran reptiles that hunted in packs. The leader of this vicious pack was Gaw, a large, red Death-Runner that had a reputation for hunting things bigger than her.

Among these large targets was Kong.

The Death-Runners swarmed Kong like flies on decaying flesh. He roared as he tried to swat them off, but each Runner that was killed was replaced by several more.

Varan saw his mentor's affliction and glided down to swipe Gaw and several Runners off of Kong's shoulder. Gorosaurus ran over and closed his jaws around Gaw, before throwing the Runner into the forest, separating her from the pack.

Kong rolled over in the dirt to crush the Runners and force them off. Varan chased several off and devoured several more. Gorosaurus crushed many Runners beneath his feet. Finally, the Death-Runners fled in fear, having been decimated greatly in the fight.

Kong, Varan, and Gorosaurus roared in victory. The crisis averted, the trio looked over the sea. Varan growled at whatever had caused the droning, and was comforted by a large, hairy hand on his head. Kong petted his ward gently as he bore an intense look over the ocean.

He solidified his status by beating his chest and roaring. This served as a warning to anyone across the ocean who dared to disturb his abode.

A warning that would go unheeded in the future.
