KellHound270's Work

Note: I understand that you guys don't really like my design ideas for Sekhmet, Typhon, and Kraken. However, the x-rays from Godzilla: King of the Monsters show a snakelike Titan by Sekhmet's name, and a starfish-type creature by Typhon's name. Also, I wanted to use the Kraken from the Clash of the Titans movie, since that's the only creature I can see Kraken being.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but for Sekhmet and Typhon, I really like these ideas. They're unique. And don't worry, I won't make them boring.

Anyway, hope you enjoy, and please R&R!

Chapter III

Outpost 32, Antarctica

The Osprey carried Mark, Serizawa, Graham, Chen, and Colonel Foster to the outpost. Another carried a team to stop the Red Bamboo before they woke up Monster Zero.

The second Osprey opened the cargo bay, and Steven Rogers/Nomad, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, and Sam Wilson/Falcon ran out to the outpost. Nomad took point.

"Keep your eyes sharp," Widow warned quietly. "Intel suggests that Tony Masters is with them."

"Taskmaster," Nomad said, remembering the mercenary from their encounter in 2017.

The path was really quiet. Too quiet for Steve's taste. His instincts were proven correct when he saw a shadow on the wall ahead.

He gestured to Black Widow, who nodded and ran around the corner, tackling the terrorist to the ground and rendering two other unconscious with a few swift kicks.

"Nice work," Sam complimented.

"Thanks," Natasha responded. The group walked further down the corridor, and saw the enormous glacier that held Monster Zero. They looked down and saw the Red Bamboo placing explosive charges in the holes they drilled earlier.

"Go, Sam," Steve said. Falcon unfurled his wings and flew down to try and stop them.

"We have company!" Alan Jonah yelled. The Red Bamboo opened fire on the winged hero. He moved too fast for them to get a proper aim, but the space was filled with girders and walkways, constricting his movement greatly.

Steve and Natasha jumped down and fought several terrorists off to try and get to Jonah. However, a single man in white robes, wearing a skull mask, stood in the center.

"Good to see you again, Rogers," he said.

"Can't really say the same," Steve replied.

He and Natasha fought Taskmaster with all they had, but every single move they made was countered or redirected.

Falcon made one more sweep over the terrorists before landing in front of Emma Russell. He saw that she was holding the detonator.

"Emma," he said. "trust me, this isn't the way."

He held his hand out to take it, should she decide to give it up. She held it up, but her thumb was on the trigger.

"Run."

Her thumb pushed the button.

The explosives detonated and tore the ice apart.

Nomad and Black Widow ran for the nearest elevator, while the Red Bamboo and Taskmaster ran for the other.

"This is not how I wanted this day to go," Steven said.

The former Avengers ran across the collapsing ice, with several G-Team soldiers running out to help them. Finally, the ice stopped caving in when the hole had reached almost half a kilometer in diameter. Nomad, Widow, Falcon, and the soldiers took a moment to catch their breath, but the break would be short lived.

The Orca's signal rang out. The hole was filled with clouds that flashed with yellow light, like lightning.

A single tail rose from the hole. The spikes at the end opened up, cracking the ice that had frozen them so long ago.

A head revealed itself. It was like a dragon's, with sharp teeth and curved horns. Soon, another tail rose, and two more heads followed.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding," Barnes muttered.

"Language," Steve said under his breath.

The central head opened it's eyes and growled at the tiny creatures before it.

The soldiers ran as Monster Zero freed it's wings. Each wing tore out of the ice and sent boulders of ice rolling across the frozen landscape. The center and right head screeched at the soldiers as they opened fire, while the left head lurched forward and sniffed at one of the humans. The middle head nudged the left head and growled at it. Monster Zero's chest began to glow a golden yellow, which traveled up the three necks. One of the soldiers knew what was going to happen.

"Oh, shi-"

Before he could finish, the three heads opened their mouths as yellow beams of lightning turned most of the team to ash. Steve, Natasha, Sam, and three other soldiers ran away to the waiting Ospreys.

The left head flicked it's tongue at the ashen remains, earning an annoyed growl from the middle head. Clearly, the left head had a very aloof mind.

The heads then looked at the ospreys and pursued the soldiers.

The second Osprey, which the Avengers and G-Team had come in, was crushed by one of the flying ice boulders from earlier. They instead piled into the remaining Osprey. The pilot turned the rotors on and revved them up to full speed.

A single lightning bolt struck the Osprey's rotors, rendering them useless. Monster Zero closed in for the kill, screeching eagerly.

Then it stopped.

The three heads rose up to look around, sniffing and tasting the air. They knew something was wrong, but what was it?

With a massive boom, the ice gave way to a creature of monstrous proportions. The spines on it's back glowed blue to signify it's fury, and it's pillar-like legs kept it upright.

It was Godzilla.

Monster Zero stood it's ground and roared angrily at it's sworn enemy. It had been trapped by this Titan and his allies for so long, and now it was time that it had it's revenge.

Godzilla snarled in reply. He remembered the chaos that Monster Zero had caused in it's attempts to usurp his power. He would not let that happen. He would die trying, if it came to that.

Monster Zero raised it's wings as an intimidation display. Godzilla readied himself for the coming battle, and inhaled for a mighty roar that was followed by Monster Zero's loud screams.
