This is what I want to see in episode 22 of season 4 (aka episode 100). I know this wont be what really happens, but that's the nice thing about fanfics. You write what you want, and this is mine. I did start this before any of the trailers had been released, other than the leaked script that had snuck out.

Ladybug couldn't believe that the team had failed against Moolak. How had this happened? Ten of them had not been enough; the entire team with the exception of Pigella and Rena Furtive, who was still working behind the scenes as their secret agent, had failed. Nothing could break the safe where her lucky charm had given her the hint that his akuma was hiding in.

"We need Cat Noir," finally Viperion had summarized.

"I know," Ladybug answered cursing in her mind that she had not followed through sooner on Su-Han's insistence that she needed to know his identity if she was going to be the Guardian. "But he's not answering!" She had tried to reach him through her yo-yo at least a dozen times via both text and phone call but there had been no response.

Viperion looked again at the akuma victim. He had been determined to take this secret to his grave if need be and never indicate to Ladybug that knew what he had accidentally found out. There was only one way to save him. Viperion had to admit it.

"I know where he is," Viperion said, his voice resolute in its resolve.

"How?" Carapace asked beating Ladybug to the question while still holding his shield, ready to throw it to stop another one of Moolak's attacks.

"Later," Viperion told the turtle themed hero as he grabbed Ladybug's right hand and pulled her towards and area where the two could have a moment alone. "You have to trust me," he said to her as they were in an alley alone.

Ladybug had put everything together. Somehow, he had found out at least Cat Noir's identity, if not hers as well. She had to know. "Do you…"

Viperion looked down in shame. He didn't want to admit what he was about to and could only whisper, "Yes," with a nod.

Their eyes met and Ladybug thought about the two of them in their civilian identities on their failed dates. How long had he known this? Had he known all along? After all, Alya had been close to finding out her identity a couple of times. "Viperion," she said looking into his eyes again, her confidence building in the snake themed hero, then whispered one word, "Luka."

His glance met hers. He wanted to tell her the truth but didn't dare say it out loud, just in case someone, or something, was watching. "Ladybug?" He asked.

"Go!"

And with that, the snake themed hero was off in a blur. He knew where Adrien was, but getting him alone would be tricky. Today was the press event for the upcoming tour that he and Lila Rossi would be taking as ambassadors for the Gabriel Brand. And in light of the akuma attack, the Montparnesse Tower would certainly be in lockdown. Getting in would be tricky, but not impossible for the hero, as he could scale the walls if need be, which is what it would take.

It barely took Viperion a moment to reach the roof, where he was able to access the elevator down to the level of Style Queen Magazine, which is where the event was going on, but he wouldn't go directly there. He decided to stop three floors above their highest most floor and went into a restroom. He whispered out of fear that someone else could be inside, but quickly checked underneath all of the toilet stall doors and saw no feet, so he figured he was safe. "Sass, scales rest," Viperion whispered and his kwami reappeared as his transformation dropped.

"Luka?" The small snake kwami asked he grabbed his stomach.

"I know Sass, but there's no other choice," Luka answered the unasked question from his kwami. He reached around his pocket and realized he had nothing for his kwami to eat. "I'm sure there's food at their press thing. I'll grab you something there."

Sass nodded as he hid in Luka's hair on the back of his head.

Luka was surprised to see almost nobody in the room with the buffet table still set up. In fact there were only three people. Lila and Adrien he had expected; the third he hadn't. "Adrien?"he said as he entered the room.

Adrien was shocked. Had Luka been in the tower the whole time? He had tried to escape the two people he was with but couldn't think of a good excuse until now. "What are you doing here?" Adrien asked.

Luka knew that Bob Roth Records also had office space in the tower, so he quickly made up an excuse. "I was with my dad," Luka said, "and he had an idea for a new song. You interested in seeing how Jagged works?"

Adrien looked at Nathalie. This had been the first time he had been out in public with her in a very long time and he still didn't understand why. But she was his chaperone in this event. "Please Nathalie?"

Nathalie was conflicted. On one hand, Gabriel had told her to not let Adrien out of his sight, but on the other, she knew how big of a fan of Jagged Stone. She sighed and relented, but started heading with them.

This wasn't going to work. For Luka to tell Adrien, he needed him and him alone. "No offense, madam," Luka said, "but I was lucky that he said I could bring Adrien."

Again a sigh. This had been the first time since the beginning of the school year where she didn't explicitly obey Gabriel's commands regarding Adrien. "Just don't leave the tower," she relented.

"Great," Luka said smiling, as he grabbed Adrien's hand but not before grabbing a couple of hor d'oeuvres for Sass from the buffet table that was still set up.

Luka led Adrien into the stairs to head back up towards the roof but entered a floor two from the roof that Viperion's enhanced hearing had told him that was completely unoccupied when he had entered. They went into the restroom of that floor. This would be where he would admit everything that Luka could share.

"Adrien," Luka said before he put the hor d'oeuvres on the counter, "Cat Noir."

"How do you know?" Adrien asked in absolute shock. To his knowledge, nobody knew that Adrien was the person behind Cat Noir's mask.

"Later," Luka said as Sass came out from his hair and stared munching on one of the morsels.

Adrien instantly understood. "Plagg," Adrien said into his shirt, "I know its not camembert, but this'll have to do."

"But when?" Adrien asked as he watched the kwamis eating.

"There's no time," Luka said as Sass finished his. "Ladybug needs us; she needs you!" He raised his left arm, and then called for his transformation, "Sass, scales slither!"

Adrien looked on in awe as Luka was replaced by the snaked themed hero, although Adrien had known that Luka had been issued the snake miraculous during the fight with Desparada. "Plagg?" He asked to his kwami.

"The cats out of the bag anyway," Plagg answered with a slight smirk from the pun.

"Right," as Adrien raised his clenched right hand and said his phrase. "Plagg, claws out!"

The two raced back to the Place des Vosges, where Viperion had left Ladybug. Both of them had been stunned to see the people they did lying on the ground, almost unconscious: Nino, Max, Kim, and Juleka. Luka rushed towards his sister for a moment but stopped. No one could know his relationship to her; not even Ladybug who probably already knew that they were siblings just in case.

"Perfect," Moolak said seeing the two new heroes entering the park. "Two of the last three I need. Now where did that pesky little insect go!"

"You'll never touch my lady!" Cat Noir screamed. In spite of their recent difficulty together with all the secrets she had been keeping from him, she was still the one he was completely smitten with. Even Marinette, whom he had been finding more of a connection to recently couldn't compare to the way he cared for Ladybug.

As Moolak moved, Cat Noir couldn't believe what he saw. Ladybug, his lady also laying motionless; almost unconscious except for the moans weakly coming from her mouth.

"No!" Cat Noir shouted as he called for his cataclysm and his hand became engulfed in its destructive energy.

Viperion went towards where Ladybug laid as Cat Noir charged the akuma. But as the snake hero touched Ladybug's prone form, her image disappeared. "What the?" He asked himself before realizing what had happened and turned towards Cat Noir. "Cat Noir, she's fine!"

Cat Noir immediately stopped his attack and his charged hand dropped to his side. "Rena," he whispered in understanding. His lady was safe, but this villian had apparently stolen the miraculous that Ladybug had given to his friends. This would not be allowed to stand. Both this akuma and Shadow Moth himself would pay dearly for this.

"Kitty," a familiar voice called for him from the top of the Dupain-Cheng bakery across the street from the park.

"Mi Lady!" Cat Noir sighed in relief.

"I'm fine kitty. The safe," she told him. "His akuma's in the safe!"

"Right," he agreed.

"Viperion, distract him!" Ladybug ordered.

"On it!" Viperion responded. He began circling the akuma, which seemed to take the villain's attention away from the safe. However a beam hit Viperion and his transformation began to quickly fade

Cat Noir was able to take advantage of the diversion. Right as Viperion had been hit by the beam, Cat Noir touched the safe and it instantly began to crumble to bits, which released the familiar black and purple butterfly.

Ladybug pounced into action as the akuma was freed. "No more evil doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She called as her yo-yo captured the akuma. "Gotcha!" And then her familiar calls as she released the purified butterfly rang out, "Bye-bye little butterfly. Miraculous ladybug!" She called throwing the black and red spotted miniature safe into the air, which began the miraculous cure. Instantly, all the heroes who had been exposed, re-emerged in their costumes again.

"What happened?" Carapace asked to Viperion.

"We weren't enough this time," he answered.

"Now I get what Rena Rouge had said before she went away. There was a reason that the ladybug and black cat miraculous were the most powerful," Carapace said as he searched around the rooftops, wondering if Rena Furtive had been somewhere helping them all along.

The group then looked to see who had been akumatized into Moolak. The were surprised to see who it was.

As Cat Noir ran off along the rooftops with Viperion, Ladybug slowly had the others separate so she could get all the miraculous back. It was more drawn out than needed, but Ladybug still felt the need to keep all the others in the dark about everyones' identities.

Cat Noir and Viperion re-entered the tower, once again finding Nathalie in the room where they had left her after the two had detransformed.

"Thanks Luka," Adrian said as Luka started to head back out, although this time would be via the main entrance since the akuma alert had been cancelled.

"No problem," Luka said smiling. "Any time you need to talk, just call me. I'm always here for my friends.

Adrien felt incredibly relieved. No longer did he have to hide everything about his life to everyone. He had at least one person who he could be completely open with, and that was an incredible freeing feeling.

Later that evening, Marinette boarded the Coufaine houseboat. She saw everyone from Kitty Section rehearsing, other than Luka. She kept looking for him but was surprised when Juleka approached.

"You looking for my brother?" Juleka said clearly.

Marinette smiled. She was still shocked by in the aftermath of giving her the tiger miraculous, it changed Juleka for the better. She was more assertive now and didn't mumble any longer. "That obvious?"

"Yeah," Juleka said suppressing a chuckle. "He's in his room."

Marinette nearly tripped down the stairs. She still wondered if what she was doing was a major mistake or not and looked into her bag. Surprisingly, Tikki just shrugged. The kwami of creation had no words of encouragement or begging Marinette to reconsider what she was doing.

"I know it's silly," Marinette said to Tikki, "but if he knows, then what can I do to change that?"

Marinette knocked on his door but there was no answer, other than the strumming of a guitar and someone mumbling something. She quietly opened the door, and saw him with a notebook in his lap, still strumming his guitar. The riff sounder very similar to Clara Nightengale's song Miraculous, but slightly different.

"Luka," she finally said after a minute.

Luka gasped, not expecting to be seen. But he smiled when he saw it was Marinette. Even though his hopes of a romantic relationship was gone, he still greatly enjoyed Marinette's company. If all they had was to be friends, that would be okay with him.

He looked past her just to make sure that no one else was down with her, then invited her in and closed the door.

"How long have you known?" Marinette asked, cutting straight to the point.

He smiled again. His finding out her secret had explained everything that had happened. "I'd suspected for a long time," Luka admitted, "but I didn't know until Wishmaker."

"Cat Noir too?" She asked.

"Yeah, him too." Luka looked at her. She knew she would want more, but he couldn't give it. But he could give her something. "Just know this, once you find out for real, everything will make sense."

Marinette thought what he could mean for a moment but then just sighed. "Will I be disappointed?"

Luka smiled. "No." His answer was simple and to the point.

Just then, Luka's phone buzzed. A familiar tone then went off on Marinette's as well. "I guess you want this back," Luka said handing the snake miraculous back to her.

"Yeah, its probably for the best," she said taking it, but instantly doubted it. After all, the fact that Alya would be in danger no matter what Marinette would do was the reason she permanently gave her the fox miraculous. The same reasoning now applied to Luka as well. But that would wait.

"You should get out of here before the alert goes viral," Luka said. "We'll talk later."

Marinette quickly left the boat finding an alley to transform again.

I deliberately left blank who Moolak would be, as I have three or four likely possibilities. I'm both excited too see Ephemeral this weekend, but also expecting to be disappointed with it since it appears like this episode will be very similar to Cat Blanc where nobody other than Marinette plus whoever helps her undo the events as a result of Ephemeral being akumatized. I really wanted this episode to have a twist that would change the course of this season. In addition, I want some sort of interaction between Marinette and Luka or Adrien and Luka that will let at least one of them know that he knows both their identities. In fact, I was surprised that this was not picked up in episode 19, much like Mr Pigeon 72 followed directly from Gang of Secrets.
