"Sein... can you explain why there are LASER IN A FOREST?" Ori shouts, really wanting to know where it comes from
"I... I don't know, it must be infused with some dark energy or something" Sein explains, also not knowing about any of this.
"how about we just continue our journey instead of complaining?" Fil suggest, as Sein and Ori nods and follow Fil's lead as they passed the laser section. Walking a bit further they arrive at the spirit well.
"is this the spirit well that has been used recently?" Ori asks Fil, Fil examines the spirit well in hope feeling a strong aura that may have been left behind "yes, it is! this one was used a day ago" Fil says, bringing hope two the other 2 spirits "let's go find the spirit!" Ori shouts out in happiness
"Ori, we also need to retrieve the water vein" Sein says, quickly ending Ori's moment "right..." Ori mumbles. "Look it's the Gumo" Fil says pointing down
The 3 immediately started following the Gumo again, jumping down from platform to platform. Until they land on a bridge "there he is!" Ori points toward the Gumo, but the Gumo was prepared and grabbed a lever. The three spirits look beneath them "it's a trap!" Sein yells as all of them try to get to safety but the Gumo switched the lever and the 3 all start to fall.
The area is wide and Fil couldn't grab a wall "FIL!" Ori shouts, Fil turns his head to Ori
"YES?"
"PREPARE YOURSELF!" with a quick move Ori grabs Fil's arm and launches him at a wall now nearing the ground. Sein quickly saves herself by using her spirit flame as a flamethrower again softening her landing by quite a bit. Ori on the other hand took almost a full impact but absorbed a bit of the damage with a timed knee bend and a roll forward.
Fil slides down the wall, rushing to Ori "hey, Ori? buddy? are you alright?!" Fil asks, grabbing him by his shoulders.
"ugh... I'm fine, just... a little rest is all I need" Ori tries to get up bit struggles quite a bit. The Gumo jumps down too and runs to the right.
"the Gumo!" Sein shouts and goes after it "but what if it's a trap?!" Fil shouts back, but Sein didn't listen to focused on getting the ancient relic back, Fil groans and goes after Sein worried that Sein is going to fall for the trap.
"urgh... hey, wait up!" Ori yells, tries to get up but barely manages it and starts rushing after them.
The three now running moving platforms, the Gumo goes down and so does Sein. Ori and Fil just follow Sein and as the three get closer to the Gumo, the Gumo stomps on the ground and when he sees us getting near he flees
"Darn it!" Sein yells as she fails to catch the Gumo. "Sein! I told you to stop this might be a tra-" Fil got cut off as the ground start to shake, the three look at each other with worried eyes as the ground continues to tremble. Then out of no where a worm jumps out of the ground spitting a liquid projectile towards them.
"run!" Fil shouts as the three immediately jump out of the way. The worm then tries to go back underground but not before Sein shot it once. "what are we suppose to do against that?!" Ori yells Sein focusses on the enemy "we're gonna take it down" Fil says, Sein then stands above the hole of the worm and drops a charged flame in the hole. "wait, that does not work like tha-" Fil was cut off when the charged flame exploded inside the hole the worm dug down. Sein gave him a stare and Fil's face was priceless. "did it work?" Ori asks, looking at them and then once in the hole which was pretty messed up "it probably did, let's continue" Sein comes to conclusion, the three then enter the next room.
The room was filled with giant boulders that elevate up and down, the three waited for the best moment to go and eventually it happened.
As they continue they see a huge way down platforms we're made but constructed that only something or someone that could jump high. "stop" Fil suddenly spoke "what? why?" Sein asks "if you guys go down there there is no way for you guys to get up" Fil explains and as much as Sein didn't want to endanger another spirit by going somewhere alone, he was right. "alright, but stay safe alright" Fil nods and headed down.
Fil wanders around the area carefully once down he notices water, but it was purple colored "huh..." Fil looks at it and then decides to throw a rock into the lake, the rock started to heat up and smoke is clearly coming off of it. Fil carefully looks around the lake, he soon spots wooden platform floating on the water. Fil take the risk and jumps on one of them "this is strong wood... and new..." Fil continues to jump from platform to platform, as he reaches the end of the lake there was a hole in the wall. Fil goes and takes a closer look and as he looks through it he sees a small campsite, Fil then decides to crawl through the hole. The campsite is pretty empty, but the fire was put out not long ago, rustling soon came from the bushes as Fil examines the campfire.
"who's there?" Fil stands up grabbing a piece of wood as a weapon. Slowly Fil approaches the bushes, Fil takes a deep breath and in a blink of an eye Fil jumps trough the bush and holds the sharp wooden piece in his hand high in the air and when he was about to strike a voice called to him.
"FIL?!" Fil stopped mid attack and looks at who he was about to attack, he looks it in the eyes "Leru?! what are you doing here?" Fil just spat out. "I could ask you the same! you just don't hijack someone's home!" Leru argues, Fil looks around 'home?' he thought to himself, he looks back at Leru "first off, I'm not hijacking you're so called home and second I am here because I'm trying to restore the forest with a few friends who're waiting for me" Fil explains and Leru just gazes at him "save... the forest?" Leru just looks at him confused and Fil nods "sounds like a lot of fun! can I join?" Fil face turns into a face full of question 'how can saving the forest be fun?! IT'S DANGEROUS AS HECK' but he could not reject her he needed as much help as possible. "alright then, follow me" Fil turns around and signaled her to follow, Leru starts to get exited and rushes after Fil.
"sooo... what's gonna happen when we restore the forest?" Ori asks out of boredom "We all continue doing our own things" Sein answers waiting patiently for Fil to return.
"what are you gonna do?" Ori asks Sein specifically "I? well, I'm probably gonna continue watching over the forest since that's my job" Sein simple explained, But Ori just looks at her "isn't that like extremely boring?" because sitting in one place and doing nothing but watching, is in his ears not the most pleasant thing to do "well... that's kinda true, but it needs to be done" Sein says with a sigh.
"Hey guys, I'm back!" Fil shouts while climbing back up "and I did not came back empty handed... sorta" Fil says climbing over the edge on solid floor and the something jumped over Fil "hello fellow adventurers!" Leru greets in full excitement landing in front of Fil.
"Leru!" Leru opens her eyes and gasps as she saw someone she knows "Sein!" Leru shouts and tackle hugs Sein out of joy "I thought I'd never see you again" Leru says while hugging the crap out of Sein "gee, I missed you too but... can't breathe" Leru let go of Sein noticing another Spirit "hey, who're you?" Ori looks around and then points at himself "yeah you" Leru takes a leap and lands infront of Ori "that's Ori, he's... well, the chosen one" Sein says introducing Leru to Ori, Leru examines Ori from head to toe.
"the chosen one, huh? you're pretty cute" Leru complements while giving Ori a friendly grin "uh, thanks?" Ori sratches the back of his head "now, tell me, tell me, are you Sein's new Boyfriend?" Leru asks raising her voice on purpose so that Sein could hear it, but Ori drops his head sideways with a very confused face. While Sein head went from a Lily of the valley to a red tomato "W-what" Leru just giggles, Ori was just there standing having no idea what's going. Fil just walks up to Ori and gives him a few pats on the shoulder "you'll learn what that means, when the Spirit tree properly educates you" Fil tells Ori and sighs. "alright we're leaving, c'mon let's go" Fil shouts as he signaled a follow hand sigh. "wha... why not tell me now" Ori says annoyed swing his arms up and down.
the four of them now continue going deeper in the cave, trying to find the Gumo. "so, Sein? what can Ori do? anything special" Leru asks, interested in Ori's backstory "well, he has the light of the Spirit tree which grands him a electric aura increasing his physical abilities" Sein explains as simple as possible. soon a rubble is heard from a little further up.
"it's another laser beam, Sein did you install those?" Leru asks. "I've beem seeing those ever since I entered this place and it's quite dangerous"
"no" Sein says. "I did not place those things there, they may are naturally generated ever since the forest has blinded, our main problem is how we are going to get past it"
The girls are thinking, while Ori and Fil just look at the beam "boulder?" Fil says. "boulder :D" Ori replies with a grin
"what if we-" BAM Sein was cut off "what was that?" Leru and Sein look over to the beam, only to see that Fil & Ori stopped the beam and continue their path. Leru & Sein look at each other and then rushed over to the beam to see what stopped it. "a boulder?" Leru was a little shocked. "where did they even find that boulder?" Sein then points to a area where there are quite a few boulder "oh..."
After a while of walking they encounter a acid lake, this time the girls decided to watch what the boys are going to do. "... log?" Fil asks "logs :D" Ori replies and proceed to throw a log in the acid lake
"so... that's how they are doing it" Leru says just watching them. "yep, Ori for some reasons has godlike strength" Sein says as she remembers Ori's strength.
*a while later*
Ori and the other continue their path trying to find the Gumon, soon enough they stumble across him again. "hey, that's the Gumon who stole the artifact" Fil shouts and point up. "what is it doing?"
The Gumon tries to flip a switch but it seems to be busted, but with enough force the Gumon flipped the switch but also gave it quite some recoil backwards destroying the pillars and a huge boulder crushes his hands. After the switch was flipped rocks stared to rain down
"we have to get up there!" Sein shouts as she tries to get up but doesn't dare to take a step forward as the rocks are falling down at a high speed, but there was one spirit that couldn't bear the suffering of other creatures.
With quick decision making Ori rushes forward and decides to use the rocks as a stepping stone and with the rate they are falling a creature should be able to reach the top.
"Ori!" Fil shouts and tries to stop him, but he was too late and Ori already started the process trying to get to the top. "what is he doing?" The three keep looking at Ori's movement and how precise and careful he was with his movements and not long later Ori made it to the top almost unharmed.
"h-hey there" Ori brushes off some dust of himself and with the left over strength he freed the Gumon's hands being crushed by the boulder "there you go *huff*" Ori say exhausted and sit down on the ground. The gumon after feeling kindness after all the days of darkness and suffering hands Ori the Water vein and with Joy he leaves. "heh... thanks"
...
"Ori? what happened?!" Sein rushes over she quickly inspect his wound. "nothing much, except we got this now" Ori holds out the Water vein smiling. "omg! good job!" Sein give Ori a bear hug "eh?" Leru in the distance smirking Fil just looks a Leru and then to them and then back to Leru and then back to them. Sein then nonchalantly remembered Leru's words and quickly releases Ori turning a little bit red.
"One word Leru and I will send you all the way to mount Horu" Sein threatens, but Leru's smirk keeps growing. "OK, let's go back to the Ginso tree and forget what happened?" Fil tries to break up Sein and Leru. "wait... do we have to walk all the way back?" Ori asks and Fil nods. "you've got to be kidding right?" but Fil shakes his head no and Ori just gave a very deep sigh.
And the four continue their path toward the Ginso tree.

Well well well... I finally finished another chapter! after all these months!... *sigh* sorry for not updating in so long. I finished my exams I passed now I have to go to collage which is even more work and also... It's just getting busier every month, that's all I can say and in summer vacation I just had no will power to write anything. I just wanted to clear my mind of of everything and hoping not to worry about anything including school/collage. But now I'm back! I guess... well, I hope I'll be able to update more and uh... have a nice day :)
