Episode 5
Pollution
Realizing that since their trip to Tokyo is coming to an end; Kenji makes one final contact with Emma.
"Emma I'm sorry that I can't protect Tokyo anymore, but my class trip to Japan has come to an end." Kenji tells her.
"That's okay it turns out the Mikki has signed me up to join you on the trip back; it seems we are going to be classmates." Emma replies smiling on the other end of the video.
"Really that is great, well I'll see you on the boat, and it lands in New York. Who know I might introduce you to my little brother Nick, and another friend of mine Cole." Kenji replies.
"That would be great, but we had better head over towards the boat. I'll see you there." Emma replies. Smiling nervously.
After she hangs up, and is about to leave the headquarters Mikki looks at her with a knowing look in her eye.
"So, did I see that right, or do you think there might be more than just going to studying in New York?" Mikki asks with a smile on her lips startling Emma.
Emma bows before replying "I'm sorry mistress Mikki I didn't know you saw everything."
"It's okay, I just saw the way you were talking to Kenji on the video phone, and it makes me wonder something." Mikki says teasingly.
"What do you mean?" Emma asks nervously.
"What I mean is I get the feeling you are developing feelings for our leader." Mikki says smiling at her student.
"What no! I don't think so, I mean we are just friends, team mates!" Emma replies still smiling nervously.
"Look it is okay to date him; just be sure you want to be with him. Also make sure if he is the right one for you. Also, I figured I better come with you, and we can always teleport back to here, and do our team business here." Mikki explains as she starts to help Emma pack.
At the boat as he is walking up the gangplank; Kenji begins to look for Emma. Having not scene her yet; Kenji continues up the gangplank a little distraught.
"What's the matter Kenji? You seem a little down more than usual." Ethan asks.
"Oh, just wondering where Emma is. She said she would be joining us, and come back to New York with us." Kenji replies.
"Well maybe she changed her mind." Ethan replies.
"Don't bet your life on it!" someone shouts from behind them.
Kenji turns to where the sound came from, and sees Emma running towards him. The two hug, but break apart; feeling a little embarrassed.
"So, the little moth is deciding to come join us?" Trent says jokingly.
"Don't call me that, and yes we have decided to join you guys." Emma replies a little irritated.
"Who's we?" Kenji asks.
"That would be me; I'm going to be your new biology teacher. Don't expect me to go easy on any of you since I know what you can do; school, and work will come first." Mikk answers.
"That is great." Trent replies jokingly.
"Plus, I can keep an eye on you guys a whole lot better now." Mikki says as she begins to make her way towards the boat.
Meanwhile on the crystal moon base Xenilla begins to look at his gem collection.
"So, those Kaiju knights plan on heading back to New York huh? Well that would be perfect for the monster I have in mind." Xenilla says smiling as he grabs a grey gem.
"Master you can't possibly mean who I think you mean?" Gigan asks nearly begging.
"You are right of course Gigan; who better to attack one of the most polluted cities in the world then the one who is made of garbage!" Xenilla says as he holds up the grey gem that has glowing red eyes.
"But, with him; there will be no world to conquer!" Ghidorah says.
"Silence you two! This gem will make it all the easier to get the gems." Xenilla yells at Ghidorah, and Gigan.
Having landed in New York; Kenji, and the rest of the school group begin to make their way off the boat. As Kenji is getting off; he sees someone running right towards him. It is his little adopted brother Nick.
"Nick, oh man it is really good to see my little bro." Kenji says as he hugs his little brother.
Nick who looks a little bit shorter than Kenji, and has slick black hair.
"Hey, bro how was your trip; did you encounter any of the kaiju that were out there?" Nick asks.
"Well, that might need some explaining to do." Kenji replies as suddenly a dark cloud begins to cover the city.
"What the? I thought the forecast was calling for clear skies?" Trent says as he looks up seeing the cloud.
"What in the world is that smell?" Cole says holding his nose.
That is when they see what the cloud actually is; a giant monster that looks to be entirely made from pollution.
"I think I know that one, and if it is the one, I think it is. Then we need to seek shelter now!" Mikki says as she starts to usher the students into the shelter.
The cloud begins to emit a cackling sound as it begins to fly over the city. When they get inside Ethan begins to feel a little unrest.
"I think we need to get out there, and take care of this monster!" Ethan exclaims.
"I second that, and that just ain't Rodan talking!" Trent replies.
"What is best is if we all stay here, cause there isn't a way to deal with this monster." Mikki says.
"How do you know that?!" Trent says angrily.
"Because this monster is known as Hedorah; the garbage monster. Even Godzilla himself had a tough time dealing with him. He nearly got killed when the monster tried to cover him in his filth." Mikki explains.
"He is that bad. I bet I could take him." Trents says just as he turns into his Rodan form, and flies up to meet Hedorah.
"Trent that is not a good idea!" Emma says trying to stop him from flying up there, but it is already too late.
Rodan knight flies right up towards Hedorah, and compared to Hedorah Rodan knight looks like a fly. Determined to stop this flying garbage; Rodan knight begins to dive bomb the monster. It is then he learning why he is known as the smog monster; as he begins to get a big whiff of the smog this monster produces. Feeling a little ill, but also determined; Trent begins to use his uranium heat beam on the smog monster. Hedorah seems unphased by the heat beam, and is actually absorbing it.
Seeing that nothing is damaging Hedorah; Rodan knight heads towards the smog monster's face right in from of the eyes. Hedorah begins to glare at Rodan knight; like he is some sort of pest.
"Well, since my flying attacks don't seem to be working; then maybe a full-blown charge will work!" Rodan knight yells as he begins to charge towards Hedorah.
Hedorah still seeing him as a mere fly; fires his crimson beam at Rodan knight. Rodan knight cries out in pain as the beam hits him, and falls to the ground. When the rest of the team find him; they discover that he is covered in black oil like lumps. Trent moans as they try to help him up.
"That was really stupid of you! Didn't you know just how powerful that monster it?!" Emma yells at him.
"Please stop yelling! I thought I could take him on." Trent replies feeling a little bit weak.
"Well, you let your pride get the best of you, and now you are going to pay for it. I'm teleporting you, and Emma to the medical bay." Mikki says as she activates the monster island teleporter.
While the sludge monster is still over the city; causing massive hysteria. The group manages to find a nearby shelter; all except for Cole. Cole has made his way to the subway, but doesn't know that he is being followed. Following him Kenji manages to keep up with him; as he wonders why he didn't go with them to the shelter. He finally sees where Cole has been hiding, and it is a little shelter under in a little corner of the subway.
It looks like he even could have been living there; when Cole hears a crunch behind him. Startled, Cole turns the flashlight on Kenji; which causes Kenji to squint.
"Kenji?! What on earth are you doing here?" Cole asks feeling started.
"I could ask you the same thing; I mean aren't you supposed to be at the shelter with the rest of us?" Kenji asks.
"I know I'm supposed to be there, but I had to make sure that she was okay" Cole explains as he shines the like on the picture frame of a woman. "She was my mom; she got killed in a subway accident around 5yrs ago. I sometimes come down here to visit her."
"Cole, I know how you feel, cause I lost someone a long time ago. My grandpa, and I" Kenji replies; when he notices something on the picture frame. Kenji notices what looks like a purple gem with a monster inside. "Cole where did you get this?" Kenji asks holding up the gem, and necklace.
"That was something my mom gave me when she came back from her trip to Japan, just days before the accident. She said one day I would need it." Cole replies.
"Well I think she might have been right. Cause if this is a gem that I'm thinking it is; then you could be the next Kaiju-Knight."
"How in the world would you know about the Kaiju-knights? You don't even know them" Cole says as he takes the necklace back.
"Oh, really, and how do you know I don't know them?" Kenji replies as he pulls out his Godzilla gem.
Cole grabs the gem, so he could see it. He examines, and sees the image of Godzilla in the gem, and then he looks at his own gem, and sees another monster inside of it. Then he looks at Kenji in shock.
"Wait, you're?" Cole says a little shocked.
"Yep, I'm Kaiju-Knight Godzilla; leader of the team, and with that gem you have you could stop this monster." Kenji explains as he attaches the gem to his wrist band, and it activates turning him into the Kaiju-knight Godzilla. "Now you have to try to tame the monster that is inside of your gem"
Seeing this; Cole manages to put the necklace on. That is when he feels like he is in a trance; in the brain Cole finds himself alone in the gem.
"Hello is there anyone here?" Cole asks.
A growl is heard as something approaches him from the fog. Cole then sees Baragon coming out of the fog, and looks to him excited to see him.
"I know who you are Cole, and I'm proud to have you as the next Baragon knight." Baragon says telepathically.
"How do you know me?" Cole ask.
"I met your mother, and she use to be my keeper before she passed away. I'm very sorry to hear that; as she was a dear friend to me. She would always talk to me whenever the need me, before she passed away, she wanted me to protect you when the time comes, and it appears that time has come." Baragon says as he starts to merge with him. "You, and I we can work together to stop Hedorah!"
After Cole gets out of the trance; he sees that he has reddish purplish armor on him. On the top of his head, he feels the large purple ears that Baragon had, and where his forehead is Cole feels a horn. He then stares at his own hands, and see that they now have yellow long claws. Cole stares at Kenji in amazement at what just happened.
"Ready for battle?" Kenji asks as he is already in the Godzilla knight form.
"Yes, but we have got to get Hedorah away from the city, or else it could kill everyone" Cole replies just as Hedorah is flying over.
"But first we need a plan to get him away from the city" Godzilla knight says.
"I think I have a plan" Baragon knight replies. "But it might need more than just us"
A little while later having recover from his fight; Rodan manages to fly towards Hedorah. This time he manages to hit him square in the face with radium beam; Hedorah growls in anger at this. Down on the ground; Godzilla lets out a loud roar to show Hedorah that he is ready to fight. Seeing this Hedorah changes from his flying mode to his fighting mode; when he lands Hedorah realizes that the ground beneath him is unstable for him. Soon the ground underneath Hedorah gives way; leading Hedorah trapped in a large pit. Seeing that their opponent might be trapped; the monsters revert back to their knight form, and look at the amazement of the hole that Baragon created.
"Fools you think you have trapped me in here; do you know who I am?!" Hedorah says as he rises out of the pit to become the knight version of Hedorah that looks like a combination of garbage mixed with human. "I am Hedorah the monster of pollution, and this world will be our wasteland"
Seeing this Godzilla, and Rodan look at each other as they know what to do. Rodan flies up with Godzilla, but that is when using the eye sword Hedorah manages to knock the two out of the air.
"With those two gone; it is time to get back to destroying this planet." Hedorah says as he heads back towards the city. Suddenly he feels the ground beginning to shake underneath him. "What the? Nooo! Not again" as he falls down into the underground.
"You forgot about little old me, and I'm not to underestimated" Baragon says as he blasts Hedorah with fire; that burns Hedorah badly.
"Arggggh! That fire it burns really bad." Hedorah replies clutching his arm, and dropping the sword.
"Oh, does it?! Guess that makes you burnable" Baragon replies as he continues to blast him.
Hedorah yells in agony, and once again the ground opens up beneath him. Hedorah looks down as he is falling to see that this hole leads to an active lava tube. Seeing this Hedorah grips the edge of the hole.
"Please don't let me fall!" Hedorah pleads.
"See that is the problem you messed with my friends" Baragon replies as he stomps on one of Hedorah's hands that causes Hedorah to lose one grip on the hole. "Also, one other thing you messed with my city!" Baragon says stomping on the other hand; causing Baragon to fall into the hole into the lava burning Hedorah to nothing.
Seeing that the danger is now over Baragon heads up to see that Godzilla, and Rodan are okay.
Meanwhile on the moon base; Xenilla is in a rage.
"How could we lose our ultimate weapon!" Xenilla yells as he tosses some of the gems at Gigan, and Ghidorah. "That was our one hope of defeating those earth defenders!"
"Master are you sure that is the only ultimate; I mean there is one other way" Ghidorah says trying to please his master
Suddenly the globe lights up revealing the location of new gem. Eagerly Xenilla goes to see where it is, and recognizes the symbol. The symbol is that of a turtle shell; seeing this Xenilla gives an evil grin.
