9. Cancellation

Hey, Agent of LIGHT here. Since it's been a while, I'll just go straight to the point...

Total Drama Alternate is done. Over. Kaput. Axed. Finito.

It's been two whole years since the last chapter I posted. If you're all wondering why I stopped posting chapters, well, there's a myriad of reasons, mainly, that I've lost all inspiration and interest in continuing this story. Also, the COVID situation made me go through some bumps in the road with the whole quarantine thing.

Most of all, however, I'm focusing on finding a career online, and I'm currently taking up co-working so I can do my job hunting more easily. Another thing to take into account is that I decided to cancel this story in favor of others I have planned, like a new version of Polter Hills, which I'm going to publish in 2022, or earlier this year.

To everyone who liked Alternate, I'm sorry if I let you down. I just don't have the passion for this particular story anymore. Looking back, this story was mostly just Total Drama with characters from all three generations. Now that I think about it, it would've been hard since I had to juggle around 50 characters, and that would've put a strain on my sanity. Polter Hills, on the other hand, relies on less characters and it allows me to have more creative freedom, while in Alternate I just copied what happened in canon because I was being lazy.

Sorry it has to end this way, but it has to be done. Anyway, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
