Enjoy! And Merry X-mas!

"Whoa." Adrien trailed off in awe, unsure of his feeling towards the whole story Alya had just told him. Then, her words sank in, and he had a completely different dilemma.

"Wait, what if... What if Marinette also moves to the US and finds a hot guy? Then I'll be left all alone! Then we'll never get the house, or the three kids, or the dog, no. Cat, no. HAMSTER! Yes, Hamster named-"

"Chill out! Sunshine. Nothing's gonna happen." Alya laughed, thinking how similar Adrien sounded to Marinette. "We can't really expose her, if you know what I mean. If she has done this before, I'm sure she's pretty familiar with every situation we can possibly put her through, so she'll just find a way around it!"

"So. . ." Adrien trailed off, confused at where Alya was heading to.

"If you remember, I only figured out that Lila was lying because she couldn't shut up about herself, which made each little lie she told, a bit suspicious by every passing day. In fact, It was the same with Dahlia. So what if, we give Lila a golden opportunity handed on a silver platter?"

Adrien's eyes lit up. "Of course!"

"Exactly Sunshine! You're not as blunt as I thought you to be." Alya chuckled, shooting a teasing smirk his way. She grew quite after a moment. "There is one problem though. You can't tell Mari about this, you know how great her acting skills are. And you have to break up with her, only to make this work."

"I can't do that!" Adrien exclaimed.

Alya narrowed her eyes. "I'm glad that you can't hurt Marinette. But you have to. It's either this, or you let her face Lila's constant bullying. And you know. . . last time somewhat got bullied, they move-"

"OKAY!" Adrien raised his hands up in defeat, ignoring the defiant grin Alya sent him. "I'll do it."

MLB

Adrien. . . in fact did tell Marinette what was up. He didn't have a choice! All that was playing in his head was the moment Mari's beautiful, big, bluebell eyes would well up with tears, as they would roll down her adorably freckled cheeks. And as her lips that he'd kissed a million times would be drawn into a cute pout that he wouldn-"

He had it bad.

. . . . Which was exactly the reason he had to tell her!

"So you're saying that you are going to break up with me, but not really."

"In a way. Yes." He replied. "We only need to fool Lila in order for her to think that we broke up. When we didn't really because we're Ladybug and Chat Noir."

Marinette nodded along. "I can't wait for school," she smirked.

"Why."

"Didn't you forget? It's Alix's skating competition tomorrow!"

'Uh oh. Marinette was definitely up to something.' He thought.
