Jedi in Remnant

What if the Jedi council knew of Remnant? What if they used it as a witness protection type place for wayward Jedi? What if the council actually saw what was in front of their eyes the whole time? Would our hero's choose a life were they can be happy and at peace or will they choose to continue on the story we know? Starting after the trial of Ahsoka Tano.

When Ahsoka Tano is brought before the Jedi Council following her trial she was confused she had been stripped of her rank and sent out of the order so why did they wish to talk to her? When she gets there she is pleased to see the familiar face of Anakain Skywalker the man who taught her everything she knows and someone she would be honored to call a friend if not a brother. When they walk in the full council has been called and all are physically present something has not happened in many years.

Master Windu "Ahsoka first and foremost on behalf of the entire Order I would like to apologize for our rush to judgment it was wrong and I wish I could say it will never happen again but I can not."

Ahsoka "Thank you Master's for your apology."

Windu "We have decided to offer you a choice one I hope you consider before deciding. The choice is thus because of your prowess on the field of battle and the crucible you went through with the trial if you so accept you would be accepted into the order as a jedi knight. We also have a few other choices if you do not wish to rejoin the order for those I would ask that Anakin step out as they are secrets not even every Jedi Master knows."

Anakin upon hearing that is stunned secrets even the masters don't all know what kind of information is this. He reluctantly agrees though and leaves and waits in the corridor.

Windu "Ahsoka if you choose not to continue on as a Jedi you have three options available for you all of them good options, all of them chosen by many a former jedi. They are as follows you can leave the order and live your life as you see fit, you can leave the order and join the service core and continue to serve the galaxy as a whole or you can leave this galaxy and go to a place called Remnant and start your life anew without any interference from anyone from the galaxy at large."

Ahsoka "What exactly is this Remnant place and why have I never heard of it?"

Windu "It's the reason I asked Anakin to leave. It's a secret of the Jedi order not many have ever used. From the records we have only a handful have ever been and we have never received anyone from them. Its a planet that has no space travel no force sensitive. It's inhabited by 2 different races of Humans one called Faunus that have animal characteristics and the other without, Also on this planet is a race of creature called Grimm they are creatures without a soul and they attack the populus and feed on dark side emotions. If you go you will be offered the chance to become a hunter of these creatures you do not have to accept you can live simply and happily with no more violence in your life."

Ahsoka "That sounds wonderful. I will accept this offer and go to Remnant. Might I suggest you ask Anakin if he would be interested in such an arrangement as well. He is dealing with dangerous emotions right now especially surrounding his family."

Yoda "Senator Amidala refer to you do."

Ahsoka "Yes he believes myself and Master Kenobi are blind to this but based off your response the council knows. Why then do you allow him to continue to serve as a Jedi?"

Windu "We became aware recently. We were going to offer him a chance to leave with a full pension at the conclusion of the war or the birth of his children whatever happened first."

Ahsoka "That would make sense, the public at large see him as more than simply just another Jedi and would question if the order simply dismissed him."

Windu "Do some thinking on your choice and send Anakin in."

Ahsoka bows and leaves and sends Anakin back in to see the council.

Windu "Thank you for rejoining us. We have a few things we want to discuss with you."

Anakin "I'm happy to rejoin this council"
Windu "I want to on behalf of the council thank you on your marriage. We found out shortly before the bombing of the temple and have had a others things to worry about and as such we have decided to offer you a few choices. You do not have to make them today as I am sure you will wish to discuss them with Padme."

Anakin shocked by them knowing but also there response "I would appreciate the time yes. I am glad you are not simply throwing me out, that was my initial fear. I was going to after the war tell you and leave the order."

Windu "That is a very mature stance. The options are as follows you can do as you just proposed or you and Padme and your children can go a place safe from all that ails the universe. That place is called Remnant it is a world filled with creatures who feed on dark side emotions and are fought by people trained specifically for the task called Huntsman. You would of course have the option of being one of these hunters or living a simple life were you could live your life raise your children and be free from any worry about Padme dying at least not for a long time as we all must die eventually. This would circumvent your vision as neither of you would be here for the force to interfere. This world you would be going to the force does not exist there in the people but from what we have gathered the Jedi who have gone before you have retained their force powers and gained some new power we are unfamiliar with."

Anakin thinks this sounds to good to be true. "This is the secret you sent me out of the room for. You offered this to Ahsoka as well… I will have to discuss this with Padme and Ahsoka. We would be allowed our lightsabers correct?"

Windu "Yes we did offer this to her as well. Yes this was the secret that not everyone knows. As we said take your time and decide you have a week off from any missions while you think on this. We must ask that you do not discuss this with anyone outside of your wife, Ahsoka and this council. If this world was to be discovered by malevolent forces I don't even want to think of the consequences."

With that Anakin bows and leaves the council chambers to find Ahsoka waiting for him. He smiles at her and asks her to come join him and his wife for dinner. When he shows up Padme is at first surprised to see Ahsoka with him but after Anakin explains the council and Ahsoka know and he hasn't been thrown out of the order she breathes easier. They all sit down and eat and enjoy each others company Ahsoka learning more about Padme and vice versa.

After dinner they move to the living room and begin to discuss the opportunity the council gave them. Padme amazed at such a place existing outside of senate control. They all decide together that a fresh start is just what they need. A way to escape this war and not have their kids grow up in the spotlight and a way for Ahsoka to live a life without the former Jedi hanging over her head.

With that all settled Anakin for the first time in a long time. When he wakes up that next morning he feels a peace he has not felt since before the clone wars started. All three go before the Jedi Council later that day to discuss the logistics of a move to Remnant. The council suggests a public retirement for Padme and a Jedi escort consisting of Anakin and Ahsoka to escort her into retirement on a planet of her choosing away from the public eye. They get this all set up over the following day and contact Hondo to blast a ship from the sky without boarding. Normally they wouldn't trust a pirate but considering they will be sending a few other escort ships that he can "rob" he is amenable.

Padme makes her public speech and at the end of the senate day she along with Anakin and Ahsoka head to the Jedi temple were they are presented gifts to help them in this new world.

Windu "Many lifetimes ago before Revan before the Mandalorian wars before any of that we made an agreement with Mandalore to equip those that would leave to Remnant. They would provide armor and weapons and we would provide transport. Over the years we have sent a few Mandalorians through as well as Jedi but no one for several hundred years. That said Mandalore always has supplies set aside for this trip and when we contacted them about 3 people making the journey they fulfilled their end of the bargain. We present to you full Mandalorian Beskar and weaponry as well as new lightsabers for Anakin and Ahsoka. Please try it on and make sure it fits."

They all are stunned by this knowing how much Mandalorians hate the Jedi and vice versa but who are they to turn down a priceless gift such as this. They begin to don the armor and it is blank representing a new life and new journeys. Padme's looks like Bo Katans armor, Ahsoka's looks more like Sabine Wren's armor only it has a place to put her montrails on top of the helmet Anakins looks like Jango fets. Once they don the armor and find it fits well they are given instructions on the new armor and its weapons systems. They are told to keep it on for the journey as it will make it easier. They are told that once through they are to go to Beacon academy and talk to the headmaster who will set them up with their new lives.

They nod their heads in agreement and the portal is summoned requiring the entire council to be of agreement that these people should pass to Remnant. They grab hands and walk through together. With that the whole galaxy changes Palpatine feels a disturbance in the force as he suddenly looses Anakin's force signature. With him gone he has to rethink his entire plan for the clone wars and his apprentice. This is not that story though. The jedi council would take the secret of Remnant to their graves and when Mandalore is sacked there is no mention of Remnant to be found nor any record of any deals with the Jedi or Senator Amidala.
