Jedi in remnant 2

When we last left our intrepid trio they had just walked through a portal into an unknown world covered in Mandalorian armor and weaponry as well as a full arsenal of Jedi weaponry.

Once they enter the portal everything seems to shift around them, kind of reminiscent of when Ahsoka and Anakin went to Mortis. Ahsoka feels a tingling all over her and a presence ask her a simple question "do you wish to truly be seen as Anakin's sister? This world you are going to does not have aliens and so you must change but that change is yours to decide. Your master has always viewed you as a sister and you him as a brother. We can make that happen if you so wish."

She without really thinking about it agrees and that tingling feeling intensifies as she feels herself changing. When it stops they find themselves on the other side of the portal. They find themselves in front of a school. At first they are confused until they remember the council telling them they needed to find a man wielding a cane and that he likely would be a teacher at a school. As they approach the school they find themselves confronted by several people who all pull out strange weapons.

"Who are you and what is your business here at beacon?"

Anakin replies "My name is Anakin Skywalker this is my wife Padme and my sister Ahsoka Tano, we are here to seek the man wielding the cane. Who are you people?"

"We are staff at this school as well as Huntsman. This man you speak of do you have a name? Please remove your helmets so we can see your faces."

They remove their helmets. "We do not have a name for this man only a picture of his weapon. We were told he knows of an ancient agreement between the people here and my people. We were promised a new life here." Anakin then pulls out his data pad and pulls up the picture of Ozpins cane.

A new face joins the crowd "Stand down please we don't want any bloodshed here if we can help it. Please join me in my office there is much to discuss"

The staff stand down. Anakin begins to believe this man has authority over these teachers perhaps he is the grandmaster? When they are invited up to the office they look at each other and nod before following. Once they reach the office they are offered a seat. Once everyone is comfortable Ozpin begins "My name is Ozpin I am the headmaster of this school. You are either Jedi or Mandalorians or a mix of both. We have not had any of your kind in a very long time. Welcome to Remnant. I am sorry for your welcome we rarely get people as well armored and armed as you three."

"It's to be expected I suppose. Its far from the worst reception we have had. I assume that your predecessor told you about us. Myself and Ahsoka are Jedi while Padme is my wife. We left a war to come here. I can't speak for the rest but I am tired of fighting I just wish to settle down with my wife and raise our children." Anakin explains

Ozpin nods his head "Two Jedi and a married one at that. That is certainly different. It wasn't my predecessor that made the deal with your two tribes but rather myself. Things operate differently in this dimension. I was cursed by the God's to reincarnate until I kill my wife. We had a major falling out a long time ago she wished to operate much like your Sith where as I chose to allow people to rule themselves and only intervene if necessary much like your order was set up to be. I have learned from those that came before that the Jedi have began to get more involved in politics this is most unfortunate. They should never be involved with politics it only begins trouble and forces compromise on values for temporary benefits."

Padme looks stunned at this "So you don't believe politics can solve anything?"

Ozpin shakes his head "No politics is necessary but the Jedi much like the Huntsman I train here are supposed to be for everyone not just those who have political favor and sometimes being for the people means being against the politicians. I am sure you can understand that coming from a war."

Ahsoka sighs "I certainly can."

Anakin and Padme nod "So what can you tell us about this world besides you and your wife having an epic argument." Anakin asks with a smile.

Ozpin laughs at that "Well the world is inhabited by three types of sentients Humans, Faunus and Grimm. Grimm are monsters bent on destruction of humanity and chaos. They have no soul and are bent on destroying everything my wife Salem she controls them and makes them. She lives in the grimm lands and as far as we are aware is the only one living there. Faunus are Humans with Animal features this might be antlers or cat ears a tail ect. Basically they are normal Humans otherwise, this additional feature does give them distinct advantages in some areas of course and disadvantages in others. They are typically discriminated against because people are terrible and don't like people who look different. Then you have normal humans, this is the dominant species race whatever. The world is divided into four kingdoms and a place that could become one in the coming years. Each kingdom has its own government and Huntsman academy. These academies are where people come to learn to fight the Grimm the goal is to have enough to have secure borders and possibly expand."

Anakin always the tactitian asks "You mentioned you will be reincarnated until you kill your wife. Is there a plan to do that or are you waiting for her to die?"

Ozpin shakes his head "Over the years I have had many plans all have failed Mandalorians Jedi Huntsman armies all have failed. I currently am working on uniting humanity so that I can unite these four relics and bring the God's back and they can kill her as promised. I have been doing this to long and watched to many people die in failed missions to commit any more to killing her. Currently I am simply stopping her from advancing."

Anakin nods "That makes sense. Against an enemy who you can't defeat sometimes the best course is to simply stop the advance. We where told you could give us identities and money as well as a place to live."

Ozpin nods "Yes of course here are three scrolls simply put your name in and the rest will fill itself out. Not all of your predecessors had descendants and so they left me their assets to keep and grow for the next group to come. I will give you access to the account I just ask that you leave at least half of the money in there so it can grow and be ready for whoever is next."

They take their devices and Padme responds "Thank you. We certainly will make sure of that. As far as jobs go…."

"Of course. You will find you all have been granted Huntsman licenses meaning you can make money that way but if you wish for a quite life might I suggest Patch. It's a small island close to here that recently lost its protector Huntress. It's an easy job minimal Grimm and all small but it pays well and would allow you to live a life away from prying eyes. I just recently had a friend and his wife settle there to start their family neither is willing to stop going on missions or I would have offered them the job."

They all look around before Anakin responds "That sounds lovely we will take it."

With all of that settled they are transported over to Patch to meet the village leaders as well as the headmaster of Signal Academy. Once they are introduced and given their expectations they are shown to the house they will be given. Its a wonderful two story wooden structure that looks simply like it was pulled from a painting. (Think Tai's house)

Once they get inside they take off their armor and weaponry glad to be free of it but still thrilled to have it. They head into the market to get food and necessities. They get some strange looks as Ahsoka still has her Montrails on refusing to change her culture regardless of the dimension. Once they get everything they need they head home ready to begin their new lives.

AJIR

Thirteen years later Padme has had Luke and Leia Ahsoka takes occasional missions off the island while teaching at Signal academy. Padme is a happy mother and has taken to teaching at Signal as well she teaches a politics course mostly focused on negotiations, Anakin is the protector of the island loved by all as is his whole family, he spends his time at home with the children and his wife. Recently though he has gotten restless he hasn't had a good fight in awhile. While his friends on the island are good people most of them are not fighters the exception is of course Tai. His eldest is the same age as the twins and they became fast friends this of course ment Tai and Anakin did as well. Tai was a sad story but his daughters are wonderful young ladies. When he mentioned his restlessness to Tai he suggested tournament fighting knowing Anakin didn't want to do anything to dangerous. This sounded fun to Anakin and so he entered the Mistral tournament.

He made sure Tai would cover for him while he and his family went on vacation to watch him compete before leaving for the tournament. This would be the first time in 10 years he will wear his full beskar armor. Its also the first time his kids will see him fight with his lightsaber, granted it will be set to training mode but still. He is clearly a bit rusty as he wins the first few rounds after taking far to long to do it. He is now in the finals and he is matched up against a child no more than 13. She is the defending champion known as the invincible girl having never been even close to being hurt by an opponent.

The fight begins and he can instantly tell why, she has control over polarity. He smiles this should be rather fun. As she charges him with her sword he deftly deflets it away and begins shifting into Djem. This is a style she has never fought against before as it makes little sense with a sword. As such she has trouble figuring out were he is striking and how to block or use her semblance to move his laser sword away. Because his sword is not metal her power has no effect even the handle she finds she can't manipulate. Eventually he looks to the stands and sees her parents and that angry look on their faces not directed at him but rather at her he knows he had best loose. So he does he allows her to begin to make solid contact with him and wills his aura to slip into the red thus loosing. After the match is over he whispers to her "come see me in the locker room if you don't want to continue to be someones puppet."

Once in the locker room seeing as no one but fighters are allowed in not even family it's a safe space. She walks over to him 'Thanks for loosing and making it look good you saved me a ton of trouble. What did you mean I could stop being someone's puppet?"

Anakin smiles "Your welcome. I mean I saw the look on your parents faces. You don't really want to do these tournaments do you? Your parents do because your semblance allows you to be really good at them and there is money and fame to go with them."

Pyrah nods "Yeah I don't enjoy them yeah the combat is fun but I would rather be training to be a huntress than doing these stupid tournaments. No offense you seemed to have a good time. They certainly like the money and fame. The way you talked sounded like you had a solution."

Anakin shakes his head "Huntress huh You know my wife and sister teach at Signal academy over on Patch. These tournaments are stupid for allowing children to participate. The only reason I did this one and might do more in the future is there are very few I can have a good fight with on Patch so I decided this would be a fun way to retrain my skills before I started training my kids. I have a few options but really it's up to you. The easiest one would be for you to slip out the side door there find my sister you can't miss her she has the awesome headgear and come home with us we get you enrolled in signal and a few years later in Beacon. The not so easy solution is you stand up to your parents and refuse to do any more tournaments."

Pyrah sighs "Those are really my best options aren't they. If I stand up to my parents nothing good will come for it only pain until I do what they say. Sister has awesome headgear you say?"

Anakin scowls "Yeah and don't worry you will have a new life and they won't ever be able to hurt you again."

With that settled she slips out the side door and all but bumps into Ahsoka. She sees what Anakin meant by awesome head gear. "You must be Anakin's sister. He said to come find you I am going to Patch to start a new life with you guys."

Ahsoka smiles at hearing herself called Anakin's sister even after all this time it still make her smile "I am indeed. My name is Ahsoka Tano, your parents must have really messed up for Anakin to intervene. Don't worry you'll be safe with us. Let me go introduce you to the kids and explain the situation to Padme. We can head out immediately."

Pyrah smiles as that sounds wonderful. She follows not sure why no one seems to notice them but not willing to question it.
