They were almost to the school and still no Potter. Laying her head in Draco's lap she continued to read.
"now this year our princess must be constantly protected. If Potter wishes peace, then so be it but Weasley is not to be near her understood"
Crab and golye nodded only to look to Perkinson in question who eyeing Draco's hand was.
"if she causes trouble go to snape"
The train suddenly came to a stop. Thanks to Draco's seeker reflexes she was caught before landing on the floor. The lights went out and a few students screamed. No one moved and Draco's arm tightened around her waist that held her close to him.
"there someone out there"
Draco moved her behind him as he stood between Hermione and the door with his wand raised and ready. Her cloak few to her wrapping her tight in its folds and even expanded to Draco. Ember flew into the room and burned bright to were there was no shadow in the entire compartment. Everyone knew this was bad but when the dementor walked in no one dared breath. A wisp of a white wolf chased the dementor away and everyone breathed again.
"it had to be looking for black. My princess are you alright?"
"yes, my prince, look the cloak expanded to protect you Draco"
"did you know it could do that?"
"no"
Within seconds the train was moving again, and professor Lupin pasted. Draco finally stood down seeing the elder man and brought Hermione to sit beside him. The rest was uneventful as they reached the castle. Professor Snape was there to greet her as soon as she steps out of the carriage.
"are you alright?"
"yes farther"
"good I will be teaching you the Patronus charm latter you as well Draco."
"yes sir"
"good now go the feast will start soon"
Hand in hand they marched into the school knowing this year will be one to truly remember.
