The next day harry was still in the infirmary so there meeting would be pushed back yet again. To their surprise her grandfather stayed to help teach them the Patronus charm by the lake.
"now do not be disappointed if you do not produce the Patronus on the first try. There are fully grown witches and wizards who cannot perform this spell. Now the indication is ex-PEK-toh pa-TRO-num. this produces a corporeal or incorporeal positive energy that can be used against Dementors. Now to produce this one must focus on the happiest you have ever been but threw personal experience love works as well."

"yes, now corporals ones will take the form of an animal that you have a deep connection to. No one know what their animal will be until they cast the charm. Now that animal can change as the witch or wizard changes as well."
"for now, both of you will go a meditate focus on your best and happy moments."
Her father directed them to the bench close to the shore as they made wagers when Dumbledore showed up. At first, she thought of her childhood but now all that was there was pain and sorrow. Quickly she moved on to her summer with her father, the letters she would receive from her grandfather and her teatime with her uncle. She would even think of Professor McGonagall and there by weekly meetings where she was preparing her and Draco on becoming Animagus with their parents' permission of course. Then Draco came to her mind. There are study sessions, there shared quite laughs about the Weasley twins' pranks and their shared love. with out thinking both Draco and Hermione cast their patrons and low and behold there were two corporal foxes.
"ha pays up albus I told you they would on the first try"

The foxes laid beside each other with the male laying his head protectively over the female. Her father looked at the pair in pride as Professor lupin and McGonagle approached.
"oh, a pair of foxes perfect for the two of you I believe."
"of this will make you Animagus training much easier. Most of the time the two animals are the same."
"truly professor!"
"oh yes now I do believe Mr. potter is looking for you both."
"very well run along children we will see you at supper, Gerallt your staying correct?"
"yes, professor lupin has asked me to speak in his classes for the week"
The pair left to leave to adults to discuss there plans. Together they ran with there foxes beside them. It was not long until they found harry arguing with Ron.
"Ron just let it be! That's not what happen I saw Grindelwald drive the dementor away from me. Ron his Patronus was a thestral or at least that's what Dumbledore said."
"he nocked you off your broom!"
"blood hell Ron no he didn't he saved me from being kisses. Look just leave it alone I have to go find Hermione and Draco."
"WHAT!"
"just go already."
Harry stormed off leaving Ron alone who looked ready to throw hexes at everyone. The pair went after harry avoiding Ron's sight. Soon they found him talking with Longbottom who saw them and there Patronus.
"bloody hell you can do the Patronus charm?"
"yes, we just learned it from Hermione's grandfather."
"wow, well come on let's go somewhere quite for these"
The four when in agreement on finding a quiet place to talk with the hopes of peace and a family renewed.
