Prompt: Spider-Man and Lightning McQueen body swap
A bright red race car careened into the little corner bodega. Car accidents weren't out of the ordinary in Queens, but this one was. The car didn't crash at street level. It fell from the sky.
At the same time, a teenage boy appeared in the middle of the adjacent street. He narrowly avoided being run over.
"What the fuck?" The expletive came, not form the boy, but from the car. The boy shouted, "I am speed," and attempted to catch up to the car that had nearly flattened him. Hordes of frightened people fled the crumbling bodega, begging the boy for help.
"Please, Mr. Delmar is still trapped! You have to help him!"
The boy only stared down at his own body in shock. He could actually see it, was the most shocking part. And not just in a rearview mirror, or on the jumbotron at the Piston Cup. He ran a hand-wait, what even was that?-over his front.
"Ka-chow."

Peter was scared. One minute he was swinging around the neighborhood and the next he was in a car careening into the side of Delmar's. Wait-he was the car. "What the fuck?" He still had a voice? What part of the car was it even coming from? Nevermind, he didn't want to know. Peter tried to back out, but his wheels spun out against empty air. Luckily most of the people had escaped. Peter didn't want to be responsible for any deaths. Was it regular or vehicular manslaughter if you are the car? He didn't want to find out.
Mr. Delmar cried out for help from where he was trapped beneath some rubble. Peter squirmed to escape so he could help, but he couldn't budge. Voices outside cried, "Spider-Man, help him!" and he was trying but he couldn't move. Then Spider-Man, or whoever was wearing his suit, stumbled into the bodega like a person who had never walked before. Was he drunk?
"Help him!" Peter cried.
"Wow," the person in the suit said. "Even after a crash, that Rust-eeze still shines bright."
"Shut up, stop staring, and get him out of here!"
"Okay, geez."
Peter watched helplessly as the person clumsily dug through the rubble. Finally, Mr. Delmar managed to crawl out and fled the bodega. "Thank you, Spider-Man," he called back.
"You're welcome!" Peter said out of habit. Then he met eyes with the stranger in his skin.
"Who are you?"
What was Lightning McQueen doing in Queens? How did they get swapped? Will they swap back? I have no idea and I have no plans to figure any of that out. This crack exists in isolation and will remain so.
