Currently working as a warehouse worker after getting out of the army, its nothing serious, but its paying my bills and helping me move up in life. So I'm happy. Plus in another year I plan on trying out for the Anchorage PD again. So everything is a means to an end.

I enjoy fanfiction, its a hobby I don't have to worry about too much. Its something I can do easily. And its a great way for me to unwind. That being said, obviously I have a life outside of this. If I haven't updated in a bit, its because theres a world outside the internet. Don't use fanfiction as an escape, the real world is amazing, you just got to learn to see that.

Too many see anime and fanfiction as an escape from the real world. We do this with entertainment overall, whether its video games, music, manga, and I get it, sometimes life deals you a bad hand, but you should never try to escape your reality for too long, otherwise the more you try to deny the world around you, the worse your life will get. Growth and change are uncomfortable, but they are necessary for you to have a good life.

JC'S RULES FOR HEALTHY LIVING:

1. Stop watching Porn (THIS IS SERIOUSLY IMPORTANT, PORN WARPS YOUR SENSE OF REALITY AND KILLS YOUR DOPAMINE RECEPTORS, WHEN YOU WATCH PORN, YOU CUCK YOURSELF TO A COMPUTER SCREEN)

2. Work out regularly

3. Eat a balance diet

4. Stop listening to fear porn (For those of you who freak out over every single event in the news)

5. Stop complaining about every single aspect of your life. (Every second you spend complaining is a second you could have spent fixing your problems)

6. Read books

7. SOCIALIZE (Especially during times like this where lockdowns are forcing people indoors, you need to talk to people, or else you'll go nuts)

8. Vitamins help (Zinc, Vitamin D, Fish oil, you would be surprised how better you feel with just these three

9. NEVER SKIP LEG DAY!

10. Have a hobby, but don't let it consume you

11. Stop looking for things to be angry about, if you actively search for reasons to be pissed off or afraid, your life is going to suck.

12. And this is important, stop falling into the traps the millennial generation sets for themselves, whereas if they hear something about 'Oh just work harder' their immediate response is to pull up literally a THOUSAND reasons why they can't succeed, and don't take the time to think 'Wait, maybe there i something I can do to better my life?'

Sure I admit, life is different for us now in current times. But the thing is, we're also fortunate to be alive at this time. So don't squander it complaining about how things were so much easier for your parents, and find a way to overcome those obstacles. It will make for a far better story than just sitting around complaining how you're fucked no matter what.

In simpler terms, cut the bullshit, cut the excuses, and cut out the whole 'Woe is our generation' bullshit.

People are going to leave flame comments to try to get a rise out of you. Embrace it, because half of the time they're either hilarious, or you can use them to work on your weaknesses.

How my life is going: Great! I got a new job, got a place to live, making new friends, surprisingly making more money than I did in the army, got my own home gym set up so I can lift anytime I want. Life is good boys. Got my rifle, I got my pistol, and right now I have everything i need.

I am getting bored with my current job, so taking some additional schooling to increase my skill base as well as making some extra money on the side.

Hobbies: Writing, reading, journaling, Exercise, Hanging out with my cousin, Occasionally having a drink with friends, Hiking, Fishing, Camping, Some games.

Pet peeves: Overinflated egos, people putting on enough perfume or cologne to kill a yak, Conspiracy theorists who don't understand basic science, and people who don't have hope for the future. And people who's lives are going fine, but then they watch a news piece that makes them suddenly remember something they didn't like and act like the rest of their life is fucked up because of it.
