![]() Author has written 29 stories for El Hazard, Mega Man, Ranma, Kim Possible, Dragon Ball Z, Harry Potter, Sonic the Hedgehog, Elder Scroll series, Legend of Zelda, and Undertale. Well well, someone is curious about little old me. Now I have to give away personal info while being all bashful and humble. Right… I am a city dweller of the male persuasion. English is not my first language, but, with the exception of some quirks, I believe I know good enough English to actually impress people. I have been writing fanfiction for some time now and, although I sometimes pause for months, I don’t think I’ll ever stop writing. I like receiving reviews. I don’t mind one-liners, but feel free to send essays if you feel like it. Worshipful praise is fine, but don’t be afraid to correct me, say what you don’t like or give suggestions. I find it stupid that being accused of wanting reviews is a thing that can happen. I don’t actually demand X number of reviews to post the next chapter, but people who do, have every right to. I update chaotically. There is no way to tell what is tickling my fancy at any particular time. I enjoy writing, but I like other things too. Pestering me for updates might help sometimes, but I provide no guarantees. Likewise I never ‘abandon’ stories. Don’t be surprised if I suddenly update a story that has been sitting unloved for five years. Even my older trash is still online. If you want to PM about something, go ahead. I might answer in a minute or in a week, it might be a word or a thesis, but I’ll always read what you have to say. If it’s summer, it might take longer. I’m sometimes away from the Internet. I’m not running a sanitary Disney show. I don’t mind swearing and you’ll find that many of my characters don’t either. Now, somebody like, say, princess Nicespeak Tooelegant would never soil her innocent tongue, but the space pirate Grimdraken Soevil or even the disgruntled hero Highblade Savespersons are expected to curse, flirt or speak innuendo to their soul’s content. It rarely comes to, for example, ‘fuck’ (I’m usually more creative than that), but a couple of F-bombs are actually covered by the T rating, as seen in many popular movies. As you can see, I write in many fandoms. It’s a bit daunting to jump from a category where you are well-known and have a following to a new one where you are just another hopeful, unproven Joe, but I believe good writing will eventually out. I just need a trigger, a tantalizing idea, situation or relation to get me started. I sometimes lurk in relevant fandom forums, scavenging for untapped potential. I often use original characters. Most of the time, they work brilliantly. You often hear people bashing the infamous ‘OCs’, complaining about them stealing the spotlight from the canon heroes, being too perfect, having no personality, etc, etc. Wake up! It’s not the original characters, it’s the author’s style you don’t like. A good writer can take the most annoying, cliché, vapid Mary Sue in the history of oral and written speech and write a masterpiece you’ll want to read again and again. Meh, I might add more later. Just a couple things: 'Once a writer, always a writer. No exceptions...' ‘If you are not naïve enough to claim being unique/a rebel/notMainstream, while stupidly copying bullshit wisdom from other profiles, DO NOT copy this in your profile.’ |
