Date

"Tenten" Neji started, they were walking back to the dorms after practice. Lee excused himself to scream joys about youth with Guy sensei, so it was just the two of them, not that both minded.

"Hm?" She hummed, glancing up at him. Neji shifted a little, nervously. They were a hidden couple for a week almost, and Neji felt the need to do something.

"Are you free tomorrow after practice?" He asked, looking around frantically, making sure there was no one around.

"Yep" she grinned at him, having an idea of what he wanted. Whenever he could he would sneak into her room, and when there was no practice, stay there until dawn, sneaking out without waking her up. He took it seriously her warning about sleeping on the floor, limited himself to only give her a soft kiss on the cheek before leaving.

"I was wondering, if you wanted to go for lunch... as a date?" He asked. Rushing the last three words. Yes, they were together, but he still got nervous anyway. He was torturing himself into asking her on a date the whole week, but he was too shy for that.

Her eyes widened at him, and she blushed. He guessed that it wasn't what she thought.

"I would love to" she whispered, a shy smile playing on her lips, and he had to resist the urge to just hug her or hold her hand or kiss. Dang, how he was needy with her.

Smiling gentle at her, he brushed his fingers on hers, then shoving his hands in his pockets. They walked in silence until they needed to part ways, and Neji sulkily walked into his room, where he would need to sleep with loud snoring, and not with a beautiful woman by his side.

Tenten was giggly the whole night and next morning. He had asked her on a date! They already skipped some steps and made out on a daily basis, but still, a date is a date, and she never had one! Looking at her wardrobe, she had a problem though. How would she waltz outside school looking like a girl? She could use some cargo pants, put on a nice shirt and to cover herself she could use the extra big hoodie she had. Will it be hot and awkward to walk around with that? It will, but it will solve her problem. When they get away from school she would just adjust her hair into her usual twin buns and take out the hoodie. Smiling to herself, she put her plan into action.

After getting dressed, she checked herself in her mirror. Deciding that she was ready, Tenten walked out of her room and started to go to the parking lot, where Neji would be waiting. However, she didn't expect to find no other than Nomura stalking around in her hallway. Nerves started to raise in her, and she did her best to ignore the man, who apparently tried to ignore her too, but his eyes were trained on her. She only got to sigh in relief when she made it out of that corridor, walking faster towards the parking lot.

True to his words, Neji was waiting at the entrance of the said place, pacing from one side to the other. She bit her lower lip. There, dressed in jeans and a black dress shirt, he was looking extremely handsome, and nervous, making him extremely handsome and cute. She wondered how, against all odds, she scored a man so perfect.

Feeling her gaze, Neji looked at her direction, his eyes studying her for a moment, a small smile on his lips. Motioning her to follow him, she did just that, until they were in front of his car. Seeing as he was going for her door to open it, she raised a hand, stopping him. If there were any bystanders around, it would surely look strange, he would have the opportunity to display his chivalry later, now he was supposed to treat her as a bro. He pouted a little but went directly for the driver's seat, starting the car.

"So" she started, breaking the silence finally, it was making her nervous, "where are we going?" She asked, smiling at him. He returned her smile.

"I hope you like barbecue" he told her, and she beamed at him.

"I love meat!" She grinned, excited already for some barbecue.

He drove for five minutes before Tenten started to take out her hoodie, taking out her head band and letting her hair lose as well. Skillfully, she quickly put her hair in her two buns, then placed her discharged cloth on the backseat, smiling widely when finished.

"That's so much better!" She was being cooked alive inside that oversized thing.

Neji suddenly stopped the car, making her look at him curiously, only to be met with him smashing his lips into hers. It took her a second to register the kiss, but as soon as she understood what was going on, she kissed him back, giggling to herself happily. She wanted that badly too.

"I couldn't resist, sorry" he said when they finished their little passionate kiss, a slight blush on his cheeks. She laughed at him.

Shikamaru's day was like he liked, well, almost. Ino had barged into his and Choji's room demanding that they went for their weekly lunch together. It's not like he forgot, he just slept over, and lost track of time, like always. It was a drag these lunches, but they had since they were kids, first with their parents, and now that they lived in dorms, they made an effort to keep doing it by themselves, each week one would pick a place. This week was Choji's pick, and no surprises when he chose a barbecue place.

It got troublesome, however, when he spotted no other than Neji Hyuga walking alongside with a woman. That wouldn't be a problem by any means, the problem was that the woman was Tenshi, like, it screamed Tenshi, but feminine. If Ino or Choji spotted them, it would be troublesome and Hyuga would probably want them dead. Shikamaru thanked whatever God that existed that at least the couple sat where only he could see, with Ino and Choji's backs at them.

"Oe, sleepy head, what are you daydreaming on now?" Ino demanded, snapping him from his thoughts. He sighed, he would need to help Neji and Tenshi.

"Nothing in particular" he lied, but he usually said that anyway. Ino rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, Sai is probably off already from practice, so let's hurry up and finish" Ino said, and alarm bells started to ring in Shikamaru's head. If they left now, they would find the couple behind them.

"I still have some more meat left to eat" thankfully, Choji had his appetite as high as always, that would give him a little more time.

"Then hurry up" unfortunately, Choji was a little fearful of Ino's temper, and ate faster, only giving him five minutes. Panicking, he ordered another meal full of meat.

"I'm hungry" he limited himself to say when Ino and Choji looked at him surprised.

"Today you're feeling hungry?" Ino asked, not buying it.

"I didn't eat since yesterday's lunch" it was a lie, and Choji would know because he had dinner with him. But Choji wasn't a snitch, and they were best friends since he could remember, so surely he would help.

"Didn't we eat three pizzas last night?" Or not.

"I didn't eat much, wasn't hungry that time" another lie, he ate a whole pizza, while Choji ate two. Giving the chubby guy a pleading look, his friend refrained from exposing any more of his lies. Ino looked at them suspiciously.

"Ok, but you're paying for this. I'm not splitting bill for this extra portion" she said, and Shikamaru felt a little relief that she didn't press on.

When the meat arrived, he tried to eat as slowly as he could, one for buying up time, and two because he was actually almost exploding with food. Ino kept blabbering about her week, girl things and about Sai, apparently, and thankfully, forgetting about time, and they didn't mind it, used to her constants talking. After almost puking from eating so much, he managed to finish his meal, his head laid defeated on the table.

"Finally! Let's go!" His head snapped up immediately, cursing that those two were still happily chatting and eating their meal slower than him, if possible. He could excuse himself to the bathroom, but the chances of them looking around or just leaving him there to wait out were high. Panicking, he did the only thing he could think of.

"I'm talking with a girl from suna" he said panicked. There was a small blush on his cheeks because it was true. Still, it was suicide to tell Ino that, because she would turn into a questioning and excited monster.

Right after he said that, Inos and Chojis eyes widened in shock, and he thought that they were about to pass out too. Well, Choji did pass out, but Ino started to smile evilly, giggling like a maniac and clapping her hands together overly excited.

"O M G! Who is she? How is she? Do I know her? When did it happen? How did it happen? Did you guys go out yet? Did you kiss her? Made out? What's her address? Number? Blood type? What flower does she like?..." and the questioning of hell started.

When it was finally over, Choji had already recovered and helped Ino question him, but at the end, he survived. It had been a troublesome afternoon, and he surely wasn't looking forward for his next chat with Temari, sure that by then Ino would have stalked her and questioned her to no end as well.

Neji and Tenshi owed him big.

Nomura cursed his luck. He stalked by Tenshi's hallway for a good while, and when the boy finally came back, he was alone.

So far this week he had zero luck. Whenever Tenshi and Neji were alone together, they would maintain certain distance, and act like normal, but he saw the stolen glances here and there, and hidden smiles, making him believe even more that they were together. It was a shame that he could never hear what they said. He only wished that they would embrace and kiss or whatever, so he could snap a photo and post it everywhere.

Lost in his thoughts, he didn't realize someone stalking closer to where he was hidden in his stalking mission.

"What brings a healthy young man in here?" Said a man behind him, startling him. Turning around, he was met with a grinning old man.

"Jiraya-San!" He almost screamed, eyes filled with horror.

"The one and only! Now, now, my young man, if you're trying to get some good views, I'll suggest another locations, because here is not a good one, trust me. There are only boys walking mostly, and pretty ladies don't do much in hallways..." the old man wiggles his eyebrows at him.

"It's not what it looks like! I'm just standing here!" Nomura laughed nervously. He was stalking, but for other reasons.

"Then why are you here for what, three hours already?"

"Well..." when he couldn't explain himself, Jiraya got a hold of him.

"Come with me boy! I'll show you where to find the good stuff!" And he started to drag Nomura away.

Nomura found himself in front of the gym, on top of a three, spying on the girls team of gymnastics by one of the windows. Jiraya was by his side, binoculars at hand.

"Now now boy, this is a good look out place. This time of the day they are always doing extra practice" the man grinned at him. Nomura just groaned, not wanting to know how that old man knew that kind of stuff.

"Jiraya!" Tsunade yelled, charging at them, having tracked her pervert friend. Now Nomura wanted to die from embarrassment. That's it, enough stalking, he would try another approach to his quest.

Nomura ended up getting detention for one day.

The date was perfect. First, even though she was wearing an oversized hoodie and her hair in a man bun, she looked dazzling. When she took that out, and put her hair up in now two buns, he couldn't contain himself, he needed to kiss her. He would have kissed even more, if he wasn't hungry and feared that she was starving too.

Lunch was heavenly, they talked about their families, told stories of their childhood and ate a lot of delicious meat. He thought he heard a shriek that sounded like Ino at some point, but thought it was only his imagination, the blonde would have bothered them to no if she saw them. After lunch they went for a walk in the park, helping them digest the food. There she tugged him on getting her some cotton candy, which she made him eat it with her, laughing with the faces he made while eating. He needed to drink a whole gallon of water afterwards to deal with the sweetness. After that, they went back to school.

He was in his room at the moment, changing clothes. He would have preferred walking straight to her room, without delay, but she told him to go change. He was way too formal to just go into her room without suspicion. She was being cautious and doing the right thing, but Neji still sulked about that, his patience not being so good like how he thought. Deciding that he was looking casual and comfortable enough, he made his way to her room. Knocking her door once, to let her know he was there, he opened the door, stepping inside and closing the door behind him. She was on her bed, laptop on her lap, and when she saw him, she smiled brightly at him.

"C'mon over" she patted the bed. Neji wasted no time, as he sat by her side and slid a hand around her back to her waist, bringing her closer to him. Taking his initiative, she snugged by on his side, putting her laptop on his lap now. "Let's watch a movie" she grinned at him, and he smiled at her.

"Sure, what you want to watch today?" For his delightful surprise, her taste in movies were basically action and comedy. He would have had a hard time watching so many movies with her if it were dramas or tearjerkers.

"You pick one today, I always pick" she told him, kissing his jaw. Well, he didn't know many movies, he was more of a book guy. And also, the kiss on his jaw made him not want to watch movies.

"I don't know many movies, just the ones we watched"

"What about one about your books" she said, still giving him little kisses on his jaw. Neji groaned, this woman was maddening him.

"I don't have anything in mind at the moment"

"Then what do you have in mind at the moment?" She stopped the kisses and gave him a sly smirk. That's it, they weren't watching movies today.

In a quick movement, he picked her laptop with his free hand, putting it aside in her nightstand. Then Neji pinned her down, kissing her. She seemed to expect that, as she grinned against his lips, her hands bringing him closer to her. Wanting more, he started trailing kisses down her neck, enticing a moan from her. They did this a lot of times during the week, but before he could get any more worked up, she would bring his head back by his hair and remind him to behave. Today however, she just let him continue with his kisses, and he couldn't contain himself on biting too, making her squirm under him and moan a little louder.

Sliding one of his hands under her shirt, he was glad that there were no bindings, and he could finally touch some skin of her abdomen. Slowly tracing his hands up, expecting to hit some kind of fabric soon, instead, he found more warm skin and the start of a curve, meaning that there was nothing in there, just breasts. This time, he was the one that moaned, wasting no time to work his hand under her shirt, making her gasp and squirm, making him more and more insane. He wasn't thinking anymore, he was sure of it, he was just following his instincts.

Suddenly she pushed him over, making him wonder if he did something wrong. The thought went away when she climbed on top of him, her face flushed but still a sly smirk playing on her lips.

"My turn" she declared, and he was sure that if he had any hope to conceal what was happening down there, that hope went flying out of the window right now.

Their first time started hot, then got awkward, then went back to hot full force, and Tenten found herself lying on top of his chest, both breathing heavy, sweaty and flushed, not to say that her bed was now a mess of hair, with both their long hairs free. She never felt happier and good.

Tenten discovered that she was loud, while he wasn't so much, sure he made some delightful sounds here and there, but comparing to her, he was mute.

"I hope the neighbors didn't mind the noise" she commented, laughing about it. She knew she should be embarrassed, but she was in such a good mood that she didn't care.

"Didn't you know? The rooms here are soundproof. Jiraya-San requested that, his reason was that teenagers would need that." Neji informed her, his hand drying circles on her back.

"Oh, good to know" she grinned, thankful for once to Jiraya. Indeed, soundproof room was a good surprise, and definitely something they needed.

Neji hummed, and they stayed there, resting happy in each other embrace. The hand making circles on her back started to send her tingling sensations, and she started to trace the lines of his chest and abdomen muscles, smirking when his heartbeat got slightly faster.

"Tenten, we forgot about protection" His voice came a little panicked, and she wanted to laugh. Just now he remembered that?

"I take contraceptives, if not I wouldn't even be able to walk. Though I'm not able to do much anyway." She laughed when she heard him sigh in relief. "Anywayyy" she creeped her lips to his ear while her hand slid down, "want to go again?" She didn't have to ask again, as he quickly hovered over her.

Needless to say, they didn't sleep much that night, occupied with other activities.

The next day, they woke up late, almost in time for lunch again. Deciding against leaving their little nest, they settled in ordering food while finally watching a movie, and Tenten had to admit, being lazy like that felt awesome. Stretching, she snuggled closer to the man by her side, taking in his scent, loving it even more now.

"Tenten?"

"Mhmm?"

"What are your plans after nationals are over?" Neji asked her, and she needed to double take his question.

"Well... after nationals were over, my first plan was to go back to Whirlpool, I guess. Now I'm not really sure..." she never dreamt of getting a boyfriend in here, so she didn't think much about it. Now, however, she had second thoughts about her plan.

"I see" Neji went quiet for a while, deep in thought.

"But don't worry, I'll come up with something along the run" she assured him. He gave her a warm little smile and a kiss on her forehead.

"We'll come up with something, I'm tagging along too" he told her, making her heart make all kinds of flips and twists inside. "I'm sorry for bringing it up, probably wasn't the best time."

"Don't worry, it is something that we need to think anyway" she didn't mind it, she was even glad that he thought about it and was taking initiative of participating in her plans.

"Still, we were in the middle of a movie" she snickered at his comment.

"Were you really watching it?" She questioned him. She was snuggling him all the time, and Tenten was sure that his attention wasn't on the movie. And as she expected, his face expressed guilty as charged.

"I'm sorry" he apologized, making her laugh. She always dragged him into watching her movies and he never complained, and now even apologized? This man was unbelievable good for her.

"Don't worry, I know some ways that you can make it up to me" she teased him. He blushed but smirked anyway.

"Tell me more about it then" and so she did.

...

"Yo, Sasuke" Sasuke was minding his own business in a boring Friday afternoon when Nomura approached him. He frowned. Sasuke didn't have anything against the guy, but he wasn't his friend either.

"Hn"

"Can I ask you something?" Sasuke shrugged, if the question wasn't dumb he would answer it.

"What?"

"Do you think there's something between Tenshi and Neji?" Nomura asked and Sasuke almost choked. What in the world?

"What!?" He asked back, eyes wide.

"I mean, don't you think it's odd that they are always walking around together, that Neji is not icy cold with the guy and always protects him? And Tenshi does blush around him" Nomura quickly added.

Sasuke had to give it to him, he did notice those things, but that didn't mean a thing, right? The fact that after the party two weeks ago those two seemed even closer, and that a week ago both seemed in really high spirits, with Hyuga smiling more than twice a day, he could maybe assume that something might be going on. But that was just speculation. Plus, Tenshi helped him big time, and whatever Nomura wanted to know about him meant bad news for the little guy, so Sasuke wouldn't go with whatever Nomura planned.

"Sorry, they are just friends, like Lee and Neji. Difference is, Tenshi isn't as loud and have better fashion taste" was all that he was going to tell the guy. Nomura sighed and bid his goodbye, leaving Sasuke to mull over their little chat just now. Shrugging, it wasn't his business to meddle with.

The next day, however, after practice, a conversation piqued his interest. Naruto, Kiba, Shino and Sai were gathered in a corner talking about those two.

"I wonder" He heard Sai comment.

"Wonder about what?" Sasuke butted in. The quartet glanced at him.

"Nomura came asking around about Neji and Tenshi. While we said nothing, we have to admit that something fishy is going around, especially this week. Neji didn't even mind me hugging Hina-chan! Instead, he just smiled, and to be honest, it freaked me out even more" Naruto shivered, remembering the incident.

"Not to mention that he didn't go full rage against Tenshi for smacking a ball on his face and giving him that ugly bruise. Although it was hilarious" Kiba laughed.

"Let's just leave them be, it's not our business" Sasuke told them, the more they talked, the more it would spread, probably that was Nomura's plan.

"But teme! aren't you curious? I mean, Neji and Tenshi?" Naruto asked, his eyes giving a mischievous glint. Sasuke grunted, he was curious, but his common sense told him to stay away from Hyuga's business.

"Why don't we ask them?" Sai suggested, and it seemed to please everyone. It wouldn't hurt to ask, Sasuke pondered.

"If we're going to ask, safest bet is asking Tenshi, Neji would probably be pissed" and angry Hyuga was worse than an angry Tenshi, or so he thought.

"Anyone knows where he could be? His room maybe?" Kiba asked.

"S10" Shino replied, surprising everyone. That was the first time he said something in that conversation.

"Awesome! Let's go!" Naruto grinned, "by the way, how do you know?" He asked Shino.

"I pass by there sometimes and saw him going there" Shino shrugged. It didn't really answer the question, but they let it slide, more focused on interrogating Tenshi.

Arriving in front of the door, the five guys looked at each other.

"Should we knock?" Naruto wondered, and Kiba slapped his head.

"Of course! You dumbass, what if he is naked in there. I don't want to see a naked man."

"So knock already!" Naruto glared at him.

"Sure!" And Kiba knocked. Then knocked again, and again, until Naruto run out of patience and tried to open the door, which was unlocked. Well, Kiba 's pretense of someone being naked was almost correct. After a scream and a water bottle throwed at them, they hurriedly closed the door, faces red.

"So, they are together" Shino said, his face dark crimson.

"Guys, why does Tenshi have boobies?" Naruto asked the question everyone was dreading to ask.

...

Just perfect. They were in the middle of their make out, well, more than middle as some pieces of clothes were already discharged, when the door busted open. They were both without shirts and he already had stripped Tenten from the hellish bindings, so the guys had a pretty view of them. Instinctively, Neji hovered over her, trying to hide her the best he could, while she screamed and reached for her water bottle, throwing it at the intruders. Thankfully, it made them shut the door. Grunting, Neji got up, throwing his shirt at her for her to use it, he went for the door. It was better to tackle those idiots before they did anything dumb. Opening slightly the door, he was relieved when it was only the five idiots and no one more.

"Get your asses in here right now" he demanded, not giving room for debate. Glancing over at Tenten, he felt bad as he forgot to warn her about locking the door, and now there she was, almost hiding completely under the covers, embarrassed to no end. If those guys saw anything of her he would beat them until they forgot everything.

Talking about those guys, they were now standing in the middle of the room, looking anywhere but at him and his girlfriend.

"First of, what did you guys saw" he asked, arms crossed in front of his chest.

"Nothing" everyone said in unison, making Neji roll his eyes at their obvious lie. Kiba had a bloody nose for heaven's sake.

"You are horrible liars" it was Tenten who pointed it out, snorting behind him. He looked over her, she was still embarrassed, but thankfully she was in his shirt and had covers in front of her.

"Tenshi?" Naruto asked, puzzled. Of course, she had used her real voice, one that the guys didn't recognize. Neji sighed, they better just come clean with them.

And so they did, after some embarrassing ten minutes, they quickly explained their situation. Pointing out that yes, Tenshi was a woman, and yes, Neji was well aware of that (he wanted to punch Naruto when he asked him that). They hid some facts though, like the making out while he thought she was still a man, he didn't need to feed them blackmail material.

"So you two are a thing?" Sasuke asked him. He was sitting on the chair by her desk, while the other four on the floor. Neji, that was sitting by Tenten's side, gave him a 'are you kidding me look'.

"Yes" he answered anyway, knowing that some guys there were dumb enough to not get the point, even though they were caught almost in the act, she was wearing his shirt, he was sitting by her side, and they admitted going out.

"Uhm, guys. If it isn't asking too much, can we keep it a secret? I mean, just treat me like before, and not mentioning anything of me and Neji. We don't want anyone knowing" she asked, looking much more comfortable now, she had even laughed here and there, something that Neji was glad.

"Sure thing! I won't say a thing!" Naruto chirped, and everyone nodded in agreement. They were good friends of her anyway.

"Shouldn't we let the rest of the gang know at least? I mean, the girls, Shikamaru and Choji?" It will be easier at lunch" Kiba asked, thoughtful. Neji looked at Tenten, it was her secret, so her decision. Looking back at him, she smiled, and he couldn't help but smile back,

"I guess it's fair. Lunch will be easier indeed" she agreed, smiling at the other guys too.

"Awesome! I'll go call them!" Naruto promptly got up and rushed out of the room before they could stop him.

"Wait, now!?" She asked in disbelief. Neji pinched the bridge of his nose, sensing a headache coming.

...

"You're a what!?" Ino and Sakura asked, or shouted, in disbelief. His cousin was shocked with her mouth hanging open and eyes wide. Choji too was shocked, and Shikamaru looked livid for some reason.

"Why didn't you guys come out like a week earlier!" He demanded, earning a confused look from everyone.

"Huh, why?" Ino asked, then she realized what happened last week, "that's why you were acting so strange on our lunch last Saturday!" She pointed a finger at him. Shikamaru grunted.

"Lunch?" Neji asked him.

"We were in the same restaurant as you two, and I had to keep Ino and Choji busy while you two were eating" Shikamaru gave him an exasperated look. Neji and Tenten blinked.

"You knew!?" Ino beat them into asking that.

"Of course!" Shikamaru sighed, "since day two, it wasn't so hard to see that she was a woman trying to be man" he said lazily, going back into his usual self. Ino smacked him on the head.

"Easy for you, genius!"

"Anyway," Tenten intervened, "thank you for keeping it a secret and helping us out" she offered Shikamaru a smile, and he just shrugged. "And please, just treat me like before, so no one suspects a thing" she pleaded the group in front of her. Neji glared at them, daring them to say no.

"Of course!" Sakura said, smiling sweetly, "you helped us a lot, it's only fair we help you now!" Everyone nodded in reply. Neji felt proud, indeed, Tenten helped almost all of them in some way. She always looked out for the others, helping whenever she could.

She's wife material

Just leaving this out here, she's wife material and you need to agree.

Shaking his head, and ignoring the smile he subconsciously made, Neji cleared his throat.

"Now that we are clear of everything, I have a question for the five idiots who barged in first" he glared at said guys, "why on earth did you come here?"

"Well" Kiba started, awkwardly scratching the back of his head, the others imitated him in some sort of way, "we heard some rumors about you two and wanted to ask Tenshi, I mean, Tenten about." Neji's and Tenten's eyes widened.

"Rumors?" Tenten asked.

"From whom?" He demanded.

"Nomura" Sasuke replied, looking at Neji, making his blood boil. That bastard!
