Hi there! Has it really been three years since I last updated this story? Sorry about that, but I was struggling with writer's block after chapter eleven. And then I kind forgot about the story. I've been trying so much to get back to this story, but I never had the motivation to it. I will try to continue with the story again, but I don't think I will update it as much as I did before.
It was a new morning in Middleton and Kim was on her way to Ron's house to talk to him. After their little fight yesterday, Kim had tried to call to him, but he didn't answer and he didn't call her back, which concerned her. So, she decided to visit him at his house to talk to him there.
Kim drove up to his driveway and parked her car. She got out of the car and noticed his scooter wasn't there. Maybe it was in the garage? She hoped he was home. Kim walked up to the porch and rang on the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. After a little while Mrs. Stoppable came and opened the door.
"Hello Kim. Did you forget something?" Mrs. Stoppable asked and smiled at her.
"No, but I was looking for Ron. Is he home?" Kim asked.
"No, he's working today. I thought you knew about that?" Mrs. Stoppable told her.
"Working? I thought he had the day off today?" Kim asked and looked confused at her.
"He took an extra shift today." Mrs. Stoppable told her.
"He did? I have get going. Bye" Kim said and turned around to walk over to her car.
"Is everything alright between you two?" Mrs. Stoppable asked and looked worried at Kim.
Kim stopped at this and looked down on the ground. "I…" Kim said in a low voice and took a big breath and turned around to look at Mrs. Stoppable and noticed the worried look on her face. "I don't know" Kim continued, while fiddling with her fingers. "We had a little fight yesterday, and he haven't answered my calls."
"Well I hope you and Ron can figure it out." Mrs. Stoppable said. "Do you want to talk about it"
Kim shook her head and looked at Mrs. Stoppable. "No, but thanks anyway." She said and smiled. "Me and Ron will figure it out by ourselves"
"If you say so" Mrs. Stoppable said and smiled back.
They said their goodbyes and Kim walked over to her car, she decided to drive to Smarty Smart to talk to Ron there. She was a little worried on why Ron ignored her calls, and why he suddenly took an extra shift on Smarty Smart. Wasn't he supposed to quit his job? Did he suddenly decide to not use his naco royalties anymore? It was not Ron at all to ignore her calls, he always called her back. But why didn't he do it this time? Was he angry at her? Kim shook the thoughts off her, it was probably nothing to worry about she thought. His phone was probably out of battery.
After a little while Kim finally arrived at Smarty Smart and walked over to the door. She walked over to the Animal department to look for Ron there. After looking around for him she finally found him feeding the gorilla. She smiled and walked over to him.
"Hi, Ron" Kim said with a big smile on her face.
"What do you want?" Ron asked irritated and didn't even look around to look at her, continuing feeding the gorilla.
This took Kim by surprise and looked confused at him. "Oh, uhm. I was wondering if we could talk?" Kim asked and placed her hand on his shoulder.
Ron sighed and removed her hand from his shoulder and turned around to look at her "Can't you see I'm at work. We can talk later" Ron snapped at her and turned around again to feed the gorilla.
Kim couldn't understand why he acted like this. Was it because of yesterday? He was angry at her now? Kim backed away from him and felt tears in her eyes. "Fine, but I'm just wondering why you didn't answer my calls? Is everything alright?" Kim asked and looked at Ron.
Ron didn't answer her, and just sat there.
"Ar you taking te silent treatment to me?Fine, I'm leaving." Kim said irritated and walked away. Suddenly she felt someone grabbed her arm and turned around and saw Ron standing there.
"I have a break in ten minutes, we can talk then" Ron said and let go of her arm.
"Yes we can" Kim said. "Where?"
"Outside" Ron said and walked over to the gorilla again.
"See you outside in ten minutes" Kim said and walked away. As she walked away, she felt tears running down her cheek. Why was Ron like this? Kim wiped away her tears and noticed some people staring at her and whispered to each other. They even pointed at her. They had probably heard rumors about her pregnancy by now and buying a house. She sighed and ignored them and walked outside and sat down on a bench.
After fifteen minutes on waiting Ron finally came out and walked over to Kim who still sat on the bench. She smiled at him, but he didn't smile back at her at all. "Do you want to sit down?" Kim asked.
"No, I think I stand." Ron said, while crossing his arms.
"Okay, what's going on? Why are you so cold to me?" Kim asked irritated.
"Because you get angry at me for telling that woman that you are buying a house, which I didn't" Ron told her. "And you blame me for that people are spreading rumors about you being pregnant!"
"I didn't like that the woman from the open house is spreading rumors about me, so I got a little angry at you, I'm sorry." Kim said and got up from the bench and walked closer to Ron. "And now I see people are whispering and pointing at me."
"Do you even want this baby?" Ron asked as he looked at Kim.
"Yes, of course. How many times do I have to tell you that I want this baby" Kim said and looked confused at Ron.
Ron looked irritated at her and shook his head. "I know you only want to keep the baby just because of me. It's like you change your mind every time. And I'm getting tired of that."
Kim looked at him with a confused look and raised an eyebrow. "That's not true at all. I told you that I want this baby too."
"Look, you obviously don't want this baby. So why don't you do yourself a favor and get rid of that thing" Ron said in a cold voice and crossed his arms while avoiding eye contact with her.
Kim's eyes widened as Ron said that. She was speechless and placed her hand on her belly. She couldn't believe what Ron just said. "Get rid of that thing?" She felt tears running down her cheeks again. She looked into his eyes to see if really meant it "Ron please tell me you didn't mean it." Kim said as she was tearing up, she tried to grab his hand, but he quickly pulled it away.
"This is not easy for me to say, but I think we need a break." Ron said in a low voice, still not looking at Kim. "I need to think about this" Ron said and took a deep breath before he continued and looked at her. "About us…"
"Ron you don't mean that? You can't. I'm pregnant" Kim said frustrated as she was tearing up.
"But for how long?" Ron asked and looked down on her belly and shook his head. He turned around and started to walk back. "I call you in a couple of days when I have made up my mind."
Kim was just standing there speechless she didn't know what do. Did he really mean that? Taking a break? Was her best friend and boyfriend going to break up to her? She started to cry even more now. Kim ran over to her car and just sat there crying. "E-everything is y-your fault" Kim sobbed as she looked down at her belly. Was she really blaming the baby for their relationship right now? It was not the baby's fault at all for them being careless. Why would Ron think that she only kept the baby for his sake? She wanted this baby as much as he did. "I'm sorry" Kim said as she stroked her stomach.
If Ron was going to break up with her, did she had to raise this kid as a single mom? Would Ron be out of the picture? No, of course he wouldn't, that was not like him at all. They would probably have shared custody. Kim shook this thought out of her head. She did not want to think about that. She took a deep breath and wiped away her tears. "Ron will change his mind and come back to us. Right?" Kim told herself as was looking down at her belly again. She decided to leave Ron alone for a couple of days and hoped that he would change his mind.
I think I teared up a little while I was writing this chapter. I don't know when the next chapter will be up, so maybe next week? I can't promise anything. I just hope I don't abandon this story again
