Hello everyone this is my very first attempt to write a Dramione story so if you could cope with me I'm not that good at writing on English. This'll be a slow burn relationship between Hermione and Draco! But please still review appreciate mostly everything else you say will improve my writing skills!

Chapter 1.
Connect
Hermione was twisting and turning in bed she was extremely excited and nervous at the same time in for tomorrow. She never thought Ginny would pressured her in to this dance lessons with her! This might have been a terrible idea to do. She wasn't able to dance that great. She had only done that once in her life time and it was at the Yull ball in fourth year with Victor Krum and then she wasn't that great or was she?
She tried to shake off her thoughts out of her head so she could finally go to sleep but it never came. She sigh and pulled the cover of her body and get up to do some tea to herself. As soon after she was in the kitchen she fixed herself a cup of tea and then sat down on the barstool with a loud sigh 'I'm never going to get any sleep tonight' she thought to herself meanwhile she sipped on her tea.
The next morning she was waiting for Ginny to get ready so they could go to the dance studio for their first lesson!
"Ginny are you ready anytime soon we need to go?. Or else we are going to be late for our first lesson, it was you who dragged me in to this!" It was like on cue she came downstairs from her and Harry's room.
"Now I'm ready, lets go" she said in a replied so they apparition to the studio within a few seconds.
As soon they had changed clothes, they walked inside the dancing room put their belongings on the bench,
"Ginny?, why'd I've be going to this dance lessons again?" Hermione asked never one for a dancing tape of girl she love being home read a book or literally everybody else says workaholic surely she love doing those things.
Usually Ginny always nagging her to have some fun more often.!
"I know this isn't your thing to do for fun, and also this is the anytime we get to spend time together only just us, you know!" Ginny said with a huge grin on her face whenever she does that her eyes sparkling, Hermione wish she was just as beautiful like Ginny is but she nevertheless going to be that beautiful, her self-confidence with herself in the beauty. She never was the girl who cared about appearances she was the nerdy or a freak never once have someone said she's beautiful besides from Harry, Ron, Ginny and the other Weasley clan and of course her parents.
But they're not here anymore so they don't count, she do miss them everyday of course why shouldn't she miss them they're after all her parents.
"Yeah, I know Gin. But couldn't we just do something else together that I'd like to do? You knew I wasn't in for this. I'm ridiculous at dancing. You saw me at the Yull ball in my fourth year I was completely ridiculous at it!" Hermione said she hated failing she wanted to be good at everything that was why she did study so much in her youth. So she could have a place in the Wizardry world, but then that evil little cockroach came and said 'mudblood' to me! Of course she was devastated at the time but she got use to it, that git of a man.
After the battle some people has changed for the better of course, Hermione isn't the same as before the war or Harry, Ron and Ginny that's for sure! She hasn't seen Malfoy since the battle. She knew that he's married to Astoria Malfoy neè Greengrass, she also knows that they've a son named Scorpius who's the same age as James is now, Hermione just love her little nephew she can't believe Harry and Ginny has a son now. Many from their follow classmates got married and started a family of their own. Sometimes she'd feel left out from the rest of her friends.
James is so adorable, someday she wish that'll happen to her also be able to have a family of her own.
"No Hermione, you're not ridiculous at dancing you was one of the best to dance at Yull ball and you also was stunning. I promise you that!" She replied to Hermione. She only shaking her head at the redhead girl.
'No, Ginny! is only saying that because of she's her best friend or only girl best friend.' Hermione thought to herself, Hermione knew somewhere back of her mind that Ginny was right but she couldn't believe it anyway.
People after people stroll right into the room and soon it would start! Hermione and Ginny stood and talked together while they waited. It felt like a eternity for the lesson to start!. Hermione had her back to the door when Ginny stopped mid-sentences. She looked at Ginny curiosity and raised a eyebrows at her.
"What's happened Ginny?... Why'd you just stopped talking?" Hermione asked.
Ginny only was able to point at the couple currently walking in hand in hand she turned around to look who it was when she saw who it was she recognised the person just looking at him .
'Malfoy, great now I'll be certain be bullied by him here too not just in school.'
She turned towards Ginny again "Ginny, I cannot do this I need to go" she said meanwhile she took her belongings just as she started walking towards the door. Gin put a hand on her shoulder, "Hermione, don't go. Don't let him get the justify of winning!" Ginny said with a firmly voice in her tone, Ginny most definitely learned that from her mother. She sounded exactly as Molly it's quite scary whenever Ginny does that, surely she also is a mother but that's beside the point.
"Alright, only for you Gin!. If he says any insulting towards me then I'll leave" Hermione reply with a sigh, putting away her belongings back onto the bench once more. "Fine with me" her redhead friend said.
"Hi everyone my name is Mrs Ryan and I'll be your teacher for the time being, I know some of you already know each other from before" Mrs Ryan said with a lovely smile. Mostly of the group said 'hi' to her, "Well... today's lesson will be learning the basics of the steps. But of course firstly I want to know which one of you can dance waltz. Mostly to see how much you know, so pair up with a partner and start waltzing. I also know this sort of dance is difficult but this is what everyone in the wizardry world learns as a child." everyone took a partner as Mrs Ryan said. Hermione and Ginny paired themselves together of course they were aware they couldn't dance together but it missed two guys so they decided to dance together instead.
After a while dancing, they took a break to drink or go to the lavatory! - Mrs Ryan walked right into the room again! "Alright... I saw before the break we're not having enough guys to be paired up with those beautiful girls right over here, so I was thinking that everyone is going to dancing together only just for today. So everyone else gets a chance to dance with a guy." Mrs Ryan then paired us up with a guy, Ginny gotten someone who Hermione didn't recognise! Hermione herself unfortunately got Malfoy but she didn't want to have a fuss over it so she only walked over and stand beside him. The only thing they'd to each other was nodding!.
After while they've all dance together with a guy! It was kind of awkward dancing with Malfoy. But she could admit he's not a bad dancer but could nevertheless admit it out loud. Only herself to knowing that secret!.
He had gotten much more muscular, border shoulders, he's skin tone more tanned, he's features is more handsome since last time she saw him. 'Wow, did I just thought that about Malfoy. I must go completely mental if I thinking that about him!.' Hermione thought to herself whilst she stared at him she felt a hand on her shoulder, then just like that she was back to the reality. "Hermione?... You're staring at Malfoy" Ginny whisper in her ear. She turned around looking at Ginny in the eyes. "Oh, sorry I zoned out a little.. What'd you say?" Ginny as usual grinning ear to ear, Hermione's eyebrows knitting together in a questionably manner "What?" Hermione asked after a while but of course Ginny took her belongings and started walking towards the door to leaving Hermione standing stunned in place as Ginny walked away from her.
The day went by quicker then Hermione's liking soon it was time to go to bed. Tomorrow was like usual a new day with more learning and help at St.Mungos, after her work day is over she'll go straight to Ginny and Harry place to babysit James, so Harry and Ginny can get some alone time together it was a long time since they were out on a date or they just might staying at home to relax together but they'd need more time together.
Hermione walked into the bathroom started the shower and stripped all her clothes put them in laundry, got in the shower let the water drop on her body. Slowly she started to feel all the muscles in her body to relax from all the tension from today's event. Eventually she finally was finished with her shower walked out and dried her hair with her wand so it wouldn't be frizzy and bushy in the morning, and then dried her body with the towel. Then walked back into the bedroom put on some underwear and a tank top with pyjamas, with a flick of her wand turned off the lights and crawled underneath the covers as soon her head hit the pillow she fall asleep straight away.
Sorry I know this isn't the best but I'd my best so cope with me i do not have a beta-writer so if there's any grammatical issues mistakes or if only have missed something just let me know so I can correct it. Only appreciate if someone would be a beta-writer this story you only need is PM me. Like a said in the beginning of my A/N this is a slow burn you'll know soon in enough I promise I probably try to update weekly I'm not sure just yet whichever it going to be. So if you've any ideas for the story then you know what to do review and tell me what you think of the story and what you think will happen in the future between everyone in the story! In the next chapter it'll be some arguments between Draco and Hermione as usual.
