I calmly flip an omelet as Towa stares at the back of my head.
"…"
I sit in silence for a few moments before slowly looking back to the demon. "What?"
She doesn't respond immediately.
"What do you want, Towa?! You've been staring at me for the past ten minutes."
"Nothing." She mutters as she looks away suddenly.
I give her a half lidded glare, then turn back to the food, my red tail twitching slightly in annoyance.
"Niiiioooon~" a girl grins in a sing-songy tone as she flings open the door.
I look towards the hallway as Chronoa eventually appears, looking as she always does. "You remember that fight I told you I was setting up?"
"Vaguely." I blink. "Wanna omelet?"
"I-" the wind seems to have been taken out of her sails as she stares blankly at me for a moment. "Uh... sure?'
"Okay. What would you like on it?" I ask over my shoulder as I grab three eggs from the carton to my left.
"Oh... uh... I don't really mind. Anything is good." She replies.
She sits in silence for a good thirty or so seconds. "Wait a minute! I didn't come here to have breakfast; I came here to tell you about the tournament!"
"Oh neat." I hum as I quietly pour the beaten eggs into the pan and drop a few pieces of chopped vegetables into it.
"We are going to kick off this year's Conton World Martial Arts tournament by having a little fight to determine who is the strongest in Conton city!"
"So you're going to have Goku and I fight just right off the bat?" I ask with a small smile. "Hn, that actually sounds pretty fun."
"Nope! It'll be a five-way fight! A free for all! Whoever lasts the longest is crowned Conton's strongest fighter!"
"…" I blink slowly and look back. "Uh... well that actually sounds really fun... I wonder if I can convince Goku to fuse with whoever is fighting."
"No. You probably won't be able to." The kai smiles. "But you shouldn't be so arrogant in assuming you'll win."
"Hm. Right. Arrogance. Maybe." I shrug.
We sit in silence for a while, the only noise being Towa quietly eating and the sizzling of the omelet in the pan.
"So... when's this fight going to be?" I slowly ask.
"In thirty minutes." She answers.
I look back with a surprised expression. "Huh... thought occurs, wouldn't this sort of thing normally be at the end of the tournament?"
"Normally." The kai states. "But this year we plan to kick things off with a bang."
"Oh sure, if it's an interesting fight they'll be a bang, alright." I scoff. "Beerus and I nearly popped universe seven, so if there's an 'interesting' fight I can see the same happening to Conton."
"That's why you'll be fighting in the void." The kai deadpans.
"The void?" I ask "Classy."
I finish her omelet in mostly silence, Chronoa pokes fun at Towa every now and then riling up the demon and causing her to act a little childish.
I lay a plate down on the table.
"Omelet's done." I announce as I turn and walk to the fridge, grabbing a light protein shake and a tube of sustenance paste.
Chronoa looks down at it for a moment before shrugging and taking a bite.
"Oh wow. This is actually pretty good. I didn't know you knew how to cook, Nion." The kai of time blinks widely.
I gesture to Towa. "When you live with that, you need to learn how to do most household chores because she sure as hell won't be doing anything."
"What do you mean by THAT?!"
"I mean that you are supposed to be a prisoner, yet you are living better than like eighty percent of Conton city. You live here, get food basically whenever you want it, and in exchange... you give nothing."
"…"
The demon crosses her arms over her chest and pouts.
"Tch. How the hell am I supposed to charge rent for a prisoner?!" I scoff.
"Anyways I'm going to get ready for my big bout. I know Goku's Gonna be there, but I'm excited to see who the other three are."
"Oh... you're going to be surprised alright." The kai giggles with a small impish grin.
"Hn." I hum with a small eye roll. "That's totally not ominous. What, did you snag Frieza from the god timeline or something?"
"Nope! You'll just have to wait and see!" The kai cheers.
"Fiiiiine." I scoff. "but I sort of hope it's beerus again."
"It's not Beerus." The kai states with a half-lidded expression and a flat tone.
"Mn." I pout.
"Weeeeeelcome ladies and gentlemen to the largest historic event in Conton City since the city was created fifty years ago! Today we have something special for all of you! Her grace, Lady Chronoa has set up a brilliant match that will decide a question that has been on everyone's mind for a LONG time!"
"Who is the strongest?"
"Today we are going to have five candidates duke it out in the center of nothingness to see if we can finally answer that question!"
I sit beside Chronoa as a saiyan in a floating booth made of katchin seems to be having the time of his life.
There are a few dotted islands littering the void, each serving as seating for various people from Conton, a much larger island floats in the distance. Dozens of tiny drones flutter around, projecting the landscape to several large screens.
Towa sits on Chronoa's other side, cautiously looking around the small personal island we find ourselves on.
"Five enter the arena! One leaves, crowned as the strongest fighter in Conton!"
"You are all probably pretty tired of my rambling eh? So why don't we Introduce our fighters of today!"
"Firstly, you know him, one of the first members of the time patrol and the holder of title of strongest up until today! Will that change? IT'S SON GOKUUUUU!"
Goku teleports onto the floating island, all the cameras lock onto him as he waves with a childish smile.
"Second to enter the ring! A rival to the strongest, one who was always right beside our first contestent in terms of strength, will today be the day he finally takes that step beyond? IT'S VEGETAAAA!"
Vegeta teleports into the ring a moment later via Kai, the kai in question quickly teleports away a moment later.
Vegeta's arms are crossed, he shoots a glare at the camera.
"Oh, Vegeta was number two? Hn. Should have expected that." I mutter.
"The Third to enter the ring! We've got Goku, We've got Vegeta, who might possibly be stronger other than a fusion of the two! It's VEGITOOOO!"
A third figure instant transmissions onto the island, a tall saiyan with reddish black hair, he wears a black overcoat that goes to his knees and a red GI underneath, a blue cloth belt around his waist. He has white gloves over his hands, and saiyan combat boots that come up to just below his knees.
He rolls his shoulders then smirks at the camera.
"The fourth, you know him well! Coming from a distant world far in the future, and since he has been here, well, frankly, Conton's been extremely busy! The Saiyan Enegma who has ascended to godhood-"
"Well, I'm off." I announce.
"Good luck." The Kai states. "You'll probably need it."
I give her a half lidded stare. "No I won't. I have Super saiyan god kaioken times fifty in my pocket."
"it's SON NIOOOON!"
I bring a hand to my head and teleport over, landing across from Goku as Vegito is to the far left, sat on a rock, Vegeta stands in the distance with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Finally, to round out our group, our last fighter hails from planet Vegeta! In a timeline where frieza never destroyed it, saiyan life thrived, please welcome the princess of all Saiyans, FORTEEEEE!"
"Forte?" I mutter quietly as my eyes snap over to the armor clad saiyan girl as she teleports into the ring.
She smirks. "Didn't expect this, did ya? Viola would have been here too if she had better control."
I frown slightly. If she's here she must reasonably be on par with Goku, Vegeta, Vegito, and myself. Her power level has either skyrocketed, or...
She has super saiyan god.
That might be a little interesting.
The corners of my mouth turn upwards as everyone nearby gazes at each other calculatingly.
"Now, I could always just keep on talking, but frankly, I'm just as excited as the rest of you! So why don't we get this show on the road! The deciding match of the strongest in Conton history will begin... NOW!"
Nobody moves for a moment, casting glances at each other as Vegeta and Goku enter their fighting stances, Vegito chuckles as he looks over to me, his arms crossed over his chest he suddenly appears in front of me, but I don't even move as his leg hammers into my neck.
"I really wish I could turn this form off." I bitterly state
His smile grows as his hair spikes up and becomes a brilliant blonde, I raise a hand and block his punch with my forearm, then shove him away with a swing of my arm.
A super saiyan three slides to a halt behind me and hammers a punch into my lower back, shoving me forwards slightly as I flip through the air.
I land on my feet a short distance away and cross my arms, looking at Forte with a raised eyebrow.
Her power has definitely increased, but its still nothing compared to Goku, Vegeta, or Vegito.
Her super saiyan three only allows her to match Vegito's super saiyan.
They both glare at each other out of the corner of their eyes, but judging how their eyes both slide back over to me, they have deemed me a much larger threat.
I take a step back as two figures barrel through where I was standing moments before, Vegeta flies backwards with his arms crossed as he glares at Goku, Vegeta is casually outpacing him with a mere super saiyan two while long golden hair flips around behind Goku as he swiftly follows the prince of all saiyans.
I raise a forearm and block Vegito's swift punch and duck under Forte's kick. I fling Vegito away by extending my arm and whirl around, sending Forte flying with a kick to the chest.
She flips through the air and lands roughly, sliding to a halt on her knees, I reappear before her and send a punch rocketing towards her face, she arches her back and narrowly avoids it.
Vegito ascends to super saiyan two and appears beside me, snapping my head to the side, I let out a low growl and swipe his hand away and smash the side of my head into his nose, earning a grunt of pain from the fused being, my hand swiftly finds itself planted into his stomach, he is blasted away with a wheezing gasp.
Forte flips to her feet, and hops away to gain distance.
"You've reached it... haven't you?" I ask with a grin.
Forte's eyes narrow as she smirks. "I don't know, have I?"
A foot crashes into my side and smashes me into a nearby mountain, the katchin material under my body cracks as I let out a low wheeze 'ow. Alright. That one actually hurt.'
I stand up and glare into the distance, I see Vegito, standing in his super saiyan three glory.
I look past him to see Goku in his super saiyan four state clashing relatively evenly with a super saiyan three vegeta. He holds the advantage, but it's not that large. A little startling, in fact. Both are around two to three times stronger than my de-powered state. Vegito down there is close, but not quite.
I should get some more training... Super Saiyan god should be more powerful than a super saiyan three.
I bring a hand to my forehead and instant transmission in front of Vegito and shoot a ki blast at his face, he tilts his head out of the way, of course, and blocks my knee with both arms.
I kick off him and spin through the air, he slides back from the force as I cup my hands and shoot a relatively weak energy wave.
He counters with one of his own, they meet in the middle and create a large explosion that rattles the battle island we find ourselves on.
I lunge forwards and punch forwards, Vegito blocks it with a single forearm, a grin on his face.
I twist around a counter punch and lash out with a roundhouse, but he ducks it and lashes out with his own kick that strikes the back of my knee.
I use his attack to backflip and land on my feet, lashing out with two punches that he counters with two of his own.
"You're quite good kid." He compliments.
"You're not too bad yourself old timer." I smirk as I lunge forwards, fist arcing towards his head, his own does the same.
My hand abruptly freezes, but Vegito's smashes into the side of my face as I abruptly turn my head to the side.
I ignore the pain as I narrow my eyes at Forte.
Vegito goes to capitalize on my distraction, but my power spikes and I send him flying with a single punch to the center of the chest without even looking.
Forte is in her base form, just standing there with her eyes closed.
Her eyes open suddenly, revealing red pupils.
A bright orange-ish red aura explodes off her, her hair turns bright red as she stares directly at me.
A smirk appears on my face as I wipe the bloody lip Vegito gave me, channeling some healing into the wound.
"Reckless, Reckless." She chastises with a smirk as she slowly walks forwards. "Already bleeding and I haven't even hit you hard yet."
"Oh? Are the kiddie gloves coming off?" I ask with a grin.
"Are they?" She asks slowly.
She suddenly appears in front of me, fist cocked back.
The next thing I feel is pain as I am imbedded into a rocky cliff face.
Forte smashes into me a second later, her head crashes into my own, we are both far too close for comfort.
Rocks crash down around us, trapping us an unknown distance from the surface.
"…"
"Vegito went super saiyan four, hn?" I ask.
The girl on top of me roughly shoves her hand in my face and uses it to push away from me.
She lets out a weak groan. "Mhn."
"Truce?" I ask, my voice muffled by her hand.
Her eyes narrow before she slowly nods. "Truce until we put him in his place."
"At our feet?" I ask with a small smirk.
"At our feet." She grins savagely.
Our power shoots outwards, the rubble is blasted off of us as we both stand back to back in the new crater.
"About time." A voice scoffs up at the edge of the crater.
I roll my shoulders as Forte turns to face Vegito
"So, this is super saiyan god, hn? What a load of Garbage." The fusion scoffs.
I smile and cross my arms. "You are wrong about this being super saiyan god... this is just a base form."
I reappear in front of him, he has his arms crossed, he weaves through my flurry of punches without counter attacking, his legs are sweeped by forte, causing his eyes to widen slightly.
"Kaioken." I state as my aura turns from flowing and calm to flickering like fire.
My heel smashes into the super saiyan four's face, smashing him into the ground, Forte punts him into the air as her aura deepens, turning a blood red with motes of lights throughout.
'God Evolution?!'
I quickly refocus and reappear in front of Vegito and kick him into the ground, creating a large crater that causes large cracks to cascade across the island.
I shoot a flurry of ki blasts downwards, peppering the landscape.
I cross my arms and slowly fall to the floor, I look to Forte, she glares back from across the Crater Vegito lays within.
"Truce over." She declares as she shoots a ki blast at me.
I swat it away effortlessly with a small smirk.
"I'm joining the big boy fight." I declare as I raise a hand and hit her with an invisible Kiai wave that sends her crashing into the broken mountain behind her.
I turn and look to the Super Saiyan three Goku with blue hair clash with Vegeta's super saiyan four. Goku has the advantage, but it's not by much.
I reappear in between them with a small smile, catching their attacks with crossed arms as I shift into god evolution, like this, I surpass their power by roughly a third.
They both widen their eyes slightly as I pull my hands outwards, smashing them together and launching the two of them away with a kick.
They regain their bearings, but I am quickly upon them, weaving through split attacks as we all try to brutalize each other.
A dodged kick from Vegeta here, a punch from Goku there, as our clash progresses, Vegeta and Goku attack each other less and less, my attacks are relentless and savage, a jab to Goku's side, a kick to the back of Vegeta's knee, a spiked ball of ki on my tail, smashing into his temple.
I lash out with a kick to the side that crashes into Goku's stomach, causing spittle to fly from his mouth as he is launched away.
I spin around, an orb of ki in hand as I smash my hand into Vegeta's stomach, blasting him back with a shuddering explosion.
We stand in a slight triangle, glaring at each other, blood drips down Vegeta's forehead as Goku clutches his stomach and stands up.
"Enough of this!" A voice behind me snaps, I glance back to see Vegito glaring at me, blood pooling around his mouth.
I look back to the Super Saiyan Three Beyond God Goku and the Super Saiyan Four Vegeta.
"Tch- Ignoring me, Brat?!" The fusion snarls. "That's a mistake!"
"Kaioken!" He roars.
I whirl around just in time to block a punch with crossed forearms. I am carried across the island, Vegeta appears behind me and lashes out with a kick that I duck, it strikes Vegito in the chest as Vegeta doesn't even bother slowing it down, I sweep Vegeta's leg and lash out with an elbow strike to the ribs, I turn and shoot a ki blast at Goku who barely dodges.
I allow my arms to fall as I feel the three of them regain their footing, Vegeta blasts forwards, Goku charges a ki blast, and Vegito brings a hand up to his forehead in preparation for an instant transmission.
I let out a long breath as I close my eyes, my evolved god form dissipating to my regular base power.
"ARE YOU LOOKING DOWN ON ME?!" Vegeta snarls.
A smirk appears on my face.
Pov: Vegeta.
This brat. He's looking down on him! A mistake that he'll soon regret!
The saiyan prince reaches the brat, fist cocked back, in the brat's current state, there's no way he should be able to dodge this. "ARE YOU LOOKING DOWN ON ME?!"
A smirk crosses the red haired Saiyan's face, causing Vegeta's rage to briefly falter.
He punches downwards, but the young man just twists out of the way, almost effortlessly, the saiyan prince's punch barely ruffling the front of his Gi as he strikes nothing.
'what?!' The prince thinks with narrowed eyes.
By all means, that attack should have hit him dead on.
The super saiyan four whirls around and lashes out with a scything roundhouse kick, but the saiyan god just simply ducks it without even opening his eyes.
Something is... wrong. The temperature spikes abruptly, the teen's arm suddenly rockets out, moving almost fast enough the saiyan prince couldn't see, but instead of striking him in his compromised position, it snakes out to the side and bats away a ki blast that Kakarot had fired, it spins to the side as the saiyan prince leaps back, suddenly much more on guard.
The ki blast strikes the fusion, Vegito, just as he appears via instant transmission and detonates, launching him away and merely ruffling the Saiyan God's hair.
His eyes finally crack open as streams of silver billow throughout his fiery orange aura. Instead of the deep red his eyes were before, two silver eyes meet Vegeta's own.
He lets out a long breath as the saiyan prince Raises his hands and fires several ki blasts.
He doesn't move for a moment, watching as the ki blasts approach, then in the next moment he takes a step forward... onto one of the ki blasts.
He leaps from it as it detonates, then bounces off the side of a second, landing back on the ground a short distance away where he blurs forwards, reappearing in the prince's face, a punch smashes into the super saiyan four's nose, but... there's not much weight behind it. It hurts, sure, but not as much as he should have felt from someone moving at that speed.
The super saiyan four smashes into the ground a short distance away and bounces roughly, he flips before he can touch the ground again and lands on his feet, bringing a hand up to his nose.
This has gotten slightly more interesting... he may even need to use that early.
Pov: returned.
I look down at my fist with a frown. 'I'm facing the same problem Goku did... no force behind my blows.'
I swat away three ki blasts from Goku without even looking, my eyes slowly slide towards him as he tenses slightly, a grin on his face.
I appear beside him and land a kick to his face, he goes along with the attack allowing it to shove him back, and lashing out with one of his own kicks as he flips backwards, I barely move backwards, allowing the kick to pass centimeters from my nose.
I counter two of his punches with two of my own and do a simple flip to the side and land a short distance away.
"I didn't know you were this strong, Nion!" Goku grins. "But your punches don't have any weight..."
I slip into his guard and slam two repeating punches into his jaw with the same hand.
His head snaps to the side as there's a small spurt of blood.
He flips back, bringing a hand to his mouth, he shoots out a one-handed ki wave with his other hand, causing me to get into a martial arts stance, the back of my hand slams into the ki wave, and as I twist, the beam bends around me, I twirl along with the beam and send it arcing towards a nearby Vegeta who lets out an irritated shout as the blast hits him dead-on.
"Kaioken times five!" Vegito snarls as he blasts back into the fight, I barely duck out of the way of his attack, his fist scraping past my cheek, my hand comes up and guides a kick away from my torso, I tilt my body back to avoid a swipe from his tail as he rights himself.
A ki blast arcs from his hand and strikes me right in the chest, causing blood to spew from my mouth as I am blasted backwards.
My feet carve grooves in the ground as I am slid backwards, I bend my body backwards, and place a single hand on the ground, doing a single back handspring to regain my footing.
I land in a crouch, my other hand brought up to my chest. 'that one hurt quite a bit.'
I glare at Vegito as he lets out a tired huff, kaioken aura dropping.
"ENOUGH OF THIS!" A voice to the side snarls.
I glance over to Vegeta whose fists are clenched. "I have had enough of all of your divine bullshit!"
"HRAAAAGH!"
He lets out a monstrous roar that shakes the floating island as his energy runs out of control, arcs of lightning crash from his aura as his muscle mass increases slightly, his hair lifts as the red color of his furry torso darkens, the red lines under his eyes grow as lightning crackles around his body.
He lets out a final roar as power bursts from him, lightning rips at the dirt as he allows his arms to hang limply at his sides.
"Huh?" The fusion blinks.
"Super Saiyan... five?" I mutter with a slow blink.
He reappears in front of Vegito, launching him away with a snap kick. Vegeta swipes a hand at me, and I am forced to dodge as the landscape is ripped up.
As I land, he reappears in front of me and swipes downwards, I cross my arms over my head, blocking the attack as my feet sink into the ground, the sound of my forearms cracking reaches my ears.
I suddenly flip backwards, avoiding the knee which would have smashed into my face, I bring up both my legs and kick off the super Saiyan... five?
He has definitely increased his power, nearly fourfold.
The silvery glow around me intensifies as a green glow appears around my arms, I twist around a punch as I step past him, and as he whirls around I step with him, staying back to back with him as I return to roughly where I was standing before.
I hop over a roundhouse kick and slide on my knees under a sweeping lariat.
I take a deep breath as I close my eyes.
"HRAAAGH!" Vegeta roars as he charges a ki blast and hurls it at me.
My hand comes up and gently nudges the ki sphere around me as I twist, the ball rockets off into the distance and smashes into the ground, creating a cascading explosion that causes roughly twenty percent of the island to split off and become its own floating island.
"Times Ten!" Vegito re-enters the conflict, I duck his almost lazy kick as he smashes into Vegeta's torso, causing the saiyan prince to snarl and grab the fusions leg, he whirls around and smashes Vegito into the rocky floor.
Silvery light pools around me, briefly obscuring my body from sight, then it breaks a moment later as I snap my eyes open. My hair is now completely white. I abruptly hold up a hand and guide away a punch from a Super Saiyan four goku with a pinkish aura. His power level is even higher than Vegeta's, even with his new form.
My other hand comes up and hammers into his torso, it doesn't leave much of an impact though as he had started flying back the second his blow didn't connect.
He tries to kick me in the face, but I easily lean back enough so his foot brushes a few centimeters from my nose.
My hand comes up and blurs forwards, Goku gasps, spittle flying from his mouth as three blasts of air smash into his stomach.
He is launched towards Vegeta who simply grabs Vegito by the face- as he is being punched in the face by the fusion- and smashes him into the soaring low class, sending both saiyans crashing into the ground.
"Kakarot!" Vegeta snarls. "DAMN YOU!"
He stomps on Goku's prone body. "DAMN YOU ALL! I'LL SURPASS EVEN THE GODS WITH MY OWN STRENGTH!"
He lifts a hand and shoots an energy wave at me; I easily duck to the side with a small spin and hurl a ki blast right back.
It explodes on his torso, but it doesn't even look like he feels it.
His head snaps back as Goku kicks him in the chin, Vegeta lets out a low growl, his power rising yet again as he smashes his forehead into Goku's.
"TIMES TWENTY!" Vegito roars as he smashes a kick into the back of Vegeta's knees, causing them to buckle and bring him down to a kneel, the kaioken clad saiyan blurs around Vegeta and smashes a punch into his cheek, snapping his body to the side.
He turns and kicks Goku in the stomach, causing the super saiyan four limit breaker to let out a small grunt, as with a times twenty, even Vegito surpasses his current power.
He whirls around, turning to face me and blasts forwards as fast as he can. "Time twenty five!"
I allow my arms to fall.
At the last moment I twist to the side, avoiding his attack entirely.
He crumples to the ground a moment later as his kaioken aura fades completely. The times twenty five taking its toll on him.
I give him a disinterested gaze, clearly he is out of the fight.
I silently glare at Goku and Vegeta as I cross my arms, Vegeta lowly growls while Goku smirks and enters a fighting stance.
All is calm for a moment...
The island shudders as a massive explosion causes the island to fracture, Vegito is flung from the arena, too weak to stop himself as a blue beam of light detonates a small mountain.
Cracks cascade along the mountain face as a blue line leaps from it, the mountain breaks off the island and begins floating sideways.
A figure lands beside me, hand raised, she has deep blue hair with a misty blue aura that has motes of light throughout it.
Super Saiyan Blue...
She hits me with a Kiai wave that launches me into the distance as my aura flairs and turns red briefly. I regain my footing and slide to a halt a short distance away.
As she is now... she is roughly four times stronger than even goku.
"So..." I slowly begin as I narrow my eyes. "You did do it."
"I did." She smirks. "Super saiyan... and saiyan god."
In the distance I faintly hear it...
"V-Vegito has been eliminated."
The five way free for all, has just become a four-way free for all... and powers can only go up from here.

Guest 001: I do... know how to do multiplication... a x2 kaioken multiplies strength by x2, a x1 is half of x2 so it multiplies by 1.5. regardless of whatever multiplier Nion uses, it will NEVER go below a 1.
