Water, water everywhere on day twenty-six.

"It amazes me how easily you can make friends, Akari."

The pink-haired Undine let out a hum of confusion as she turned to her friend. "What do you mean, Aika?"

"Take those sightseers we guided around," stated Aika as she pointed to the young couple they had just dropped off. "You had just met them and by the end it was like you knew each other for years."

Akari could only give off a bashful smile. "Ah, it's just how I am, I guess."

But Aika merely rolled her eyes. "Don't give me that. Do you have some strange power that make people want to be your friend?"

"Now that's not fair, Aika," replied Akari with a pout. "That suggests that I used such a power on you, but I'd like to think that our friendship is real."

Akari continued to pout as Aika giggled and brought her into a hug.

"Oh don't be like that, Akari. Of course our friendship is real and I wouldn't trade it for the world!"

That got Akari to smile and return the hug. "Aw, thanks, Aika!"

The two Undines continued to giggle before releasing the hug.

"Well the day is almost done, so how about we head back to Aria for the night?" asked Aika.

"Yes! Maybe if we're lucky dinner will be ready!"

She missed Aika rolling her eyes once more as the two headed back to Aria. As they walked, Akari thought back to what Aika said about making friends. She knew she didn't have some special power; she just made new friends easily.

Which is why she couldn't wait until tomorrow to make even more friends.

Apparently Aria was originally called Aqua and published in Monthly Stencil before moving to the magazine Comic Blade after two volumes.
