"Taiga-chan!"
"Oof!"
The girl with pink amaranth hair giggled after she glomped her best friend. "I missed you, Taiga-chan!"
"We saw each other this morning when school started, Minori," replied Taiga with a sigh, but not at all annoyed with her friend.
"I bet you were spending time with Ryuuji-kun, weren't you?" questioned Minori with a teasing grin.
Her giggles returned when Taiga blushed up a storm.
"S-Stop it, Minori! There is n-nothing going on between me and that idiot!"
But Minori wasn't listening. "I don't know. If there really wasn't anything going on between you two, why spend so much time together?"
"I ask myself that question everyday," replied Taiga with a growl. She then gave her friend a frown. "Seriously, there's nothing going on."
"Are you sure?"
'Considering that I know that YOU have feelings for him, Minori…' thought Taiga before answering. "Yes, I'm sure."
Minori gave off a smile, but Taiga could tell that something was off about it.
"If you say so, Taiga-chan!"
The conversation may have been done, but Minori was making plans to get her best friend and Ryuuji together. Unbeknownst to her though, Taiga was thinking of ways to get Minori and Ryuuji together since it was obvious to her that the two had feelings for each other.
Either way, someone was going to get hurt in the end.

Haven't seen Toradora, but after researching it for this I have determined that the love triangle between Minori, Ryuuji, and Taiga is one of the stupidest relationships I've ever seen in an animé. Minori and Ryuuji really like each other, but Minori thinks he's better off with Taiga. Taiga and Minori are both trying to get each other hooked up with Ryuuji, Minori rejects Ryuuji when he confesses and throws away her feelings for Taiga, and then right away Ryuuji elopes with Taiga even though not enough time had passed for him to get over his feelings for Minori. Going by the character profiles, Minori is WAY more deserving of Ryuuji than Taiga is.
