Reap what you sow on day eight.

The sun shined down on Shibuya as the people went about their business. One particular person though, was trying to get some work done…if only it weren't for her partner.
"Damn it, Kariya! Why can't you take this seriously?!" demanded the pink-haired girl with large black wings.
She clenched her teeth in anger as Kariya gave her that damn smirk of his. "Now, Uzuki-chan, you need to learn to live a little."
A growl escaped her as she continued to glare at him. "And you need to start taking things seriously!"
"Now you should know me better than that. I do take things seriously," replied Kariya with a slight laugh. He then held out an unopened lollipop towards Uzuki. "Lollipop?"
She let out a screech as she tried to take a swipe at the more experienced Reaper, who managed to avoid the attack.
"How can you still act like this after everything that has happened?!" yelled out Uzuki, her glare burning into him.
Her glare simmered though, when he turned to her with a frown on his face and a certain look in his eyes.
"I could ask you the same thing."
"…What's that supposed to mean?"
A sigh came from the candyman. "I know you are still hurting over what Konishi did to us."
Uzuki went stiff at the mention of that witch. "Sh-Shut up."
"You need to start taking things easy, Uzuki, lest something like that happens again."
She had to keep the tears from falling as she clenched her teeth and her fists. "I just…I just want people to recognize me."
A chuckle caused her to look up at her partner. She was about to lash out at him for laughing at her when she was stopped by a piece of paper he held out to her.
"And that's why I managed to set this up," replied Kariya as he handed her the paper.
She grabbed the paper and read it over, her eyes widening in shock before looking back at Kariya. "I'm going to be a Game Master?"
'That's right," said Kariya with a smirk. "Now it'll only be temporary and you'll still be a Harrier Reaper, but I figured if you had a very important job that it would help mellow you out. Now make sure you prove me right."
The tears flowed freely down her face as Uzuki tried her best to keep her composure. Someone was finally recognizing her work ethic.
"Th-Thank you, K-Kariya."

It's never really fully explained why Uzuki's personality changed between games, but I figured it was her time as a Game Master after The World Ends With You had something to do with it.
