I feel as if I should specify a few things.

Izuku is currently eight years old, meaning that this is 6 years before the canon sludge villain attack.

I am too lazy to look up Tomura's age so I'm just going to say he's like ten.

They are currently kids, so I'm going to right them like kids.

Izuku is probably going to be smarter than he should be, but I'm still righting him like that anyway.

Hope ya'll had a fun time reading this. I personally think it is leagues better than either of my first two chapters. I'm still looking for any criticism, maybe suggestions, to better improve my story.

Any who, without further ado, enjoy.

Shigaraki was currently on the ground. Blood was oozing from his nose, and he felt as if all his bones were broken. Standing over him was a short figure with green hair, freckles, and wide, green eyes. How this came to be, he would never tell you.

Flashback

Tomura was currently seething. He just lost count of how many times he lost at 'Hero Fighters Ultimate' to some kid that sensei brought. He didn't even pay attention to why, he just wanted to get back to his games at the time. But of course, the kid wanted to come along, so he said fine. Who knows, maybe he has some experience in gaming? But what he didn't expect, was that the kid would whoop his ass. He won the first few games, but after the fourth, it all became nothing but loses. He couldn't even hit a single fucking move by the end of it. As such, he wanted to teach this kid a lesson. He was his master's protégé, the new, up and coming Symbol of Fear. He could easily take care of some kid, but he was quick to realize something, this kid was a lot stronger than him. He was faster than him, hit harder than him, and he was so small, he couldn't even touch him. He even tried to use his quirk, but that just led him to use the weird items that he had on him. Like what kind of absurd stats do those have? They even have abilities attached to them.

End of flashback

And that's how he got here. Meanwhile, Kurogiri was having the time of his life watching him get his ass handed to him. Even sensei was chuckling at the overwhelming loses.

"You know, I was worried about how you would handle his arrival," his master's voice from a TV that said 'audio only' said, "But this is better than I expected."

"How, huh, is this, huh, fucking better, huh, than expected," questioned Tomura as his eyes glared daggers at the boy in front of him as he panted.

"Well, you can now see the usefulness of having him around." answered his master, "I want you to teach this boy as much as I want him to teach you. You've now seen his prowess, I'm sure you can get along."

The decay user scoffed, "As if I could get along with this guy". He said as he stormed out of the room.

The quirkless boy could only look at his master, his face asking what he should do.

"I'll talk to him, you on the other hand, must be getting home soon. I imagine your mother must be wondering where you are.

The boy nodded and quickly left. As he did so, Kurogiri looked to his master, "He doesn't talk much, does he," the specter asked.

The man hummed before speaking, "He doesn't have many friends, and he isn't the best at socializing. Hopefully, we can squeeze that out of him."

Kurogiri stared at the screen before going back to cleaning his bottles, "How on Earth do you think that Tomura could befriend someone." The specter questioned.

All For One chuckled before answering, "They'll get along, you'll see." The man said with confidence.

The Next Day

Izuku was currently heading back to the bar. He had just finished his homework for school and told his mom he was going to his friends house. Of course, he didn't really know if Tomura would be his friend. He just seemed...angry. It reminded him of an all too familiar blonde. But sensei said that he should try to make friends with Tomura, saying that it would help them both. But could they really be friends?

He walked inside and said hello to Kurogiri before going to Shigaraki's room. He knocked on the door, waiting for an answer.

Seemingly knowing who it was, a voice behind the door responded, "Go away."

He was in a pickle, he wanted to try to be friends with Tomura, but it appeared that the other didn't. And so he did the thing that he thought was best, ask sensei.

"Alright then, challenge him to another contest." his sensei said.

Izuku blinked at him for a few seconds before asking, "W-wouldn't that just make it worse." the boy concerned.

"It would, but I want you to try something else." he said before whispering something to Izuku, how he could whisper through a screen, I wouldn't know.

Tomura was really angry. He just told that kid to go away so that he didn't have to be reminded of his failures of yesterday, but then he went and declared to fight? His obvious answer was no but then the kid said something that made the boy freeze.

"I'll buy y-you some ********** merchandise if you come out." the boy said through the door.

Shigaraki was officially terrified. How the hell did he know that I like that game? Was his first question but then was followed up with a realization. Wait, he'll buy me merch?

He creaked open his door, looking over the boy that was in front of him. "I'll assume sensei told you." he concluded.

"Y-yeah," the boy said back.

Shigaraki thought for a few moments before speaking, "Will you really buy me some merch?" he questioned.

"Oh, uhm, yeah", the boy responded, blush on his face. He couldn't blame him; it was an acquired taste of 'artwork'.

As they walked to the room they used before, they could see Kurogiri bringing the TV sensei used to the room they were going to as well.

"Did sensei recommend this," Tomura asked the green-haired boy.

"M-maybe," Izuku didn't know if he was supposed to tell him that or not. So, he just went with 'maybe'.

The decay user cocked an eyebrow at him but continued to walk. His sensei must have a reason for this, but what could fighting him have to do with anything. Wouldn't that just make it worse?

As they entered the room, they both took their stance. They weren't sure who was supposed to go first, assuring Tomura that it was his master that put this together.

When the room was silent, All For One spoke, "Tomura, I wish for the best of you, I always have," he said to which Tomura nodded in response while dropping his stance, unsure where this was going. "Which is why he is here," he gestured, if a screen could gesture, at Izuku, "This boy is like you, young, directionless, and has a thirst to prove himself. That is why I wish for you two to fight, so that you can grow with each other, mold each other. I want you two to be the foundation, the starting point of what's to come. So please, Tomura, let down your walls for him like you did for me, and I can promise you, great things will come to you.

Tomura wasn't sure what to say, he never heard his sensei say please to him. Sure, he would ask him nicely for things, but please? As he was sorting his thoughts out, his 'opponent' from the other side of the room spoke to him.

"T-Tomura," he said, making him flinch from the use of his first name, "I-I," he stopped himself before taking a deep breath. "Tomura, I know you may not like me right now, but..." he trailed off slightly before bringing himself back, "I just wanted to say...I'm sorry."

The room went dead silent for a second before the older boy said, "Huh," confused to as why he was apologizing.

"I know I-I'm supposed to help you, but ever since I first got here I-I've just made you hate me." the boy said while looking down in shame, "I-I've only angered you and beat you up." he said, starting to cry a little before moving turning his head up to look at the older boy, "But please, *sniff* don't turn me away like they did."

The decay user listened to the boy's words, conflicted about his further actions. He didn't like this boy, at least not yet. And he sure as hell didn't like the idea of making friends with him, but maybe sensei was right? That he needed someone to help him along the way. Someone that he could grow alongside with one another. Someone to push him to his limits for all his time.

He looked at his opponent before taking a stance, "Listen, I don't like you," he said making the other boy whimper slightly, "So I have an idea," he said making the boy look up again. "If you can help me improve upon myself, then I'll be your friend. If not, then you must never come here again." the boy declared with a grin.

However, this did not discourage the quirkless boy. Instead, he was motivated by the fact that he could actually make a friend.

"I accept your challenge, Tomura", the boy fixed his stance with a look of determination on his face that made him absolutely adorable.

"You may call me by that name when you earn it," he said ominously as the two charged at each other.

Meanwhile, Kurogiri was rolling away the TV long before the fight began. He then asked a question once out of earshot, "So, how long do you think it will be until they warm up to each other."

"Tomorrow at most," he said with his usual chuckle.

The specter looked unimpressed though, "Do you really think that's possible", he questioned.

"Tomura merely stated that Izuku would need to help him improve. He could do that today then become his friend tomorrow," he said like as if nothing could go wrong.

Kurogiri could only sigh as he continued to roll the cart. Well, at least I get to see Tomura get his ass handed to him again. He said with what could be called a smile from the crease of his smoke.

Well, I hope you enjoyed it. As I said, I think this is a lot better than the first, albeit shorter.

Anyway, it's super late and I've already said what I wanted to say at the beginning, so, peace.
