Welcome to Omashu

Omashu, Earth Kingdom

When we hit the ground I am snapped awake by the sudden stop as Aang drags the three of us from the saddle to look at a city. As we look upon the city I am about to urge the group to move on but I hear a faint whistle in the city. " Uh Aang, Where are we?"

I inquire to which he responds, " We are at the Earth Kingdom city of Omashu!" Sokka and Katara are both in shock and amazement at the city. When Aang decides to run off Katara warns him that people would want to capture him. Thus Katara and Sokka disguise Aang as their Grandfather.

When we arrive at the entrance to the city Aang goes on about how kind the people in Omashu are however those thoughts are dashed when the Guard yells, " Rotten Cabbages! What Kind of slum do you think this is!" While we watch the cart fly then plummet into an abyss.

I state, " I will do the talking. You guys stay silent." As I walk up to the man, He seems somewhat weak-willed," We're simple travelers and the boy and girl needed some help with their Grandfather. May we enter Omashu?" The Guard yells with a rock to my head," Identification!" With a Jedi Mind Trick," You don't need our Identification." He mimes it perfectly the other guards open the city for us.

After we entered the city and walked further into the city. I pull them off to the side. " Don't get into any trouble Aang. I will meet up with all of you after your done with your 'mail run.'"

They all nod their heads so Sokka responds," We will meet at the entrance ok." As I go my separate way they all disappear into the crowd. 'Listen to the Force it will serve as my guide.' As I walk through the city listening to the whistling noise becomes greater. I find myself at a gem store. I look around then I see a Kyber Crystal. However, why is this one different then the store owner walks up to me? "Looking at that worthless gem why not get something that is far more impressive."

As he preps to lead me away from it, I inquire with a great smirk," How much for the Worthless Gem?"

He looks like he is about to faint. He answers," What do you have on you for if it is important everything you have or I will have my guards shake you down." His look of pure greed is awful, I need a new plan. Well, they think I am easily intimidated so I will show them.

I remark, "You may try." They both run at me, one slips and is easily knocked out. The other guard throws a punch and misses me for the owner then I kick him in his balls and he collapses.

The Owner is stunned," Next time get better guards I will take the crystal now, Thank you." As I walk away I see Aang, Katara, and Sokka ride one of the mail chutes.

I mutter to myself," I told them not to get into any trouble, and what they do get into trouble with the local authorities." Well, I will break them out of Earth Kingdom prison. I mutter a silent," Yay!"

As I am walking away the owner runs out of his store points and yells," Thief!" Karabast, Well time to run as I run several guards try to bring walls up but I sense them before they can hit me as I keep running. I hit a dead-end alley," Sithspit." The Guards are about to cave me in. I jump out of my predicament getting to the high ground and vanish into Omashu finding a place to hide.

Well after having lost the Guards in the mad maneuvering. I guess I will have to break them out of the King's prison. Which is far more difficult without a lightsaber since I would normally just cut through the walls but the lightsaber I have is old and doesn't want to work for me. Well, I will go get Appa and fly him into the palace. However, First I need to slip out of Omashu. Since it is almost nightfall I can easily slip out and rescue them easily. I jump up and get onto the wall kriff a patrol is coming thus I jump up again onto a tower to avoid being seen by the Guards.

"Did you hear who that was on the mail chute?" The one Guard asks the other guard who shakes his head." It is the Avatar!"

The other response," You're joking, Lee."

Lee responds, " It is the Avatar he has returned, and he travels with a Jedi from the messages from Kyoshi state."

The guard answers with a scoff, " Jedi are but myths and legends like a Unicorn or bears." Well, I need to go get Appa fast. As I land on the path I run to find where Appa is.

He is asleep Sithspit," Appa, Aang needs you he was captured by the King of Omashu." Appa doesn't even open an eye, he is out. Well, how am I going to rescue them now? Well, I will meditate on possible solutions so they might break themselves out. Though that is highly unlikely and a fool's hope. I think of it as I laugh at myself, " I would be considered a fool for my attempt to liberate Lothal. Well, there is no option right now." I set myself into a meditative state and feel the Force circling myself in which I lose myself.

When I awaken I see the Sun has already arisen kriffin Bantha Poodoo. Well, I missed my window to get them so maybe I can find them. Then I see something I thought to be only a mere mirage but then I am proven wrong they are free. As I walk over to them I look at them with one eyebrow cocked," Aang, What happened to you guys, and are you alright?"

Aang looks at me with a great smile and answers," I got to see my old friend Bumi and ride the Mail chutes!"

Katara calmly explains," The King challenged Aang to several challenges in which he succeeded and we were let go; we also had a feast."

I erupt," You had a feast again and this time without me! How could you not invite me? Please tell me you brought some food with you?" They look at each other with a look of forgetfulness.

Then I address them in their confusion," The Food doesn't matter. What matters is all three of you are alright and safe."

Sokka with a questioning gaze asks," Well what did you do while we dealt with Aang's Shenanigans."

I give a look of fear Sokka takes note of it and I respond," I stole a Kyber Crystal from a greedy shopkeeper who tried to intimidate me, Then I slipped out of the city and attempting to figure out a rescue plan but Appa was passed out. Thus I went to meditate on a plan, during which I fell asleep." After all the running in Omashu, we leave onwards to the North Pole. Though I still need one more crystal to finish my lightsaber and to grant it a true connection.

I don't own either Star Wars or Avatar the Last Airbender both belong to their respective owners. Critique to your heart's content but be polite. This Chapter is shorter than I planned and I wanted to post this chapter so it can hold you over because I have other things that will be consuming my time and take away time for me to write.
